I have been a patient of JCMC Outpatient Services for more than three years and I have had ten surgeries performed on me. This place is amazing and so are the people.
Over the past three years I've tried to leave a review on several occasions but could never find the words to thank the staff and doctors, and let them know how greatful I am for how well they have treated me; and for how hard they have successfully worked to prevent my leg from being amputated; and truthfully , I still don't have the words to thank them. I'm truly sorry for that and I would probably not be leaving this review if my heart was not as saddened as it is because of the loss of a great and wonderful human being.

I received the news yesterday that Victor has passed on, and as these tears roll down my face, I feel a deep pain because the world has lost a one of a kind person.
For me, Victor made JCMC Outpatient Services the most welcoming place in the world. He just makes you feel so comfortable there even when you are in the worst pain. I can't believe that he is gone. I swear I can't imagine walking in there and not seeing him.
I'm not gonna go on and on because I don't even know if all of this is ok to right on a review.

If you met him then you know that he went above and beyond for any and everyone.

Dr. Rothrock arranged a tele-health appointment with me very promptly after I called and spent almost an hour with me going over my MRI and discussing my options. He answered all my questions and never left me feeling rushed. Unfortunately, I was forced to use a different surgeon due to scheduling issues and the intense pain I was experiencing. After my procedure, he even followed up with me to see how I was recovering. I would recommend him without reservation.

I have read so many good reviews and some bad, which worried me. But I decided to take the risk and drop my shoes. Let me say Bob did an absolutely amazing job. 6 pairs of shoes looked absolutely new again with heels and soles replaced and shined like they were new. I’m glad I found a new place with great work and way cheaper than other shoe repair shops in Hoboken and New York.
The majority of any busy shop will make flawless mistakes, but when communicating with Bob, it was done right away. Which people would rather go online and write a bad review than tell Bob to fix it on the spot. Don’t be shy and communicate people. It not Covid era anymore.

When I first visited her salon in May of 2024, I had been suffering from alopecia tied to low iron and vitamin D which caused excessive hair thinning and shedding. I was fed up with a prior stylist who acted like it wasn't a big deal and gaslit men repeatedly that nothing as wrong with my hair. Britt did a through scalp analysis and we discussed both my long and short term hair goals. I regularly saw her every 12 weeks or ago for trims and to apply the MyVeg reconstructive treatment. I already had a great at home regimen so no tweaking was needed. Over the past 16 months my shedding has drastically reduced, my hair thickened, and the growth is no longer at a snails pace thanks to me researching supplements and Brittneys expertise.
Amanda is amazing! I had been wanting to get extensions for a long time but was honestly really nervous about it. I’d looked into a bunch of salons before and always got close, but something never felt quite right. I’ve been going to Love Lane Salon for a while now, they have such talented stylists, and one day I noticed they had started offering extensions. Since I already loved the salon, I decided to book a consultation with Amanda.
She immediately made me feel comfortable. She was super knowledgeable, answered all my questions, and walked me through how everything works. I appreciated that she wasn’t pushy at all—no upselling, just genuine care for what would be best and healthiest for my hair.
Even during the actual appointment, I was still a little nervous, but Amanda was so calming and reassuring. And the results? Absolutely incredible. The extensions were seamless. She matched them perfectly to my hair’s texture and color, which isn’t easy to do, and the final look was just stunning. On top of that, she made the whole experience fun and enjoyable.
What really stood out to me was how much she followed up afterward. She checked in during the grow-out process, gave me personalized recommendations, and made sure everything was going well. The extensions also lasted a really long time before I needed to get them adjusted.

I had an appointment with Brenda on May 12, the day before my graduation. This was my very first haircut in the US, and since I have 3B curly hair, I was nervous about getting a haircut right before such an important event. I was worried it might not turn out the way I wanted.
But Brenda did a fantastic job! She gave me a fabulous haircut, styled my hair beautifully, and let me tell you, it looked absolutely gorgeous. My hair was still perfectly set the next day for my graduation as well. I loved my haircut!
She was also very mindful of maintaining my hair length and didn’t cut it too short, which I really appreciated. If you have curly hair, I definitely recommend visiting Paloma and, of course, booking your haircut with Brenda. :)

I went for a pedicure and acrylic nails for hands on gel polish, and a custom design, and I was completely delighted with the results. From the moment I arrived, the service was very professional and friendly. The space was clean, tidy, and had a relaxing atmosphere that made the whole experience even more enjoyable.
The acrylic nails were firm, well-sculpted, and the perfect length for my hands , without feeling heavy or uncomfortable. Ana was thorough and took the time to ensure each nail was symmetrical and natural.
The gel polish was impeccable: vibrant colors, no bubbles or smudges, and a glossy finish that lasted for weeks without fading. I was also offered a wide variety of shades and finishes to choose from.
What surprised me most was the level of detail in the custom designs. They created small artistic details on two of my nails that looked like tiny works of art. Exactly what I had requested, and even better! Thank you Ana you re the best!!!

Coming back after two years and it was just as good of an experience as the first but even better. I came a little early and was put in the chair despite that. I was greeted with kindness, and flexibility. The conversation flower and the nails blew my expectations since I came in indecisive, I was given lots of options and even a better one than expected. My nails always last a long time but I lifted up 6 40 case bottles of water up flights of stairs without breaking a nail... My expectations are HIGH. Also she introduced me to two tone polish and I'm so intrigued by the fact it changes color

Did the full body massage and it was very nice and relaxing! Definitely bring cash to avoid the $5 tax fee on credit cards. Parking is located on Grace St behind the business.

Lovely massage with Francesca! I loved how the spa area was completely separate from the gym and had a totally different vibe - very relaxing! You can also use the steam / sauna before or after your massage which was such a nice and unexpected treat! Overall wonderful experience and will definitely return. My only suggestion would be to tell clients at the time of booking about the steam / sauna because I would have arrived earlier if I had known.

My daughter and I both got belly piercings with Lauren, and she was amazing. She was especially patient with my daughter, as it was her first time, while this was my second experience. Lauren was very gentle throughout the process and took the time to answer all of my daughter’s questions about proper aftercare and healing.

I had a leak in my living room coming from a room above. First thing they did when they walked in was to immediately put down a tarp so they wouldn't get anything soiled. The problem was Id & addressed. They also installed new sink fixtures in my kitchen. They were fast, efficient, clean working & friendly. I will have no problem using them again when needed.
Eddie is my go to for all plumbing needs. He is responsive, honest and does a great job. He also has an excellent network of fellow contractors that he can refer you to should the job not just be a plumbing issue. I have called him for water heater issues as well as bathroom leaks.
We had an emergency when the hot water heater was leaking. They came right away, stopped the leak, cleaned the mess and installed a new system the same day. They were very pleasant to deal with, and the price was great. I would use them for any of my plumbing and heating problems.
Marty and his team helped me in an emergency leak situation. I had two hot water heaters leaking, one severely. They showed up quickly, diagnosed the problem and provided a repair (two new hot water heaters) for a very fair price. The work was done very fast. A New Jersey, if not national, treasure ❤️ I am so deeply thankful to Joe and the entire team at Standard Tile for everything: for their sage advice, for the sheer variety of tile available on display, and for honoring delivery times. As a frequent customer, I always feel like they are a people-centered business, because they patiently listen to me explain the project I want to accomplish and then offer options within my budget and vision. Once, they called me that my order was ready, and upon hearing that I was planning to walk or call an Uber, they just offered to deliver. And they delivered within 10 minutes! Another time, they replaced a box of tile that was broken upon delivery within hours.
As a woman doing construction, I also frequently encounter condescension and sexism frequently in the industry. There was none of that at Standard Tile – just respect, kindness, and shared humanity.
I am really thankful for this local store and hope that it will continue to exist near me for generations to come. I won't be shopping for tiles anywhere else except Standard Tile.

I noticed a lot more dust than normal around my house, so I just made an appointment for an air duct cleaning. The specialist showed me exactly what was within the ducting during the air duct examination and described how it affected indoor air quality and airflow. The service was finished completely, and the improvement was apparent nearly right away. The HVAC system appears to be operating more effectively, and the air feels cleaner. The technician took the time to address all of my inquiries and was kind and professional. All in all, it was a fantastic experience, and I would certainly suggest this service to other people.

I came to Dr. Kim because of some faulty dental work from my previous dentist. He fixed it within moments and I have been going to him since.
Dr. Kim is very thorough, a man of VERY few words, calm and makes me feel like this is not his first rodeo - which I need as a dentist. His dental tech is SUPER warm, plays good music and is very attentive. They make a great team and work together well when it comes to communication with myself, each other and the dentistry itself.
If I have any questions, Dr. Kim answers it and if I have any concerns, he solves it.
Oh! Not only is he good, he is fast. The fact I know I my appointment will start on time, he will be sitting in his chair within 2-3 minutes after I sit down and them I am out!?!? With HEALTHIER TEETH!?!?! Can't beat it.
The last time I was at his office for fillings, I was not feeling comfortable with a filling, so while I was paying I brought it up. The young lady said "Really?", called him back upstairs. He patently listened, put on gloves and fixed it in 1 minute. He did not try to dismiss my feelings, he was like "Understood" and he fixed it. I am completely satisfied.
In retrospect, I also like the fact that his staff feels comfortable enough to call him from another room to address my concerns. Speaks volumes.

I worked with Dr. Sura during my pregnancy, first just for general care and then to try a flip my baby from breech. It was really a wonderful experience. She's a great chiropractor and she's a very warm and caring person, so it was always a positive and helpful experience. I first came to see Dr. Tejada in 2017 to treat a pinched nerve in my neck. I have had back/neck issues off and on, following a bad car accident at age 17. I was immediately impressed with how knowledgeable Dr. Tejada was by precisely pinpointing my issues both before and after my x-rays. She placed me on the ideal treatment plan which quickly healed my pinched nerve. I continue to see Dr. Tejada for ongoing maintenance/ whenever my neck/back pain resurfaces. An added benefit of her practice - she has a wonderful acupuncturist and physical therapist who will treat you during the same chiropractic session! I highly recommend Dr. Tejada and the Amazing Touch practice/staff to anyone looking for superior neck/back treatment.

I was referred here for chiropractic following a car accident. Dr. Randi is excellent. She's knowledgeable and offered useful insights over the course of the treatment. Her approach is comprehensive. She recommended at-home changes, such as improved sleeping positions and seating posture. In addition, she arranged for the office to provide a therapeutic traction device for regular use. As a mother, the possibility of my son having cancer was in the back of my mind. We always think the worst. The swelling on his face was not subsiding, dismissing the chances that it could have been a bee sting, or an allergy to pollen, or a fungus. I did not want to believe. He is a joyful child who loves chasing after cats, squirrels, douchebags, and plunging into the lake at Lincoln Park. On his tush, the hamza is etched to ward off evil eye and...douchebags. He is a rescue, from a terrible family, and landed into my arms like a blessing. So for reassurance, I went to Animal Clinic as they are walking distance from my house. We had the clinic to ourselves as it was a Thursday morning. He got sedated and tests and x rays were made on him. While the cytology came out inconclusive and no metastasis was present anywhere in his body, there was an extremely high chance that it was a tumor and malignant as such due to how fast it was growing. They sent us home with steroids to see if they would work on bringing the swelling down while advising me to make an appointment with an oncologist. There are no vet oncologists in Jersey City. There are no vet specialists for that matter, in Jersey City. So...ok....why am I giving the clinic 5 stars? they allowed my son to rest after the tests and wean off the sedation. He stayed in a room by himself, dozing off the sedatives, until he was able to walk on his own. It took 3 hours for that to happen and I am appreciative for them not to have kicked us out once exams were done. I brought with me my work and carried on my job at the clinic; it was like any other working day, while waiting to be able to walk back home. He woke up, was able to walk and we had a lovely stroll back to our fluffy beds and tushy tickles. Every small gesture of kindness towards my child is worth gold. Didn't matter if the tests were inconclusive and still had to pay for them. They treated my son well and that's all that matters.
Surprised to see anything but 5 stars here. Dr. Buchholz is super knowledgeable and helpful. Even though we moved we will still drive a long distance to see him because we trust his opinion and he provides the best care. Clean clinic, nice staff. The location is a bit annoying get to, but at least there's easy parking (private parking lot) and prices are very fair. Highly recommend!

I've brought both my cats here for treatment and to get their nails done. The staff is super friendly and very empathetic to me and my concerns. I highly recommend this place if you have a pet. I also suggest getting pet insurance and a Care Card for surprise sicknesses. Now a days having this is the best protection against any pop up issues. These are important regardless of where you go.

We have only had the loveliest of experiences with this team. Our two Pomeranians - Birdie + Meeka - get so excited once they realize where we’re going. They genuinely love all of the staff there and we feel very comfortable and safe with leaving them with the team - Which is a big deal when you’re handing over your babies! Such a Lovely Jersey City studio. The person at the check-in desk was very helpful and welcoming to get me situated for my first class. Since then, I have had two more classes. I am not a fan of hot yoga, so I took two kinds of unheated classes. Both were led by competent instructors who knew their material well and were welcoming and kind. The only reason I don’t give it five stars is that I am not a fan of music during class. Call me old school, but I prefer to be focused on my poses and my breathing and not disturbed by melodies or lyrics. In one class, I actually had to ask her to lower the music because I could not hear her voice. She seem surprised by this and not particularly willing to lower the music for me. I will return, but I am searching for a studio that has more unheated options perhaps with no music at all.

Starting my day at PowerFlow Yoga in Jersey City with Susan and James has become one of the best parts of my routine. Their morning classes are truly phenomenal- not just a workout, but a complete mind, body, and spirit experience.
The flow of each class is seamless, combining strength, flexibility, balance, and mindfulness in a way that leaves you feeling energized and grounded for the rest of the day. Susan and James have a remarkable ability to challenge you while making every student feel supported, regardless of where they are in their practice.
Their playlists are always on point and perfectly complement the energy of the class, creating an atmosphere that is both motivating and uplifting. Beyond being exceptional instructors, they are incredible teachers who inspire growth, confidence, strength, and flexibility both on and off the mat.
If you’re looking for a studio where you can learn, grow, and start your day feeling your absolute best, I can’t recommend Susan and James enough. They are truly two phenomenal teachers, and PowerFlow Yoga is lucky to have them. I’ve enjoyed classes with other instructors as well, but Susan and James have been the biggest part of my journey this past year with my recovering of my ACL & MCL tear
One of the best deep tissue I've gotten. 90 minutes and first time I've felt longer term benefits from a massage. I highly recommend and likely will be back.
Yesterday I had a wonderful 90 minute massage with Maureen. I have had really bad hip and lower back pain since I am 32 weeks pregnant, and Maureen did a great job targeting those areas. Last night I did not wake up in pain like I have every night. She also did this great face massage, that I had no idea that I needed or wanted. It felt so relaxing that if I had had more time, I would have fallen asleep. I have solely gone to META for massages, and I always leave happy.

I love going to Salvation Wellness! I have a membership so I either go once a month or go every other month for a longer massage. I have seen multiple therapists and I have always enjoyed my experience. I know that I like a lot of pressure so I went with the recommendations in the bios. I have seen Jay, Robert, Sandra, Nikki, and Carmen. All therapists regardless of gender are incredibly professional and make sure that I am comfortable. Would 100% recommend!

These are the best masseuses in Hudson County. Maybe in NJ. They have helped immensely with joint pain, headaches, and back pain. They understand bodies better than a lot of doctors. I am very thankful for everyone there.

This review is long overdue! I had no prior experience with traditional Chinese medicine or acupuncture when I started seeing Erin over two years ago for severe back pain. Not only did she help me manage my back pain, she has also helped me with allergies, sickness symptoms, perimenopause symptoms… even grief when my dog passed. In addition to helping me medically and treating her patients with compassion and care, Erin is an extraordinary human who contributes so much to the community. My family and I have been going to Dr. Lescano for acupuncture and cupping for years. She has excellent bedside manners—kind and a good listener. She provides a calm, soothing environment for her patients. She does a variety of treatments to alleviate pain. We’ve always felt better after a session with Dr. Lescano.

The only driving school I’ve been to and I’m happy I used them. I passed my road test using the instructor Ligia. Shes the best! She made sure I was comfortable and taught me many different techniques to pass my test. 10/10 would recommend!
