I switched to Modern Family dentistry a little over a year ago and have found their service superb. Dr. Pico and her husband are both excellent as dentists and provide personalized care. My friend recommended Modern Family Dentistry to me after never having fully settled with a new dentist in Jersey City. They really take an in depth assessment of the teeth via X-rays and measurements. They make suggestions and take time to listen to any concerns. There is never a long wait to be seen. I am a new patient at Modern Family Dentistry, and I have been very impressed with the quality of care I have received from my very first visit.
My 1st appointment was for an annual exam, x-rays, and cleaning. The technicians were very patient and gentle while taking my x-rays. My dentist gave me a thorough explanation of my dental health condition. I was provided with a a treatment plan, and I began the process the following week.

Very convenient location and they take my insurance without too much of a copay for special service.

Lasting and consistent results for my young child and myself
The two head providers are great with my daughter and reversed her cavity.
Areas for improvement:
Its owned by one couple and I don’t always recognize the same front desk staff and they seem
To need training (maybe some attrition) and need to work on maintaining support hygienists and admins.
Overall I recommend with some caveats
