JJ is the best! We've used them twice now and will definitely hire again. Two things that really stand out compared to other contractors:1. Excellent communication. Cannot say this enough. Nikol is on top of every project. We never had to follow up or ask for updates. It really took a lot of stress off our plate, especially since we work from home and have two dogs in the house, so good communication and planning was essential.2. Andres is very knowledgable in every trade. His estimates are incredibly detailed. He knows what work needs to be done and exactly how long it should take. They have my complete trust! We’ve completed two recent projects at my home in Jersey City and I can’t wait to work with them again. Andres and his team moved quickly and gave us their full attention until the jobs were done. All the work is top quality, we couldn’t be happier!Shoutout to Nikol for keeping things organized and providing much-needed guidance throughout the jobs. Her patience and easy communication sets this company apart!Specific work I can recommend J.J. Builders for includes: careful demolition and debris removal, concrete work, framing, bathroom renovation, door and window replacement, tile work, electrical, plumbing, exterior insulation and siding,...read full review
J.J. Builders did a wonderful job renovating our garden level unit. Nikol was wonderful to work with and I appreciated how organized and responsive she was throughout the entire project. Andres did a terrific job with the construction work to make everything beautiful. Last but not least, they are great dealing with Historical Preservation and Building Department people to get permits approved, which is truly a nightmare in Jersey City.
