Balance by Acupuncture

I had brain surgery in April and struggled a lot with balance, coordination, neck movement, etc post-op. I worked with Dr. James for about 4 months 2x times a week. He was extremely knowledgeable about the nervous system and knew what I needed to do to rehabilitate my body. He tackled every new struggle I noticed, and worked on different exercises with me every session. They worked with my insurance several times to extend my care, and they were very accommodating with my schedule. I've had 2 surgeries for my right ankle which was fractured on both sides during a trail run. As a runner, this accident has been tough mentally so I was really looking forward to my first physiotherapy session with Humberto. First, I was greeted with a warm welcome by Julissa, George, and Humberto. During the session, I was really scared to push myself, but he was reassuring and encouraging so that kept me calm. He patiently answered all of my questions, explained what I needed to do to reach my goals, and gave me exercises to do at home. I can't believe it took me so long to review CPR. It's been THE place I have relied on several times to help deal with chronic and acute injuries (back issues, shoulder and elbow issues). Dr. James and his staff are warm, thoughtful and truly care about their craft. As someone who participates in a lot of physical activity and coaches others, I truly appreciate all of their help and expertise, and refer my own fitness coaching clients to them.
