Damien was very knowledgeable and professional regarding the Bosch air handler system. He communicated his findings very well so I could understand the problem and was proactive about what to do if I had a problem again with my AC. When he left after 1 1/2 hrs my system was cooling.
I was given an appointment the same afternoon I called and given a 2 hr window that tech could show up. He was 15 minutes later than estimated, but the office called to notify and get my ok for later arrival.

Just recently moved to Winston Salem and a friend referred me to Wall Turner originally for servicing my AC in my new house. They did a great job so I purchased their extended service plan for 3 years. Then I decided to upgrade my dryer duct which they easily did. I also realized that my water heater was almost 30 years old and Im pretty sure it was never serviced. They gave me a fair price with excellent professional installation and service. My friend had been talking about how amazing her stylist Bridget Orenga was for months. I had given up going to a salon because I’d been let down so many times & was just box dying my hair at home. Finally I decided I had to go see Bridget at Pretty Is As Pretty Does & have my hair professionally colored again. The salon is easy to find, clean & has really good vibes. I decided to do highlights. I thought I’d be there for hours. Color, highlights, glaze, cut, dry in approximately 2 hours & my hair was perfect! She is magnificent! After 15 years with the same stylist that cut my hair, she retired. I knew sooner than later this would happen and I would again be faced with seeking out someone new to cut my hair. Nearly 9 weeks passed and I was way over due for a fresh cut. Honestly, the thoughts of beginning to find someone new seemed daunting , therefore I procrastinated. The main reason was the concern that I would land a terrible cut, which coming from someone that is particular about their hair this was a big deal. Lol. I think it’s fair to say that I reviewed 50+ barbers/ salons in the area. I looked at their websites, read reviews and looked at photos. I was looking for more than just a barber I was looking for an experience and a barber that was an artist at their skill. I wanted someone that felt comfortable in their craft that would spend the time creating a cut that fit what I was seeking while also recommending what would work the best overall for thinner hair and shape of head etc. I also never had the experience of a beard trim and straight razor hot shave , so this too was on the list of services I was looking for. Finally after much searching I felt sure that I was making a solid decision on Chip Greer to make this change a reality. Wow, not only did I get an amazing detailed haircut I got an experience. The hot shave was awesome and the results was a clean straight line shave along with a perfect trimmed and shaped beard. Part of this experience was meeting the master himself, Chip. After 5 minutes of introductions I already knew I was in for a treat. Chip is a great conversationalist and gentlemen. You can tell he takes pride in his craft and pays great attention to detail to the overall experience you get. Needless to say I will be booking my next appointment. Chip, Thank you!

Since moving to WS-area, I have searched for a beauty salon that could lighten/balayage my hair how I like it and finally found Chanel on Instagram. You find some many blonde-coloring specialists around but not a lot that can really do naturally dark brunette hair.

Y’all, coming into the appointment I had no eyebrows. They were messed up and very uneven! Maricela, the technician who did the brow bundle today, was so skilled and super knowledgeable. She helped ease my mind and anxiety over my uneven brows, and then got to work. It was way faster than I expected and the results were absolutely amazing! I audibly gasped, they’ve never looked this good before!!

I treated myself and my mom to a massage at The Tiny Spa. My masseuse Chae Was running a little late, but she compensated me by placing some hot stones on my back. Which was very nice. I received a 90 minute reset massage. Chae was wonderful.She worked on my upper back which was very tight and full of knots. She really broke them up and I left there feeling sooooo much better. Would highly recommend her
My mom also got the reset 1hour massage. She had Tasheena. She is new to massage therapy but mom said she was wonderful. She listened to mom and compensated to her n reds. So I’m just writing a review on the I treated myself and my mom to a massage at the tiny spa. I can not explain how amazing their team is. The sweetest people I have ever met in my life. I have never been to such an accommodating place and understanding. Front desk Sabreen took such good care of us. We got there and as soon as we did we learned that we the grooms family had a death in their family and my sister who is the bride had a panic attack and stopped talking to everyone. The reservation line told us we can reschedule for another day even though they paid ladies for the day to come in for our group. But we ended up staying any way because that was the brides request. And sabreen is the sweetest person ever she tried her best to take my sister out of the sad mood and do the most to make her happy. I want to say thank you so much for making our day better and being such amazing humans and that now a days we don’t have much of ❤

Dark Roots Tattoo Co. was such a great experience. The whole place felt friendly, welcoming, and genuinely inclusive from the start. What I appreciated most was that they really listened to what I wanted for my tattoo instead of pushing their own ideas or acting like their ego mattered more than the person wearing the art. It felt respectful, collaborative, and comfortable the whole time.

I came last week to buy jewelry to change out my eyebrow piercing to a shorter bar. Since they weren’t sure if what they had in stock would be shorter, they offered to test it before I pay just in case. It was in fact the same as what I had in but they were able to tell me what size to get so I could order it. I just came in with my new jewelry in hand and a different but equally friendly piercer helped to get me sorted! There was a bit of a wait but the fact he banged out 2 piercings in less than an hour before it got to my turn on a busy Friday was impressive to me. Didn’t get pierced here but the jewelry change experience was top notch :)

Transou Plumbing came to the rescue on January 1st — New Year’s Day! I couldn’t believe they were working on a holiday, but it was perfect timing since I was off work anyway. Super convenient and much appreciated.
We had raw sewage surfacing in the yard from a broken cast-iron sewer line to our septic tank. They showed up quickly, located the problem, dug it up, unclogged the line, repaired the broken section, and added a much-needed cleanout — all for a very reasonable price. The lady at the office was very nice and professional when she explained the pricing for both the repair and the full replacement options.
The plumber himself was awesome: respectful, wore shoe covers inside the house, and took the time to explain everything in detail — why the pipe broke, how the clog contributed, and what to watch for going forward.
While he was here, I mentioned that our dishwasher hadn’t been draining properly — in fact, we hadn’t even used it since 2023 because we thought it was broken. He immediately checked the garbage disposal, found the knockout plug was still sealed (the one that’s supposed to be removed for the dishwasher hose), punched it out, and fixed the issue on the spot. Super efficient — and now we have a working dishwasher again after years!
Everything is draining perfectly now — both the sewer line and the dishwasher — no more wet spots outside, and we have a cleanout for easier future maintenance. Outstanding service from start to finish by a great local company with decades of experience. Highly recommend! 100%

Highly recommend Safe Current Electric. I hired Nathan to connect an electrical service to my finished outdoor shed. He installed a subpanel and 14 outlets, dug the trench, and ran all the conduit. I was in a pretty tight spot due to budget constraints and Nathan was able to provide recommendations that saved me time and money. Excellent experience and fairly priced.
I needed a small job just to replace an outlet under my Kitchen sink that supplies power to my dishwasher and disposal. I had called other electricians and received much higher quotes. These guys go above and beyond. We had recessed lighting installed in 4 bedrooms, three ceiling fans replaced, and four existing recessed lights retrofitted with new casings and bulbs. From beginning to end, the process was seamless and so easy. On top of it all, everyone we worked with was very kind and pleasant. The electricians covered everything and easily clean it after a job like this was enough to make me put this off for a while. But I had read other reviews that this company covers everything and takes care of everything. It was so so so great not to have to deal with the aftermath. They set down tarps on the stairs in the hallways, etc. So much care and thought into everything. They accomplished it early in the afternoon. Everything was clean and wonderfully lit up. This was my first time using Salem Electric, and I was extremely pleased with their service. First, I was able to get an appointment in a reasonable time frame. Second, the two electricians who came showed up on time and were very professional. My experience with Lugardo flooring was tremendous. They were super quick to get me a very well-priced quote to have carpet ripped up and replaced with LVP flooring. When they arrived at 8am, I was given an estimated completion time of around 2pm. When they were finished, it wasn’t even 11am yet. They were unbelievably friendly, quick and efficient. I highly recommend giving Lugardo your business if you are in need of new flooring in your home.

Today is Feb 8,... What a day, my uncle passed away this morning... went to tell my functioning 99 yr old dad of the news only to find him sitting in a cold house . His oil had run out. Due to all the ice and snow, he couldn't check his tank. I called Bain Oil after their closing hour of 2pm and told Dino about the situation, because they had closed. They made an exception and brought my father the oil. Dino came and was so caring and was glad he could bring the oil and also he had to light the furnace light back up. He didn't complain at all and said he was happy he could do it. I'm so thankful that there are Companies and People in this world that still care and think outside of the box. Bain Oil is the absolute best!!

We used Godspeed Tree Service last October to remove two tall tree/bushes. They did a fantastic job removing these tree/bushes in a very short amount of time and cleaned up everything exceptionally well. They did the same today. They trimmed up a cherry tree and a maple tree. In less than 2 hours everything was cleaned up like they had never been there. I would highly recommend them and use them again.

Super impressed with how fast they were able to remove three massive oak trees in my front yard. Nate and his team came in full force got all three before the sun came down. He returned this morning. I highly recommend Frady Tree Care! I reached out in May to ask for an estimate to remove some trees from my natural area and to prune back trees around my yard. Kelly, who is a certified arborist, came out, walked around the yard with me, listened to what I wanted, and made some recommendations. We agreed on a plan to remove some branches and trees that were endangering my house and to remove and prune some others to give my garden more sunlight. He was very knowledgable and professional and gave me a verbal quote for the work. Shortly after, Tanya emailed me an official estimate putting everything we had discussed in writing. Once I reviewed and approved it, they worked with me to schedule a date that was convenient for me. When the crew arrived, they were incredibly polite and professional, and they performed all the work discussed. When they left, they left everything nice and neat. I've been very pleased with the job they did and will definitely use them again when I need more work done!

I highly recommend the entire team at Wrigth Chiropractic what an efficient, caring and professional group of individuals. I was in extreme pain because of a bulging disk which developed for some odd reason of replacement knee surgery. The worse pain I have every experienced. The spine specialist I was going to suggested that I go to a chiropractor and felt this would be beneficial. Dr. Tim Singler accesses my situation, formulated and action plan, and begin treatment. I am now ant a level 1 in pain which is a result of a mild arthritis issue.
If you have any level of discomfort, I give high marks to Wright Chiropractic it will be a very good experience with positive results.

Great experience. My cat Nigel is a nervous boy and he cannot do car rides. He doesn’t do well going in person to vets at all. He still doesn’t like shots, but he calmed down so much faster after his check up this time, and no anxiety induced vomiting! So much better. Super comfortable with Dr Klatt, and she was so good with Nigel!
Dr Dixon came to the rescue for my horse, Mamzell. She was coughing & breathing 60 breaths/min on occasion. (Asthma/COPD)She had an injection of steroids and oral dosing during allergy/pollen/dusty hay season. Advised more time outdoors for fresh air. She got a carport with sprinklers and is doing much better. Dr Dixon took great care and checked in on us before another follow up visit. He is the Best!! Shalom! Joanna

Took my neighbor's dog in for a nail trim. Super nice staff and very professional vet. If my vet is not available for some reason, I trust this vet.
I absolutely love Ard-Vista! They were always extremely careful with my yorkie who had terrible health issues and a collapsed trachea. They saw us through both of my previous girls' passings and were so respectful of them through the process. Dr. Morrison even sent us heartfelt, handwritten card about how special he could tell our little Piper was to us and how sorry he was for our loss. We now have 3 Maltese. Dr. Gessner is our regular vet and he is extremely patient with me and my 1,000 questions as a constantly anxious dog mom. He always takes great care of my dogs and is very careful during procedures. The entire staff is fantastic and Jessica up front is an angel. I can not say enough good things about them.
I did not see Dr Colin's however I did see Dr Amy Pugh who was excellent with my cat. I would highly recommend her and the staff that assisted.
Emergency vet care is expensive, much like emergency human care. Owning a pet comes with financial responsibility of that pet and I don't think it's fair to blame the vet office because you can't pay for something. That being said - we received compassionate (and extremely costly) care from this hospital and if we have another emergency we will use them again.
Have been taking my 2 canines to Dr. Schill & Dr. Hoffman for many years. One of my canines crossed The Rainbow Bridge on 6/23. The whole staff including Dr. Schill could not have been more compassionate with lots of hugs & tears....an awesome staff who is extremely helpful & knowledgeable. I wouldn't take my canines to any other vet office.

Love Dr Mitchell and she takes time to answer all my questions since I haven’t had a puppy in years. She doesn’t make me feel like any of my questions are dumb. I have the hardest time getting my dogs nails clipped/trimmed, and they do the best job at it. Plus my dog comes back after a great bath, smelling great!
Moose had an amazing experience! They were patient, caring, and truly took the time to make my dog feel comfortable. I was so impressed with Fur. My Coco had me worried he had bit another groomer, and I was going to Medicate him. They agreed to give him a chance. I was shock to receive a text of him on someone arms, and being a good boy. I was shock, and great full I found an awesome groomer. Cost was affordable as I am retired. Very pleased. Ruff Housing Country Club is family! My pup is 2yrs old and been going since he was about 5 months old. He is so excited to go to school each day and loves everyone there. They treat him as their own. Not only can you see it in him, but all the other pups that come through the door. RHCC was one of the best decisions I have made for my pup!
I miss taking yoga classes with Kristen. She brings all aspects of yoga into her classes and trainings. If it weren't for her I'd probably still think yoga was all about poses and stretches. It goes so much deeper than that and she is a wealth of knowledge when it comes to the history of the practice. Definitely recommend her classes and teacher training. She will leave an everlasting impression on your practice and your life. ❤️✌️

First visit at Camel City Massage Therapy and I will definitely be back! I have had back pain for over 10 years, and been getting massages at different places for a long time. Todd at Camel City came highly recommended to me, and he did not disappoint. I have so much tension in my low back that when I lay on my stomach I can’t lay flat because of the pain. By the end of the massage, I felt like I had melted into the table. I woke up the next morning with a noticeable lack of pain. Todd is so nice and professional. He listened to my concerns and adjusted the massage accordingly which ended with a great result. The space is also super cozy and clean. I’m looking forward to trying the cupping next time too. You will not regret giving Todd at Camel City Massage Therapy a try!

I received a gift card to Embrace Massage Therapy two years ago. I was so impressed with how personable Lisa was, two years later I am still going monthly for massages. Embrace is owned by two sisters. You’re not treated as a number like the big corporation massage places. They are vested in their business and clients. It shows from the moment you walk in the door. I have been going to Emily for years for therapeutic massage and it has literally saved my body and enabled me to continue to do my very physical job. She is truly gifted and so warm and sweet.
I recently went to my first sound bath experience with Emily, and it was an amazing and soul lifting experience as well. She allows space for your experience by having you set your intentions, pick a crystal that speaks to you, and envelopes you in love and peace. I cannot say enough positive things about her and EBB as a whole. We are lucky to have them as part of our healing community!

I have been a patient of Boyd for six months. I had heard great things from a personal friend and after exhausting other avenue I was ready to try acupuncture. My experience has been the extremely positive and I am seeing great results. Boyd is a natural healer, with very pure intentions. He is logical, intuitive and truly cares about his patients. With my multitude of sensitivities I was not very hopeful and somewhat skeptical but he has changed my perspective on all of this. My stomach feels better, my hormones are more balanced and my anxiety is more controlled. He is very non-judgmental, kind and really takes the time to listen, each and every session.
