“We boarded our two saint bernards, one being 130lbs and one at 190lbs, and a 13 year old cat here for 4 nights over the thanksgiving holiday. We are new to the area and were hesitant to board at a new facility as my dog has a lot of medications having lupus and my other pup is very timid and takes things slow. I am now home with all my babies and I am so happy and relieved everything went well and the staff went above and beyond with hand feeding my timid boy when he was nervous and following his lead with reading his body language. My pup smells so nice and clean from his bath and I am thankful my babies were all taken care of. Thank you all so much!“

“I had a great experience here. I'm from Los Angeles have been coming to Winston-Salem for a few weeks over the last year. This time I brought my 8 month old Pomeranian with me. I was able to get a same day appt at the VCA to have my puppy seen for cold/allergies. Dr. Groneck was really wonderful. He spent a lot of time with us going over medical history, vaccines, the issue itself and answered a bunch of my other questions. He didn't sell us on any unnecessary procedures or products. I wish he was my DR at the VCA in LA!“

“Linda's pet haven is wonderful and has A+ customer service. They always listen to my preferences and refer back to my dog's profile for every groom which is imperative per my allergies. They have an express groom option for faster drop off and pick up windows which I opt for with my dog since she is anxious (this does cost extra) but they are very transparent with pricing and happy to answer and questions. I've used them for years and highly recommend their services.“

“No pics but I needed to give this place a review because I have two dogs that I have to board on the regular. Both my dogs hated all the places we have used in the past and I mistakenly thought it was because they didn't like being boarded. They would literally put the brakes on and start whining when I would try to get them in the door anywhere else. I admittedly made fun of "fancy" boarding places in the past but after having happy dogs for drop off and pick up, I am a convert. My bigger dog, Chester LOVES going to RuffHousing because he loves ppl and other dogs, and he gets playtime daily with every stay. Levi, my little grumpy old fella, does not like other dogs and tolerates ppl....even he will happily go in the door at RuffHousing. Something not seen in all of his 15 years! If you have multiple dogs they will allow them to stay together. Staff is helpful and friendly and the facility is clean too. Anyway, it's expensive but I feel better leaving them here and that's worth the extra money to have that peace of mind.“

“Ruff Housing was recommended by a friend. While I was in Winston-Salem to visit my aunt, my dog needed some playtime. Both of us were really happy with her time there. I bought a package of visits because we will be back again.“
