From the very beginning the FCI was super helpful! This is not a space I’m very familiar with but I loved their approach to how they handle business! I am in sales myself and at no point did I feel pressured by their project manager to go one route or another - they simply laid out the situation in terms I could better understand and allowed me the space to decide on my own what route to take.
Now let’s talk about the work itself - I had a somewhat complicated project I needed assistance with and they sent their tech Melvin to complete the project at my house. From the very beginning he was incredibly professional and did an incredible job restoring my carpet back to its original shape. It literally looks brand new.

The crew was efficient and professional with attic cleaning, insulation work, air duct related service, and rodent proofing. They did a great job clearing out attic spaces packed with debris and worn insulation, which can often attract rats and mice and affect indoor air quality. I would highly recommend Gregory for any plumbing service. As a newer homeowner, I had never handled a leak issue before, and he made the whole process easy to understand. Before even arriving, Gregory spent plenty of time on the phone listening to my concerns, helping troubleshoot the problem, and explaining step by step how he would track down the leak and repair it. That extra time gave me real peace of mind and made me feel confident the plumbing job would be done the right way. We had water coming into our home because the weep holes on a window ac were plugged. The water went down the wall and was dripping from my family room ceiling onto the wood floor. A friend knew Brandon at Best Option Restoration. He called for me and Brandon was here right away. He used 6 fans and an industrial dehumidifier to get my ceiling/drywall dried out. Brandon was respectful of my house, and myself. He described everything so that I knew exactly how the process would work. Valerie at Sticks & Stones did such a great job with my son’s haircut. We had gone somewhere else first and it just was not what he wanted, but she fixed it and made it look so much better. I had the most beautiful custom airbrush tan done by Vic at Total Tan! From start to finish, the experience was professional, comfortable, and truly personalized. Vic took so much care to make sure the color was flawless and even — especially in those tricky areas like hands and feet that so many places miss. The tan looked natural, smooth, and absolutely streak-free.

Rachel was fantastic! She analyzed my scalp, then took me to a private quiet room, where I received the best head massage ever! She washed my hair and gently scrubbed my scalp with an exfoliating brush, that was so soothing. I also opted for the facial, so that the experience was even better. Well, I looked in the mirror and realized my back needed some attention, i.e. wax the bax! So, I did some Googling and this place popped up. There was an appointment available in an hour with Lanie. Turns out she knew my daughter and we had a great conversation as she ripped the unwanted growth from my back. Pain? Waxing is never pleasant but Lanie did an excellent job and was very thorough. Compared to past waxes, this was the least painful I’ve ever had. I would highly recommend Lanie at Beauty Brands in Liberty/KC!

During my hair and makeup trial, the stylists were great at asking questions about what I liked and didn't like to nail down my dream look. The absolute best place to get your ink. His work heals super fast, he doesn't drill into your skin (IYKYK) and you get the whole experience. He's got multiple awards on the walls and a ton of cool stuff to look at while you're getting inked. Super laid back and amazing work. He takes my ideas and makes it into an amazing tattoo. The only place I'll go now. Make sure to make an appointment!! He stays booked up so don't expect to just drop yourself off at his doorstep and get right in. It's on the backside of the building on the lower level, a little weird to navigate but honestly a little common sense goes a long way here. I let him know when I'm there (usually about 5-10 mins before my appointment time) and he comes right out and we get started right away! Don't forget to check out his comic shop on the way out. Really cool stuff.

Tristen arrived early and was very meticulous on all our carpets, rugs, and upholstery. My third job and Totta has done first rate work each time. I’ve worked with several crews and individuals. I think the Comoany has a great skill identifying competent and very responsible employees. In this case I worked (after proposal was accepted) with Damian. He explained everything we asked about, worked efficiently and took it upon himself to come in on a Saturday morning to do a last step on the job then rather than wait until the Tuesday after Memorial Day, which we highly appreciated. In the end the color and finish perfectly matched the previous work Totta had done in our home .
From the very beginning the FCI was super helpful! This is not a space I’m very familiar with but I loved their approach to how they handle business! I am in sales myself and at no point did I feel pressured by their project manager to go one route or another - they simply laid out the situation in terms I could better understand and allowed me the space to decide on my own what route to take.
Now let’s talk about the work itself - I had a somewhat complicated project I needed assistance with and they sent their tech Melvin to complete the project at my house. From the very beginning he was incredibly professional and did an incredible job restoring my carpet back to its original shape. It literally looks brand new.

This was our 3rd experience with Schloegel Design & Remodel. My sister has used them for 2 bath remodels in the past and was very satisfied, so we chose them for a conversion of a pantry to a partial laundry room. I had been dealing with a muddy crawlspace and a soggy backyard, since it's basically just a hill that directs all the rain towards my house, so I looked into several drainage companies around Kansas City to find a solution. They had a 2-man crew come out and do the grading, bury down spouts and install a French drain along my backyard with a daylight exit in the front. My home is built on a pretty flat landscape, so when it rains I sometimes get water in my basement. Scott suggested window Wells to allow enough height to build up the landscape. He also put gutter draining systems in to shed water beyond the sloping ground. His team showed up a day early to avoid a rain storm forecast for the next day. The rain storm dumped 2 1/2 inches on me, and there was no water in my basement. They were amazing!! They were friendly and worked very hard to get it done all in one day.

After a lot of different bids, offers and consideration for a deck renovation, we decided to go with Kansas City Hardscapes and we couldn’t have picked a better company. Our new deck is spectacular. Brandon at Training Trees has a vast knowledge of trees. Being an arborist it is what I would expect. Instead of coming in and trimming trees that would be damaged during the summer months, he suggested and I agreed to wait until the weather was much cooler to do the work. Saving the tree stress yet removing limbs that would allow wild life to get onto the rook of my house. His crew was very efficient and removed all signs of the tree removal from the property. Tree removal is not easy yet I feel the services provided were very good and the price charged was very fair and competitive.

We had a very large tree between our house and our neighbor's house—one of the other companies that gave us a bid said it was the largest Silver Maple he had ever seen. Omar gave us a great price for the removal, and his crew did an outstanding job.
They showed up with a full crew of at least 10 people, and everyone worked hard from start to finish. It was a challenging job, and some of the team was there for more than 12 hours to get it done safely. They also ground the stump and did an excellent job cleaning up afterward. By the time they left, our yard was clean.
If you need a tree removed, especially a difficult one, I would definitely recommend Omar and his team.

Always very professional and nice staffing. My cat Wally, had an abcess that healed and then returned. They explained everything in detail and sent pain meds and the cone of shame, which he wore for a few weeks.
On another occasion I had to euthanize my dog, Pocahontas, and had a quiet room for us. We stayed for awhile and said goodbye and were never disturbed.

I've been using them as my vet for years. My senior dog Mac went through health issues and Dr Epstein and his staff took excellent care not only to Mac but providing me and taking the time to walk through next steps, costs and potential outcomes. When it was time to let Mac go, Dr. Epstein and his staff took amazing care to both Mac and I and allowed me to take as much time as I needed to mourn. I am forever grateful for their service.
We absolutely love, Dr. Epstein, Damon and unfortunately, I don’t remember his name, but the kid with the glasses that works at the front desk as well. We started going to him back during the solar eclipse when we needed our dogs boarded and have been going to him ever since. I went to the vet school for a few years and had to drop out so I’m very picky and who I bring my animals too, but there’s not enough words in the dictionary to describe how much I love this vet! We have two dogs and three cats and Monday, December 15, 2025. We had to put down our 15-year-old ciao retriever mix who had a tumor and severe hip dysplasia and last year Dr. Epstein tried to remove the tumor, but my dog went into respiratory distress and it couldn’t be done. So for the past year, he kept him comfortable on medication, checking his blood work and stuff often and just maintaining the quality of life that he had left. Monday after hard consideration, we decided to bring him in and have him put down and Dr. Epstein and the kid with glasses pretty much waited until the clinic cleared out, and we were there by ourselves and not only did he give us one on one attention but they were so sweet and that’s what I like the most about him as he’s not gonna feed you a line of crap he’s realistic with expectations and what normal people can afford for their pets. once the clinic closed Monday, he let us lay with our dog for as long as we wanted and told us we could have as long as we wanted, and if Jeremy and I waited until midnight to leave our dog, I know that would’ve been OK like I said, he’s very compassionate. I appreciate him and everything he’s ever done everything he’s ever told us has been correct and I have the most respect for him. I will not bring any of my animals to anybody but him so I hope he’s around for a long time.
His prices are extremely reasonable as well I mean, unfortunately some places are all about profit, but you can really tell that this guy actually cares about your animal and he cares about what you think is pet parents. You definitely should go check him out. I guarantee you’ll fall in love with these guys like we did so thank you guys for helping with Kodiak on Monday because that was the hardest decision we ever had to make, but I know you made his passing so much more better than it would’ve been anywhere else. I thank you for that deeply!!!!!

InBliss Yoga is a inclusive and refreshing yoga experience for beginners and seasoned practitioners alike. They offer different levels 6 days a week to suit just about anyone's needs. My favorite is rest and restore with Chris on Fridays. It is the best thing I do for my own self-care apart from therapy. Cannot rave about them enough!
The space is this gorgeous loft above a garage! When you pull up, you see a sign, “Gardens of Delight.” You can park anywhere outside of the detached garage, and then enter. The studio is up the stairs. She has built such a great community of students, you can tell they are super loyal and tight knit. They got excited to see us newcomers and asked what our names were. Lynn was so welcoming and asked the class what we wanted to focus on. We said shoulders and I floated out of class with lighter shoulders. This is not your big franchise kind of studio, this is a place if you’re looking for a community and more individual attention!
I had a massage with Taylor last week and it was fantastic. She was so thorough and made me feel completely comfortable before, during, and after (which isn’t always easy when you’re a bare human pretzel on a table). Overall she was incredibly kind and gave the best massage. 10/10, already told a friend.
I had a spinal fusion when I was 12. As a result, my entire spine is supported by hardware and I have a lot of physical restriction. I’ve tried yoga a couple times in the past but ended up feeling judged for my inability to carry out certain poses that seem to come easily for others.
Fast forward to today. I went to Raven’s class with some coworkers for team bonding. The space itself was cozy and inviting - nothing like the other studios I’ve visited. When I opted for child’s pose rather than downward dog, I was met with gentle affirmation from Raven: “I’m loving these modifications.” She fostered an environment where I felt comfortable to explore yoga in a way that felt safe for my body. She also offered lots of suggestions for modifications, which I appreciated.
I had a spiritual experience today, some sort of release or something. As someone with immense chronic pain and frustration about my disability, I had a moment of deep gratitude for all of the things that my body is still capable of. For the first time in too long, I felt so at home in my body. I cried during practice which is not my norm.
All this to say, if you’ve been thinking about dipping your toes in the water, True Love is the place to go. It is such a special spot, and I absolutely cannot wait to return. To Raven - your love for this art was felt today. Thank you so much for having me.
I have been taking classes at Inner Space for two years. From the moment you walk in, you can feel the energy...it’s warm, welcoming, and radiates peace. The space itself is absolutely beautiful, and it really feels like a sacred place to move, breathe, and reconnect.
The classes are amazing. There is such a great variety, and every teacher I’ve met is so genuine and really knows their craft. I go weekly for Tai Chi/Qi Gong and have also tried 5Rhythms, Kung Fu, and sound baths. Every single one has been a wonderful experience.
Honestly, I’d take every class they offer and go every day if I could. I love this place so much; it's a gem in KC.

I would like very much to share the amazing experience(s) I have had as a client of Barbara while taking her classes since October, 2021.This is my second experience with following a class in Yoga since last taking a class at the YMCA in NKC about three years ago. I think what makes this time around exceptional is the ability to do classes remotely (saving time), but more so the extraordinary opportunity to have discovered classes offered by such an enthusiastic and motivated Yogi as Barbara Anderson. Barbara’s experience, knowledge, skill, energy, and unmatched personality makes this second experience an unparalleled discovery.Since having stopped following classes with my first experience with Yoga classes, I have had challenges with lower back pain at times that I have encountered while working on various home projects as well as while sleeping at night, in addition to planar fasciitis resulting from walking extensively several times a week with old shoes.A visit to a physical therapist was helpful with recommendations for doing stretching exercises before walking. But he also advised me of the need to perform varied types of physical movements in a balanced manner to avoid over use of muscles, ligaments and tendons using only one type of movement. This was the reason I had decided to return to Yoga once again.Barbara's classes (Yoga and Awareness Through Movement) are the reason I find myself more readily able to move into late winter and early spring projects without pre-conditioning, as well as being able to sleep at night without needing to wear a back brace. I have been able to do this while following five to six classes a week with Barbara. It is proof beyond doubt that regular and balanced movement can have a significant impact on your quality of life no matter the age of an individual.As Barbara often says, “Reach, reach, reach!”, and “Reach for the ceiling!”Thanks for the experience.

I was in town for a couple of days and, as a STOTT Pilates instructor from the East Coast, I was hoping to find a studio that offered a high-quality reformer session. Pilates 1901 exceeded my expectations. The studio was clean, calm, quiet, and welcoming — exactly the kind of environment you want for focused movement.
My instructor, Chloe, was wonderful. She gave me a thoughtful, challenging, and well-cued reformer session that felt both intelligent and restorative. I really appreciated her attention to form, flow, and detail. It’s always such a pleasure to take a session with someone who clearly understands the work and teaches with care.

I went in for my first massage in a very long time, not really knowing what to expect, and Shauna immediately made me feel comfortable and at ease. The whole space has a great, calming energy without anything feeling overly complicated or forced.
What stood out most was how genuinely cared for I felt. Shauna listened to what was bothering me, paid attention to what my body was telling her, and seemed truly invested in helping me feel better. There was no sales pitch, no pressure, and no feeling like she was just going through the motions. She even incorporated different techniques as she found areas that needed extra attention.

If you need real bodywork Cam is the man! After researching local massage therapists to help with my severe TMJ, all roads pointed to Cameron and for good reason. I’ve been a client of this studio for years now and have always had a great experience. I’ve had massages with both Amalia and Wren recently and both of them are fantastic at deep tissue sessions. I’ve had muscle tightness in my low back and hips persistently and coming here always helps me decompress. Highly recommend!

Wow, this was incredible! I got a 30min Swedish massage and the head spa experience. Both were amazing. That was the best massage I’ve ever had (and I’m pretty picky). And the head spa experience was amazing too. I have fine hair and was worried about pulling cause my head is tender. Tina was so tender when brushing through my hair and the entire experience was heavenly. I will be back for sure!!
This was hands down one of the best massages I've ever had! Kosha was so sweet and created such a peaceful environment. It was my first time doing cupping and I was pleasantly surprised! I will definitely be going back!

I visited Jason at Vital Six for the first time with some worrisome pain in my achilles. It was bad enough that, 6-weeks out from my race, I stopped running entirely. Within the first visit, Jason had identified a cause that was a surprise to me and his counsel helped me feel much more confident about how to proceed and get back to training. By the second visit, and after sticking with the plan we outlined, I was already seeing a ton of improvement. This was a tricky issue I would have never figured out myself but Jason did his magic and had me sorted in time for the race. I PR'd that race and even came back to see Jason for another unrelated issue after that... which of course he helped resolve just as quickly as before.
Jason is a PT savant. If you're looking to have the source of your issue addressed by someone who cares deeply about getting it right, Vital Six is the place you need to be.

I have been going to Chris for two months following a major surgery, he has been such a joy to work with. I feel very safe under his care because of his understanding of western and eastern medicine. Sue is a wonderful knowledgeable acupuncturist. She has helped to heal an old injury that at times would become debilitating. The pain I was experiencing has greatly decreased by 95% and I am more mobile without pain.
