I have been doing HRT for a couple months now. I can totally feel the changes. Best prices around. I called about 10 HRT clinics and this was the best one. Staff is always so nice and easy to talk with. I can always get in when I need to.
I was apprehensive as we took my brother to his first appointment with Emily Milburn. He had recently had a stroke and was in the care of myself and my husband. As soon as she entered the room, we were put to ease. Ms. Milburn is a very caring, kind and empathetic woman. She gave us quite a bit of information regarding my brothers condition and what we could expect in the future. All of our questions were answered and it was obvious that she is very knowledgeable. I would encourage anyone who is searching for a primary care giver to see Ms. Milburn.
I have had 2 great encounters with dr. Rist ad katlyn i think was the practitioner name. I changed to her because of my previous dr decided to retire but this group i really like very good
Technician Codie did an excellent job repairing door at my elderly parents home. I actually received service the same day I called! Work was thorough and done quickly with no hassle or issues. I'd definitely recommend!
Tracee is the best! I discovered this shop over 10 years ago when I was in school and I've never been disappointed. Bring a picture of what kind of haircut you want and Tracee will do it--while also taking into account your face shape, how much time you want to spend on maintenance, if you need to use products, how it will look when it grows out, etc.

Went to Hope for a session of the noninvasive BBL & I loved her techniques!! I seen results after the first appointment and loved the final results. My appointments were always painless and she took her time making sure to make the most out of every session. It’s been a month since I last seen her and still see results. Been planning on going back to get some more work done soon! Highly recommend her services!!!

If you need deep tissue work, this is the best place in the KC area to go. All of f the chiropractors there do great work.

Had a presentable filling done (tbh not great albeit free) by a UMKC dental school student when I was a young broke college student in the national guard without coverage that popped out while flossing and my first visit was a couple of days ago to have the filling redone and I am dead serious when I say that the work done is an A+ 100% 5 star rating and Dr. Klein does amazing work

I just cannot say enough good things about this place. Today was my very first time here, I didn't have an appointment and they were able to get both my daughter and myself in. The space is 100% designed for keeping kiddos comfortable and engaged while their hair is cut. I believe it was Halle that cut our hair today and she was amazing. We got to meet the owner as well Kenna, and they were both over the top amazing, went out of their way to make my daughter feel special on her birthday and first hair cut. I will continue to come here and tell everyone I know to bring their kids here too!

Experience beauty bar was one of the greatest Experiences I've had visiting a hair salon. Shawnte was perfessional, kind, and light on my head. During the braiding process I could barley feel the tension of her braiding my hair. This takes absolute skill. When she was done, My head did not hurt but my braids were set at a perfection. She will be my braider for here on out. Once you find a good braider you keep them. Writing this post the next day, my head still dont hurt. Thank Shawnte for your service

It’s a little on the pricier side but the quality is worth every penny. They opened up the new shop and I was super happy to get back in because they’re the best in the city in my opinion.
I had never experienced a barbershop before coming into Ace. I had my haircut and beard cleaned up by Caleb and was blown away. Caleb was extremely personable and easy to talk with, while doing an exceptional job on my hair and beard. The atmosphere they have created allows you to relax and let your outside stresses fade away for the time being. I'm hooked!

Falah is the goat, he's a master of his craft. I've been getting cuts from him for over there years now. I moved out of downtown but still drive into the city for the best cut in town. He's the first barber to understand what I wanted from my hair and beard, and he kills it every time. Atmosphere is out of this world, he's a great conversationalist as well. Highly recommend.

I get my hair cut from khalif me and my son's go to him and he does an awesome job I really like the atmosphere environment they're about the business but he did a great job cutting my kids hair and my hair I just love my experience there I love my barber khalif if you ever get a chance take your kids there it's a great place to get your haircut you enjoy your experience

I had the most beautiful custom airbrush tan done by Vic at Total Tan! From start to finish, the experience was professional, comfortable, and truly personalized. Vic took so much care to make sure the color was flawless and even — especially in those tricky areas like hands and feet that so many places miss. The tan looked natural, smooth, and absolutely streak-free.

She is an expert in blonde color and always knows exactly what to do to make my hair look bright and beautiful. I always leave the salon feeling confident, but aftergetting extensions put in before my wedding I have never felt more amazing. She blended them perfectly into my natural hair and chose a color that was flawless. Hanna is extremely knowledgeable and answers all of my questions about how to properly care for my color and extensions. Bella Bar is top notch. She has 2 cozy locations, no extra employees to make you feel uncomfortable, lots of great products she doesn’t push on you and she does an amazing job. A 10 minute Brazilian!! No one wants that to take forever. She also keeps me super distracted with excellent conversation. Just like a dear friend ripping out your hair ? she offers so many services. I have considered trying others but I’m so low maintenance I can’t get myself to do it. But someday I’ll let her primp up better. She has a very cute business, products and services but the biggest selling point to do any of it is Nicole herself. She has a beautiful personality and a heart to stand up for women/clients. Well, I looked in the mirror and realized my back needed some attention, i.e. wax the bax! So, I did some Googling and this place popped up. There was an appointment available in an hour with Lanie. Turns out she knew my daughter and we had a great conversation as she ripped the unwanted growth from my back. Pain? Waxing is never pleasant but Lanie did an excellent job and was very thorough. Compared to past waxes, this was the least painful I’ve ever had. I would highly recommend Lanie at Beauty Brands in Liberty/KC!

Got spray tan for me and my bridesmaids for my wedding and none of us were disappointed! Everyone’s colour was fantastic and didn’t smudge after showering. My tan lasted almost a week. Chloe gave great advice or prep before our tan and care after. She was so accommodating for us all having different schedules and having to change around appointments. Cannot recommend enough. My lashes were thinning and I also damaged them with an eyelash curler. Ashley did a test run the week prior as I was nervous to try extensions having overly sensitive skin. She got me right in for an appointment then did a phenomenal job making my lashes look natural! She took her time and went over care with me while also making sure to answer my questions. I booked the June package with a 60 minute massage (including hot stones) and 30 minutes of foot reflexology. Joe was AMAZING. I am convinced he is made of magic. From the individualized choices for your massage, to the care showed by the staff for their patrons (including limiting sound and clean shoe protocol for the therapeutic spaces), to the special touch of a sweet treat to greet you as you re-enter the real world.

No sales pressure whatsoever, but I wanted to know about some of the products afterward. I turned 50 this year and am getting serious about taking better care of my skin. I used Paradise Beauty for bridal hair, makeup, and spray tan! They did an incredible job on all. During my hair and makeup trial, the stylists were great at asking questions about what I liked and didn't like to nail down my dream look. My mom and all of my bridesmaids used them for hair and makeup and loved their styles as well! I think this place is well worth the money that you spend!

Had such a great experience, from the design process to the aftercare. Emily worked very hard to keep the whole process as painless as possible (a tough feat given you’re being stabbed with tiny needles, lol). I love my tattoo, and loved the great conversation, four hours of tattooing flew by!

We recently had Lance from Mike Hagen Electric replace the wired in smoke detectors in our home and we were very impressed with the service we received. We got on the schedule quickly and the work was completed quickly and efficiently and we felt the cost was extremely reasonable. We have a really difficult placement for one of our detectors and Lance figured out a way to get to to it, which we greatly appreciated! We really felt like he went above and beyond. My third job and Totta has done first rate work each time. I’ve worked with several crews and individuals. I think the Comoany has a great skill identifying competent and very responsible employees. In this case I worked (after proposal was accepted) with Damian. He explained everything we asked about, worked efficiently and took it upon himself to come in on a Saturday morning to do a last step on the job then rather than wait until the Tuesday after Memorial Day, which we highly appreciated. In the end the color and finish perfectly matched the previous work Totta had done in our home .

Atlantis has now completed underground extended drains from my gutters. I first used ADS in 2014 to extend one downspout and a foundation drain. They just finished their 6th extension that will move all roof drains out into my yard. Highly recommend ADS for all you home drainage needs. While I have never had any water in my basement this is additional work that moves the water further away from the home.

My home is built on a pretty flat landscape, so when it rains I sometimes get water in my basement. Scott suggested window Wells to allow enough height to build up the landscape. He also put gutter draining systems in to shed water beyond the sloping ground. His team showed up a day early to avoid a rain storm forecast for the next day. The rain storm dumped 2 1/2 inches on me, and there was no water in my basement. They were amazing!! They were friendly and worked very hard to get it done all in one day.

We had a fantastic experience with KC Hardscapes on our recent backyard project. They installed a beautiful new patio with a sitting wall, a pergola, and a separate pergola for our hammock, and the final result looks amazing.
Kit was great to work with throughout the entire process. The design phase was smooth, communication was excellent, and the crew was a pleasure to have around each day. One thing we really appreciated was that they do almost all of the work themselves — from demo to concrete to the wood structures — rather than subcontracting everything out (other than electrical).

Brandon at Training Trees has a vast knowledge of trees. Being an arborist it is what I would expect. Instead of coming in and trimming trees that would be damaged during the summer months, he suggested and I agreed to wait until the weather was much cooler to do the work. Saving the tree stress yet removing limbs that would allow wild life to get onto the rook of my house. His crew was very efficient and removed all signs of the tree removal from the property. Tree removal is not easy yet I feel the services provided were very good and the price charged was very fair and competitive.

Always very professional and nice staffing. My cat Wally, had an abcess that healed and then returned. They explained everything in detail and sent pain meds and the cone of shame, which he wore for a few weeks.
On another occasion I had to euthanize my dog, Pocahontas, and had a quiet room for us. We stayed for awhile and said goodbye and were never disturbed.

I've been using them as my vet for years. My senior dog Mac went through health issues and Dr Epstein and his staff took excellent care not only to Mac but providing me and taking the time to walk through next steps, costs and potential outcomes. When it was time to let Mac go, Dr. Epstein and his staff took amazing care to both Mac and I and allowed me to take as much time as I needed to mourn. I am forever grateful for their service.
We absolutely love, Dr. Epstein, Damon and unfortunately, I don’t remember his name, but the kid with the glasses that works at the front desk as well. We started going to him back during the solar eclipse when we needed our dogs boarded and have been going to him ever since. I went to the vet school for a few years and had to drop out so I’m very picky and who I bring my animals too, but there’s not enough words in the dictionary to describe how much I love this vet! We have two dogs and three cats and Monday, December 15, 2025. We had to put down our 15-year-old ciao retriever mix who had a tumor and severe hip dysplasia and last year Dr. Epstein tried to remove the tumor, but my dog went into respiratory distress and it couldn’t be done. So for the past year, he kept him comfortable on medication, checking his blood work and stuff often and just maintaining the quality of life that he had left. Monday after hard consideration, we decided to bring him in and have him put down and Dr. Epstein and the kid with glasses pretty much waited until the clinic cleared out, and we were there by ourselves and not only did he give us one on one attention but they were so sweet and that’s what I like the most about him as he’s not gonna feed you a line of crap he’s realistic with expectations and what normal people can afford for their pets. once the clinic closed Monday, he let us lay with our dog for as long as we wanted and told us we could have as long as we wanted, and if Jeremy and I waited until midnight to leave our dog, I know that would’ve been OK like I said, he’s very compassionate. I appreciate him and everything he’s ever done everything he’s ever told us has been correct and I have the most respect for him. I will not bring any of my animals to anybody but him so I hope he’s around for a long time.
His prices are extremely reasonable as well I mean, unfortunately some places are all about profit, but you can really tell that this guy actually cares about your animal and he cares about what you think is pet parents. You definitely should go check him out. I guarantee you’ll fall in love with these guys like we did so thank you guys for helping with Kodiak on Monday because that was the hardest decision we ever had to make, but I know you made his passing so much more better than it would’ve been anywhere else. I thank you for that deeply!!!!!

InBliss Yoga is a inclusive and refreshing yoga experience for beginners and seasoned practitioners alike. They offer different levels 6 days a week to suit just about anyone's needs. My favorite is rest and restore with Chris on Fridays. It is the best thing I do for my own self-care apart from therapy. Cannot rave about them enough!
The space is this gorgeous loft above a garage! When you pull up, you see a sign, “Gardens of Delight.” You can park anywhere outside of the detached garage, and then enter. The studio is up the stairs. She has built such a great community of students, you can tell they are super loyal and tight knit. They got excited to see us newcomers and asked what our names were. Lynn was so welcoming and asked the class what we wanted to focus on. We said shoulders and I floated out of class with lighter shoulders. This is not your big franchise kind of studio, this is a place if you’re looking for a community and more individual attention!
I had a massage with Taylor last week and it was fantastic. She was so thorough and made me feel completely comfortable before, during, and after (which isn’t always easy when you’re a bare human pretzel on a table). Overall she was incredibly kind and gave the best massage. 10/10, already told a friend.
I had a spinal fusion when I was 12. As a result, my entire spine is supported by hardware and I have a lot of physical restriction. I’ve tried yoga a couple times in the past but ended up feeling judged for my inability to carry out certain poses that seem to come easily for others.
Fast forward to today. I went to Raven’s class with some coworkers for team bonding. The space itself was cozy and inviting - nothing like the other studios I’ve visited. When I opted for child’s pose rather than downward dog, I was met with gentle affirmation from Raven: “I’m loving these modifications.” She fostered an environment where I felt comfortable to explore yoga in a way that felt safe for my body. She also offered lots of suggestions for modifications, which I appreciated.
I had a spiritual experience today, some sort of release or something. As someone with immense chronic pain and frustration about my disability, I had a moment of deep gratitude for all of the things that my body is still capable of. For the first time in too long, I felt so at home in my body. I cried during practice which is not my norm.
All this to say, if you’ve been thinking about dipping your toes in the water, True Love is the place to go. It is such a special spot, and I absolutely cannot wait to return. To Raven - your love for this art was felt today. Thank you so much for having me.
I have been taking classes at Inner Space for two years. From the moment you walk in, you can feel the energy...it’s warm, welcoming, and radiates peace. The space itself is absolutely beautiful, and it really feels like a sacred place to move, breathe, and reconnect.
The classes are amazing. There is such a great variety, and every teacher I’ve met is so genuine and really knows their craft. I go weekly for Tai Chi/Qi Gong and have also tried 5Rhythms, Kung Fu, and sound baths. Every single one has been a wonderful experience.
Honestly, I’d take every class they offer and go every day if I could. I love this place so much; it's a gem in KC.

I would like very much to share the amazing experience(s) I have had as a client of Barbara while taking her classes since October, 2021.This is my second experience with following a class in Yoga since last taking a class at the YMCA in NKC about three years ago. I think what makes this time around exceptional is the ability to do classes remotely (saving time), but more so the extraordinary opportunity to have discovered classes offered by such an enthusiastic and motivated Yogi as Barbara Anderson. Barbara’s experience, knowledge, skill, energy, and unmatched personality makes this second experience an unparalleled discovery.Since having stopped following classes with my first experience with Yoga classes, I have had challenges with lower back pain at times that I have encountered while working on various home projects as well as while sleeping at night, in addition to planar fasciitis resulting from walking extensively several times a week with old shoes.A visit to a physical therapist was helpful with recommendations for doing stretching exercises before walking. But he also advised me of the need to perform varied types of physical movements in a balanced manner to avoid over use of muscles, ligaments and tendons using only one type of movement. This was the reason I had decided to return to Yoga once again.Barbara's classes (Yoga and Awareness Through Movement) are the reason I find myself more readily able to move into late winter and early spring projects without pre-conditioning, as well as being able to sleep at night without needing to wear a back brace. I have been able to do this while following five to six classes a week with Barbara. It is proof beyond doubt that regular and balanced movement can have a significant impact on your quality of life no matter the age of an individual.As Barbara often says, “Reach, reach, reach!”, and “Reach for the ceiling!”Thanks for the experience.

I was in town for a couple of days and, as a STOTT Pilates instructor from the East Coast, I was hoping to find a studio that offered a high-quality reformer session. Pilates 1901 exceeded my expectations. The studio was clean, calm, quiet, and welcoming — exactly the kind of environment you want for focused movement.
My instructor, Chloe, was wonderful. She gave me a thoughtful, challenging, and well-cued reformer session that felt both intelligent and restorative. I really appreciated her attention to form, flow, and detail. It’s always such a pleasure to take a session with someone who clearly understands the work and teaches with care.

I visited Jason at Vital Six for the first time with some worrisome pain in my achilles. It was bad enough that, 6-weeks out from my race, I stopped running entirely. Within the first visit, Jason had identified a cause that was a surprise to me and his counsel helped me feel much more confident about how to proceed and get back to training. By the second visit, and after sticking with the plan we outlined, I was already seeing a ton of improvement. This was a tricky issue I would have never figured out myself but Jason did his magic and had me sorted in time for the race. I PR'd that race and even came back to see Jason for another unrelated issue after that... which of course he helped resolve just as quickly as before.
Jason is a PT savant. If you're looking to have the source of your issue addressed by someone who cares deeply about getting it right, Vital Six is the place you need to be.
