I have been getting massages from Traci for a year now. I have some both table/Swedish and Thai massage, as well as her sound healing. The sound healing was the most relaxing thing I’ve ever done in my life. And the Thai massage is incredible. I had Thai massage in Thailand and was never able to find one in the states that was worth going to twice, but I go to Traci every month. She is the real deal.

We had an excellent experience at Laughs and Locks! Kenna was warm and welcoming. My daughter (3 years old) is always a little slow to warm up to new places and people. Kenna was patient and took the time to help her get more comfortable. She was able to pick out her desired car chair and show on tv. They had several subscription services so she was able to select a show that she would enjoy. They also had lots of great toy options to help distract the kiddos. Kenna made sure to ask me before offering things like lollipops or sparkles, which I appreciated. Kenna did an amazing job on my daughter's hair! She has several years of experience with kids cuts (I think she said 7) and clearly loves her job/business. She asked for my thoughts for the cut and then also helped cut her hair certain ways to help decrease knots. At the end of the cut she also offered to braid and add sparkles, which my daughter excited accepted. We drove a long way to get to Laughs and Locks because their reviews were so much better than kids cut places closer to my home. I would gladly take the drive again and highly recommend this locally owned business to anyone in or near the KC area.

My first cut was a great experience. Called at the end of the day and told them I could be there in 20 minutes which was about an hour before they closed. They were busy but the vibe was good. When I arrive, I had to wait about 10 minutes and then I was in the chair. The barber was very professional, good attention to detail and reasonably priced. I am so jazzed I have a new barber!

Best place I've found. If you're tired of getting bad stylists at great clips or sports clips, this is the place to go. They actually care about doing their job well and aren't focused on selling you products. They also do straight razor shaves and if you haven't had one, you should definitely try it. You can schedule your appointment online, and set up recurring appointments with your stylist.

These guys are exceptional. They are old school and keeps it going. It’s really awesome how they are just 2 guys keeping it real. I’ve been going to these guys for my haircuts for years. They’ve not only done exceptionally well on my hair, they also do exceptional on younger and older. The only thing I can say that is interesting, (part of the old school) is that they ask you to bring cash. It’s refreshing to see it that especially nowadays. These guys are amazing. Extremely clean tanning salon. Offering an assortment of beds and spray tanning. The lotions and products they offer are top of the line and are always running specials to make it even more affordable. I personally use the level five bed because it’s very quick 12 minutes and an instant tan. This is a veteran family owned salon, so I highly recommend you doing business there in support of military.
There are normally zero wait times unlike other big salons in the KC metropolitan area. Prices are extremely affordable, especially if you join the VIP member package. The staff there are absolutely incredible and walk you through every step of your process in your Tanning regimen. There are two locations and are both absolutely wonderful. This establishment deserves five stars and more. I’m lucky to have found the salon.

I’ve been coming here off and on to tan since I was in high school (probably about 10 years) and I don’t have a single bad thing to say about this place. The prices are better than anywhere else I’ve found in KC as they almost always have some sort of deal going, the store is always clean, and most importantly the employees are awesome. I always feel welcomed when I step in here. I’ve been other places a few times and it just never feels like I belong there, but when I go to Island Tan I feel right at home!
THE SPRAY TAN IS ABSOLUTELY AMAZING!! LISTEN TO THEM WHEN THEY TELL YOU HOW DARK TO GO. HE STEERED ME EXACTLY TO WHAT I WANTED. I WAS ACTUALLY GOING TO GO HIGHER WHICH WOULD HAVE BEEN TOO HIGH. THE RESULTS ARE STUNNING! A WEEK LATER STILL AMAZING. BOUGHT EVEN MORE, HEADING BACK ASAP. THE SWIMWEAR....I CAN'T EVEN BEGIN TO TELL YOU THE SELECTION. BIG, SMALL, BOY SHORT, FULL, BRAZILIAN, THONG, WHATEVER...THEY HAVE IT.
The ladies here are exceptionally helpful, friendly, professional, considerate, and respectful. I usually do a mystic tan spray booth and have had decent results at a different location, but the spray tan booth at this location blew me away. It's very directive and has an AIR DRY FEATURE that I've never experienced before, and they have so many free spray prep accessories. It does cost a little more than mystic tan, but 100% worth it. I tried the booth on the right side, which was recommended. The ladies were very helpful by answering any questions and to go through the routine. I definitely will be coming back for my spray booth tan here.

For the price we paid the quality definitely showed. They thoroughly cleaned our nail beds and toes. Hanna has been doing my hair since I moved back to Kansas City 5 years ago and is the ONLY person I will ever trust with my hair and extensions. She is an expert in blonde color and always knows exactly what to do to make my hair look bright and beautiful. I always leave the salon feeling confident, but aftergetting extensions put in before my wedding I have never felt more amazing. She blended them perfectly into my natural hair and chose a color that was flawless. Hanna is extremely knowledgeable and answers all of my questions about how to properly care for my color and extensions. If you are looking for someone that knows what they're doing when it comes to extensions and/or blonde color, stop looking because this is your girl!!!

Decided to pamper myself for my birthday and Jasmine and Jill helped!!. Jasmine outdid herself with a microdermabrasion session that left me positively glowing! My husband even remarked how great my skin looked. And Jill! My shoulders were up to my ears in stress and she was able to massage away the pain and stiffness. Already rebooted with them both!

Sean is an amazing hair stylist. He listens to what type of cut you want and offers professional opinion. He is friendly and has great communication skills. I also appreciate that hair cuts take about half of the time as other places!

We called Mike for help with our sprinkler system when we moved into our new home. We were having trouble finding some of the valves and getting the system to turn on and Mike and his team were able to fit us in immediately. They worked around our schedule and our budget. I called Rick Ramsey at Affordable Plumbing and Sewer to scope my sewer line because there are massive trees around our early 1980s neighborhood and several of these homes have experienced sewer line issues. Well, Jeff ran a camera down the line and discovered it had an offset at a joint from tree roots forcing their way in. I knew I needed to fix it before it became worse. The price was right so a few days later, John came with a crew and a backhoe, dug down to the damaged sewer line in close proximity to the locate flags for the buried power lines, replaced the damaged section, refilled and cleaned up the yard in 5 hours. The price was fair and the crew were respectful and skilled. Excellent experience.
You know when gamers throw their control and 'rage quit?' That's what happened to me with an electrical project. I hate that I had to to it, but I called in the professionals at Galvin. They were responsive on Yelp with Request-A-Quote, and while a notch higher than some others, I figured what the hell. They could have someone out same day and the reviews looked great. The tech was later than expected (4-6 p.m. window and arrived closer to 6:30) which wasn't ideal as we had sat down to dinner. Fortunately the job was small and he was quick to handle it. To me it's a lot like calling a plumber; it's going to cost you, but you know it's going to be done right. Galvin seemed professional in how they booked and assigned the electrician. Not every service company can say the same. Hopefully won't need them again, like, ever, but if so I would recommend them and go with them again.

In July, the power line between our house and the pole was knocked down by a tree limb and Mike Hagan Electric was fast, reliable and a very good price compared to other quotes. We were 'lucky' enough to have the new work knocked down by another tree limb in October, on a Thursday. By Friday afternoon Mike Hagan was out and got us back up and powered, coordinated with Evergy took care of everything - also with a reasonable price and fast, quality work. Can't say how grateful we are to them getting to us so quick! True professionals.

Pat was a great salesman and a good dude who legitimately cared about me, and getting a flooring solution that worked for me. I'm new to the Midwest, and am still floored (pun intended) by how genuine and kind everyone here is. Almost went with a competitor, and am glad I didn't. The install team he chose were younger guys that know more about flooring than I could ever know, even if I had a second lifetime, and the time to attempt to learn it. My (fairly large) project was completed in 2 (long and late steadfast effort) days literally perfectly. The LVP flooring came out correctly offset, no whammies whatsoever, completely straight, and 100% flat. They took care (did not leave nails or floor tacks anywhere inside or outside on massive full home carpet removal) and worked through a couple minor issues that were literally my fault. I was also in a situation where I had to let the installers work by themselves in a semi-rural area with all of my belongings out of their way and readily accessible in a garage. They were COMPLETELY trustworthy, and did not damage anything, and treated me as if they knew me. I would go with Weber again without a doubt.

Tony came to our rescue when we had a painter fail to show up on Saturday to paint our garage - after we had spent the better part of 2 days clearing everything out and relocating items to our basement, patio, and house. Lawn mower, weed eater, snow blower, yard equipment, workbench and tools, shelves, etc everywhere (shudder). He came on Sunday morning, looked at the project and gave a very fair bid. He could have gouged us since we were desperate, but he is an ethical business person and didn’t. Tony worked diligently for several hours and did a fine job spraying the walls and ceiling of the garage, patching where needed. He can do so much more than painting, and I would hire him in a heartbeat for future projects.

The overall experience of building with Homoly was a very positive process. All the staff we worked with were very professional and genuinely nice people. The detail cost sharing is very beneficial to keep tabs on your budget. There is full disclosure of where the money is being spent and to whom. The cost plus methodology is very transparent, but can create somewhat of a conflict of interest if you are attempting to manage a tight budget. The selection coordinator role is very beneficial and well worth the investment. Molly and staff are excellent. The key ingredient in the process is the role of the superintendent. Having this detailed, driven member constantly overseeing projects keeps everything on track and issues addressed quickly. I think the dedication to this process in the Homoly process is invaluable. It is also key to have a good working relationship with this member. Wallace is who we worked with through the process and I am sure the project would have been much less successful and less enjoyable without him. The team is very focused on the process and how to improve it along the way. Variations off the standard process will typically need escalation before proceeding. We wished we would have pushed to have senior management involved in the some details subsequent to the sales and cost phases.
We love our new house and the quality of the product and service we received from Homoly. The ongoing follow-up and service from the team and superintendent are outstanding.

I had an amazing experience with the Cridder Ridder Team this morning. My fiancée and I were woken up at 2am to a bat flying around our bedroom. We were able to contain the bat until the Cridder Ridder Team could arrive. I contacted them first thing in the morning and they had us worked into the schedule within the hour. Their employees Shelley and Matt were extremely courteous, timely, and effective in helping us resolve our issue. The experience left us with such a positive perspective that we already set up an inspection for insect services (which had been on my to do list for months). Very familiar with Blue Beetle and their services for commercial properties. They are always thorough, take their time to explain issues within your building/property, their treatments they are performing and are very knowledgeable about your issues. We’ve used Kevin, with KC Mole trapping for 2 years now. The first time back in Oct 21 where he cleared our yard of these destroying critters. This late summer, we’ve had new one move in. They can be super elusive, but Kevin is so long-suffering and persistent in tracking and trapping. These people are fair, honest, friendly, efficient, and honest. The communication that I had with them prior to the project was excellent. I enjoyed watching the crew as they seemed happy, laughed with each other, and was so pleasant as they worked. Ofilio, the boss and owner of the company, was awesome to the crew of 10 men and one woman that arrived here this morning. He got right in and helped them do the dirty work when he could’ve literally set back and just told them what to do! Two trees were removed, and three stumps were ground from my property. One tree was removed from my neighbors property and another trimmed. They cleaned up immaculately, and it appeared as if they had never been here. Their professionalism was top-notch. Their equipment was unbelievable. A stump grinder, a giant chipper, a huge truck with huge jaws that went down and picked up the logs to dispose of them, and two buckets that rose in the air to do the work. One tree in particular had a lot of powerlines, Internet, lines, etc., going through it and it was no problem for them I highly recommend them to anyone, and I am thrilled that there is such a company that exist in Kansas City. Keith gave me one of the best massages that I’ve ever experienced and it was just a pre-warmup. I had a knot in my left shoulder and he was able to knock that out in mins. So I was already less tense before we started the cupping session.
This was my first cupping session and I can’t wait to go back. Very peaceful and calming atmosphere. This was Painless process. Nothing but pure relaxation.

I've gone to Dr. Mike for years but hadn't been for a few months. I haven't been sleeping well and something seemed off with my knee after my husband and I went on a couple fast walks. I realized yesterday after my adjustment that my knee isn't hurting now and I'm sleeping a lot better because my hips don't hurt.
I have been going to Dr Carey for over two years now. Some of the issues I have needed a non-standard chiropractic approach. Have not shared this with Doc yet... But here's a true acupuncture story. Had no real concept, asked, took another 15 minutes. Two quick sessions; a baseline and corrective. I took the 'easier' laser method. Long story short, Doc said ... You may not notice. Many don't. I found something change. For years 5+... I've had blockage after eating right under my sternum. Well... I did. It's been over a week and a problem I've had for years is no longer there. Dr K... I've noticed I owe you a thank you.
Dr. Lyle has been our vet for all our dogs for nearly 20 years. He is an exceptional veterinarian. He is an excellent surgeon and diagnostician. The staff is friendly and the prices for the most part are affordable.
He has been the vet to three of my pets for the last 15 years. A caring person who takes time with you and works with you and your pet through any issues. It's a small office and so they really get to know your pets.

We recently had to make the hardest decision, letting our oldest dog cross the rainbow bridge. Dr Sims and the team made the entire experience peaceful for us and our girl.
From the personal touches, to helping us know that it was the best decision for our dog. They were there when we needed them the most! They gave us time, space, but also just hung out and was there. A whirlwind of emotions and they were so warm and kind.

The veterinarians here are very kind and attentive to their furry patients. The tech and veterinarians do a great job of explaining everything so you can understand it as well as spending time with your pet to really get to know them.
Hands down the best place for your cat. Are they cheap? No, they're not. But let me tell you what they ARE: experts. They are cat experts. And they aren't in a hurry. You'll leave with information overload instead of being unsure or not completely understanding. They're amazing with cats, no matter how cranky or how sick. They are honest, straightforward and they're not trying to take your money with unnecessary tests and nonsense. They are compassionate and always go the extra mile to help you. If test results come in on a Saturday, they'll call you on a Saturday even though the office isn't open. They keep in touch with you to find out how things are going and make sure you understand anything you're not sure about.
They're great with routine care, too! It's not a 10 minute in and out visit, they will completely check out everything and tell you as they go any concerns they may have. They won't rush through things and shove you out the door, it will be the most thorough exam your cat has ever had. They're also just genuinely likable people who have a great passion and love for felines.
I've been taking my dogs (5) there for 20 years. Add two cats for the last 3 years. Dr. Roach and his staff are always professional & compassionate.
I wouldn't take my dog anywhere else. I can't recommend Dr. Smith and his staff more highly enough for your pets.
The techs are so helpful & knowledgeable. Super fast response times, & they are cost-conscious & transparent. They tell you costs up front and give you options. They recommend treatment options but don’t pressure you into treatments you can’t afford. Dr. Locke is the best. He really is the kindest, gentlest vet I’ve ever met. He sits on the ground & lets our small dogs approach him rather than trying to pick them up. Has been very helpful in managing our anxious pups. I’ve had positive experiences with Dr. Austen & Belew too. Not all vet clinics are created equal & Union Hill is by far the best of 3 we’ve used over the years.

We have been to this clinic since we moved to the area and 2015. I absolutely adore Dr. Cupp and his staff. They have helped us so much. Dr. Cupp was also super patient with one of our dogs that had some aggression issues. I could not recommend him more. The best vet we have ever had.

Our English shepherd has horrible anxiety when it comes to people other than me and my husband. We came home to her very first hot spot about a month ago and we picked Noah’s ark because they were close and open. We just went back for her vaccines this week and they were so great with her.

I have been going to Arrowhead Vet for a couple of years. All of the staff, including Dr. Epstein, is top-tier. They are caring, personable, and consistently go above and beyond for my dog. I always leave there feeling taken care of, with my questions answered. On top of all of this, they are affordable compared to any other vet I have gone to. Highly recommend.
Also, they are a smaller operation (only 1 vet, more customer service-oriented, less corporate-feeling), if that is appealing to you.

Shelby is amazing! She's so patient and gentle with both of our dogs. Our Aussie always looks great with his grooming! Our other dog who is a super nervous dog only really goes for the exposure to help her come out of her shell and Shelby always does great with her and is happy to share new updates on how brave she's becoming. I have been seeking an independently owned yoga studio with class variety, small classes, and a zen atmosphere and I’ve finally found it! I am coming back to yoga after a major surgery and Lisa Ash Yoga offered private sessions and a program for my re-entry. What a I really like is the sense of community I have with my fellow classmates. I highly recommend this studio!
I love Inner Space!! I had only ever practiced yoga at home and was very nervous to attend public classes, but every teacher here is so kind, understanding, and creative. Shout out to Laura Frank for the candle lit evening yoga!Every class feels different and fresh, and it’s always somehow exactly what I need. I think it’s magic! Also, it always smells SO good there.
I have been using Gardens of Delight for over two years. I never dreamed that Energy Healing could change the course of my life, but it has. Lynn does a tremendous job of clearing my negative energy and aligning my chakras to work efficiently together. I receive these healings on a monthly basis. In addition, I’ve also been taking energy healing classes for two years to assist in my journey. Lynn is also a tremendous Yoga instructor. Lynn is a beautiful soul, and it is a blessing to have her in my life. I recommend her to anyone.

I’ve been attending Maya since June 2019 & it’s a very special studio. Ashtanga was challenging initially and progress was slow but so worth it to stick with the process. All the instructors are very knowledgeable and highly skilled at guiding your progress at your own individual pace. Jesse is gentle, kind, and spiritual; her classes will liberate both your body & soul in a way you’ll never forget. And you can’t go wrong with Kyra in Mysore either; she is experienced, supportive, sweet, and a joy to be around. It’s all around positive vibes & nurturing energy at Maya; you should check it out!
This isn't just a yoga studio - it's a home for so many. Never has a place worked so hard to be genuine and inclusive for it's community! The teachers here are SO knowledgeable and they approach classes in a way that is safe, trauma aware and culturally sensitive, among other things. I love this studio so much that I enrolled in the Teacher Training Program, and it's been SUCH a great decision for me. If you feel like you don't fit in at other studios, give TLY a try, I think you'll find that you are embraced and celebrated just the way you are!
Club Pilates is such a great environment for people new to Pilates. I highly recommend for those busy and who need a group class to workout. My flexibility and strength has improved so much.
Wendy and the 0830 T/Th group are amazing! I was looking for a safe space where I could have more guidance with work outs. I have always been worried about doing things on my own and not using the correct posture or hurting myself. Wendy’s classes allow you to have the one on one experience, but in a small class. In less than a year, I have learned so much about myself and my body. Every week, I look forward to going to class with these amazing women and am thankful I found Pilates Co- Op KC!

The first massage I had with Jeremy fixed an achilles problem I’d been living with for 2 years. I didn’t even tell him about it because I didn’t think it was something a massage would help. A year and a half after a double mastectomy my shoulders were permanently pulled forward and my chest was always tight and causing back pain. After my second massage with him my shoulders were straight again and I stopped having the pain in my back related to that. Jeremy’s massages are life changing and the work that he does lasts. It’s not like when you get a massage that feels good in the moment but two days later you’re sore again. I’m so glad he opened a location in Tampa so I can go to him regularly!

An excellent experience all around. I was under Clare's care after shoulder surgery for almost 12-months and I don't believe any other experience could have been better than the one I had.
I felt supported and encouraged throughout my difficult recovery. My needs and goals for healing were listened to and supported. I am an avid climber and live a very active life, and she pushed me and encouraged me to get back to the point where I can participate in all the activities I love! I felt every single appointment was worth it and saw progress. Additionally, scheduling was easy, billing straightforward.

I was referred here by my doctor for a rotator-cuff injury and frozen shoulder that gave me limited ability of movement, preventing me from sleeping on my side and putting on clothes with a great deal of pain. After months therapy stretching and workout exercises from my therapist-trainer I have free mobility of movement again without pain and avoiding surgery.Thank you Bridgett!

I had MAJOR shoulder issues; a doctor probably would have wanted to do rotator cuff surgery.. however after 3 visits I did not have that pain. Again. And that was 5 yrs ago.Now I need him for shoulder pain as I tweaked my shoulder blade during a little outside work yesterday!!
