Schloegel Design Remodel
“I have had a discussion on the phone with a Schloegel representative since writing the review below.
The Company was concerned about my issue. Apologized (how often does that happen anymore?) and offered up alternative solutions.
I found them good that not being defensive. I found the alternatives reasonable. We came to a solution.
Most companies that I contact or review with a legit issue, become defensive and some yell at me. It makes me hesitant to try and talk about solutions so I turn to reviews.
I will do my final review once the work has been completed I expect it to go well.
Schloegel has not started work for me yet. My issue is with the “intake” process. The time it takes to get on the schedule.
The sales rep was personable but I had to push to get a bid after sending him pictures of the project and finally, a site visit. It was like the job was not wanted. The job is in an older part of Johnson County and I am older also.
The process began in July, I paid 1/2 the project cost up front on Aug. 18th, it was not until yesterday, Oct. 5, I was finally given a start date, with most of the work taking place in December. I go to Florida in the winter. December is a crazy month of family events, packing and shopping. Having a construction crew working on my house at that time is not ideal.
So now I am between a rock and a hard place.”
