Today i had my first spa treatment ever. My three amazing kids bought me it for mothers day, well i figured it be mothers day too, its the month before. They have looked for three years and didnt know what, where or how to start looking, by then it be to late. Well it was meant to be this year the year i turned 50. When i went in i was nervous and anxious i told them i have never been to one so they would have to teach/tell me what to do. Lauryn stopped me had me take a deep breath and then we went though the doors. She gave me the robe (i didnt know if i was supposed to be nude or wear bra and panties) and told me how she does it so ok i kept the under garments on😊 i took two waters with me and i asked if i was to bring them and she says “we give you one after every thing i had done” 😊amazing. She told me how to lay in the red light bed, that was great then kara took me over and did my massage, then my foot soak and lastly the aroma therapy room. Lauryn and Kara made my first spa session wonderful, i think im going back.

If you’re looking for a barber that actually understands how to cut and shape a proper men’s flow, go see MJ at A&A Barbershop. A lot of barbers can do fades, but very few know how to layer medium-length men’s hair correctly without making it bulky, uneven, or choppy. MJ absolutely gets it.
He took the time to shape the flow naturally, remove weight in the right areas, clean up the sides without killing the length, and make everything lay way better while still keeping that relaxed grown-out look. The haircut looks good styled or under a hat, and it grows out clean instead of awkward.
The shop itself is professional, relaxed, and welcoming, and you can tell they care about quality cuts instead of rushing people through the chair. Easily one of the best experiences I’ve had trying to find someone who understands modern men’s hairstyles and texture.

Of all the barbers I’ve been to over the years, Erika is hands down the best. She’s incredibly skilled, both at fades and textured cuts, and always charges a fair price. But what truly sets Erika apart is how friendly she always was, treating everyone who walks into her shop more like a friend than just a customer. Erika was one of the highlights of my time in Lansing, and I can't recommend her enough!

Loyalty Barbershop is everything you want in a barbershop. Great atmosphere, good people, and consistently excellent cuts. Ian somehow manages to give a sharp haircut while carrying on entertaining banter that makes the appointment fly by. He remembers how you like your cut, keeps the conversation fun, and sends you out looking like you actually have your life together. The shop has an easygoing, welcoming vibe that makes you want to come back. Highly recommend Ian, but don’t blame him if your fresh cut boosts your confidence a little too much.

I called to make an appointment for a spray tan and spoke with Courtney. My daughter's wedding was out-of-state so I needed to tan 5 days earlier in order to travel. Courtney advised against it as my tan would be non-existent by the wedding. I so appreciated her honesty!
She continued to inquire about the wedding destination and explained the process to me in detail and answered my questions politely and professionally. Then, on her own initiative, she offered to check the surrounding cities to see who I could go to in Wisconsin to get a spray tan - making sure to check the quality of their products and procedures - to "match" J2. She then texted me the information of two salons and texted the procedures necessary to get ready for the tan. She also cautioned me not to get talked into more than I needed to pay for and all that I would need to enjoy my daughter's wedding day. To say I am blown away by her customer service is a great understatement!!! She was so helpful, kind, amazing - all without any benefit of sale at this time. To be sure - next time I need this service in the area I will be absolutely going to J2!

I've been going to Simple as 1, 2 Tan for 10yrs now. I go in there to get my tan before I go to Hawaii. Mike and Kristen the owners are great people. It's family owned and operated business for the most part. All the employees are very polite. It is always very clean. The beds are great. Highly recommend Simple as 1, 2 tan if you're in need of a great tan.

The owner Sheena called in her sister last minute to save me and she did not disappoint. With 20 years of experience on her belt she did my hair with efficiency and speed. I have been searching for a long time to find a nail salon that actually did quality work and I have found it. My only complaint is that you need to plan on being there for a good portion of your day just for a fill.
UPDATE: the owner contacted me and made this right. They gave me a complimentary massage and she was fantastic. It feels like today most company’s apologize and say too bad so sad. It was really refreshing and appreciated that they offered the mak it right.
I am very disappointed in the service I received today. When I walked in for my 10am appointment , I was told the massage therapist was not in but would be arriving in a few minutes. It was that moment I knew I was going to be stood up due to it being past my appointment time but I waited . While I understand life happens, I was assured she was spoken to that morning and was aware of our appointment. Then, they called her right in front of me and told me that she , didn’t know about the appointment. I was offered to wait an hour for her to come in to serve me. I told them no thank you and told them not to charge me and left. I will not be returning to this place again. They wasted my time and my gas to get there.

He drew an incredible pair of traditional cats — a panther and tiger — along with two beautiful trad roses, and was kind enough to knock out all four pieces over two days. My calves have never looked this good. The work is so sick I’m about to hit the gym just so my legs can properly honor his art.

You might be able to save money by hiring somebody else, if what you're concerned about is just the cost of the plumbing repair. For us, the cost of the plumbing repairs is minor compared to the damage to walls and ceilings caused by repeated leaks. So getting the repair done right in the first place is far more important to us than the specific hourly rate.Your mileage may vary.

United Electrical Contractors has performed all of my electrical work on my 1918 house since about 2018. When doing electrical work in my duplex interior, it was clear that the company excels in performing the highest quality of work. Their electricians replaced my electrical panel, installed numerous outlets and fixtures, installed dedicated circuits, electrified my kitchen in a gut redo, installed a built-in space heater, etc. Recently, I retained United to do a complete electrical job on my garage. Kevin evaluated the site, offered helpful suggestions and explanations, and supplied a quote promptly. When I was ready for the work to be done, they were able to accommodate doing so within a few days. Experienced electricians Cameron and Corey came out and demonstrated exceptional ability, as well as being a pleasure to meet with and observe. They not only ran a full circuit with wiring nine outlets, and installing an overhead light switch and motion sensor light fixture, they even noticed and cured three code violations of which I was unaware, two of which were fire hazards. Eric was professional and efficient helping repair our brand new KitchenAid dishwasher. The manufacturer set us up with Bill Leech Repair Service. We are glad they did because our local service man just retired. Eric came and investigated the problem and came back when the parts were in. He fixed the dishwasher quickly was very pleasant. We will keep his number and call about our other appliance service needs!
I have used G&W appliance a couple times and I have had a great experience both times. Their install guys are awesome and they sell quality products not cheap crap. I like the fact that they service too so they know what’s good and what breaks all the time. I really like the install guys. Both times I have had the same guy do the install and he knows his stuff. This is one of the biggest reasons to use G&W. The crew has been there for a long time and there’s not a situation they haven’t seen. Taking door off a new fridge? Yea no problem. Putting them back on without any dents? Yea they got it. The owners seem like good dudes, genuine and they care about service as well as sales. The little shop across from the airport may not look like much, but it’s where I go for Knowledge and experience. The box stores can’t begin to match what these guys can do.

Steve from A-1 carpet cleaning is the only carpet cleaner I use and he does a great job. He's efficient and fast, but does a very thorough job, I'm extremely happy with how my older carpets look after he cleans them, and his prices are very reasonable.
He is also has great knowledgeable about carpets. giving me useful information about what I walk on everyday!
He uses pet friendly products, which is important to me and he's a nice guy!

RL Rider did two major projects for us in 2021-22: complete renovations of our primary suite and our kitchen. We are delighted with both projects and very happy with RL Rider's work. Recently (now 5 years later), we discovered issues with our shower door/curb and bathroom flooring. They investigated and determined that mistakes were made during the project. They took responsibility for making repairs which included rebuilding the curb and replacing a large section of the flooring. It was a several days of work which they scheduled and completed quickly, at no charge to us. We are truly impressed at how they handled the situation - thank you!

My friend recommended Outdoor Specialties after they repaired her underground gutters. They gave the best estimate of the companies I had out and did an amazing job replacing my house's old and backed-up underground gutters. The team also cleaned up the yard really well when the job was finished. We haven't had any problems with water coming back out of the gutters and the basement has stayed dry through the last few storms.

Today was my first class with my husband. This was our first time ever doing yoga. I was so nervous, but that soon ended after only being there a few minutes. We didn't feel out of place at all. The ladies running the class were so welcoming and helpful. We signed up for classes with out thinking twice!

Full disclosure we didn't actually use any of the services. However, I purchased a gift card for Mother's day this year strictly because they offered facials. Fast forward to June and we receive notice that they are no longer offering facials. Apparently the person that offered that service had moved on. I called and they were very gracious and apologetic and immediately provided a full refund for the gift card. They could have just told me too bad, nothing they can do, etc. but I really appreciated the integrity and willingness to be flexible.
Had scheduled a massage with Marissela for an hour long deep tissue- had a wonderful experience, I've had a TON of massages and she's the best l've ever had. I will become a regular immediately. The office was very clean, quiet & all of the staff were very kind.
OMG!!! Just had a session that included the face and scalp massage. I don't remember what it was called. A new item that she is trying out. I still don't have all my words back. Even at her "experimental" level, it was mind blowing. A length of time, concentrating on my face and head. It was bliss! I don't make enough money to pay her the tip that service deserves. It will be added to my monthly schedule. My face is still purring.
My husband and I went for a couples massage with Kili and Emerson. Both of us were so relaxed we fell asleep on the table. Super cute place, price point was great. Would definitely recommend, and will be returning.

I chose this place on whim because they are located close to me. I absolutely loved my 90 minute massage. Rebecca was able to find all the aches from sleeping on a hard flat bed for two weeks and worked them out. The environment she has set up is perfect for a massage with dim lighting, ambient music, and a beautiful dog as a bonus. This will be my go to place and I can’t wait to go back.

I was very impressed with his overall knowledge and ability to feel areas that needed to be addressed; some I had no idea about until he got there and started massaging. No only do I partner with ATI for my work, but unfortunately I sprained my ankle pretty bad and I had to do physical therapy… so I chose ATI and worked with Sam, the office was very convenient to my work and I was able to get in before work hours as well as after work hours, working with Sam and Marcie. I feel 99% better and it was just awesome working with them I would suggest this therapy office for multiple kinds of injuries or rehabilitation thanks again !
Keith was great! Nice guy, drove to me so I could learn, and taught me what I needed to know. Ended up passing my road test with flying colors on the second try after 2 lessons with him, and would have got it the first time as well if not for a silly mistake on my part. Would recommend!
