Had some bad experiences with finding my 3 boys a good barber. My boys have a lot of cowlicks and the youngest has thick hair, and every barber I have taken him too will trim it, but it never looks right because it is left looking heavy and big still. Joe took his time, and gave him the best haircut he has ever had. While my middles son never complains, my oldest is very particular with his haircuts, and always complains after getting it cut. He loves his haircut Joe did. Finally found a barber who takes pride in his work and makes all 3 boys look great. Will continue coming here!
Chris always gets me taken care of, and he does clean fades, always the best I've ever gotten. I live out of town, and if my haircut schedule lines up, I always try to make an effort to come through. Try to make an appointment if you can!

If you’re looking for a barber that actually understands how to cut and shape a proper men’s flow, go see MJ at A&A Barbershop. A lot of barbers can do fades, but very few know how to layer medium-length men’s hair correctly without making it bulky, uneven, or choppy. MJ absolutely gets it.
He took the time to shape the flow naturally, remove weight in the right areas, clean up the sides without killing the length, and make everything lay way better while still keeping that relaxed grown-out look. The haircut looks good styled or under a hat, and it grows out clean instead of awkward.
The shop itself is professional, relaxed, and welcoming, and you can tell they care about quality cuts instead of rushing people through the chair. Easily one of the best experiences I’ve had trying to find someone who understands modern men’s hairstyles and texture.

Of all the barbers I’ve been to over the years, Erika is hands down the best. She’s incredibly skilled, both at fades and textured cuts, and always charges a fair price. But what truly sets Erika apart is how friendly she always was, treating everyone who walks into her shop more like a friend than just a customer. Erika was one of the highlights of my time in Lansing, and I can't recommend her enough!
I went in for my first haircut at the classic barber shop today. The haircut (done by Rachel) was exactly what I was hoping for, and the staff were a pleasure to talk to. The inside of the shop looked VERY cool and overall I had a great experience.

I called to make an appointment for a spray tan and spoke with Courtney. My daughter's wedding was out-of-state so I needed to tan 5 days earlier in order to travel. Courtney advised against it as my tan would be non-existent by the wedding. I so appreciated her honesty!
She continued to inquire about the wedding destination and explained the process to me in detail and answered my questions politely and professionally. Then, on her own initiative, she offered to check the surrounding cities to see who I could go to in Wisconsin to get a spray tan - making sure to check the quality of their products and procedures - to "match" J2. She then texted me the information of two salons and texted the procedures necessary to get ready for the tan. She also cautioned me not to get talked into more than I needed to pay for and all that I would need to enjoy my daughter's wedding day. To say I am blown away by her customer service is a great understatement!!! She was so helpful, kind, amazing - all without any benefit of sale at this time. To be sure - next time I need this service in the area I will be absolutely going to J2!

I’d love it if they had an additional SST bed as there’s always a wait, so sometimes I am not able to use it, and that’s one of the reason reasons I recently renewed my membership.
I've been going to Simple as 1, 2 Tan for 10yrs now. I go in there to get my tan before I go to Hawaii. Mike and Kristen the owners are great people. It's family owned and operated business for the most part. All the employees are very polite. It is always very clean. The beds are great. Highly recommend Simple as 1, 2 tan if you're in need of a great tan.

I don't go regularly, but getting my nails done is how I kick off my long vacations. This has been the only place where my gel manicure stays rock solid for the entire duration (usually 2 weeks) and then some. Friendly owners, credit cards accepted, reasonable price since their work lasts.

Judy and Jimmy were awesome. They squeezed us in and added us last minute and saved my daughter’s nails for her first Prom. They far exceeded our expectations. Jimmy even matched and did better than the picture my daughter showed them and hand painted every detail, even though she had smaller nails. The customer service, atmosphere, and experience is top notch and some of the best in Michigan. Great prices and great service. Will definitely be back.
100/10 - I booked a deluxe gel pedi, I got there early and from the moment I got there everyone was so kind (even though there was a KAREN in there crying and acting wild because she had no idea what she wanted on her nails and expected her tech to figure it out - which was free entertainment). My nail tech Dhian was so talented when it came to doing a French tip, the massage, hot stones, etc. After moving from Las Vegas and trying to find a place that cares about quality, cleanliness, and customer service - this is forever my place.
I come every 2 - 3 weeks for gel manis and the occasional treat pedicure. Kim is the ONLY person I want to touch my nails and her husband gives the best/most thorough pedicures. I recommend this nail salon to everyone I know. I don’t go to anyone else!

I went to Lockworx Salon for the very first time on Wednesday, and the moment I stepped in, I felt welcomed. Everyone was so nice and caring. I got a wash and blow-dry from Adriana; even as simple as that, my hair has never looked better. I have to say the experience was amazing. From the consultation to the touch-up appointment, Linsi made me feel completely at ease. She is very professional, knowledgeable, and personable. The whole process was smooth, and Linsi walked me through every step so I knew exactly what to expect.

The owner Sheena called in her sister last minute to save me and she did not disappoint. With 20 years of experience on her belt she did my hair with efficiency and speed. I have been searching for a long time to find a nail salon that actually did quality work and I have found it. My only complaint is that you need to plan on being there for a good portion of your day just for a fill.
UPDATE: the owner contacted me and made this right. They gave me a complimentary massage and she was fantastic. It feels like today most company’s apologize and say too bad so sad. It was really refreshing and appreciated that they offered the mak it right.
I am very disappointed in the service I received today. When I walked in for my 10am appointment , I was told the massage therapist was not in but would be arriving in a few minutes. It was that moment I knew I was going to be stood up due to it being past my appointment time but I waited . While I understand life happens, I was assured she was spoken to that morning and was aware of our appointment. Then, they called her right in front of me and told me that she , didn’t know about the appointment. I was offered to wait an hour for her to come in to serve me. I told them no thank you and told them not to charge me and left. I will not be returning to this place again. They wasted my time and my gas to get there.

He drew an incredible pair of traditional cats — a panther and tiger — along with two beautiful trad roses, and was kind enough to knock out all four pieces over two days. My calves have never looked this good. The work is so sick I’m about to hit the gym just so my legs can properly honor his art.

Dan the Rooter Guy saved the day. He showed up on time with an advance ETA text. Our main line was clogged going into our shop's septic tank. He removed the toilet and snaked the line multiple times to get it open. He then ran a camera down it to make sure the line was OK. Thankfully he did that because he found why it was clogging. We had a 4 inch dip in the old cast iron line outside that accumulated solids and wipes that was discovered by his camera display screen and underground beeping locator. He showed exactly where to dig outside and correct the problem. If you want a clean cut honest Guy in your home that can get the work done Dan is your man! Very fair price too.
I started with a different company that could not finish the project. I waited three weeks for them to start. After assessing the problem Michigan Drain came the next day and the next day working in winter weather . Able to do laundry for first time in a month. They are so nice and professional. Their price is very fair. Could not be more pleased.

I have seen him outguess other plumbers and solve problems which stumped them.Our condo association is moving in the direction of making him our official first choice plumber. You might be able to save money by hiring somebody else, if what you're concerned about is just the cost of the plumbing repair. For us, the cost of the plumbing repairs is minor compared to the damage to walls and ceilings caused by repeated leaks. So getting the repair done right in the first place is far more important to us than the specific hourly rate.Your mileage may vary.

When doing electrical work in my duplex interior, it was clear that the company excels in performing the highest quality of work. Their electricians replaced my electrical panel, installed numerous outlets and fixtures, installed dedicated circuits, electrified my kitchen in a gut redo, installed a built-in space heater, etc. Recently, I retained United to do a complete electrical job on my garage. Kevin evaluated the site, offered helpful suggestions and explanations, and supplied a quote promptly. When I was ready for the work to be done, they were able to accommodate doing so within a few days. Experienced electricians Cameron and Corey came out and demonstrated exceptional ability, as well as being a pleasure to meet with and observe. They not only ran a full circuit with wiring nine outlets, and installing an overhead light switch and motion sensor light fixture, they even noticed and cured three code violations of which I was unaware, two of which were fire hazards. Moreover, I am also impressed by the way United stands behind its work, and I know its work will pass inspection with flying colors. Finally, the price was completely reasonable for the work involved, and such permitted me to afford a greater number of services than I would have been able to with another company. I am completely delighted with the results that have transformed the space, and plan to always use United for my future electrical needs. New to Michigan, so i was apprehensive about hiring a company that i new nothing about. I have used g&w appliance twice in the last month. Once for our dishwasher and once for our refrigerator. Less than $200 later, we have two appliances that work like new. But the best part of my experience with everyone at G & W Appliance was the absolute professionalism and decency with which they conducted themselves. They did not try to talk me into a new appliance...they simply and efficiently performed the repairs. They followed up with appointment reminders to make sure we were on the same page. Wonderful experience! Our cat spilled a 32-ounce cup of tea on our brand-new white carpet, and no matter what we tried, the stain kept coming back. Cage and another technician showed up and had the stain completely gone within 20 minutes. They were not only super knowledgeable and friendly but also went above and beyond by sharing great local tips since we’re new to the area. We’ll definitely be calling them again for any future cleaning needs.
Today, Ethan and Dave performed carpet shampooing on our rugs in preparation for the Thanksgiving holiday. As usual, they provided OUTSTANDING service; found and removed all the spots and made our carpets look wonderful.
Steve from A-1 carpet cleaning is the only carpet cleaner I use and he does a great job. He's efficient and fast, but does a very thorough job, I'm extremely happy with how my older carpets look after he cleans them, and his prices are very reasonable.
He is also has great knowledgeable about carpets. giving me useful information about what I walk on everyday!
He uses pet friendly products, which is important to me and he's a nice guy!

My friend recommended Outdoor Specialties after they repaired her underground gutters. They gave the best estimate of the companies I had out and did an amazing job replacing my house's old and backed-up underground gutters. The team also cleaned up the yard really well when the job was finished. We haven't had any problems with water coming back out of the gutters and the basement has stayed dry through the last few storms.

God led me here. I'm 60 and I've been coming here 2 months for nutrition and 1 month. My health had began improving it seemed like a few days later after each initial appointment. And now there's a world of difference in my nutrition and my balance and alignment.
I drive one way 1 hr 15 min, without construction traffic. It's where God led me and its valuable to me and my quality of life overall. For me it's deeper than just taking some supplements.. they are nutrients. And more than losing weight (which is my least concern cause it will happen automatically). Its getting to the cells and things, getting my body to work again and for my body to trust me to help it. It's more than doing knee replacement and still couldn't walk right. The knees are great, but my alignment wasn't. But now it feels great to feel some more normal walking. It's been 10 years.

I have been going to Elegant Pooch for years. Karen is my #1 go-to groomer, but everyone here is so nice and they all really really love dogs. My havanese came here every month of her eight- year life. She crossed the rainbow bridge a few months ago. I just brought my older dog, Clover, in for the first time for a spa day. She is a lab mix and doesn’t require grooming, but loved to get a bath and all the attention. It was so nice to be back! I highly recommend Elegant Pooch, their facility is very clean and welcoming, the staff is friendly, and my dogs have always loved it there.
Charlie has always had a rough time getting his nails done and the vet will only do his with him sedated which is $160.00 every time. I took Charlie to Old Town Tails and they are AMAZING!! He loves going there and gets them done with no problems and they are so gentle and caring. Every team member is always smiling and friendly!!! RECOMMEND a 20 star review!!!

OMG!!! Just had a session that included the face and scalp massage. I don't remember what it was called. A new item that she is trying out. I still don't have all my words back. Even at her "experimental" level, it was mind blowing. A length of time, concentrating on my face and head. It was bliss! I don't make enough money to pay her the tip that service deserves. It will be added to my monthly schedule. My face is still purring.
Had a pregnancy massage here to help with back pain in the 3rd trimester. They were the only place in town that had a pillow that allowed for me to lie face down. My therapist Kili did an amazing job and relieved my pain.
Then I went back after the baby was born for a couple massage with my husband. Our two therapists, Blair and Yulia, were amazing. They were ready to listen and adjust if the pressure was too much or not enough. Great experience over all!

No only do I partner with ATI for my work, but unfortunately I sprained my ankle pretty bad and I had to do physical therapy… so I chose ATI and worked with Sam, the office was very convenient to my work and I was able to get in before work hours as well as after work hours, working with Sam and Marcie. I feel 99% better and it was just awesome working with them I would suggest this therapy office for multiple kinds of injuries or rehabilitation thanks again !
