Official Driving School has been providing drivers education for over 40 years, teaching students of all ages how to drive safely, confidently, and responsibly. They offer expert and affordable drivers education at convenient locations in local schools and Sears retail locations across Michigan. Students have had varying experiences with the school. Some have praised the patience and confidence of instructors, stating that they are worth the investment. Others have had mixed experiences, citing difficulties with scheduling and long, boring classes, but have appreciated the valuable driving tips and convenient class schedules. The school's vehicles are well-maintained, and the location provides a good environment for learning different areas of driving, including urban, college campus, expressway, suburban, and store areas. Reasonably priced. General hotline staff are very knowledgeable and friendly. It is a commitment for teens, lots of time and studying involved. 2 segments required. Fees for both segments. Final written test is 2 hours. Students cannot leave early. Must pass online segments 1 and 2 as well as both in seat tests before you can take the final driving test. Segment 1 requires multiple driving sessions with an instructor who provides constructive criticism. Usually at least 1 other student on the drives who is also getting their drive time in. Your child may have to ride along while the other student does their practice drives.
My first time coming to them to take the road test. I didn't pass my road test today and it was on me. However, the instructors are so nice here that they make me have confidence to try again! I will be coming back to practice more and pass the next time! Ms. Pat, it was very nice to meet you and I hope to impress you next time.
My daughter drove with Brandon. She always came back from the drive with a smile on her face. He is an amazing teacher he is patient and informative and encouraging. He wants them to drive to the best of their abilities. We were referred here by friends of my daughters and they recommended to drive with Brandon, definitely recommend it and to drive with him. We are completely satisfied and it was a great experience.
