My boys have a lot of cowlicks and the youngest has thick hair, and every barber I have taken him too will trim it, but it never looks right because it is left looking heavy and big still. Joe took his time, and gave him the best haircut he has ever had. While my middles son never complains, my oldest is very particular with his haircuts, and always complains after getting it cut. “If you’re looking for a barber that actually understands how to cut and shape a proper men’s flow, go see MJ at A&A Barbershop. A lot of barbers can do fades, but very few know how to layer medium-length men’s hair correctly without making it bulky, uneven, or choppy. MJ absolutely gets it.

He took the time to shape the flow naturally, remove weight in the right areas, clean up the sides without killing the length, and make everything lay way better while still keeping that relaxed grown-out look. The haircut looks good styled or under a hat, and it grows out clean instead of awkward.

The shop itself is professional, relaxed, and welcoming, and you can tell they care about quality cuts instead of rushing people through the chair. Easily one of the best experiences I’ve had trying to find someone who understands modern men’s hairstyles and texture.
