My son has been taking lessons for about 2 years and has really valued his experience. The teachers have done a great job of helping him establish goals around his passions and highlighted his creativity. Their approach is the right level of expectations where he doesn't feel judged and can express a passion for music. It is really a great place for people who want to learn an instrument and feel supported. I highly recommend this place!

Not only is everyone who works here very empathetic and has a great chairside manner, they have the skills to make procedures very comfortable. Two notable examples from my visit today: 1, when I recieved the anesthetic injections, I didn't even feel it. I've never experienced that before. Second, when they made the molds for my temporary crown, they got it right the first time!

I’ve been going to Couth Grooming for 3 years. Griffin is an excellent barber and has amazing attention to detail. I went frequently for beard trims and haircuts. Griffin does very clean beard trims and I always left looking sharp. He takes him time with haircuts and we always end up striking a great conversation.
The only drawback is you will need to look for appointments atleast a month ahead (even sooner near graduation time) - he’s a popular barber ?.
Lois did a great job as always. The shop had a nice warm feeling. It felt like even though some of us barely knew each other we had good conversations while we were there and when I left I felt like we knew a little bit more about each other. It was a good feeling and a great haircut. That’s why I drive in from Pinckney I get a good haircut and have a good time while I’m there.

I've been going to get haircuts from Bob since I was a student at the University of Michigan. At the time, I was trying a different baber every couple of months since none of them were able to give me a haircut that looked good on me. Once I tried Dascola Barbers, however, I knew that I found the right place. I still get my haircuts from Bob, even though I live nowhere near the Ann Arbor area, and I know I'm not the only one who travels far for one of Bob's haircuts.

I'm really glad I found this barbershop in Ann Arbor. I go in shaggy and come out looking sharp every time. The barbers are meticulous and know how to make your preferred hairstyle happen and look good. The price is typical for the area ($30) and the wait time is usually not too long unless they are particularly busy or only a couple barbers are working.

This was my very first time here and I can genuinely say its my favorite nail salon I've ever been to, if not just for how lovely the employees are.
THE PEOPLE- I can tell that everyone genuinely cares about their clients. There was an elderly woman sitting next to me and they made sure she was comfortable and went out of their way to help walk her to the sink to wash her hands and make sure she was okay, which I thought was very kind and considerate of them. I also have never laughed so hard while getting my nails done, while I am sure if you asked for a quiet service they'd be happy to provide there was no awkward silences and I was talking to my nail tech (Ty) the whole time and it felt like we had already been friends for years. Everyone in there is so incredibly kind and happy to talk and make you laugh, and are very receptive to feedback.
THE NAILS- I think the photos speak for themselves!! Ty gave me exactly the claws I asked for and even made suggestions to make my idea even better. I asked for a full set acrylic and Ty let me know that he does gel X and recommended it instead so that my natural nails could continue to grow healthy underneath. He paid close attention to my nails and put in the time to make sure my natural nails were cleaned up well before applying the Gel X. This man is skilled!! there is no glue on my skin, no polish anywhere it shouldn't be and the edges are smooth and sharp! I couldn't find anything to complain about even if I tried. Ty also kept me very informed the entire time, letting me know that cateye polish would be an extra charge. He also let me know that if I decided my nails were too long in a couple days I could come back in and he would shorten them for me, which is awesome! I love my nails very much and will absolutely be back in.
THE PRICE- absolutely incredible!! I got long gel X stilettos with cateye polish and they were only $72!! The people at natural nails are committed to give you incredible service at a fair price.
And to any of the bad reviews- give them another try! These people really really care, and if you don't like your nails speak up!! call them back and let them know and I am sure they would be happy to correct it for you, these people are awesome.

Myself and 2 teen daughters got gel mani/pedis together as a birthday surprise. Everything was clean and comfortable. The ladies that took care of us are skilled and attentive to detail. Im glad we were able to easily get appointments at this popular spot on a days notice! Our nails are holding up well over a week later and worth the upcharge for gel, I can't say as much as other spots in town that are similarly run. Here I spent $80 for gel mani/pedis and $20 tip for each nail tech. So $100 total per client.

After my favorite hairdresser raised their rates to $140 an hour, I realized I needed a new place. I found Vicki's on Yelp, and she seemed too good to be true.Nope.She's better.She listens and she knows hair. She gets you in fast and out fast. She doesn't try to sell you lots of product. How great is that?She cuts your hair dry, spraying a little water on it when she needs to, but you know it looks when she's done with it - is the way YOU can make it look, too.Whew. Hands down the best massages i have ever had! I’ve been getting massages for over 10 years and I’ve had wonderful massage therapist but Spa Jina is unlike anything else. She is so wonderful for so many reasons, but I swear her hands are magic. I stand all day for my job and my back feels so much better after seeing her with her signature Massage and then her lymphatic drainage massage is out of this world. Dealing with an auto immune disease I have fatigue with my lymphatic system, and she has helped me so much flush that out have less pain and feel incredibly better. Truly, one of a kind I highly recommend going to see her for your massage needs. She’s happy to adjust pressure to your liking and we’ll make sure you’re always comfortable. She’s super professional. I love her knowledge and care - she took time after my appointment to do a deep dive into the ingredients of my current routine. She made thoughtful and customized suggestions afterwards, about my current routine. She told me what to cut out and what to add in. I really appreciate the mix of a careful analysis of my skin before/after the service mix mixed with the most relaxing massage.

The moment I walked in for my facial earlier this month, I was warmly greeted by Sophie and offered tea or water. The storefront is warm and aesthetic.
My facial was wonderful! Soothing, ambient music was playing and the heated bed relaxed me. The products they use are made with quality ingredients and they smell great. It was like aromatherapy (and apparently they have an aromatherapy facial of sorts- which is highly intriguing)! The arm, neck, and scalp massages were lovely.
At the end of the appointment, I felt so relaxed I could almost take a nap! I was given a couple of samples that Sophie used for my facial. I just finished the strawberry rhubarb hyaluronic hydrator sample and I plan to buy some because it smells and feels great!
Initially, I thought the cost was overpriced. But after getting such quality service, I think it is fairly priced. The amount of care and consideration that this business puts into their curated products, branding, clients and etc. is clear to see. Not to mention, my skin's appearance has improved. I will definitely be returning!

It's cool to have an old school supplier this far west of Detroit. One that has all the commercial grade PVC, copper, brass and cast iron fittings that nobody else has. Specializing in commercial and American made fittings they keep our schools and building from crumbling. It has a small staff and a classic supply house vibe. This is a place for the PRO's but they will sell to the public. If you are a homeowner and you go in there please be nice because they are there to cater to professionals and commercial accounts who know what they are after. Chris showed up on time was very friendly and knowledgeable, confirmed they were yellowjackets checked the wall and ceiling in the house then explained in detail what they use, how it works and it could take up to three days but by the end of the next day, no activity. We had Landscape Lighting Specialists out to repair the wiring to a set of lights. The existing wiring was damaged. Scott and Cam were great and fixed the problem in under an hour. When they finished the new wires were buried and the landscaping looked like no one had been there.
After a couple of years having difficulty keeping up with our lawn and bed maintenance, we hired Good Guys. They are prompt and professional and it has been so nice knowing that our yard is taken care of. Additionally, we were having a hard time getting sprinkler winterization scheduled with our usual company this year, we reached out to Good Guys and they were able to get us on the schedule within 24 hours of signing the contract. The man who came and performed the service was the most thorough we have ever had winterize our sprinklers. I cannot say enough good things about Good Guys and highly recommend them.

We've worked with J's twice now - once to remove a very large, old white pine which was very close to our house (and dangerously close to tipping over), and another time to remove a large amount of trees and invasives in our backyard as well as very large brush piles that were on the property when we bought it. J's team was efficient and friendly. Always checking in with us to ensure we were happy with the work, and also when rain came, to make sure they weren't damaging our yard with heavy equipment. The site was left very clean and we were super impressed with how effectively they removed all the invasives, which would have taken us months to do. Pricing was transparent and fair - much lower than initial estimates we received from others - and communication was frequent. Will definitely reach out to J's if we need to remove anything more, and would highly recommend J's!

Not only is everyone who works here very empathetic and has a great chairside manner, they have the skills to make procedures very comfortable. Two notable examples from my visit today: 1, when I recieved the anesthetic injections, I didn't even feel it. I've never experienced that before. Second, when they made the molds for my temporary crown, they got it right the first time!

When I started seeing Dr. Thatcher i was in pain after sitting for any length of time. I noticed a difference after my first visit and it only got better. Four years later I go monthly for maintenance and haven’t experienced the crippling pain again.
I can’t say enough about Journey Chiropractic. We had gone 7 years dealing with major behavioral issues with our 9 year old daughter, we tried everything and we were at the point of considering medication. To say we felt helpless was an understatement. We came across Journey Chiropractic on line and saw that they dealt with severe behavior issues in kids including oppositional defiance disorder (which we had self-diagnosed our daughter having). I was skeptical, but also optimistic as Dr. Kirsi was so positive and explained exactly why our daughter was behaving how she did. They saw that her behavior matched perfectly with the misalignment of her body (specifically the spine). Within 1 week she went from a horrible sleeper to an easy sleeper. Within 2 weeks she stopped refusing to eat and stopped complaining about every meal in front of her. Within 5 weeks, she started to do homework without a huge fight (I had actually given up on HW because her behavior was so bad and dangerous I figured we had bigger issues than homework getting done). I know we aren’t 100% there yet, but the progress we have seen in 5 weeks is astonishing to say the least. All I can say is I wish I had found Dr. Kirsi and Dr. Seth sooner! If you are dealing with behavior issues with your kids, this is the first place to start—I wish I had!

I had our first visit today for my Pomapoo Rena as she has been suffering with back pain and our first visit was great. Very quiet and clean space with exceptional treatment by staff. The person who saw Rena was very nice and my dog seemed to really like her. She really listened and made us both feel comfortable. Rena fell asleep half way on the drive home. Since it is our first visit only time will tell if things will be successful but so far I am very impressed and we are both happy.

I have had several skin cancer procedures done here with great results. By chance I had a biopsy at another office and had a delay having the results sent to Dr. Ganger. When Jill, the physician facilitator for Dr. Ganger, was made aware of the delay she immediately handled the transfer of records, got me scheduled for a procedure and saved me a lot of time and stress. She is a very knowledgeable, efficient, extremely helpful facilitator and scheduler who puts patients first. She made it all so easy and I so appreciated her help.

The vet came in prior to the procedure and was incredibly thorough in going over what the procedure would look like and what the potential breakdown of costs would be. Every staff member is so sweet and patient. I had no worries at all when I dropped my girlie off for the day.
I brought my senior cat here for his care towards the end of his life, and I am so appreciative of this practice! Dr. Marissa was so kind and thoughtful when working with him. The technicians were always welcoming, fielded all my questions, and were very gentle with my cat at the end of his life. The care given at this practice should be the standard, I cannot recommend this place enough!
We adopted a cat who had a complicated medical history, and Compassionate Care has been wonderful. The pulse wave therapy worked wonders for our kitty who had her hip joint removed, a messed up ankle (on the other side!) and a broken pelvis. I was skeptical of the treatment, honestly, but not any more! It really helped our little girl, who is now living her best life!
Best vet in the area for exotics! I take both my rabbits and my birds here. A few days ago, I woke up to my rabbit Olive not wanting her breakfast. This is extremely unusual for her. She didn't even want a treat, which is when I knew something was absolutely wrong. So without hesitation, I called all creatures, and they had a cancelation and were able to get me in. The doctor and the staff truly go out of their way to make you feel like they truly care about your fur baby. When we walked in, there was a sign welcoming Olive. The little things like that are why I love this vet so much. To add, the doctor was very gentle and throughout along with the techs. They did an amazing job, and a few days later my baby Olive is back to herself! I truly want to say thank you to the doctor that day! Without her, my baby might not be okay right now. One last thing, this place has amazing prices! Once I got the final bill, I was surprised at how cheap it was! Overall, I am thankful to have found this place. I will definitely continue to bring my exotics here! Thank you all for being the best!
Dr. Buttman has been my vet for years and is very knowledgeable. She explains her diagnosis, offers treatment options and is just a great human. The staff are all very professional and welcoming.

The staff here are so kind, gentle, and knowledgeable. They helped me care for my sick, traumatized 20-yr old cat and helped me decide when to say goodbye, and I've taken my next two cats here, too. They're very responsive to emails and texts and I don't usually have to wait on hold when I call. They're worth the drive even after moving to Ypsi.

I took my first Hot Pilates class this morning and loved it! The instructor, Evan was fantastic. She was very kind and an amazing instructor especially for a first timer! The studio is a a beautiful and clean environment. I will definitely return for another class!

Magic!! I came to Allison with back pain that I had for 10 years. I worked with PT's and massage therapists, and while what they supported me with somewhat subdued the pain in moments, it never got 100% better. In one session with Allison, my back pain was cured!!!! I couldn't believe it. Going to bed that first night without having to squirm around to support my back in just the right position was incredible. It's absolutely life-changing to find a good massage therapist that actually listens to what you say you need and addresses that instead of deciding what's more important to fix. I've been to countless places asking for a focus on my neck and shoulders, and they always find the same spot and dig into it. I leave feeling bruised and my neck and shoulders still causing me tension headaches every day. Today I woke up completely headache-free AND that spot everyone likes to attack feels better without that bruised feeling.
I am medically fragile, so seeing their reasonable mask policy, use of air filters, and cleaning practices was most definitely a major selling point for me. I really feel safe here, and that's not something I can say about many places.

This is where Dr. Steven Hinderer practices. He is an extremely knowledgeable PM&R doctor with over 25 years experience! Along with Dr Hinderer is physician assistant Douglas McCollum. Both, along with the office staff are friendly , outgoing and more than helpful. Dr. Hinderer has taught students at Wayne State University. Although he has no current affiliations, he does know many doctors on staff within the Corewell and U of M health. Worlds. When he recommends something to be done, it is out of his years of expertise and knowledge that his recommendations are made.

I started acupuncture with Brodie because of degenerative discs in my back. Not only has he helped me manage the chronic condition, he's also helped me with vertigo, recovery from a bad fall and other health issues. More importantly for me, though, is his holistic approach to healing and wellness. He's extremely supportive and caring and I've learned so much from him.
Ron is an excellent driving instructor. He explains everything clearly and thoroughly, and his patience creates a calm and supportive learning environment. I started off as a very nervous driver, but thanks to Ron’s guidance, I now feel confident and comfortable behind the wheel. I highly recommend Ron to anyone looking to learn how to drive.
Update: I passed my road test yesterday. I cannot thank Ron enough for all the inputs and feedback he had for me at the end of each class. I practiced with him for more than 3 months and he made sure I was confident enough on the road.

I was really nervous about driving at first, but this school made everything so much easier. My instructor stayed calm, gave clear directions, and helped me improve every time I drove. I actually started to enjoy driving, which I never expected. Definitely worth it!
