“Hidden Haven of Healing!I have been having massages with Trevor regularly (once every 1-2 weeks) for 3 months. He is clearly very knowledgeable about musculoskeletal anatomy and useful massage techniques to target problem areas. I have chronic issues with hip misalignment and low back stiffness. Trevor expertly pinpoints tight spots and gently but firmly releases ligaments and muscles to provide immediate relief. I leave every massage feeling very relieved and lighter in my own body.I have also found Trevor’s yoga therapy sessions to be very helpful. Trevor’s extensive experience and expertise in yoga techniques helps him to educate and guide his clients on how to help themselves as well. He has corrected some of my improper form in poses that I was previously familiar with, and also taught me new poses that will specifically address my needs.Trevor is always professional, but also listens carefully and thoughtfully to my specific issues so that he can help me decipher the underlying issues to properly address my chronic pain and discomfort. “At age 48, I decided that I wanted to train for a half-marathon. This was a somewhat improbable goal as I had never run more than 5 or 6 miles and was very prone to injury. A friend suggested that I work with Tamara toward this goal, and it turned out to be great advice. Tamara helped me avoid injury, and even more importantly enjoy running in a way I never had before. She focused on what my body could do, not on what it couldn't, steadily building capacities and confidence along the way. Some years later, I am now training for my ninth half-marathon, and I am sure that I could not run these races without Tamara as my secret weapon. She offers pragmatic advice, steady encouragement, and deeper, more holistic knowledge of the body than any physical therapist or sports medicine doctor I've encountered. “Love this place. Have been going for over ten years. Casual yoga instruction using ropes to help with balance and to use upper body strength which you don't get with traditional yoga. Community feel with chai offered after every class. Different instructors have different styles so it's good to try them all out before you make a decision. Also, best yoga deal in town.“
