“I sought out Ann Arbor Holistic Health originally for my symptoms of MCAS, severe swallowing issues due to it, and Hashimoto's. I partnered with Dr. Alma Moya and she was the first doctor to make me feel seen and validated with all of my health concerns. We did a few different tests to find the underlying cause, and it turned out I had reactivated EBV and extreme inflammation in my body. She put me on a protocol of a list of tinctures, a detoxing smoothie, and slowly adding nutrients back into my diet, because I was only eating 5 foods at the time due to MCAS. Very quickly I became much better, I was able to actually live my life again (my main goal with working with Dr. Alma), and I was able to slowly trust my body again.
