Isaac is not only a barber, to me he is more than that, like a mentor to everyone in the community, a father figure and overall an overachiever. It's always good to make an appointment with Isaac and skip the line. At Isaac's Barbershop you can get any hairstyle you like. It has been a few years since I last visited David, but his work remains one of the best massage experiences I’ve ever had—easily a standout in my history of treatments. David is incredibly attentive; he listened carefully to my requests before we began and constantly adapted his technique by reading my body's response throughout the session. If you are in the Cambridge/Boston area and looking to reward yourself with a reinvigorating, therapeutic experience, I highly recommend giving him a chance. You won't be disappointed!

I went to Studs in Cambridge recently and worked with Lily as my piercer. Lily was FANTASTIC. I got two advanced placement piercings (anti-tragus and rook) and had my lobes reopened and it barely hurt. Lily guided me through the whole process of checking anatomy, going over how my previous piercings have healed in the past, figuring out placement for the piercings, getting the piercings done, and proper aftercare. Lily even went over how long until my ears are completely healed and I would be cleared to get another piercing. I went in completely open regarding placement of any piercings to get, and let Lily check my ears and give me recommendations based on what worked with my anatomy. I am so glad I got to work with Lily and extremely happy with my new piercings.
I loved how my brows turned out and I really appreciate how much time and precision she used while doing them. I didn’t get her name but the woman who did my brows was very kind, polite, and welcoming! I will be going out of my way to come back here. Also if you’re wondering it was $15 for brows and they accepted card and Apple Pay.

She installed hair extensions for my wedding back in November, and has helped shape my hair over the past few years as I've dealt with hair loss and regrowth. I have fine, curly hair, and few stylists know how to manage that combination in their chair. Chloe really listens to her clients. She takes your face shape and your capacity for style management into account when creating a look. She is the best!

We got a last minute appointment with Dawn and it was a great experience! My 4-year old daughter has very strong hair and Dawn took a lot of time and care of her hair, really giving her hair a wonderful new shape. She explained a lot and gave great tips for the future. I have been seeing Anita for almost three years after returning back to Cambridge from grad school, and I would give her 6 stars if I could! She is a fierce, independent business owner who has specialized in her craft for decades.
Anita could easily charge 50% more for her services for the Boston / Cambridge area (my hometown salon in Connecticut charges double for the same service), but normally finishes with me in half the time! We've had many long conversations where Anita has explained that she could raise her prices, hire more people, create an automated booking system, and build out her business -- but the reality is she loves what she does and is able to balance working six-day weeks with her family life in the suburbs. Easy, efficient, (relatively) painless, and enjoyable every time.
I can think of only two instances where Anita has had to reschedule (honest booking error, one of her girls was sick), but I can think of tens of appointments she has stayed late or fit me in between appointments because it was time sensitive and she was able to accommodate in short-order. She really tries to go above and beyond and takes her work very seriously.
Kindness goes a long way and we are all doing our best. I guarantee you will not be disappointed working with Anita - extremely professional and just wonderful to work with all around!

Tried Charlie’s Barber Shop for the first time. My husband has been going to Michael for a few years so I made an appointment. I was long overdue for a haircut and had never even set foot in a barber shop before, but he made the whole experience super easy. What really stood out was how detailed he was with his questions—like, no one has ever asked me such precise things about what I actually want in a haircut.
Also… the neck shave at the end was an unexpected highlight! Honestly, way better than the typical salon hair wash.

After moving to the area, it took me months find a new nail salon for dip manicure. This a classic, no nonsense nail salon. However, my nails have lasted at least a month each time I’ve been. Prices are completely reasonable. This is your sign to go!

She really knows her stuff and is really good at explaining the best techniques and products to meet your hair goals. I got a shampoo/conditioning, blow dry, trim, and a silk press. I am very pleased with the service I got from Kevin today. He showed up when promised, took the lowest-cost approach to fix a problem, and then stayed on to take care of a last-minute add-on faucet renew. Looking at the previous reviews I am somewhat perplexed by the complaint about the front office. I have been a Malcolm customer for several years and have never experienced this.
I contacted Addario's Plumbing, Heating, Cooling & Electrical Services on a Sunday evening through social media after a newly installed indirect water heater left us without hot water. I was impressed by how responsive they were and was able to schedule a Monday morning appointment. The technicians arrived within the promised time window.
Unfortunately, the first technician crew sent were overwhelmed by the issue. After taking photos he repeatedly presented authorization forms and charges before even explaining the problem or proposed solution if any would even be viable. Despite being informed that an electrician had already verified the wiring, he kept suggesting and pushing that the issue is electrical and he clearly uncertain about the next steps.
To Addario's credit, once the situation was escalated, a supervisor quickly recognized that a different skill set was needed and reassigned the job to another team. The replacement technicians were outstanding—professional, knowledgeable, transparent, and thorough. They quickly diagnosed the issue, clearly explained the repairs and costs, and worked diligently for several hours to restore our hot water. They also took the time to explain follow-up recommendations to prevent future problems.
The final cost was close to $900, which is significant, but given the emergency nature of being without hot water, I needed the issue resolved quickly. In the end, the second team earned this review and turned what was becoming a frustrating experience into a positive outcome.

whenever we have to get a plug fixed or have something installed at our restaurant Coleman is always the first people we call. take a look at these giant chandeliers they installed. they are 6 ft. tall and 5 ft. circumference and they got them up in one afternoon. it was awesome.
Quick service - very reliable. I called at 8:30pm and within 20 minutes, they were at my door to help. Just 10 minutes more and I was back inside my apartment. I’m very appreciative!
Arrived quickly and unlocked the door, but the latch that used to be fine now gets stuck often. Not sure if it’s their fault- they tried to fix it and it didn’t work.
I took the extra $1.99 option, and the keys worked fine even though they didn't have the little teeth.

Excellent dryer vent cleaning service from start to finish. The technician, Philip, was professional and detail-oriented. He removed all the lint buildup and checked the vent line for any issues. We used Charlie Allen Renovations to transform our kitchen and bathroom in our 1920's condo. I can't even begin to say how incredible the CAR team was to work with. Every person we worked with shared their expertise in historical renovation. They were patient and attentive to our every need. After listening carefully to the way we entertain and cook and what we value in our kitchen they worked with an architect and presented us with 5 different options to change our small kitchen. We took a wall down and opened up our space - it's incredible - more counter space and cabinets. It's beautiful. We gutted our bathroom and put in a walk in shower and tile throughout. It's elegant and like being in a spa. Our meetings were fun, focused, and productive. The project designer walked us through the selections and set us up with local vendors who were terrific to work with. We knew exactly what we were going to spend and the time line before the construction started. Our project manager was so great to work with and talented. In addition to organizing the project he did much of the carpentry work. He was attentive to every detail. I came up with new ideas for us which we loved. We had a phenomenal experience working with CAR!

I’ve had back issues for 50 years and have been seeing chiropractors that whole time. I am now seeing Cody Miller. He has recognized that the issue is really muscular not spinal. By giving me the correct exercise program, my back feels better than it has in years. Unlike my previous chiropractor at another practice, instead of having me come in every week to be manipulated (and billed), he just gave me the right exercise program. I do it diligently and see him much less frequently. I truly appreciate the focus on my health rather than having me there for regular treatment (and bills). Highly recommend Cody Miller.
Dr. Nolan is very knowledgeable and helped me with my back pain. He's very personable and likes to get to know his patients. He focuses on soft tissue (massaging the affected area) and manual adjustments. Overall, a great experience!

Dr Rob is the best and we have learned so much from him during our treatment sessions. He prevented and helped reverse my daughter’s fallen arches. He has also helped modify her rigorous sports training schedule to prevent injury and burnout and to provide proper rest during growth spurts. He has taught her key stretches to prevent constriction of muscles and fascia. My daughter is pain free, has more energy and is she growing like crazy. She loves his adjustments when she has an injury or when she has tightness.

I had a shoulder injury that couldn't quite heal, and he worked on it, unlike several other PT's, and showed me exercises, to get it back to normal. I have referred MANY friends to him, and they have all reported positive results, and several of them now send their teenage children to him for various injuries. He is one of those rare people who understands the issue and knows what to do about it and conveys that with kindness and sensitivity.
I joined Barbara's Come To Yoga class over four years ago at the start of the COVID pandemic via Zoom. I have taken yoga classes with a variety of instructors and Barbara is by far the best and most outstanding yoga instructor all around.
I cannot speak highly enough about her through knowledge of the human body, expertise and ease in following her approach to teaching yoga. Barbara makes her Come to Yoga classes easy to follow. She physically demonstrates each move and verbally walks her students through the process of how to safely enter, set themselve up and hold each move or pose. She offers alternatives to and with taking a pose or executing a move so as not to exacerbate any injuries or feeling of pain.
I feel my body’s flexibility, stamina and strength building with every class I have participated in and it feels wonderful!! Thank you Barbara for being there and helping me keep my body in tune and alive!

David is a miracle worker. I was traveling for work I made a last minute appointment for a a deep tissue massage Friday evening after a hard day. I left feeling like a new person! I wish I lived close enough to see David regularly!!

Annie worked so hard to make me feel better. Not only did she know what to do, she gave a ton of effort for my sore and tight muscles. I don’t have the easiest body to work with and she went above and beyond with this massage. Will definitely be back!

To say Melissa changed my life and gave me back something I loved and thought I would never be able to really do again is an understatement. After a variety of sports and activities and injuries as a teen, I struggled with all sorts of pain, mobility issues, etc. in my young adulthood and thought I would have to accept that circus and aerials were probably a thing of the past for me. Shortly after starting classes with a new aerials coach, he recommended Melissa, and after my first visit with her, I felt so much hope for my sad little shoulders that I hadn’t in a very long time.
Melissa is so patient, such a thorough listener, and knows how to ask the right questions. Her kindness and incredibly vast knowledge of the human body moving through sometimes bizarre shapes and movements is unparalleled.
5 years later, I still visit Melissa regularly. Sometimes this is for new things that pop up and don’t feel quite right, sometimes it’s for preventative maintenance, and sometimes it’s because I’ve made enough progress with the exercises she’s given me over the years that I’m ready for her to give me new ways to strengthen ranges of motion I never thought I’d have. She can perfectly address all of these. I don’t just love going to visit her knowing I’m doing something good for my body; I truly look forward to seeing her the same way I look forward to catching up with an old friend. That is truly how much she shows her patients how much she cares.

I’ve been seeing Lisa since week 31 of my pregnancy. She has worked miracles! Got my baby to turn — she was breached the entire pregnancy, completely got rid of my feet and leg swelling, noticeable helped my mood, helped my nausea.
