There is Innovative and new ideas with this company. I did projects with this company and also one of the things I liked is I saw no-one trying to take shortcuts which is rare.
After they inspected the ductwork, it was clear that some joints had come loose over time, which they secured efficiently. The repair was completed in just over an hour, and everything seems to be functioning well since then.
The Servpro team we worked with Eduardo, Abel and Alfredo (and Kirsten in the office) were all wonderful. Eduardo and his team were kind, professional, knowledgeable and very thorough. They took their time to explain the situation to me and discuss things going forward. Kirsten coordinated their work with our schedule, answered all my questions and was just so nice during a stressful time! Will not hesitate to use again if we need and would highly recommend.

I worked with Dr. Goldberg at his previous practice and then at Careful Counseling for long stretches spanning 10+ years, through an assortment of issues ranging from relationship breakups to career discontent to anxiety about becoming a parent. Our working relationship frequently felt more like a peer relationship than a doctor-patient relationship, which made the therapy experience feel more human and less coldly clinical than other therapists I’ve worked with in the past.

He knew what to do judging by what I sat down with. It was a pleasure watching him work.
While waiting, I was treated with the courtesy that reminded me of old school barbershops in Europe and British Asia. I was asked if I would like some water to drink. Even the young man (teen) who was sweeping up the hair spoke politely, apologizing that he did not not attend to me soon enough when I entered.
The care and attention to seemingly little matters is refreshing.
Five Stars!!! After interviewing several contractors in the Boston area, we hired Streck Design Build to extensively renovate our hundred-year-old apartment in Back Bay. Overall, Streck Design Build did a fantastic job from start to finish. Streck Design used excellent subcontractors - particularly for painting, flooring, plumbing, electrical, and millwork. Mark and Gary from Streck Design were very organized and attentive to detail to ensure the quality of the final product. Streck Design Build is trustworthy and they were a pleasure to work with!
We've had an excellent experience at Early Risers. The teachers really care about the children (the most important thing), the staff have been very helpful to us as parents, and the activities that they do with the kids are interesting and high quality. I highly recommend Early Risers.

Kayoko is an amazing hairstylist. I always used to get C-curl perms in Korea, and she knew exactly how to cut my hair to create the C-curl style I wanted. She was so professional, and I absolutely love how my hair turned out.
I’ve been going to Desiree for many years and she has made my curls find new life. She always listens to what I want to accomplish with my hair and talks me through how we can make it happen. Desiree has created a wonderful space in her studio and always makes me feel welcome. I’ve done regular cuts, curly cuts and color services and am always so happy with how my hair turns out.
I’m not normally one to write a review but my mom and I had such a great experience with Emily that I really wanted to share it. My mom has had worsening hair thinning for many years. She’s not one to be too concerned about what others may think but her hair loss has been leaving her increasingly self conscious lately. She asked for my help and I found Emily. What an amazing person Emily is. From the moment I reached out to her on her website she was kind, knowledgeable and seemingly excited to help us. Based on the pictures I sent her and what I told her about my mom and what she was looking for, she ordered at least 4 wigs and toppers to have in salon for my mom to try at her consultation. She made my mom feel so comfortable. She asked questions to figure out what exactly she was hoping to achieve and was honest and genuine about her professional opinion on the state of her hair and what would work for her. Instead of selling my mom an expensive wig or topper, she introduced us to an inexpensive option (hair fibers) AND she cleaned up and shaped my mom’s hair in the back. She did all of this in our consultation without any expectations of payment. My mom and I are so grateful to Emily for suggesting the option that best suits her based on who she is and her lifestyle.
This salon is a first rate place where one can have his or her hair done and get a liberal arts education Walter Gee is a superb stylist for men or women who offers sage advice on maintenance of one's scalp and hair follicles. He is also an expert on the French language and on Italian opera. This salon is spotless and conveniently located on St Mary's Street in Brookline. Deep Blue Hair studio is truly exceptional. The entire place has a nice atmosphere, and you can tell everyone is good at what they do. I’ve been seeing Christiana for over 10 years, and she is outstanding. She always understands exactly what I’m looking for whether its just a clean up or trying something new. She's friendly and knowledgeable and I wouldn’t trust anyone else with my hair.

Quick and straightforward place to get your haircut. I get my hair cut here regularly, AND I took my friend here to get his hair cut the day before his wedding and his bride and his parents were thrilled.
Great haircuts for excellent prices! Only downside is they only take cash, which can be a minor inconvenience if you're like me who barely uses cash. But that's so minor an issue it doesn't detract from my recommendation at all.

Wasn’t a lash girly for many years until I came across Nail Monster. I’ve gotten lashes done by Bing and Emma and they’re both amazing. They specialize in Asian style lashes like anime, Thai, Chinese etc. The lashes are super flattering and don’t feel or look heavy at all. And the studio is clean and so cute too. Their services are worth every penny 🥰

i have been getting my nails done at bellacquer since 2019 and i don’t trust anyone else to do my nails. Nickie is so talented and my nails always look beautiful, long, and healthy. my nails are natural and strong and definitely wouldn’t look good if i went somewhere else.
It took me years living in Brookline to find a nail salon I liked, and after finding Hands and Heels years ago I never go anywhere else (and have turned several friends on to there). I have never had a bad experience - everyone is detail oriented and thoughtful, and incredibly accommodating. If I ever move out of Brookline, I would still drive here to get my nails done.

By some remarkable coincidence, a Sassoon team from London was about to demonstrate how to achieve the perfect Sassoon cut that indeed Augusto had given me. Thank you, Augusto!

When I first wanted to go get a Brazilian, I was coming in there with a lot of trauma and I was really worried about how this was going to go. The word on the street was that Karen Golden was the person you went to if you were coming into this from a place of trauma and the street wasn't kidding. If you're kind of a hot mess, you won't find a more compassionate person. She's not judgy, she's not unkind, and she makes the process of ripping your pubic hair out of your body as not-awful as it possibly could be. The room is clean and smells nice. Her assistant Lara is also as kind as can be. She takes cash or checks and everyone is understanding if you don't come by on the regular or have to cancel at the last minute (I disappear for months at a time: my income ain't what it used to be) but if you can only go to one place for the rest of your life for waxing, this is where you should go. She's the best.

100% 10 stars for this company. victor was so nice and His teamwas able to help my son with removing a key that was broken off inside his lock. He goes to Boston University and I live out of state. They made it so easy for us and they were very, very professional and kind. I hope your student or you don’t have to have a key broken up in your lock, but if you do, they are there for you! I’ve saved his number just in case. Please know when you call this number you are calling direct. There are many scammers that pose as locksmith. Although they do come to your home, this company has a real storefront as well. Again, 10 stars!!!

Lasky Homesmith Services tackled many jobs that had gone undone for years. Jeff’s refined carpentry skills were demonstrated when he disassembled and reassembled an antique oak pedestal table that was broken and unstable. He also designed and installed a handsome railing leading to our basement. On the handyman side of things, Jeff fixed a garden gate and installed a wall mount system for our television. I would, and will, use Lasky Homesmith Services again without hesitation.
Jim has helped with three projects now. Big or small he comes through with fast, extremely high quality work. This last one he and his team replaced our entire 100yr old slate roof (with new slate he sourced from the same quarry as the original), repointed the chimneys, all new sub roof, rubber roofs, copper work, new gutters, painting and stucco repairs. His esthetics are meticulous and thoughtful. He thinks about the budget, the history of the property and the client. He is easy to work with, clear, straight forward and professional. He gets the best tradesmen/women. He is worth every penny and he backs up his work.

We worked with Kenwood to do a gut renovation of our home, which is located in a historic district. We had a great experience. The project was technically and aesthetically challenging due to the age of the home and the requirements of the historic commission. Boris and Jerry were great problem solvers, helping us work through all those challenges. The Kenwood team clearly takes pride in their work as they put a lot of care in every aspect of the project. They were also highly responsive to our needs. We would happily work with them again!

I have been using Ultra Safe Pest management for many years. All of the personnel are really friendly. Dan on the phones is always will to help. Gilmer, my new service professional, was excellent. He was extremely responsive and friendly. He was willing to take another look at the exterior despite others having reviewed it for entry points. Miracle Worker. I came to Dr. Hirsey's office with spine popped out of place so bad I it hurt to breath. After my first adjustment I got up off the table and was pain free. She is not only the sweetest Chiro I have ever met she is by far the most experienced. Before coming into her office I also had trouble walking and it hurt to do anything like run or exercise, she noticed my pelvis had popped out and she was able to put it back together just by using special blocks. I walked out pain free. What really made me want to write this review on top of all of that was that she mentioned she has been fixing hips for "40 years." That let me know I have one of the best most experienced doctors I could ever possibly meet. I trust Dr.Hirsey and I would recommend any of my friends and family to be seen by her.

Tom Jacobson is an incredible massage practitioner. I have had massages all over the world and his is the very best. I drive from Cambridge to Brookline to see him, as I have never found anyone as good. He is knowledgable about preventive care and incredibly helpful to assist you in handling an issue. I recently had bad lower back pain and he guided me through in addition to the incredible massages. You won't be disappointed, and you will keep wanting more!
I tried out this studio to practice with Jill Rodgers after taking class with her at the Back Bay location. Jill is a gifted instructor, regardless of location. Similar to Back Bay, the Coolidge studio is conveniently located and is a warm, welcoming space. You can't go wrong with Boston Yoga Union.
Practicing here has been a big part of my recovery from a herniated disk. I've also found the practice a really great help to my body and spirit in other ways I hadn't anticipated, including with my ADHD and peace of mind. I'm very grateful for the folks here.

Kate Garms Massage Therapy is an independently owned massage business with THE best massage I have ever had! Scheduling is a breeze through e-mail, which is responsive. Kate is a gifted, ethical, sensitive, intuitive and very special massage therapist and a true professional! Each massage is a work of art! The massage business is in beautiful Brookline and in the same building as a chiropractor, making it great to get an adjustment and a massage in the same day. Kate's space is clean, quiet, soothing, and she will work with any essential oils you bring, which is great since some massage therapists have a no scents policy. I highly recommend Kate for a state of the art massage, be it Swedish or deep tissue or prenatal. The only downside to Kate's business is that 1) she is booked well in advance, so don't even think about same day or even same week massages!, and 2) she works normal business hours and not super early, evening, or weekend hours. 3) As well, I do wish she had an online booking system. All so that I can get more massages with Kate! Thank you for being you, Kate! The world needs more massage therapists like you!

I've had problems with motor skills and bodily discomfort my entire life (tied with neurodivergence and mental illness) and have had trouble finding ways to feel more comfortable and free. I've recently started seeing Mara and she has helped me detect where there's stress in my body and release it. She's very good at listening and adapting to both physical and verbal feedback, and creating a comfortable and safe environment.
I have been working with Eli Thompson, Boston Posture Center, almost weekly for several months to decrease the impact of scoliosis which I developed as an adult. My posture has improved significantly during this time. He let me know in advance that his structural integration work will help me, but I also have to work at home in order to see change. He gives me exercises to do at home and welcomes questions about them.
Others said that my muscles could be strengthened but I should not expect change in alignment. Eli said I could expect some change. I still have scoliosis, but I feel better and my posture and alignment are much improved.
I have been going to Paula for years. She is amazing at her craft and her sweet personality always brings so much brightness to your day. She customizes the massage to your needs and also does neck and facial massage for bruxism which not many places do. I like to get her buy 4 get 1 free packages. The value is too good to pass on.

These ladies are simply the best. I've been coming here for 5 years and this place has some of the most consistent, high-quality services in the Brookline (maybe even greater Boston) area. I've tried multiple types of massages - combo swedish/Thai, sports, and prenatal massages. I have never been disappointed.
For prenatal massages, I find that they take feedback well and are not afraid to use medium to firm pressure if you ask for it. My massage therapists also always check in with me and make sure I'm comfortable. I'm going to start coming to them at least twice a month for the remainder of my pregnancy.
I also find that their customer service is wonderful and that everyone there is very polite, kind, and warm. I recommend this place to everyone and am happy to continue supporting them!
This place is bang for the buck. Easy booking, Clean. Decent ambience and super skillful ladies that will deliver! My go to are Jessica and Zoe! All are hard working and deserving of your tips. Keep in mind cash only. And they posted recommended tips amount at the door. 1hr massage is now $45 and recommend to tip 20%.

BSM Brookline is a healing place. Dr. Rachel and all the staff are there to support the best possible treatment and recovery. I recommend this physical therapy to anyone who wants to be both worked with and pushed to better health.
This is my second time receiving physical therapy at the Brookline Bay State Physical Therapy Center. Everyone at this center is incredibly friendly and professional! It's been really helpful for my knee rehabilitation!!
I can not say enough good things about Chi if you’re looking for fertility support. After trying for baby #2 for quite a few months, a good friend referred me to Chi. Chi is thorough, so educational, supportive, sometimes it felt like a refreshing short therapy session lol. Aside from fertility needs, she is incredibly insightful about general women’s health & nutrition. I left (not only pregnant after ~6 weeks) with more knowledge & understanding about my body’s needs than I could have imagined. If I could recommend Chi 10x over I would. Believe everything you hear!
I found George through a friend who highly recommended his work, ease of making appointments, and results. He was a godsend. I had been plagued by plantar fasciitis for months and was beginning to think it would never get better. George is a miracle worker. He suggested I see him once a week till I felt better. It took about six sessions, and I am happy to say that it is healed!!! I will not hesitate to return to George for any other aches and pains.
I've had the privilege of knowing Robert both on a personal and a professional level for several years now. He's a kind, amiable person, easy to get along with and he definitely is a highly trained acupuncturist. I've worked with Robert for various issues from elbow pain to back discomfort. Lately I've been seeing him for knee pain. The results of his treatments are always great and I'm comfortable putting myself in his very capable hands.

Dr Tsay is the ONLY acupuncturist I trust. I have had debilitating back pain and weekly treatment for the last 5 weeks has been my only relief. He is simply amazing. I recommend him all day every day!!! I will continue weekly treatment as acupuncture is not only treatment but is huge in preventative care.

Dr. Hou’s diagnosis actually surprises me. He knows medicine, both Chinese and Modern.Treat you very warm! Every time when I finished acupuncture, I feel like wake up with full energy. He use small needle, which has no stimulation feeling!
