Alyssa is the best stylist I've ever seen! I never used to get regular haircuts because I never enjoyed / cared enough about a haircut to actually want to maintain it. Alyssa changed this for me! The first time I saw her, I had really long hair (before picture included) and went for a big chop, all the way down to a French bob style. She used the reference photo I gave, but also took the time to ask about how I style it and how much time I'd put in to styling it. The next time I went to see her, she had notes from the previous cut and recreated it with no problem, making adjustments for the fact that I wanted to change my part. She's also done waxing on my eyebrows and I love how she makes them look clean but natural. I am so thrilled I took the time looking through reviews until I found Hairspace Salon and Alyssa! Lastly, the VALUE. I challenge anyone to find a better price for a better cut, I don't think it's possible. Get your hair done here, you will not regret it!!!

Just a note -- one of the stylists (maybe an owner?) had her pitbull walking around freely in the salon. I thought this was unprofessional and frankly inconsiderate of any clients who may be afraid of or allergic to dogs. I won't let it affect my rating because I loved my hair so much, but I do think the salon should reconsider allowing this to happen.

I only get mani/pedis and always leave, feeling better than when I walked in! Vincent provides one of the best pedicures I have ever received & has an excellent technique! Jenny & Mai make sure to ask you what you want for nail style and execute it every time. The price is very reasonable too. The nail salon is clean and looks nice, with many decorative elements. Parking is easy and the people who work there are all good so you dont have to worry about who you get. They do a GREAT JOB and the nail polish seems to last longer for me than other places I have gone. Once they know you it feels like they will go out of their way to make the appointment you need. I've never gotten acrylic nails before and stopped by on a whim before a comedy show I was attending. The woman (may be the owner) who did my nails was friendly, polite and patient with me. She took her time, a BEAUTIFUL job and made my vision come to life. The atmosphere was very inviting and I felt very comfortable through the whole appointment. Although, I do not live in the area, I would travel to come back and get my nails done here in a heartbeat!

Big nail tech places might have more color options, but you’ll never get the personal touch that Tien and Kim’s staff gives. I’ve tried the nail salon down the road… and large nail staff often chat with well other staff, not the client. Feels awkward there.

Nunes nails is amazing! I have been a client for 5 years and the fiberglass nails are simply the best. After years of health issues my nails wouldn’t grow and now I always get compliments on them. Aline is a perfectionist and you will always leave there with your nails looking beautiful.

My manicurist took great care in removing my old gel nails and extensions - they took time to soak them off properly to preserve my natural nails and even took precaution in dealing with a crack in my nail as they were filing the gel off. I was pleased with the service and stayed for a regular gel manicure as well. They have a great selection of colors- Would be happy to return and recommend to my friends. Very reasonable prices

I really like this nail place. It’s walking distance to me and has all the nail related services for reasonable pricing. I am not super fancy and don’t get nail art very often - so for basic gel polish (or even regular polish) this place is good. They always use new tools for each session- maintain hygiene. I also like how getting appointment over call is hassle free.
The only thing is sometimes I feel rushed and they try to fit me in between on-going procedures. It has led to my cuticles bleeding sometimes. But I do enjoy the easy access to this place.

I moved to West Medford nearly ten years ago, visited this salon several times (haircuts and blowouts), and always had a good experience. I stopped going only because I found a salon close to my workplace, but I returned today to see Karen after I'd had disappointing cuts elsewhere. We discussed what I wanted, and she asked good questions about my preferences for styling and hair texture. Throughout the process, Karen was funny, warm, communicative, and offered her expertise of 40 years. The whole environment of the salon is lighthearted and welcoming. There were women of all ages getting various hairstyles, from classic bobs to modern long layers. A man also came in and received a fresh cut in record time. This is my favorite cut in years and I'm so happy to be back.
I visited the salon on Saturday to see Linda. She's new to the salon but has been cutting hair for over 20 years and she clearly knew what she was doing! I came in with my boyfriend and we both got a cut from her- we were so happy with the results! My boyfriend couldn't stop snapping pictures to show off to his friends and I ended up with some face framing layers that I'm absolutely loving. I'm really picky and I don't like letting a lot of people do my hair but I'll definitely be back. Go see Linda for men's or women's cuts/color and you definitely won'e be disappointed!

I walked in right before 6pm and got a pedicure and gel nails. Cindy was amazing! Such great attention to detail and cared about doing a good job. She gave me a massage with my pedicure and manicure that was SO good. This will definitely be my go-to spot from now on.

I'm addition, the plumber went above and beyond to explain how he installed my toilet in such a way that - many years from now- should anyone go awry, any leak would not go invisibly into the subfloor, but rather be immediately evident in the back of the toilet so you can take care of it early on before it can destroy your home. This level of care and explanation is awesome and so appreciated. Top rating for great work.

They arrived on time, fixed the door and frame in a few hours. Thanks to you and your workers, my. door works even better than it did.
Recently a storm blew a few shingles off the roof of the house. I'm 88, and wasn't going to get on the roof to fix it. I called contractors they said the job was too small for them. When I called Alcantara Construction he said he was doing a job in the area and would stop by and look at it. Before I knew it him and his workers had a ladder on the roof, fixed it, and left. I never received a bill. Thank you so much!!! I will recommend you and your workers to anyone.

We recently had our kitchen remodeled and couldn’t be happier with the results. The project included removing a support wall and they installed a structural beam, relocating several existing cabinets, building two custom pantries, updating the lighting throughout, and creating a new laundry area. Every detail was handled with care and precision.
From the start, the team took the time to understand how we use the space and offered smart design suggestions that really improved the layout. The new pantries added so much functionality and storage, and the laundry area is now far more convenient and efficient. We called Thor Construction from a recommendation. Our roof had sprung a leak in a bad storm and Bill from Thor came out within an hour of my calling. He inspected it and told me the back, dormered portion needed to be redone. The rest of the roof had a good 4 or 5 years left, he said. He recommended rigid insulation, adding ventilation that was non-existent, and going with a rubber membrane.They did the work within a weeks time as promised and in one day! We checked out the roof ourselves and everything looked immaculate. They flashed the chimney up about 6 inches, and added all vents as promised. There was no damage or debris left behind either. The quote they gave was right on as well.Bill even did a drive by the next day to check it out--the only way I knew is that he called to say there was a piece of roofing that slipped onto the front of the roof that they had missed. He said he'd come by in a day with a ladder to get it down. Good follow up too.I'd definitely recommend them, and definitely use them again!

Working with Donald and his team was great!We bought a house at the peak of the covid housing market (July '21) and did a small addition as well as gut renovated our Kitchen. When we had issues getting contractors to come out and quote we knew the timing of our project wasn't going to be ideal and feared the worst. Then we met Donald... thank god. He was reliable, easy to communicate with, and reasonably priced. Many things during covid got delayed (windows, hardware, etc. on back order) but whenever an item came in or a subcontractor finished his work Donald's team was ready the next day helping move the project along. You won't go wrong getting to work with him. What showed me the level of commitment and care he had was when he install a pocket door. I had purchased the door... he could have left after 2 hours with a result of "The door fits... but doesn't slide that well in the pocket because of some factory defects of your door...." became Donald spending 8 hours to help plane the door down and widen the pocket/wall (repainting the wall a second time) so that he left with it being " Perfect, it slides effortlessly in and out as it should". Like a homeowner, he wants to go to sleep knowing he finished every project at 110%.
Great service from start to finish. They provided mold removal and mold remediation services that made a noticeable difference. The mold cleaning removed the musty smell completely. Midway through the appointment, Brian Keaton discussed prevention tips. They also handled dryer vent inspection, dryer vent repair, and dryer vent cleaning. Would definitely use them again.

I am a first-time customer. I had a rental unit that needed some dated carpeting removed and replaced with vinyl flooring. I need this done in a timely manner to get on the market. Everett was pleasant to deal with, he gave a timely competitive quote and when agreed to, he scheduled the sub-contractor fairly quickly. Everett came to the property the first day to make sure all started off well. In 4 days, the job was done, and was left in a very clean condition. The team was very professional as well. Throughout the job, Everett was always available by mail or phone to address any questions or concerns. Everett is very professional. He knew this was a rental recommended possible cost reduction items, even though it would mean less revenue for him, he was professional in meeting my business goals. For sure I will consider using him again.
We used Kneeland to add a 2-bedroom addition on our home, which added an additional floor on part of our house. They were fantastic! They were willing to work around our funky home and were the only contractor that we spoke with that was able to keep every room in our house livable the entire time during construction! The workers were incredibly nice, prompt, and did a great job. They were very communicative the entire time. They were so nice to our toddler and became best friends with our dog! The project was completed earlier than expected and was exactly on budget. We would highly recommend them!

My daughter has been going to this practice in Westford for a few months now for some work on her teeth. She is 6 & has extreme sensory issues & ADHD. Today we saw a new doctor that she’s never seen before & had some fillings done. I wish I remembered his name, but as we were checking out she had some sort of anxiety attack and was almost ready to pass out. The dental assistants and staff were so kind & caring as well as the doctor. He was gentle,attentive & made her feel very comfortable & calm. There couldn’t have been better staff around today. Although she was a bit thrown off by a new doctor, now she’s talking about how nice everyone was to her. Thought this would be worth a shoutout. ?? Thank you all tremendously for being so patient and kind.

It’s true that Ed’s rates are higher (90 an hour), but you won’t get similar quality teaching anywhere else. Ed is very attentive and never looks at his phone while teaching you. I had a great experience with Ciao from Patience Auto School! I went in thinking I wasn’t doing well—especially with parallel parking—but Ciao constantly reassured me that I was doing excellent. He helped me build my confidence every step of the way. I truly thought I would need 10 lessons, but after just 6 lessons and 40 days later, I passed my road test and got my license on the first try! The school itself is very organized and professional. I would definitely recommend Patience Auto School, especially Ciao, to anyone looking to pass with confidence!
