“Arrived quickly and unlocked the door, but the latch that used to be fine now gets stuck often. Not sure if it’s their fault- they tried to fix it and it didn’t work.“

Commonwealth Lock Company Locksmiths

“So, we know this is the best place for keys. What gives it away is all the other companies going there.

But wait, there is more. A recent visit to recover a key lost about 100 years ago did not get resolved there. The old guy has retired. The master key gentleman did pick up the phone and checked with his list of contacts/competition.

Was able to recover a key, still very impressive business ethics, problem solving and customer focus. Amazing.

Wish more businesses were like that.“

KeyMe Locksmiths Locksmiths

“Got additional house keys made for friends visiting. I love the optional smoother cut for each key. No human locksmith has ever offered me that before. And amazingly, the copies work *better* than my original. They turn the lock more easily. I now truly believe that the kiosk scanned my key, figured out the brand of lock, and re-manufactured an original key for my lock based on factory specs, just as advertised. (For the STEM nerds out there, “the copy is a digital restoration of my worn out key, not a simple analog copy.”)

Also got my car key duplicated. It’s an old car, but still new enough to have a chip key, yet I haven’t found a human locksmith that can copy the key AND the chip. I thought I’d give KeyMe Kiosk a shot at it, expecting refusal. But it accepted the challenge! The key wasn’t made on the spot: they express mailed it to me days later, and it successfully starts the car (yay!) BUT it WON’T OPEN THE TRUNK. (Argh.) Would’ve given 5 stars if it weren’t for that.“
