Dr. Aristides Exarchos recently performed an endodontic procedure on an upper rear molar that had been giving me discomfort. During my initial consultation with him, he methodically tested the tooth, and determined whether or not the procedure would be necessary. To my relief, he determined that the tooth was an appropriate candidate for an endodontic procedure. On my follow up visit, he expertly prepped the tooth to be worked on, and efficiently performed procedure, all the while I experienced no pain or discomfort due to his taking proper anesthetic precautions. Last night 33% of the back of a front tooth gave way. There was no pain because the tooth had undergone a root canal 12 years earlier. However, there was some urgency. I am a musician, a trombone player. A strong line of lower front teeth is critical to playing my instrument. I need to practice every day. And I have a concert coming up next month. The breakaway occurred at 6 PM one evening. The next day I called the Restorative Dental Group and explained the situation. They gave me an appointment at 2 PM the same day. I arrived on time and left with the tooth fully restored as if nothing had gone awry 36 minutes later.
