Steve at Art-craft retiled our shower and fixed drywall as needed during project. He is a perfectionist and did a beautiful job matching tile to our 30 year old bathroom. Everyone else wanted to completely redo entire bathroom which was still functional and in good shape. We are 72 years old and don’t want to spend that money. He is honest, hardworking, and gives great advice.

Tri-State Carpet Inc. did an amazing job replacing the old, worn-out carpets throughout our second floor. The installers were friendly, focused, and completed the entire project ahead of schedule. They moved the heavy furniture carefully and reinstalled all the baseboards cleanly without leaving a single scratch on the walls. The quality of the laying and padding is top-notch, and the rooms feel completely refreshed.

The salon is intimate, welcoming, friendly, and sophisticated. Bartolo's talent is truly astounding. My hair is not easy to cut and style. It is curly/wavy, fine, and unruly. Bartolo took one look at it and knew exactly what to do. I don't think I have ever had a cut I have been this happy with. I will never go anywhere else.

My hair has never been this straight! It’s also never lasted this long. I’ve gone a week without even needing to touch it up! I walked in and immediately got my hair washed. She washed it 3 times then conditioned my hair and combed it out more gently than I could. Then the woman who shot my hair meticulously blow dried every section, then strengthen a pined it up. She took her time to make sure I would love the final product! I will always come to straighten.

I feel like I need to say thank you in excess to B-tan. The tanning salon I typically use is around the corner; a smaller facility yet more affordable to us single moms. But, it’s short staffed- leaving customers SOL when an employee pulls a last minute “call in sick.” I only tan once a week so pulling up to a closed salon is beyond frustrating. But B-tans is always open when that happens. FYI: the complimentary towel provided to use after your session isn’t in the room - you have to grab it before you go in to your session. I usually forget bc no other salon I’ve been to does it that way, so I’m not used to it. Just wanted to give a heads up incase you sweat like I do. Reason for only 4 stars; I’ve only been there a few times but each time, I use a different bed and every one of them either has a bulb out, one side gets way hotter than the other or I just see no difference in my skin tone really at all afterwards. I do tan very easily due to my ethnicity. My typical results : visible immediately upon exiting the bed . I’d love a nice even “bake” for 10-12 minutes with all fresh, hot bulbs. At Almost $40 for one session, I feel like thats a bit steep for beds to be missing bulbs/ not operating at full capacity. Other than that, consistent hours is a huge plus and a great, very welcoming, friendly staff.

I was especially lucky to have Kathy as my technician. ⭐⭐⭐ She recommended a better option for my nails instead of dip powder, and even though the design I brought was pretty detailed, she did an amazing job! I was also really impressed by how carefully she checked multiple times to make sure all of my nails were even and the same length.

I stopped in spur of the moment to get a pedicure. The young man who did my feet seemed inexperienced but overall did a good job. I will say that while the salon may be a little run down in appearance, they take sanitation seriously. After the tech finished her clients nails and eyebrows, I watched her disinfect every surface at her station and go clean the waxing room. This is important, especially in this day and age.
Out of all the places I've been in Delaware... by far hands down my favorite place for gel mani/pedi. Great attention to detail.

My old Maytag dryer was not heating and I was about to replace it. I called Nicky at Riteway. He came out the same day. Had the part on his truck and also advised me to change the long silver lint filter. He was nice enough to give me time to pick one up and when he took the old one off, it was loaded with lint. Honestly, could have caused a fire. I was so happy with the job. He is such a nice pleasant guy :):)
I have to really plan and commend John Z and Hawkins & Sons with all the support and assistance in securing an oven not only replaced my 48 inch Viking, but was able to be installed in a very old & narrow historic home.
A considerable amount of time was spent with their researching a variety of different ovens, as well as sending out the team to fully assess the possibility of installation as well as removal of the former 48 inch oven.
All around I so appreciate the support and extensive research and the big kudos out to the installation team as well who managed the removal of the old oven and the installation of the new without any hiccups or damage to home of belongings!

Bob and Josh did a fantastic job cleaning mold off of 128 upholstered church chairs. I was primarily concerned with the method of cleaning the chairs with it being mold when I was looking for someone to clean them. Bob was super friendly and explained their cleaning process very well. The mold was gone from the chairs, and they were dry completely within an hour! I would not want to use anyone else for carpet or upholstery cleaning. Thanks, Bob!

No job to big or small and will continue to use them in the future . They use shoe booties , they put stuff on your floor and wall where the hose comes in the door to protect it from rubbing the wall and staining or chipping it. The small details make all the difference and they don’t miss !

A few months ago, I came in with blinds that needed to be repaired (the drum broke). I searched all over Delaware and Luckily, I came across this gem!!! The same day I called them, my blinds were fixed!This GEM, is the only game in town that will fix blinds!!I got to meet the owner Dennis, he was super informative, sweet and told a great backstory on when Reiver started. They moved the heavy furniture carefully and reinstalled all the baseboards cleanly without leaving a single scratch on the walls. We recently had our 75-year-old red oak floors refinished by Delaware Valley Hardwoods, and the results are amazing. The floors look brand new and are now completely flat, the level of craftsmanship really shows.
One thing that really stood out was their dustless sanding system. It truly lived up to the name, there was virtually no dust, which made a huge difference during the project.

My wife and I are both extremely satisfied with the job that Ceccola Construction has done for us. The new siding looks fantastic and the work crew did a terrific job. We had watched the workers reside our neighbors house the previous year and were impressed with the professionalism that they had shown. Having wanted to have our home updated, and have the 54 year old asbestos removed for quite some time, we reached out to Ceccola Construction for an estimate. They responded quickly and gave us a fair and honest estimate for the entire job with a complete breakdown of the cost of every aspect of the job. We had received an unsolicited estimate from another company and their price was almost double the quote Ceccola Construction gave us. It is comforting to know that there are still honest and respectable businessman like Chris still around.

Graydon Hurst & Sons came to the rescue! The entry way to the exterior basement steps have been an eye sore for several years now. Plus the retaining walls were caving inward a little bit each year. So much so, that we could not open the storm door at all.

There have been some concerns about the Geese Chasers, but I spoke with Amanda and she laid my concerns to rest about the necessity of the Geese Chasers for the health and welfare of the neighborhood.
The geese can often carry listeria which is spread through their feces, which they leave all over roads, sidewalks, and parking lots, causing serious health concerns: things I did not know and should have been responsible enough to look up.
I apologize, Amanda, for misunderstanding, and thank you for taking the time to explain the situation to me so clearly and thoughtfully and educate me on the seriousness of the issue.

I called a few tree services to give me quotes and decided to use Poplar Tree Services. Mike (the owner) was responsive, on time and easy to deal with. Before my mother passed away, she planted a Crape Myrtle in the front yard of her house. I inherited the house. It's a beautiful tree in the Summer, but it's very sensitive to wind and rain and requires regular pruning to make it look it's best. I have tried other companies, but I came back. I can always count on Mark my Arborist and The Davey Tree Expert Company to take care of my tree. My mother would be happy.

The dentist took the time to really listen, examine, and make sure nothing was actually wrong with my tooth—only to discover the real issue was TMJ. I haven't been to a dentist in over 10 years... I only go if I have a problem:( I know terrible) I cracked my tooth bottom right in the back so I went to see who was in network. I lucked up and found Dr. Russo and hygienist Brittany. The entire staff from the front desk Ms. Danielle who was extremely kind and patient with me:) to the wonderful woman who (chatted about the superbowl) did all my X-rays with speed and accuracy. I must say due to this pleasant experience they're my new dental providers!!! I even got a little teary eyed not because it hurt but when Brittany was doing my cleaning she brought out a strip of floss and the last person to floss my teeth was my mom and she passed away... the entire experience was the best visit I have ever had with a dental practice. After switching dental insurance, I had to switch dentist offices and decided to go with New Concept Dental since it’s right down the road from my house. I’m very happy with that decision.
I had a pretty extensive appointment yesterday, two crowns and a filling, and ended up being there for several hours. Shout-out to Dr. Monet, Lisa, and Brittany for going above and beyond to make sure I was in as little pain as possible. Unlike experiences I’ve had with dentists in the past, they actually listened when I told them the anesthesia was wearing off and gave me more when needed to make sure I stayed comfortable throughout the procedures.
They’re able to make crowns right in the office, which is incredibly convenient, although it does mean some waiting while they’re being made. One of my crowns wasn’t fitting quite right because my teeth are very close together and grooved, so they took the time to make a new one rather than settling for a fit that was too tight or asking me to come back for another appointment.
What really stood out to me was how kind everyone was throughout the entire day. The staff continually checked on me, chatted with me, and genuinely kept me company during all of the waiting. Spending several hours at the dentist obviously isn’t how anyone wants to spend their day, but they made the experience so much better than it could have been.
I really appreciated how friendly, kind, and thorough everyone was, and I’m very happy I chose New Concept Dental!

Sharp sciatica pain shooting down my right leg sought me to seek out the help of a chiropractor. I had tried those exercises on Google, but nothing seemed to help. Then, I remember my good friend talked about Rosenthal Chiropractic, so I made an appointment. My appointment was with Dr. Marini, second in command who elevated my problem which stem from a problem in my vertebrae, so he developed a treatment a plan. I must admit the first several visits I was skeptical, and my sciatica was still bothering me. Then, my body started to respond to the various adjustments being made to my body, and I honestly started to feel better. At this writing, I have no pain, and it's been a little over a month. (Everyone is different). As I was being treated Dr. Marini told be to continue my normal activities. I had stopped going to the gym because I did not want to aggregate the pain. So, on the advice of Dr. Marini I continued my normal activities. I also developed a positive attitude which I have no doubt helped me to heal faster. I highly recommend Rosenthal Chiropractic. In addition, the receptionist at Rosenthal Chiropractic who makes the appointments is lovely. Go and be healed!

Windcrest Animal Hospital has been our vet for quite some time and with new additions of a bunny and some birds we have gotten the pleasure of meeting Dr. Julian. Dr. Julian sincerely cares about all the animals and you can feel it in his actions. If you're in need of a small animal vet Dr. Julian is definitely the way to go.

Been using Wilmington Animal Hospital for years with a couple of forays to other practices. I have watched the practice evolve and the staff change. I continue to use them because they are so good with my cats and good with me.
We have been coming to Windcrest for years using their services for wellness, emergency and boarding. They are fabulous and show care and compassion for our pets. When we boarded our dogs while on an overseas trip and one became critically ill they provided several updates a day on her condition. Melissa went so far as buying chicken and preparing for our girl to see if she would eat. they may be a little pricey for emergency care but you get what you pay for. We will keep coming back!
We love Amy and the excellent care she provides for our two little dogs. She treats them like her own and always pays close attention to our wishes for how we like our pups to look. She has a super-professional setup without the hassle of a big studio.

They are hands-down the BEST grooming experience we’ve had for our dogs — and we have 2–3 dogs at a time, including a senior dog who gets very anxious and afraid of loud noises. They are always so patient, gentle, and genuinely caring with her, which means everything to us.
The woman who works there is incredibly kind and compassionate. She even expressed her condolences for both our dog Buddy and my brother, which was such a thoughtful gesture during a difficult time. That level of empathy is so rare these days.
We also had a little miscommunication where my mom and I thought we could bring our dog anytime that day, but the appointment was actually scheduled sharply for noon. Even with the confusion, they handled everything with so much grace and understanding instead of making us feel bad or stressed.
On top of that, they helped put on non-slip toe grips for my dog — something I couldn’t even manage to do myself — and they didn’t charge us extra for it. They truly go above and beyond.
The care, patience, and kindness at Silly Dogs are unmatched. SO much better than places like Petco where your pets just feel like another number. You can tell the people here genuinely love animals and care about the families attached to them too.
I recently started attending sessions here and have seen great results. There are sessions for all levels of practice and capable instructors. The instructors have been able to take me through progressions that directly addressed pockets of tension leading to alot of relief! Great calming vibe as well.
Only visiting DE and took 2 classes here, but have been to many studios.
Laura is an amazing teacher who has a way of connecting with the students and tailoring the class so we all feel a touch of personalization.
The space is welcoming and has a community feel to it. Plenty of quality props and mats to be loaned out. The heating is present without being stifling because good airflow is maintained

A wonderful experience for my first prenatal massage. Christin was communicative and had a great energy from booking through the actual massage itself. I was incredibly relaxed and well taken care of. Will definitely be back and highly recommend!

For a deep tissue massage Nuru type, I got a full hour with instant confirmation, then I sorted my upfront payment with her, after which I got my reservation code from her, and also, a seamless communication throughout.

eric is the best PT I’ve ever seen and gave me a whole new outlook on an injury i’ve been trying to build strength from for almost 4 years now. he’s so knowledgeable about what he does and you can tell he loves doing it which really makes a difference in his work compared to others. for anyone thinking of trying next month therapy, just do it. You won’t regret it. i will be going back after my surgery in june & i don’t think i’d trust anyone else with turning me back to good shape!
Rachel proved to be an excellent PT and help me rid myself of a painful sciatica. She prescribed exercises that I did while on vacation and the pain is gone.

Dr. Murray takes his time and listens to you as well as makes sure you comfortable with how he adjusts you. I’ve shown up without an appointment and they will still see me in a very timely manner. I can’t say enough great things about them!

This place is the best for getting back to yourself after injury. The care, concern, and the confidence displayed here are unmatched anywhere. I walked in a stranger months ago and over the last few months everyone here has become family like. During my good days and bad days with my injury the staff never switched up and always stayed the course with me. I have taken the refresher course every three years and each time I have enjoyed it. I have gained information from the course every single time. What’s more I absolutely love the way the D Team presents the material. I wish every single driver on the road (in all states not just Delaware) took this course. Driving is a privilege not a right and should not be taken for granted or done without respect. As well I wish drivers could appreciate that they are operating a potential weapon (large moving objects that can cause harm and death to self and others).Out of all the numerous online courses and training I have taken over the years in various subjects, I like this online course the best because of the way it is presented. I wish my CLEs used a similar model to educate and help their students retain their material.I highly recommend this course.
