“Dr. Kim literally saved my life. Small cell lung cancer diagnosis received by Beebe Hospital, in my car, by email, on a Wednesday evening. Called Dr Kim when I got home 10 minutes later, and she had me send her the email I received. I sent it to her at 6 o'clock on Wednesday night. At 11 o'clock Thursday morning I had a call from John's Hopkins to schedule an appointment and met with Dr. Hann Friday morning, treatment plan in hand, beginning Monday morning. Beebe didn't even call to discuss my diagnosis until the following Wednesday. SCLC is extremely aggressive and that delay could have made a huge difference. Dr Kim had the wherewithal and the connections to get me to Hopkins that fast. My survival rate is now 5 years with a possibility of remission because of Dr Kim!”
