my first visit with Dr. Maguire and his team was last week for an oral challenge with a potential allergen. This involved hanging around in a hospital gown (and jeans) ALL afternoon, being checked on every 15-20 minutes, ending with a conversation with Dr. Maguire. The nurse monitoring was great at making me feel comfortable and our conversations helped the hours go by quickly. Dr. Maguire gave a clear statement that i had shown no reaction to the challenge and we discussed what that implied in the context of my wider medical situation.
Overall, a positive experience with clearly knowledgeable folks. My only suggestion - there should be blankets available for these long challenge experiments.
This was a wonderful experience. The massage therapist who worked on me felt very professional and applied just the right amount of pressure. My back pain has improved significantly. The environment here is elegant and comfortable, and the prices are reasonable. I will definitely be coming back again.
Dr. Folan was very nice and very helpful. He was concerned about my issue and prescribed medicine which is helping me.
Dr. Joseph Ta is a masterful ENT specialist. He rapidly solicits patient information and does immediate scoping and testing as needed. Dr. Ta presents a clear diagnosis, treatment alternatives, and recommendations for the patient. He is clearly expert in the field and proceeds in a reasonable step by step manner directed at long term relief for the patient.
This was introduction appointment with dr Young. He listened carefully, ordered some tests, after which we will discuss future actions. I regret I didn’t come sooner.
It was our 1st time visit with an enticing $75 promotion for being a new customer. Cesia was absolutely great and is a very caring groomer. She found 3 foxtails on my dog’s back paw and ensured it was bandaged up. She was also very proactive in suggesting the right summer shave (which was contrary to mine) and I’m so glad she did! My doodle was so calm during and after the grooming session - the pink walls and the treats! Thank you Cesia and we will be back!

It has become my go to place to be pampered and well taken care of. Once checked in they provide water and snacks. And depending on when you go (holiday) they give out roses or small gifts for their guests. They are great with massages with nail services. I just love this place whenever I needed so me time. Incredible job by Thu and Annie with the citrus nails. Thu did my dip with tip and Annie finished off with perfect nail art for the summer. They were patient and accommodating. Thu shaped my nails in a way I haven’t yet done and I love it! Annie helped pick the best colors for my art and was so fast. I had my nails done again to prep for my trip to the South of France and they did an incredible job. It's been 2 weeks abroad, swimming in the Mediterranean, and they're still going strong.

I found Shayda via Google search and want to say she is fantastic. Super convenient location with free parking garage around the corner. Shayda colored my gray roots, added balanced highlights all around my head (vs how I came in with a few around my face which were too brassy). She also dyed and trimmed eyebrows and cut an inch off my hair. She went out of her way to keep the dye off of my forehead and neck. I am back for a second round of coloring a month later, and reminded how great she is.
I’ve been going here for almost a year now and I can honestly say Grissel is the best! Her attention to detail on brows is amazing, and she’s always so gentle and precise throughout the entire appointment. She truly cares about her work and it shows every time. John the Barber does great men’s haircuts here! He used to work at Sam’s on Lytton around the corner. Same price now at Color Theory. I tried ~10 barbers in PA and RWC and my wife liked John’s cuts the best, so he’s been cutting my hair for a few years now. 10/10 recommend!

I received my first no glue lash lift ever and am incredibly pleased! I've always had short Asian lashes and wanted to try a lash lift to avoid having to curl my lashes/use makeup. My good friend recommended Olivia and she was very kind, gentle, and elevated my lashes with great expertise, elegance, and care. She asked how I wanted my lashes to appear (i.e. more natural or more open-eyed) and answered all my aftercare questions. Her store and setup is very clean and the whole process went seamlessly in only ~30 minutes. I highly recommend Olivia & Lash for a beautiful self-care refresh!

It took me years to find someone who not only put in the years it takes to become a professional and own their own business but to truly know SKIN, understand the reasons why your skin is behaving the way it is and know how to treat it. Everything we do in our lives has impact on our skin and Lisa knows how to figure it out and help us adjust it. Also, she has found numerous spots that we were able to catch skin cancer early (even before my 3month check ups). She does not push products and always suggests something you can purchase on your own. I simply can not say enough about Lisa. Donald for massage - he is truly amazing and hands down the best massage therapist I've ever had (and I have been to many over the years). He has amazing technique and knows exactly what to do in order to provide immediate and lasting relief from aches, pains, and spasms. I have become a regular due to how incredible his technique is. Chronic and acute pains are relieved immediately after seeing Donald and there is almost never any lingering muscle soreness afterward. Donald is so so friendly and always goes above and beyond to provide a relaxing environment and amazing massage.
Kim for nails - she always does a perfect job and knows what shapes and colors look best. While La Belle is a bit pricier than the usual nail joint - it's worth paying extra knowing you'll have an appointment, on time, and a comfortable and relaxing environment.
Nicole for facials - she is so so good and knows all the products and is able to adjust and customize based on skin type. No matter what facial I get with Nicole - my skin always feel and looks amazing afterward.
My first time there Ms. Nina was so welcoming and so cheerful. I love her energy. The environment was so calming and very clean. The massage was impeccable. I am definitely going to return. I had the fill body massage for 1 hr and it may have been a little longer than that but however long it was, it felt so rejuvenated afterwards.
I recommend Ms. Nina wholeheartedly, she makes you feel like your at home and she gives you your privacy before and after the massage to get undressed and dressed, very polite.

Victor repaired a 15-year-old LG TV of mine with a bad power supply and told me a lot about it and the industry in the process. He also pointed out all of the components on the board he had repaired, and was methodical about how he took the TV apart and then tested it and then put it back together. I would definitely use him again. Feels so nice not to have to throw this otherwise perfectly good TV in the trash.

We had a leak in our 2F bathtub which was done by another contractor. I was expecting the worst case scenario where we had to replace the whole bath tub, and that is when Roy's team came in. They were very fair about their quote, and recommended to first only charge the opening of the 1F ceiling to assess the leak. Daniel and the team worked really hard to find and fix the problem, so we ended up not needing to replace the bath tub and minimized the cost. We liked them so much that we plan to do a kitchen cabinet replacement with them soon.
After having started out home renovation, we set out to look for a landscape architect that could design on challenging terrain that needed engineering. We wanted a design and build firm that would take responsibility for the entire project; we also knew it would be no small feat to find someone that met our need for excellent design and the ability to actually build what was designed on our land. We ended up with a beautifully designed, low maintenance space that is so much better than what we could have envisioned. The staff here are professionals and do an excellent job running the office and supporting the dentists in the practice. Appointments run on schedule and the staff are friendly, approachable and great at accommodating patient needs and answering questions. They do estimates of the cost of your needed dental work and review it in detail with you, accounting for insurance coverage, before any procedure. One thing I appreciate are the automated text messages for both appointment calendaring and for appointment reminders. There is ample off street parking. Dr. Beckstead is a knowledgeable dentist with very good skills and experience and he has a great “chair-side” manner. He is empathetic and uses the latest dentistry technology which makes the whole experience positive.
Great team! Dr. Daftarian and her team are incredible! She’s very knowledgeable, kind, and patient and I only wish I found her sooner. I was a patient for over 8 years and was so sad when I moved out of state. This year I chipped a tooth from an accident and a Colorado dentist quoted >$5,000. I called Dr. Qian for a second opinion, who looked at the photos and shared her recommended approach and cost. I flew all the way to CA to have Dr. Qian complete the dental work as a trusted doctor. Needless to say, the results are awesome and I paid just under her estimated quote of ~$1,000. On time, on budget and most importantly she gave me the proper care I needed instead of a lot of other unnecessary procedures to pad the bill or create other problems with teeth that were healthy.Whenever in town, I still go to Dr. Qian's office for my regular cleanings and maintenance. We couldn't be more happy with our dentist, Dr. Stan Bjalajac, and his practice in Palo Alto. Dr. Stan is a perfectionist, and his eye is spot-on - he's helped me with some complicated stuff and the results are great. He's also a really nice person.
Finding a dentist who doesn't treat your mouth like a cash cow is tough, but this practice has real integrity. My previous clinic gave me a massive, overpriced treatment plan claiming I needed five fillings. I came here for a second opinion. The doctor did a thorough exam, showed me the digital X-rays, and proved that three of those were just minor, stable spots that only need monitoring, not drilling. Ended up paying a fraction of the price for the actual work needed. Highly respect their honesty.

I have been working with Dr Aaron at Vanderhoof Sport and Wellness Institute since May for shockwave therapy and the care has been consistently excellent. He pays close attention to detail and really tracks how the injury is responding over time instead of treating each session as a one off.
What stood out most was how intentional he is about checking in and making sure progress is actually happening. He is willing to adjust treatment based on what my body needs and he does not just go through a routine. He actively works toward full recovery. The level of follow through and care has been above and beyond throughout my rehab. I would definitely recommend him.
Dr. Rikke is exceptional! Her motto, “keep moving!”, is some of the best advice a medical practitioner can give. And when you encounter issues along the way, she has the depth of knowledge and experience to address— and then help you to avoid— the issues that crop up! Five stars. For sure!
I've been seeing Naseem Gorgani for the last year or so. After having gone to many different chiropractic and physical therapist, it was Naseem , who finally was able to diagnose what might be going on with me, direct me to the help I needed and asking me to see a nurologist. I still go to Naseem on a regular basis since the therapy helps me a lot. Overall, it's been a night and day improvement in my back and neck .
Her staff is great- Melody , is a fantastic massage therapist and Nagali is an amazing front office manage.
They have a great location in Palo Alto.

Dr. Janelle is an amazing chiropractor! I worked with her prenatal and postnatal in all three of my pregnancies. She helped my body to feel prepared, comfortable and strong throughout this otherwise very uncomfortable stage of life. She is also a warm and lovely human being, in top of being a great chiropractor. I cannot recommend her enough!

I highly recommend Kelsey Chung! I visited the Berman Skin Institute 2 weeks ago for a medical consultation. As I was new to the clinic, I initially was hesitant in discussing my concerns. However, not only was Kelsey patient, but she walked me through a treatment plan that felt personalized - allowing me to move forward with a treatment option that best suited my needs. Kelsey was very empathetic making me feel comfortable during a medical visit and eased any concerns that I had. After deciding to go forward with the surgery, I reached out to Kelsey with additional questions, and she was very quick to respond even during non-buisness hours! Additionally, the staff is very respectful and accommodating! 10/10 visit, I definitely will be continuing to visit the practice.

Saying goodbye to our 16-year-old calico cat, Raisin, was one of the hardest things we’ve ever had to do, but Dr. Winnick from Peaceful Pathway made the experience as peaceful and comforting as it possibly could have been.
She was incredibly responsive to my texts and was able to make an appointment the very same day. She arrived right on time and immediately brought such a calm, gentle presence into our home. She was soft-spoken, kind, patient, and treated Raisin with so much love and dignity throughout the entire process.
One detail that touched us deeply was that she brought Raisin a treat before everything began, which felt so thoughtful and compassionate. Afterward, she carefully wrapped her in a beautiful warm fuzzy blanket to take her away, and knowing Raisin was being cared for so tenderly brought us so much comfort during such a heartbreaking moment.
Dr. Winnick handled this incredibly difficult experience with such grace, empathy, and professionalism. I truly cannot recommend her and Peaceful Pathway enough to anyone who may need these services for a beloved pet. We are so grateful for the care and kindness she showed our sweet Raisin and our family.
My dog had a severe eye injury and Vision Care for Animals was able to schedule a consult within the day. We scheduled surgery within a couple of days and my dog made a full recovery. They did excellent work I highly recommend them to anyone.

YogaSix has become my go-to yoga studio. They offer a great variety of classes, and I've loved being able to mix things up depending on what I'm looking for that day. I've taken Slow Flow, Power Flow, Restore, and Sculpt. Power Flow and Sculpt are definitely more challenging and are great when I'm in the mood for something that feels a bit more like a Pilates-style workout, while Slow Flow and Restore offer a more traditional yoga experience.
One thing I really appreciate is how welcoming and respectful the studio is. The staff are always kind, and the instructors bring such positive energy to every class. Even when classes are full, the studio never feels overcrowded. There's always enough space between me and my neighbors. I'm usually not a fan of heated workouts, but for the heated classes, the temperature here feels very manageable. Unlike some other studios I've tried, I never felt dizzy or nauseous from the heat.
I also love how thoughtful they are about consent and personal preferences. They provide cards that allow you to indicate whether or not you'd like hands-on adjustments from the instructors. At the end of class, instructors ask us to wave if you prefer not to have the scented towel (usually lavender or citrus) waved over you. The instructors also celebrate class milestones and make everyone feel recognized (I got a shout-out after completing my third class!). These small details really show how much they care about creating a comfortable environment for everyone.
Overall, I love the variety of classes, the supportive instructors and staff, the emphasis on consent and comfort, and the cleanliness of the studio. Highly recommend!
Patricia’s Aging with Grace classes online and chair classes at the Palo Alto Library have helped me feel stronger, more balanced, and more connected to my body. Her recent retreat at Ratna Ling in the hills of the Sonoma Coast was a perfect blend of movement and reflection.
Life-changing, so restorative...one session did more than one year of therapy and acupuncture combined. It's like acupuncture without the needles and can be truly integrated outside of sessions. Jenn is a holistic and somatic healer and integrates so much wisdom and teachings that also include meditation concepts. I'm in my early 30s, and wish I had started this sooner. I didn't realize how much fascia/muscle release would relieve my anxiety and stress. I feel eternally grateful for Jenn's therapy and support!
I had an awesome experience at Yoga Source. The studio is super clean, super chill, and has such good vibes. The instructors really know their stuff, and they’re super down-to-earth and patient, making sure everyone no matter their level feels comfortable. The classes were put together really well and left me feeling totally relaxed but also recharged. I loved the friendly atmosphere and how they made sure our form was on point. Definitely a spot I’m stoked to come back to!
Was feeling like I needed to wake my body up before I got back into some training...my outcomes were much more sustainable. Marcel is communicative, welcoming, provides clear expectations, space for client control and results. Did the 10 series. Each session had a different focus, but felt connected to one another. I experienced greatest/obvious impact early on (session 1) it felt like my walking gate completely reset...it was awesome, like reconnecting my brain and legs. I've played soccer for years and no doubt my body has been compensating one way or another for as long as I can remember - I started feeling balance. This kicked started a series of sessions/results that ultimately increased my full body range of motion, improved posture and core engagement, created a sense of deeper breathing, and feeling of flow in my movements. It's been about 3 months and I still can feel the effects...my mind/body connection is much stronger (like knowing immediately what to stretch/change if something feels off and being more confident on when to take breaks or lean in harder with exercises). I've been able to train and play soccer with more ease, less strain. Keeping it real, this is an investment. I decided I could redirect some spending to prioritize my body and health - my results were definitely worth it. Thank you, Marcel!
This was a wonderful experience. The massage therapist who worked on me felt very professional and applied just the right amount of pressure. My back pain has improved significantly. The environment here is elegant and comfortable, and the prices are reasonable. I will definitely be coming back again.
Wendy demonstrated an extensive knowledge in multiple therapies and massage. She applied the Marma Point therapy to a sharply painful arthritic knee that provided immediate and long lasting relief. The experience was peaceful and worked so well.

Love this place and massage therapist Steve. Big issue for me today were glade plug-in air fresheners. I have reactive airway to these chemicals, and many with nausea or pain (folks who often seek body work) have these conditions worsened by strong scents, which is why hospitals have policies against th. Hope you stick to/switch back to essential oils only as I’d like to be able to come back. Thanks!

Very easy to communicate with clear process. 90 min massage for $160 is a deal to me especially when incorporating so much intuition and various modalities- walked in with a specific concern that was actually NOT the area that needed the most support and I love when massage therapists can use their knowledge in this way. I have been enjoying and feeling rejuvenated after every visit at k.o.massagetherapy. Once I was in such a bad shape, I was able to put my socks on after her treatment. Since I discovered Kaylynn four yrs ago, I have been gifting various types of massages and 90-min specials to all adults in my house and the feedback has been consistently of delight, praise and appreciation for her attentiveness and genuine care for the well-being of her clients. Mark will change your life. My regular doctor was sending me to an orthopedic surgeon to consider having surgery next month. Referred to Mark by a friend. Mark spent one hour with me a week ago and worked out my SI…. Realized when I laid down my left leg was slightly longer, and when I set up, it was slightly shorter, which meant something was tight. It was throwing everything off. The regular doctor will send you right into surgery or throw a drug at it. Through various stretches and massages… debilitating pain that prevent me from walking normal on my left ankle and forget about leaning over with my lower back - it all went away in about two days after seeing him. Miracle worker. Canceling orthopedic surgeon appt.

I also really appreciate her added background as a functional medicine practitioner and her expertise in manual therapy. Yaping has this unique, unworldly way of working with people. Her heart is completely in her work, and she cares so much about her patients. She intuitively knows where blocks are in your body w/o you having to say much, and uses CranioSacral Therapy as a healing technique (that not many people know).
