my first visit with Dr. Maguire and his team was last week for an oral challenge with a potential allergen. This involved hanging around in a hospital gown (and jeans) ALL afternoon, being checked on every 15-20 minutes, ending with a conversation with Dr. Maguire. The nurse monitoring was great at making me feel comfortable and our conversations helped the hours go by quickly. Dr. Maguire gave a clear statement that i had shown no reaction to the challenge and we discussed what that implied in the context of my wider medical situation.
