I always feel confident leaving my dog in their care, and it’s obvious from the excitement every visit that my dog loves being there too. “Dee is wonderful, she is incredibly caring, patient, and flexible. She's willing to adjust her training plans and methods based on each dog's personality and individual needs. Pepper is a frustrated greeter, and he was flown from Indonesia to Canada, so he came to us carrying a lot of additional stress. For the first few months after we got him, we dreaded taking him for walks because he would make a scene whenever he saw another dog.

With Dee's help, walks have become so much easier and more manageable. I also think Pepper enjoys them much more now. He has started taking treats outside, which he refused to do before, and he even has a little bounce in his steps during walks. While Pepper still reacts occasionally when he sees other dogs, the intensity of his reactions has decreased significantly.

“Serena was the most amazing trainer I had worked with. Despite being fully trained, I took my dog to her classes for social training as he was nervous around other dogs. Through her patience and kindness, my Ollie began to feel comfortable around familiar dogs and to my excitement even when played with a few choice dogs. Ollie always got super excited when we grabbed all the items for his class. I absolutely loved Serena just as Ollie did and will continue to recommend her in a heartbeat. “I am super happy with how supportive Tara was in the 1:1 sessions with my reactive Australian Shepherd. There was a lot of information (that was overwhelming at times) but Tara offered a lot of encouragement, and was able to really build my confidence in helping my dog manage his fears. Our last session with Tara was a couple of months ago and I’m really proud of how far my dog and I have come with Tara’s help! We also did the good manners class with Tara and that provided us a good foundation for the home environment. I highly recommend DogWorks!“
