Had a Good experience getting my tints done. The process took about an hour and a half and the customer service was excellent! I was extremely pleased with the service. Had my eyebrows threaded by Shuku, she was able to accommodate me on short notice which I appreciated. Shuku was meticulous and made sure I was happy with the results. The brows were very clean and even. The cost was $25.99 at time of posting, which is fair for the location in my opinion. Would return again!

I got a hair bleach and colour service as the salon was running a promotion. Although I used to frequent Hair Bank Bloor while I was living downtown, the quality and service at their uptown location still wowed me! Having had previous hair colour/bleaching services done in the past, I was impressed with the level of efficiency and expertise here. My hair is still strong after multiple rounds of bleaching and Laura and her assistant were very kind and knowledgeable in answering my questions. As a family-run operation, they were also very hospitable to me during my long hair service, offering tea and baked goods.I only take off one star because I felt that Laura and her assistant were quite rough when touching my head and hair. I have extremely fine and breakable hair and any sort of aggressive brushing or pulling snaps my hair. I'm not sure why it was so hasty since the salon was not necessarily busy (I doubt they intended to be harsh) but it was extremely uncomfortable at times with the pulling during bleach application and the hair washing by Laura. I heard and saw some hairs snap during the application process.Other notable mentions: clean shop with free on site parking + they honoured the promotion price we discussed although they added a colour removal service and small trim, which at other salons would have caused a big markup

I have been following Mckyle everywhere he goes because he is the best in the business. Not only does he know how to give the most precise fades, he also has had a lot of experience cutting and trimming the top. He is a perfectionist who doesn’t rush his service. Highly recommend. You can find parking at the back of the building, just press “legacy” and there are commercial parking spots available almost right when you enter.

I came to Maki to get my first ever manicure, and it was the most wonderful experience! I showed her my Pinterest board of nail ideas and she put together a beautiful design for me - I couldn’t stop staring at my nails afterwards :) She was so gentle and meticulous while filing, and time flew by so fast because she’s great at making conversation. Her demeanour was kind and comforting. My nails are 4 weeks old now with absolutely no chips or issues. Chloe also did my lashes and I was really happy with the results! Even though it’s pretty far from me, it’s absolutely worth the trip and I can’t wait to go back ☺️

Meenaz Beauty Spa is professional, clean and well appointed with an overall relaxing atmosphere. Meenaz herself is a consumate professional who clearly demonstrates her years of experience with her excellent techniques. Her waxing skills are very good, but my goodness, her eyebrow threading technique is absolutely incredible. I have had my eyebrows threaded by many professionals over the years, yet no one has ever done such a neat, quick, pinch, pull, and pain-free treatment ever. Her skills are unmatched. If you want to try threading, please try with her.

RAJVI she is so sweet ❤️. She did a amazing job on putting layers into my hair. She really went above and behond to give me care and attention. I was booked for a cut and colour highlights but unfortunately had to decline the highlights and low lights as the price was very close to 600$ with cut. I was absolutely shocked at the price and had to decline as i expected to pay around 300$ . When i decined the colour and just got the cut. What I truely loved about Rajvi was She didn't make me feel bad and even gave me such a attentionin the cut and added a complementry treatment. I felt bad that i had booked her time and had to decline but she didn't seem upset or angry she even said we could speak to a manager but i decined that too because thats embarrassing. she was just really understanding that the price quoted was not in my budget. I will definitely come back for a cut. BUT Unfortunately I won't be getting any other colour at DBK as the price has just gotten out of my reach to afford.

I got my lashes done (lash lift), tho it's my first time, Kim made it feel light as she made the whole experience enjoyable with a nice interaction, great conversation, and she's very accommodating. My tattoo by Alina is one of my favourites I've ever gotten, she is so dedicated to perfection and her talent is really exceptional. I also got my ear pierced and received excellent care, they have a good selection of jewelry as well. Their sanitary practices are the best I've ever seen, having gone to 5+ studios over the years, they show you all of the equipment they're using and show all the needles are sealed and not expired, which I really appreciated. This studio is truly a diamond in the rough, outclassing some of the other well-known tattoo shops I've been to.

Talked to Ozan briefly over the phone and he was the first plumber to not make me feel stupid for asking questions. My Condo had multiple electrical-based issues with the Dimmer Switch, GFCI Outlet, and Regular Outlets that I needed solved. The Electrician understood what items needed to be diagnosed, repaired, and replaced through a phone call and over text-messaging. He provided me an estimate based on what was discussed, and the pricing is fair, good, and reasonable (especially when compared to the competition). Two Electricians arrived and diagnosed the issues and performed the work efficiently and professionally. All of the issues were solved, and the workmanship is clean and aesthetically pleasing. They did not try to upsell. They had the largest selection of flooring that I have ever seen. I fell in love with a particular vinyle flooring and the salesperson did everything to ensure that I could purchase it within my budget. He actually called the supplier and did negotiating on my behalf. The delivery was easily arranged and accommodated my complicated schedule.Even after I made the mistake of purchasing too much flooring, they renegotiated with the supplier for the return of the flooring. I hired Grand Building and Contracting to complete exterior renovation on my house and I am very happy I did. This is a family business that stands behind it’s word, Alex the father was the lead on my project.When I met Alex, I can say it was refreshing having someone be upfront and honest on cost, progress updates as the project was underway, and both Alex and Jason his son were amazing to work with. The finished product of my house looks amazing! My neighbours stopping me on the street to compliment me how beautiful my house looks. The renovation included the porch, new stairs and portico, stone work, siding, new flashing around the windows to create a uniform look.It took me many years to save up the funds to complete the renovations and I have had some issue with some past contractors promising you things but then not delivering or increasing the cost as they go along, but that was not my experience with Alex, the cost quoted is the price I paid. I was so tired of having to clean my balcony because of the pigeons. I tried holographic tape but it doesn't work. Building management suggested Pigeon Tom. Due to unexpected events I had to change the date of the appointment several times, but Sean was endlessly patient and polite. I have a very long balcony, so it took a lot of webbing, but the price was very reasonable. Sean had the webbing installed in no time. He also did another extra little job for me that required a ladder and was very gracious about it. Now when my lovely neighbours throw their cigarette butts and beer cans off their balconies, their garbage doesn't land on my balcony any more. And as for the flying rats, they fly towards my balcony but then have to change direction in mid flight because they can't leave their calling cards on my balcony. It's very entertaining to watch them.

It's been 2 years since we had the rehaul on our landscaping. Aryat and his team are very skilled and had great workmanship. Aryat was very helpful with meeting our needs and budget. We wanted to reuse our interlock to save some money, this doesn't always work out, but he made it work. He met us at the stone yard to help us select some of our product. This was just another way that showed his commitment to customer service! When problems arose he always gave helpful and cost efficient advice. The work was done on time and the site was always left clean at the end of the day. He came back to do some minor repairs when some of the stones shifted. Platinum Dental is the best of the best! The space is clean, staff is friendly and professional, and the dental hygienists and Dentists are all excellent! I highly recommend Platinum Dental. Dr. Berman came highly recommended to me, and I’m so glad she was able to take me on as a patient, years ago. And as a bonus, there is free parking in the plaza where they are located (which is not so common for Toronto!).

Highly recommend Dr. Mere’s chiropractic services. I got very bad shoulder and neck pain for days and was barely able to sit at home. I was very sad when my chiropractor retired because I did not know of another one who uses the torque release method. My mom was referred to Dr. Weitz and she told me that he uses the same method. From my very first appointment I was thrilled. This clinic is thorough, very pleasant and everyone patiently answers your questions. My back was in a pretty bad state and after a couple of sessions I started feeling a real difference. I am pain free now but will keep seeing him to maintain a healthy spine.

I suddenly had a severe back pain and could not bend and got out of bed. Dr. Gold was very professional and ordered an X-ray and assessed the result, with his care and treatment my pain almost gone in about 2 weeks ! I would highly recommend Dr. Gold and his office. BTW his office is in good location with free parking, very easy to access.

The Groom Room wins my Oscar vote for ‘Best in Class’ grooming services. The care and attention to my puppy Jade makes her excited to get to every visit. She loves the staff, the environment and all of the friendly pups to play with. Her hairstyle always brings out her cutest features! Lori keeps me up to date and shares sweet videos and messages, and doesn’t hesitate to offer support to me and my fur baby whenever she can. Jade whimpers with excitement until we get to the entrance and she lights up when Jenny greets her. She doesn’t hesitate to run inside as though it’s her own home, which is how the Groom Room feels to her … with all the safe comforts, love, and cuddles that await:). It’s a wonderful place!

I forgot the name of my RMT but she does massage and acupuncture. She gave me the whole history of acupuncture and explained how it works. She gave me a free 15 minute acupuncture after the massage because it would help me lower back pain. She said that massage comforts but acupuncture heals. She also explained how a massage works and recommended a little bit more pressure because it will more effectively remove the knots. The massage was amazing too.The only drawback is that she was 10 minutes late because she also gave her previous client 15 minutes more.I'm not mad though because her service is excellent and 15mins didn't make a huge dent on my schedule. I'd keep coming back to this place if I wasn't moving cities next month.
Great massages. The only thing is I went in for a 30 minute massage but they definitely did not let go until I changed my mind into getting a 60 min one. I know it’s for the business and I respect the hustle but not everyone has a budget to get a 60 minute massage at times and I hope they are mindful of this next timeEverything about the massage was great tho very detailed and walked out of there feeling like I was floating on air.
To say that this place is amazing is an understatement. I have only had two sessions with Vahn for my plantar fasciitis and the results are undeniable. On my first visit I struggled going up the stairs to the massage room, And to my amazement after the first session my feet felt so much lighter and the stairs weren't an issue at all. I felt instantaneous relief. Vahn has thorough knowledge on what he does and a definite professional. He listened to the nature of my injury and work on it right away. Clean, well organized office. Dr Allan is very busy yet never in rush. He uses all his powers to bring your health back.My friend recommended this unique treatment for my hip pain. As painful as it is the treatment was also effective beyond expectation. I took 5 sessions before hip replacement and as soon as third week after the hip surgery I went for more treatment. Thanks to his exceptional knowledge my back and my knee stoped hurting and my hip a month after surgery is almost non existent . I already brought 4 of my friends who claimed that nobody could help in their cases. dr Allan help. I have had really good experiences with May Huang twice now. Four years ago I had long lasting severe neck pain which no painkillers or massage would help. Looking up Accupuncture in this area, I found May.After about five or six treatments the neck pain was gone, and stayed away for four years!Starting last Nov, it returned after an earlier mid back strain resulting in pain lasting 1 1/2months.The pain then went into my neck, couldn’t sleep, barely move; and I waited too long to go back to May. When I did, her wonderful treatments stopped the pain after five sessions.Not only is she a master at accupuncture, she also gives you tips on what foods to avoid, and other self-care ideas.She has such a lovely kind manner too. Highly recommend.

I've recently passed my G full test on the first attempt. Many thanks to my instructor - Igor Isaev, who in just three lessons was able to provide all the necessary information and skills practice required for the road test. I had some driving experience in Ukraine, but taking a test in Canada is a totally different thing. The instructor's comments and summaries at the end of the lessons were constructive and effective. Although the whole experience of taking the test is quite stressful, I enjoyed it and absolutely recommend Igor and his school!
