We're so happy that we found Ryan and his Ground Up Constructing team to do a fairly extensive renovation on our cottage/townhouse in Muskoka - new bathrooms, kitchen, flooring, lighting & winterizing a summer-only sun room to allow year round use. We were impressed with Ryan's trustworthiness & integrity as well as the workmanship, professionalism and attention to detail of everyone on his team. I engaged Ground Up for a major renovation of my house. The plan was to remove a single-story portion of the house, to rebuild it, and to move the kitchen into the newly-constructed portion of the house. Ryan and his crew were professionals all the way through. My house is old, and renovations on a building of this age always contain surprises. Ground Up was crystal clear not only about estimates but also about unknowns and surprises we might encounter. They were also extremely flexible about how work would proceed and collaborative about costs and options whenever a surprise came up. All of the crew and subcontractors were cheerful and friendly, and the job site was kept neat and safe. There were no issues during inspections. I was impressed, and would cheerfully recommend their services to anyone. I have a lot of experience with building renovations and managing contractors, and this particular experience was rewarding.
