“I called the day of and got an appointment, very friendly and kind. Leila did a cut and highlight on me. I showed Leila a picture of what I wanted and she made it look exactly! I was very impressed. I also chose to donate my hair which she told me would get $25 off, so that was super kind. Overall I really love my new hair style, she did so good and great quality ?“
“RAJVI she is so sweet ❤️. She did a amazing job on putting layers into my hair. She really went above and behond to give me care and attention. I was booked for a cut and colour highlights but unfortunately had to decline the highlights and low lights as the price was very close to 600$ with cut. I was absolutely shocked at the price and had to decline as i expected to pay around 300$ . When i decined the colour and just got the cut. What I truely loved about Rajvi was She didn't make me feel bad and even gave me such a attentionin the cut and added a complementry treatment. I felt bad that i had booked her time and had to decline but she didn't seem upset or angry she even said we could speak to a manager but i decined that too because thats embarrassing. she was just really understanding that the price quoted was not in my budget. I will definitely come back for a cut. BUT Unfortunately I won't be getting any other colour at DBK as the price has just gotten out of my reach to afford.“

And after doing all treatments with Enzo I have zero dry scalp and no flakes. Such an amazing experience. I recommend ALL people with dry scalp to go here for a easy fix to such a horrible problem.“

“I got a hair bleach and colour service as the salon was running a promotion. Although I used to frequent Hair Bank Bloor while I was living downtown, the quality and service at their uptown location still wowed me! Having had previous hair colour/bleaching services done in the past, I was impressed with the level of efficiency and expertise here. My hair is still strong after multiple rounds of bleaching and Laura and her assistant were very kind and knowledgeable in answering my questions. As a family-run operation, they were also very hospitable to me during my long hair service, offering tea and baked goods.I only take off one star because I felt that Laura and her assistant were quite rough when touching my head and hair. I have extremely fine and breakable hair and any sort of aggressive brushing or pulling snaps my hair. I'm not sure why it was so hasty since the salon was not necessarily busy (I doubt they intended to be harsh) but it was extremely uncomfortable at times with the pulling during bleach application and the hair washing by Laura. I heard and saw some hairs snap during the application process.Other notable mentions: clean shop with free on site parking + they honoured the promotion price we discussed although they added a colour removal service and small trim, which at other salons would have caused a big markup“
