“I'd first heard of Dr. Ben Shyu through a girlfriend who, along with a few of her friends, had been successfully treated at his family's clinic in Bruce County some years ago. A Google search found that Dr. Ben Shyu's main practice is in Toronto (North York) which is very close to me.

I had a pretty bad case of trigger finger. Initial treatment was with a hospital specialist who gave me cortisone shots. I have no issue with getting needles, but those injections were somewhat uncomfortable/painful and they lasted maybe three months. Needless to say, it was frustrating that there was no real progress at all; only temporary relief.

Then I'd remembered Dr. Shyu, so I gave him a call. Over the course of a few treatments involving acupuncture & manual manipulation, he'd successfully improved my condition to near perfection! It's so good that I don't even think about it anymore; it doesn't bother me at all!

I also have work-related neck, shoulder & back issues...and whatever else happens to me via my life's adventures ? Dr. Shyu applies whichever treatments are necessary, be it chiropractic, acupuncture, cupping or manual manipulation.

I see Dr. Shyu on a consistent basis mostly for maintenance. I look forward to my appointments because I always feel better afterwards.

Dr. Shyu has the best bedside manner, too. He's friendly, funny, kind, listens to your concerns & you can tell that he really wants to do his best to help you. It's apparent that he cares for his patients. Great guy all around!

I consider myself lucky to have reliable care under him, so I highly recommend Dr. Ben Shyu ?

“Absolutely LOVE York Mills Spa & Wellness. I've been coming here for years and love the atmosphere and the service. Reception is always great at finding ways to accommodate last minute appointments. They have incredibly priced spa packages and they always have promotions all year round (posted on their website). Where else in the city can you find a 2 and a half hour couples session with hot stone, facial, foot reflexology and scalp massage for $250?? Amazing price for RMT!! They even have coffee, tea, water and lemon water for free while you wait. Love this place so much that I've even sent my parents here on multiple occasions. If you don't want to deal with paid parking downtown, check out York Mills Spa. It's close to the shops at don mills too, so you can grab lunch after and make it a whole day!“

Before meeting him, I had never visited a chiropractor, but a long-dormant neck pain flare-up and ongoing posture issue finally persuaded me to seek out treatment.
