I love Mind body and hair You see my grandma’s friend has started taking me in the seventh grade back then I was really unconfident about my hair and I don’t think It was healthy at all😭😭 But after one appointment at the salon It was absolutely wonderful. She had snacks. I loved. i had a great experience with anastasios today. he was incredibly professional from start to finish. before booking he looked at my hair, explained exactly what he’d be able to do, and gave me upfront pricing which i really appreciated. he also sent a text before the appointment with instructions on how to prepare my hair. during the appointment he was so friendly, listened carefully to exactly what i wanted, and blended my highlights seamlessly into older highlights from another salon. you can also genuinely tell he cares about his clients as people, not just customers. i left so happy with my hair and would absolutely recommend him

One million out of 5! 1 million percent exceeded my expectations. Shanna and her mom are SUCH A VIBE!!! They’re professional, and they get through hair SUPER QUICK with it looking amazing lol. I did NOT expect to be in and out in 2 1/2 hours with how long my locs are + color + retwist service… and in that time like 2/3 people got finished as well. Whole time I felt like friends & family were doing my hair and this was my first time meeting them lol. I got my hair done by Shanna’s mom, and I would let any of them do my hair again ANY DAY. 5 stars aren’t enough ❤️.

I’ve been going to Eddie maybe 10+ years now and referred over 10+ people to him. He is the best of the best. He doesn’t spend hours per appt because he doesn’t need to. He’s efficient! And he has a great personality. A lot of Barbershops around the neighborhood act like they’re too busy for people but not Eddie. I’ve seen first hand multiple times him staying late to help people out.

I need to give Boujee a HUGE shout out!!!! Since tvan has been in Vietnam I unfortunately had to find a different nail salon for the time being.. that being said the first place I went to wasn’t great, they were lifting and chipping in a week , I tried another salon the 2nd time and they’re lifting and chipping within 4 days!!!! Needless to say, tvan and his entire team are hands down the BEST. I’ve never had an issue with nails lifting or breaking and they can last me a whole month !!! Can’t wait to go back ??

I booked her Signature Facial, and it was truly excellent. I was comfortable and relaxed the entire time. Ruth explains everything she’s doing as she works on your skin, which makes the experience feel both professional and reassuring. She’s incredibly gentle, friendly, and knowledgeable, and she also offers thoughtful suggestions tailored to your skin’s needs, never pushy, just genuinely helpful.

Had Swedish massage with Dyna. It was relaxing! Just the right pressure (I hate pain lol) when it was too much I told her and she adjusted which I appreciated. Small space but expected in the Bronx. If they had sauna with robes would be even better. I would recommend for that massage and masseuse.

I had a piercing which I took out 2 years ago from somewhere in Baltimore NOT here or in any relation to this place . And I wanted it back , so I did research on piercing shops in the area . And out of all of them , this one sparked my interest and seemed a lot more professional . Upon entrance I noticed the beautiful art and cleanliness, I was greeted and told where I’d be waiting to get my piercing. I did not wait long , the young lady who did my piercing (frog eyes) was so knowledgeable and told me what was wrong with my previous piercing that I got done elsewhere , and ensured me that she’ll get it right . It was fast , and painless which i was surprised , she also followed the necessary steps to ensure proper hygiene . Very decent prices . I plan on going here if I ever want to get any other piercing . I’m still not a tattoo person but if/ when the time comes I’d definitely be giving them a visit for that as well. I give this place 5+ stars and I’ll definitely be back .

My building hired Perfect Flow to fix my clogged bathroom sink. It worked, but would fill up and take a while to go down. It took a bit of effort over two visits with two different plumbers but in the end all was good, the plumber who ended up doing the repair did a terrific job, and I would recommend them again. Not only did he efficiently handle the job and put everything back together perfectly, but he also went above and beyond by thoroughly cleaning up the sink area—honestly leaving it much cleaner and freer of dust than it was before he started!
What really sets Adam apart is his expertise and proactive approach. Instead of just fixing the immediate issue and rushing off, he took the time to give me a clear breakdown of my plumbing health:
Proactive Diagnostics: He noticed the P-trap is starting to corrode and let me know it will likely need a replacement during the next service, preventing a future emergency.
Accurate Clog Location: He pinpointed that the main blockage is likely heavily rusted and located about 50 feet away in the main line, somewhere between the second and third floors.
Preventative Advice: He even gave me a simple maintenance tip to run hot water down both the kitchen and bathroom sinks for 15 minutes once a week to keep things moving smoothly.

We had our gas shutoff by ConEd due to a small gas leak. This required us to work with a Master Plumber to get the leak fixed and our gas turned back on. After doing some research I called BMT Plumbing. The owner, El, took charge and described what would happen with ConEd and the Dept of Buildings. He filed all of the paperwork, his team got the leak fixed, dealt with all of the inspections, and the gas is turned back on. BMT is thorough, they were always prompt when scheduling work, and the team is knowledgeable and friendly. BMT charges a fair price for it's work. We're happy we chose El and the BMT team.

Dr. A is the greatest physician I know, if you were ever able to get a Pediatrician to visit your baby while still in the hospital, then you know exactly what I am talking about. I’ve never met a doctor that would text you back after going through a life changing experience. All hours of the early morning and late nights knowing he has a 100 other children to care for. When I say he is like a Grandfather to my kids I mean that from the depth of my soul. He is an outstanding individual in our community as a Pediatric Doctor, as well as an individual outside of his white coat. My kids always feel at home when visiting Community Pediatrics. Nurse Milly, Nurse Ashley, they all have help me tremendously and I will never forget the support they have given me when they could surely see I was not myself.

This review is long over due. I had bunion surgery on both feet a few years ago. I found this place by chance and I’m so happy I did. The owner is an absolute gem! She goes above and beyond to make sure everyone is taken care of. I was having trouble with toe mobility. The therapist recommended an exercise I could do at home with marbles (they didn’t have any in house). The owner overheard, stepped out, and a few minutes later came back in with marbles in hand. Her Administrators also helped me get a few extra sessions covered by my insurance. The healing process was arduous, but her and her team literally helped to get me back on my feet. I’m forever grateful.

We found Dr. Solomon last summer. Our first visit was for our cat, Loki, to be neutered. I was impressed with how much time Doctor Solomon took with us to explain everything during the consultation. Much different atmosphere than my previous vet. Everything also went great with the neutering and the cost was very affordable. Our second visit was with my senior dog, who after having a couple bad experiences at the previous vet was a little skittish of the vet and they were no longer even able to get blood work from her without her whining and crying. This is a dog that doesn’t typically cry over anything. Dr. Solomon took this into consideration, shaved the area, used calming petting and other techniques to keep her calm and was able to get blood. All the vet techs at the office genuinely love animals and you can tell they love their job. We have recently had some health scares with Loki and Dr. Solomon has been so good at explaining everything and giving us options. He’s always also given multiple options for a treatment when possible in case cost is a factor. His front desk staff is very professional and friendly. I am so glad that we found Bronx County animal Hospital. We plan on continuing bringing our present and future furry children to him!
I found a kitten in Matthews Muliner Playground and it looks really bad I took it home now I try to feed it but it refuses to eat and it looks like it's dying if someone close to me can take it and treat it before it dies ??

Been going here for quite some time! My dog gets a simple bath, teeth brushing & nail grind, and they always take good care of my boy. They’re sweet & caring and their prices are reasonable too.

After 5+ years of having 3 cats at Heart of Chelsea (2 routine/healthy cats, one who went through an uncommon illness) we couldn’t be happier and have never been disappointed.

Enjoyed a class today with Yoga Insructor Annie. My daughter and I experienced a thorough and tension - releasing vinyasa yoga class. It was a great opportunity for me to give myself over to a teacher who knew how to motivate, encourage and challenge us to find comfort with each asana/position. I felt warm and relaxed afterwards. I really appreciated the chance to practice outside of my home for the first time in a very long time. Thank you Annie!
I love this studio so much. I start my week with them and I end my week with them! I always leave feeling calm, refocused and just reconnected with my body. The instructors are amazing, knowledgeable and kind, but most of all quick to make sure that your form is proper so that you can achieve your full expression without injury. They always remind us to that we may not be “there” so to do what we can, always offering alternate movements appropriate for the pose. I also love that all body types are represented there ensuring authentically that this practice is for all! 😘
I have been going to yoga for bliss for DECADES :) I love the teachers, the affordable rates and beautiful spaces classes are held in. I always look forward to going to class and leave feeling centered and relaxed. Classes are all levels so you can go at your own pace. I highly recommend yoga for bliss whether you are an experienced yogi or new to the practice.

I have been tense my whole life! I now regularly see Jeanette for deep tissue massage, and she is incredible. This is a TRUE massage - she uses strength to work out my knots, smooth out my tightness, and even correct my uneven legs. She customizes my sessions to what I need in the moment. I am experiencing a change in my body that has been overdue for years, and a deep awareness of my body at all times. Highly recommend!

This place was referred to me to address my sciatica issues and I’m so glad I found it and it’s in my neighborhood. I've been going to Olga for acupuncture for many years now, and so has my elderly mother. Olga has treated me for many conditions and has had success where doctors have failed. She herself is an MD --a former neurologist who became an acupuncturist--so draws on her formidable medical knowledge in addition to her expertise as an acupuncturist; that's a rare combination. Olga is an ace diagnostician --she once correctly diagnosed a rare malady that my physician had misdiagnosed and was giving me the wrong medication for. Aside from her excellence as an acupuncturist Olga cares so much for her patients. She goes above and beyond, even offering support around personal issues, as she is a holistic practitioner and deeply understands the mind-body connection. She is also an herbalist who was able to wean me off dangerous medications and substitute supplements that have proven to be superior in treating my conditions. I have a complicated medical profile and Olga has been on top of it all, always giving me the best advice. I can't say enough good things about this practitioner--there's a reason it can be hard to get an appointment, she's in demand. And very worth the wait.
I would like to express my gratitude to my therapist Brandy who helped me get rid of much of my body pain with her deep tissue massage. I will definitely be booking my next appointment with her. She used just the correct amount of pressure which is essential because if you use too much it will give you more pain. Brandy was so sweet and attentive to ask if she was using too much pressure. She did a tremendous job and knows her job well. I highly recommend her.

Shout out to Mistah driving school. After a few sessions with the instructor I was ready for the road. I enjoyed his method of teaching and he was very patient. As a nervous driver, with his instruction of how to handle the road, I was able to take that with me on the official road test and passed the first try. Truly grateful!!!

Was extremely pleased with my 2 day experience here learning how to ride a motorcycle for the very first time. Was fortunate to have Ed and Valentino as my coaches. We had Ed for our first day and he was clear and communicative about what we should expect and how to operate a motorcycle. Was surprised at how quickly he could spot issues in riding and espically any lack of gear from sunglasses not worn or chin straps being unbuckled. The second day was with Valentino, he was able to share a lot about his personal journey to riding and how there is always much more to learn. Answered all of our questions and helped pin point our mistakes and how best to correct them. The second day was extremely fun, really learned to move as one with the bike thanks to Mr. Valentino's positive reinforcement and patience. As for our group, it was mixed and extremely friendly. Everyone from different backgrounds and different goals and experience levels. Would highly recommend and will be comming back to further develop my skills.
P.s. there is free parking and recommend getting gloves that fit perfectly and some shoes with a thinner toe box to be able to more comfortably shift. But I did fine with what I had and so did everyone else.
