I asked Reddit for a place where I can have my duffel bag repaired. Thanks to one of the Redditor who suggested me to check on this place. Yesterday at noontime I visited and Avner welcomed me to his shop while working on a shoes for a lady. He checked my bag and access, he immediately told me that it can't be repaired on that day because his craftsmen who specialises on these is not around. I taught it was an easy fix but he explained to me the intricate details. I appreciate his honesty and sincerity to give me a good service. For a good price my duffel bag looks brand new. So blissful here I spent most of my time in the hot sauna room, which was really my main reason for going. Although I didn't feel there was enough guidance as to how to navigate through the building, it's easy to figure out on your own - I accidentally walked into the staff room and one of the ladies who works there didn't seem happy about it. Despite not feeling the most welcome here, I would still go back, as I like how traditional and home like it feels. Prices are great and everyone is just doing their own thing.

Had a great experience at Dr. Scalp. When you arrive they give you slippers to wear (recommend bringing your own socks if you are in sandals) and the space is very clean and comfortable. The people who work there are so nice and make the experience very relaxing. They start the process by taking photos of your scalp close up with a microscope camera lens. Then a series of different solutions they apply to the scalp. Then a long steam and a lot of shampoo and scrubbing. This was the best part. Then drying and more solutions. The whole process takes about an hour and 30 minutes-ish so plan accordingly.I’ve struggled with large flake dandruff and build up on my scalp for years and I never thought getting rid of the flakes was possible. Even went to an Aveda salon in Manhattan to do a similar process. The Dr. Scalp process was way more thorough and longer. There was a closer attention to detail too.First time clients are $178 and then after that it’s $128. Plus tip (I brought cash for this). Really not bad for what they do plus they blow dry your hair afterwards.Pictures are of my before and after. Looking forward to going back!
1st time here, Highly, recommended by a friend of mine, the hairstylist was a pretty cool young guy. The appointment was on time, and I didn't need to wait. Love is personality. The quality of his work was a bit messy and un even. The place is a little unsanitary and unkept blade as not sanitized before using So my nephew got a rash from the dirty blade.

Best nail salon I’ve ever been to! I’ve been to a lot of different salons in Queens, Long Island and Manhattan and this just became my favorite. I came as a walk in and got Gel X nails and am absolutely in love! I had an inspiration picture and she was able to match it identically. I’ve never been so happy with my nails and 2 weeks later and they still look perfect. The precision to detail, how cleanly the salon was and ensuring disinfecting everything and the salon itself is so cute. Seriously so impressed and so happy with my nails :)

I usually don't end up liking my nails when I get them done at other salons I've been to but Hannah (I believe her name was) did an excellent job and I told her that I work with money and they tend to break. She made sure to make my nails more durable and stronger which I appreciated. She goes out of her way to make sure you like what you are getting. I will be coming back!

Honestly Jenny did a pretty decent job. I came in with super long hair ready for something different. She definitely followed instructions. She also was completely honest with my hair and some suggestions on how to style my hair. Price was only $15. Wait was about 30 mins because it’s only one person. Over all she was nice. Definitely would recommend for a simple hair cut.

I highly recommend Big Apple plumbing. We had our gas shut off in winter and it was rough. I called them in the evening and they had an awesome team over very early to fix the issue. The person who answers the phone is lovely and the team was wonderful. Ken took the time to explain everything to me. they were so efficient that I had my gas turned back on the same day am sitting at home nice and toasty, thanks to them.
They fixed our broken sewer cleanout, including concrete work, at a time when there were a TON of major sewer issues in our neighborhood after hurricane Ida. I called RJ Russo to do 3 electrical items in my apartment. They took down a ceiling fan and replaced with a regular hanging light, changed out my bathroom fixture and installed a new electrical outlet in my bathroom without breaking my wall. They are wonderful to deal with, didn't leave a mess, cleaned up and everything was working beautifully. They weren't overpriced and well worth what I did pay. There was an issue with the department giving the permit but his son took care of it for me, got the permit, and after inspection my violation for the sidewalk was removed. It's an "alright experience". The classes are super quick and fast, so I can't give it 5 stars. One good thing though is that most of the instructors take their coffee breaks outside by the walkway, so it's very easy to talk to them if you have any questions... concerning driving.

I called on Tuesday and they were able to have me scheduled for Saturday within 30 minutes.
