In the past while shopping at Home Depot (Bethesda), it was a struggle. Whether it was because of Covid or the lack of staffing, you would need to figure out things yourself. Sometimes you were very lucky when the staff would at least point in the directions of what you were looking for. Today, we stopped by to pick a masonry drill bit set and the customer service were through the roof! It was amazing! Wow, we were shocked at the level of customer service! Great job!!! Don
I have nothing but positive things to say about Dr.S!! I started seeing him in 2020 at his previous practice in Chevy Chase. I was immediately impressed and felt comfortable due to his friendly demeanor, excellent bed side manner, and professionalism. Furthermore, he was clearly immensely knowledgeable and passionate about what he does. It was evident he genuinely cared about providing his patients with the best care and results, and seeing them leave the office with a smile on their face and more confidence than when they walked in. He takes the time needed to listen to all your questions, concerns, and what outcome you're looking to achieve; and gives thorough, honest answers and feedback. He is very detailed and efficient in his work and gives you the reassurance that you're in great hands, which you are! He's so talented and a phenomenal doctor. My mom and I both loved going to see him because of his excellent work/results of course, but also because of his positivity and good energy. He treats you more than just a patient. He remembers and will ask you about things you mentioned your last appointment; such as an upcoming vacation, your job, a move, how your family is, etc. and just really engages with you.
I just saw him yesterday at his temporary practice in Ellicott City, until his very own and new practice opens this fall in Columbia!! Yesterday, I got traptox for the first time and it was a quick and painless treatment, and I can't wait to see the results in a few weeks! I'm so excited for his new practice and will definitely be going there as soon as it opens. Keisha is one of the most personable people I've ever met. She knows how to handle tough situations and make everyone feel comfortable. Every time I meet with Keisha she goes above and beyond. She is an asset to any company and her attitude and teamwork work ethics are something hard to find these days. Keisha puts one hundred and ten percent on every project she does. I am so happy to have met Keisha and appreciate her hard work. I lived in one property that Keisha managed for around 10 years.

We had Beautiful Baths and Kitchens do our bathroom renovation back in 2020, and they did an excellent job. When we followed up with our kitchen renovation, there was no question who we wanted to have do the work. David and his team are great. David is exceedingly patient and helpful when it comes to making choices about materials. His team is courteous and conscientious -- they always cleaned up at the end of the day and made sure everything was back in place at the end of the project. When minor issues cropped up -- and they always will -- David was quick to address them. The project finished on time and on budget and looks great.

I had booked an appointment thru their ig page! It was so easy and quick! The location is right off of 355 in Bethesda in front of the AC hotel. It is also walking distance from the Bethesda metro stop. Brenda was so welcoming and helpful with this being my first time getting extensions with her. She asked what I wanted to do, I also asked her expert opinion and we did a wispy full cat eye which was so amazing! Brenda also had snacks and water in her suite and she made sure I was comfortable during my appointment. It was a great experience my lashes have lasted almost 2 weeks with some shedding but Brenda said it's normal! 10/10 would recommend. Brenda provided excellent customer service and fair prices. The suite was clean, cute and full of snacks!

Tony has been our family stylist for the past 10 years. We followed Tony from his previous workplace to his current location because we trust him implicitly with our haircuts. Since my son was in kindergarten and now through his high school years, Tony's monthly haircuts have never disappointed. Whenever my children bring pictures of hairstyles they like, Tony knows exactly how to replicate them. We are very particular about our haircuts, and Tony always delivers. He's adept with both scissors and clippers, depending on what is needed. We can always rely on him for special occasions like graduations and school dances, as he consistently makes us look our best. Nancy is the BEST barber ever. I had been coming to her on and off since 2021 after a recommendation from a friend who had been coming to her loyally for years. I've finally made the switch to see her for my twice monthly haircuts (I need to stay sharp for work) and she does a stellar job every time, and I'm glad I live closer now.My fades are consistently perfect and Nancy takes her time to be sure I always have the perfect haircut before I leave. (Admittedly, I am VERY picky about my hair and was going to salon in DC paying $55+ a cut seeing "high-end" barbers with mixed results)Pricing is also amazing, and friendly, fun atmosphere.Definitely go see Nancy and you won't be disappointed!

We moved to the area about a year ago and have tried four different barber shops for my husband and two boys, we have liked two of them. They have all three consistently had good cuts here at a good price. The availability of parking and good pastries next door makes this a favorite for my kids. We do not make appointments and the longest wait has been fifteen minutes but almost always quicker.
So I was going to get a haircut on base today and I remembered how bad they screwed up my hair. Then I went to google to find barber shops near me. Then I found this amazing Barber shop. I was surprised that there was no one in the shop. But I was impressed with the quality and service. The shop was relaxing.

I highly recommend this nail salon! I got a gel pedicure today and my technician was very thorough. She even fixed a crack on the side of my nail and it looks perfect. She was very careful and meticulous with the cuticle cutting/filing and toe nail clipping and especially painting and curing the gel polish. I didn't get her name though, but I was watching the other techs and they had the same vibe... no rushing and they seemed to be very careful and thorough too. I am not from the area, but if I lived here this would be my regular salon! It is clean and the staff is lovely.

I have finally found a great place that is friendly, efficient, and reasonably priced. The booking process was seamless, the wait time was minimal, great service tailored to my needs and wants and great finished product.

I have been coming to Nail Studio since it opened 10 years ago! I love everyone there and I've always had a great time. Hai has done everything from regular gels to wild and crazy designs on a full set. I got beautiful gold Deco design for my wedding there ten years ago, and recently asked for fishing lure inspired nails to wear on my anniversary vacation to Florida! They do it all! Also the spa pedicure is totally worth it, the green tea option smells amazing. 5 stars all day.
I went to Tammy’s on recommendation from a friend and I had a great experience! Tammy herself gave me a gel manicure that was beautifully finished and only took about a half hour (I didn’t have any other polish to remove). The service was clean and thoughtful and I didn’t have any discomfort. My only criticism is that it has been only six days and some of my gel is already lifting by the cuticles. It’s been a while since I had a gel manicure but I think they’re typically supposed to last longer, so I’m a bit disappointed by that. EDIT: Exactly one week in, and a nail has chipped.

Chaos salon is a special place if you’re looking for a one of kind hairstylist. Getting my hair done there is like going home. As soon as I walk through the door I’m greeted by everyone like it’s a family reunion. They greet me excitedly by first name and as soon as I sit in the chair, TOM, my stylist, knows exactly what I want done to my hair. It’s as if he reads my mind. TOM is a consistently excellent stylist and colorist. I’ve trusted him with my hair for over two decades. I’ve listened to how Tom and his co-owner brother talked to all their other customers and they treat them like family too. I'm a Heyday member and I've been seeing Hadiyyah since August 2023 and each experience has been wonderful!! She is so kind, friendly, and excellent at what she does. Each facial is tailored to what my skin really needs at the time I visit. Ever since my first appointment with her, I have seen positive changes in my skin. She also recommends products for me to incorporate into my skincare routine at home. The spa itself is always so clean and inviting and the staff at the front desk are so helpful as well. I feel relaxed whenever I visit!
Raji is the ultimate professional. In fact, I followed her from another chain establishment because I trust her threading skills. She's gentle and pricing is below other competitors. I've also gotten waxing services and her hands are the most gentle I've ever experienced in 15+ years. The salon is private despite it being a shared space with other cosmetic professionals. Refreshments are available for waiting guests (although I've never had to wait). Parking is free for first 30 minutes at the lot next door. Centrally located in downtown Bethesda. Highly recommend.
European wax is a self care staple. Between their package deals and ease of use nationwide. The reminder emails, texts and calls so you’ll never forget you scheduled an appointment. The facility is clean, well kept and right around the corner from garage parking if you need it. Jennifer was new to this location and an absolute dream. I had a great hydrafacial with Larissa! Ninotch uses heated beds like you might have for a massage, and it was so relaxing I nearly fell asleep during my facial.
I have hormonal acne and was not comfortable going somewhere for extractions due to scarring, but DiDi did an amazing job with my extraction and made my experience almost painless. I was super shocked after coming out to see my skin had almost zero redness from the extractions, and that I had no imperfections left in my skin! As someone who struggles with acne this was an extremely relaxing experience 10000% recommend !

Lash Cosmo is the best lash place in the area! Always clean and QUICK! Other places have taken up to 2 hours to do a lash lift+tint but lydia does it beautifully in 45 mins! Lydia always makes the experience pleasant and welcoming which always keeps me coming back!

Ray is a top rate artist and a really good guy, and is highly skilled in design, line work and exceptional at shading. I went to see Ray after a middling experience from a well-known DC artist for a full sleeve. Ray was able to completely transform my half-done sleeve to a true work of art that is seamless in flow. Prior, it was not well connected, line work was uneven and collapsing in some area and the shading was not cohesive.
Ray pulled it together completely and I absolutely love what he did. I recommend him completely and without hesitation. And for those that think you’ve got to go DC for a top end tattoo you don’t. Hit Ray up. He is the best in the DMV.

I hired maids prime to do a move out clean for me. The place was in shambles after I had moved and it most definitely needed a deep clean after three years of living in the same unit. They were there early and they spent three hours completely cleaning every surface of that apartment. I wasn’t there for the clean, but when I went back to do my final walk-through I saw it and even my property manager said what an unbelievable job they did. She said that she had never seen a unit so clean at a move out inspection. I also had an arrival time of 2 to 5 PM. That was a huge gap and I had a million other things to do that day. I reached out to the email and they stayed in contact with me until the maids arrived. I think it’s took them 10 to 15 minutes to respond to me when I asked if they had a better estimate on when they would be there. I will absolutely be using them again for my new house.
Setting up an estimate to have waterproof vinyl plank flooring was very easy, Jidlaf walked me through the process, provided a thorough estimate and also met me at the flooring store to set up my order. He provided recommendations and was available for any follow up questions and very responsive via text. Installation took only one day for 635 square feet (including a stairwell) and the installation crew was respectful and also asked me questions regarding certain aesthetic details on how I wanted the flooring installed. I was easily able to be refunded for excess materials and Jidlaf was available to address any follow up questions after the flooring was installed. Highly recommend!

We've hired Mason and his team for two separate projects, both bathroom renovations. They did a fantastic job doing all of the following:- demoing everything- replacing drain lines- reframing- new insulation- adding a window / outside framing- adding a sun tunnel- custom niche construction out of marble- tile work (shower flower & walls, tub wall, main floor)- new electrical / fans- new component installation- paintingThe only problems I had were with the suppliers (which is on me -- we picked out all our interiors ourselves). If I had it to do over again, I would make sure every piece of tile was in my house before the job starts. I would not accept tracking numbers or even a phone call assurance that the pieces have arrived. But once we had everything, it went flawlessly.

Highly recommend. Last year we had CH rebuild our front steps and put in a side and back patio. The work looks great and so far has held up. We asked them to pick stone for the walkway that matched our front porch and they did a great job. I was pretty indecisive, but Chris was very patient and flexible. Also communication was very good and the quote was a tad under two others we got. We'll use them again if we ever need more work.

I contacted Fred Home Improvement to help with water seeping into our apartment from the balcony. The subfloor and floor tiles were badly buckled. They examined the patio doors, lifted pavers from the balcony, examined the condition of the liner, and drain. They were able to diagnose the problem and recommend a tiered approach for fixing the problem (being sensitive to costs), while also explaining their thought process so that I understood exactly what was being proposed.The people I worked with were professional, polite, and responsive. I couldn't ask for more!

Dr Le is an exceptional dentist! I went to him for an implant, crowns and bridges and what could have been a distressing experience, his skills and professionalism made it a lot easier. He clearly cares for his patients and gives excellent advice on a wide range of dental concerns. I will not hesitate to go back to this practice because Dr Le, Dr Van and the whole staff are easy and delightful to deal with.

I have been seeing Dr. Palandjian for almost 10 years. She and her staff are amazing. My hygienists have all been very gentle & put my anxiety at ease every time. I’ve recently had back surgery, so have some mobility issues. The entire staff has been very accommodating to my use of a walker when going to and from the exam rooms. I can easily get a morning appointment, And the time in the waiting room has been minimal. I strongly recommend Bethesda Family Dentistry!

When I came to Dr. Steve I had chronic neck, back and hip pain which has gradually and completely disappeared. What ever he is doing to help my body reconnect with itself, and feel more intact and capable has also allowed me to feel better emotionally, and more able to deal with what is going on around me. The doctor was phenomenal, inspiring great confidence with his knowledge, attention to detail, and listening skills. He was also quite affable. The office staff were similarly amazing...and very accomodating and attentive. They liked their jobs and working for this office. You could tell. I was very impressed. Medical excellence and a well run office, what more could you want?

What a beautiful office! The front desk staff and in-room staff are so friendly and attentive. Dr. Shah was very clear and patient in explaining all the treatments I was interested in. I moved forward with botox and under-eye filler. What a breeze! I have been treated with under-eye filler before but what a difference in provider! She was very gently and I hardly felt a thing! I also consulted with her about my under-chin fat and she recommended the CoolMini which has less downtime than Kybella. Can't wait to see my results in the next few weeks with the Botox and Filler. Great experience. I've been here three times now. Dr. Green has fixed a discoloration issue that another doctor has tried to take care of for a year. The office staff members are always very friendly, and they are always on time! Super punctual and I am in and out and can get on with my day!
I've read both the positive and the negative reports on Kenwood Animal Hospital. I've had three cats. The latter two died several years ago from old age & its subsequent illnesses. Both Jasmine & Pippin, sister & brother from the same litter, were cared for by Dr Cathleen Ciampa, the director of Kenwood Animal Hospital. I've also used Friendship Heights Animal Hospital when Jasmine was in her final medical crisis. I've always had good experiences with Kenwood. Dr Ciampa, although she's the director of Kenwood Animal Hospital, and hence has administrative responsibilities, she still continues to see patients. She is kind & has a way with my cats. Now my new cat, Tooli, is under Dr Ciampa's care. We're seeing Dr Ciampa next week for Tooli's annual check-up. I'll update my review following our visit.

I've been attending Shauna Simon's new yoga studio in the Glen Echo Shopping Center since it opened about a year ago. It's always a delight to enter the warm, friendly space, where there is a small shop selling everything from yoga clothing to beautiful artwork. The studio itself is spacious with a wall of windows looking out on nature, soothing lavender walls and clean, bright floors. Shauna has a wide variety of yoga props that can be used, so you don't have to bring your own. I love Shauna's Super Gentle Yoga Class, which is attended by a group of ten or so folks of different ages. The studio has numerous other offerings taught by excellent teachers who lead classes in Pilates, Zumba, Reiki and more. There are classes for all levels, and the instructors are superb.
I appreciate my instructor’s professionalism, experience, and contagious passion for her job. Sessions are totally customized. Results are excellent.

Upon looking at the website Yelp provides, I see very little information about the business. So where is what I found. This is a European style of massage which is safe to say will be nude without a draping cover. Granted you can get a towel if you ask for one, but remember, Europeans are less prudish about nudity and this is a European Massage. The cost of doing business at massage places has gone up with the cost rise of inflation. Massage use to be $70 to 100+ back in the early 90's. Then I noticed the price drop down to $55.00 an hour. The cost for doing business with Julia is $160 with tip rounding up to $200.00. The price isn't listed on the website, because Julia prefers to get to know her clients first. Julia might hate me for explaining this, but I feel one should know what the cost of business is up front. Then guest will know what their falling for. If you dare to do this, she'll be coming at you like a dark horse. It's the perfect storm. Julia was all business when I talked to her on the phone. It also gave me the impression she was with a client. I believe she is a one woman show and she works alone. I can appreciate that, because I work alone too. so there isn't 4 hands massage or body scrub/shampoo according to Julia. Nevertheless, I hope to make an appointment with Julia when my work schedule goes back to normal. I will then be able to write a review on the masssge experience.
Got a couples massage here with my husband post baby and absolutely loved it. My shoulders were wrecked from carrying my baby all day and they found and worked out all the knots I didn’t even know existed. Environment is very clean and homey - feels like you’re in a living room (carpeted floor, small area, super super soft sheets). It was the perfect gift and an incredibly skilled massage. Thank you!!!

Back when I was living in Maryland, I would go here once a week for PT to help out with ongoing sports injuries that I had from football & rugby. And let me tell you, it was incredibly helpful!! After each session I had with Elizabeth (Liz) Karhl, I always left feeling better with looser muscle tissue, additional bone mobility & better physical range of bodily motion. Having been to several different PT providers in Maryland, it is my opinion that Precision PT is the best. I think this because I saw Liz after seeing a doctor about my shoulder injury, and when the doctor said everything looked good (it didn't feel that way at all), Liz was able to diagnose the actual cause of my shoulder pain, and through manual treatment, help fix the issue. So if you're looking to improve your physical health or simply want another opinion on how PT can help fix an injury, pick up the phone and give Liz a call!!

My orthopedic surgeon recommended that I see Xiaoming Tian before undergoing a surgical procedure to correct a pinched sciatica nerve in my left leg that left me unable to walk well. After six sessions, Dr. Tian corrected the problem, and I was able to avoid surgery. I can walk pain free seven months and counting after the treatments. I have pinched nerves in other locations since my treatments and Dr. Tian has been able to relieve the symptoms. Xiaoming Tian is a caring person and is highly competent.

A friend recommended that I consult Don Diggs for accupuncture treatment of my plantar fasciitis. I was leery of starting cortisone shots with my MD, especially with the warning that tendons can become more brittle that way. With five accupuncture treatments now, I am down from a 9/10 on the pain scale to about a 1 or 2. There are days I don't feel it at all. I am really grateful for the combination of accupuncture and e-stimulation. I also appreciate Don's advice about a few exercises tostrengthen the the area.
