“This company recently installed a new hybrid heat pump system in our house. We had previously talked to four other companies. Hugo who did the sales presentation and assessed our house was very knowledgeable, kind and highly organized. The crew who came to our house to install the system was quiet, efficient and courteous (thank you, Freddy). We had air conditioning the night before a major heat wave. Gary P Frank installed the system in less than two days. Highly recommend.“

“A few weeks ago, I woke up to find my air conditioner blowing warm air. I suspected the issue was a failed capacitor in the outdoor unit, but I wanted a professional to confirm the diagnosis before replacing anything.

I'd had concerns about the pricing of the large HVAC/plumbing company I'd used in the past, so I decided to try AVS instead, since they appeared to be a smaller, family-owned business.
The technician, Bob, was excellent. He quickly confirmed that the capacitor had failed and replaced it . He was professional, knowledgeable, and efficient.

I'm giving four stars instead of five because of the pricing. Bob had to call the office to get the price for the part, and after (I assume) looking up my ZIP code, they quoted $429 for the service. Considering the replacement capacitor itself costs around $30 and the repair took about 15 minutes, the total felt excessive.

Overall, Bob earned five stars, but the pricing left a sour taste. Ironically, I suspect I wouldn't have paid any more with the larger company I was trying to avoid. Not sure I'll be back.“

“Needed to duplicate some keys. After talking to their staff, they led me to this self service machine. After touch the screen button, inserted key into the upper slot. After scanning, the screen showed a few pattern designs from $3.97 to $6. The duplicate was made and delivered to the lower slot within one minute. Then went to self checkout and paid. The whole purchase was much faster than expected!“
