This is the second time I have used these folks. The first was several years ago to remove a large Cleveland Pear that had become too big for it's area. This time they removed two 20 year old Bradford Pears that had become weak and brittle. Same as before, no complaints. I would certainly recommend them. On a side note, shame on the city of Lexington for planting these horrid trees then leaving home owners to deal with them.
Traveled out to train with Matt for a couple days and I'm really glad I did. He trained me in sculpting and really helped me understand the art of carving ice. He took these complex techniques and explained them in a way that was super easy to follow. Crazy talented, super patient, and a great teacher. You can tell he really loves what he does. If you ever get the chance to learn from him, definitely do it!

BASE COLOR - NATURAL ASH PERFECTION! I have previously struggled with brassy base colors with other stylists. My nemesis! Hope created the perfect ash base color while avoiding brassy undertones. She actually listened to me when I said a developer at 20 was too strong for me and leaves my color brassy and she lowered it to what my fine hair prefers + tailored the color to my specific needs. She delivered that cooler base I had in my younger days.
BRIGHT HIGHLIGHTS = SHINE: The highlights are exactly what I wanted and have missed. The brightness against the ash base created that perfect contrast, imparting a shine straight from the beach. Her baby-lites are perfect and better for me than the trendy and thicker highlights that can overpower my fine hair and end up looking striped. Previously with other stylists, I have felt my highlights were muddy against my base color.
HAIR THINNING ISSUES: I am thinning around the hairline along my face and missed having highlights there, as base color only seemed to make it appear thicker but made my skin feel dull. Hope created the illusion of volume with a depth and brightness by artfully placing the highlights where I had enough base colored hair behind them to back them up. With highlights framing my face once again, I can pull my hair up or back and still have the brightness against my skin, yet I do not look bald.
SHE LISTENS! Hope's warmth, knowledge, and kindness were truly appreciated. She made me feel not only valued as a client but also understood on a personal level. I have gone to Shawna for my hair for over 10 years. She is so knowledgeable about hair and also keeps up with trends, which I love, but even better she is great at recommending what would work well for my own hair type. I like my blonde, but want it as low maintenance as possible, and I appreciate that she helps me achieve that! My cuts are always excellent and my natural wave lays so well after her layering skills.
On another note, for those who this may apply to - I have never used her for magic sessions…I’m a Christian so that’s not for me…but I appreciate that she is respectful of my faith and keeps my visits focused on hair only :) We have different beliefs, but can still chat at my visits, and I respect that about her.

Went today for the first time today. Great place, clean, and the place itself is nice. Famo did my cut. He was a pleasure to work with, detail oriented, and cool to hang out with. The entire place has the true barbershop feel. A place where you could just go to hangout. 100% recommend if you are looking a a great haircut and fun atmosphere.

Shelly at No Lines Tanning is the absolute best! She’s been doing my spray tans for years, and I always love the results—natural, even, and flawless every time. I wouldn’t go anywhere else!
Very clean salon, prices for tanning are awesome…. $8-$10 for a single visit and $30 for a monthly package. However, I’m not a fan of their tanning beds. The bulbs are out frequently and the bulbs just aren’t strong . Employees are very kind.

I get a gel mani/pedi and it lasts very well, which is exactly what I’m
looking for—usually still intact at weeks 3 and 4! Once when a nail chipped after 2 weeks, they fixed it promptly and for free. The style is 1990s and a bit drab and sometimes the nail techs seem tired and bored, but after 20 years, I can’t blame them. I just want nice, long lasting nails at a fair price without too much waiting and I get that here. A lot of the nicer places I’ve visited gave gel manicures that didn’t last over a week, so I’m glad to find folks who are competent at their job!

Words cannot describe how wonderful my experience was here with Mickey and Samantha. The kindness, compassion and love that they showed me has made me a life long customer. I came in with quite the disaster of a color situation and they took time and were very gentle with me (it was embarrassing walking in there such a mess) and literally performed a miracle. If you are looking for a salon that cares and knows what they are doing, do yourself a favor and come here. I will also say that the way they worked together and the kindness among the staff was so nice to see as well. It felt like a family environment and this is a business that I highly recommend.

I started seeing her over a year ago; I found her on the Face Reality website & really wanted to get on top of the adult acne I had been experiencing since covid. I joined the Acne Bootcamp program & when I tell you Trish has worked miracles on my skin… I mean it! My acne has cleared up significantly & she’s really helped eliminate dark marks & even out my skin tone. She is incredibly knowledgeable about all things skincare including diet/lifestyle habits as well as the best skincare products for your skin type. She also makes herself easily available through text if you have questions or need to do a last minute product pickup, and I never ever feel like she’s trying to “upsell” me on things I don’t need. The acne bootcamp facials aren’t exactly intended to be relaxing (since a good portion of it involves extraction) but I always find myself looking forward to them & feel so relaxed that I take a little nap every time— LOL! I really feel like Trish has given me back confidence in my skin through her empathetic & attentive care. Last week I went to Hand & Stone for a massage and facial. I had excellent service from both Alyssa (massage therapist) and Kacey (aesthetician)! Alyssa gave me an amazing and very relaxing massage. Kacey is very knowledgeable in skin care and provided a top notch facial. The spa itself is clean, well-decorated, and has a sense of zen as soon as you walk in. I highly recommend this place if you need some professional and relaxing self care!

Jessica was thoughtful about my skincare needs & routine, & recommended products that are perfect me. The atmosphere of the spa is very luxurious! The ladies room offers different soaps & scrubs, private changing area with cubbies, a comfortable robe, & slippers. The lounge is the best place to relax, before, or after your service, with teas, snacks, & weighted blankets. The manager Ellen & her team are welcoming & provide a relaxing & peaceful experience... I can't wait to go back!

Incredible bridal makeup! I trialed a few different ones, but Edomoni was a stand out. She paid attention to detail, understands how makeup/colors work, and she was very open with any suggestions I had throughout the process without getting frustrated, which made the experience 10/10 and very comforting. Not everyone has the ability to understand what you are saying and execute. She's truly an artist. Everyone LOVED it and was talking about it for weeks! I was blown away. Highly recommend!
Tara was great! My hair was absolutely gorgeous. My makeup also lasted all night, including the lashes, which always seem to lift for me but they didn't budge. She was very kind and professional. All my girls loved her and they also looked amazing! The only thing I was slightly dissapointed in was that I asked to have my ears covered and they unfortunately were out in every picture. That being said, I would still 100% recommend Gatwick and Tara!
Obsessed with Kristin, her work, and her team that she brings is always so incredible too! I recently got married in August and she did my makeup for both the rehearsal and wedding day, and seriously wow! My makeup stayed on and looked flawless literally all night, even into the very late night at the bars! She's just incredible and I know that my bridesmaids and moms loved their makeup too!

My tattoo I got here from over a decade ago still looks nice. I was in there recently for something and what stood out was that it was very clean in there. Some may not like it but their site states they refuse to do unsafe piercings and I actually think that is a responsible thing that reflects positively on the establishment.
i’ve gotten 2 piercings here with 2 different piercers and they both were incredible!!! both were so kind and made it an overall fun experience. if i decide to get any more, i’ll definitely come here again

Myself and my sister used Lairson plumbing for years. They have always been bad about answering or returning calls. But my most recent experience has been absolutely terrible. I called them twice in a week to take care of an urgent issue, no response. Just to bug them to death and hopefully get a response i called them 26 times. I don't know how anyone runs a business without returning calls. I'll pick a new plumber. If i could give them a minus 100 degree rating I would. We are very happy with our new covered deck project. The design manager listened to our thoughts and drew a sketch that was exactly what we wanted. The project manager was very organized and detail oriented. We highly recommend DDR.
Based on the excellent reviews I saw and recommendations from horse people about this firm’s equine construction division, I met with their initial project manager on Oct. 10, 2025 to get an initial free estimate for building our new horse stable, the first phase of a multi building project. I provided them with a draftsman created blueprint for 7 stall, wash stall, tack room, rest room, laundry, run-in overhang etc. I thought it was a good meeting and was told that because they were so busy that it would take 2 to 3 weeks to get an initial free estimate as a prelude to a more formal commitment. After about 2 1/2 weeks, I called to ask about progress. I received a rather brusque call back from the project manager stating that he had told me 3 to 4 weeks (not so, I wrote his initial timeline estimate down because I was hoping to get other estimates). I am very disappointed that it is now 7 1/2 weeks out and I have heard nothing at all from them. I noted a review where the folks said they were treated well even for a small job. Well, they have passed up an opportunity to build a stable, main custom house, guest house, and indoor arena, all part of an extended plan. Why would anyone want to hire contractors who treat potential customers this way right from the start? My experience with these folks is not the same as what I have seen in other reviews, but that is okay since I will gladly go elsewhere where I can be treated with some professional courtesy.
After leaving a one-star review to which Anderson and Rodgers politely responded, I wish to amend my review. The company’s president, Teddy Rodgers, reached out to me and promised to ameliorate the situation—which he has admirably done. He explained how a critical employee’s marriage and honeymoon got in the way of my project’s followup as well as how another person’s transference impacted their usual handling of work. This definitely can happen in a large organization juggling many jobs. Yesterday Teddy spent two hours filling me in on construction details, smart building decisions, cost estimates, and contacts with sub-contractors. He had done a lot of research for which I am grateful, and he has gone the extra mile in trying to make up for the whole initial problem. We will probably meet again next week after he receives some more estimates. He has gained my trust, and even if Anderson and Rodgers ultimately does not get the contract to build my stable, I will definitely be talking with them again when it comes time to build our main house.

We had a great experience with HDH! We were referred by a friend who also had a good experience with remodeling of his home. Our project was large, including complete renovation of a kitchen and 3 bathrooms. From the first visit, Erik (owner) was so helpful and accommodating. I had a vague idea of what I wanted for our space and Erik was able to take what little vision I had and design something beautiful and updated that is still widely appealing if we ever decide to sell our home. With his design and layout ideas, we were able to add our own touches to fit our family.
The crew who actually completed our project (Victor and Ray) were fantastic. They worked on the project like it was their own home. We felt totally comfortable leaving the home for errands, knowing they were trustworthy and would take care of things and continue working while we were gone. They arrived right on time every day and worked throughout the day, efficiently completing all the work. And the work they completed is of excellent quality, with attention to detail. I'm pretty picky and Erik/team addressed any concerns I had. Erik was responsive and stayed in close communication throughout the months-long project. Would definitely use HDH again without hesitation and highly recommend them for any project!

Steve and his men did a great job replacing our sidewalks after a 105 foot tall pin oak tree fell across our front yard during the 2009 Lexington ice storm. Portions of the sidewalks had been crushed 3 feet into the ground. They removed the broken concrete, leveled out the ground and poured us nice new sidewalks. Wow. I mean, wow. The yard under the balcony was a sloped, muddy and eroded mess. Outdoor Spaces went, as one of the best idioms go to describe a service, “above and beyond” our expectation. It was a pleasure to meet everyone and Trey had no problem answering my worried questions. I appreciated that they laid a barrier down on my already questionable grass so as to not damage it. Care was taken around my existing garden bed and they even laid grass seed down when they were finished.

I’ve used Naturescape for years. The treatments have transformed yards at two homes, since I moved to Lexington. They use weed prevention and fertilizer. I have had bare spots fill and the grass has become thicker. I’ve used aeration and over seeding two falls. I recommend their services and the prices are reasonable.

TEN star review! Very neat and professional. We called 3 landscape contractors. One never returned the call. Another did - five days later. Jennifer with Mow-Mow's returned the call the same day and two days later she was back for planning and estimate work. She was VERY responsive through the entire process. The crew arrived on a Tuesday and the job was done by 2:00 the next day. This was a pretty big job and we were stunned by how fast our front yard was transformed from a weedy, overgrown mess to a beautiful garden. It makes us very happy. This is the second time I have used these folks. The first was several years ago to remove a large Cleveland Pear that had become too big for it's area. This time they removed two 20 year old Bradford Pears that had become weak and brittle. Same as before, no complaints. I would certainly recommend them. On a side note, shame on the city of Lexington for planting these horrid trees then leaving home owners to deal with them.

We had a couple of big overgrown very tall trees. They came and trimmed both of them and it has made a big difference. Cleaned up what they cut and a small pile I had cut too. Had really good equipment. Also they are arborists as one tree I was not sure it was worth saving.

I cannot say enough about Hamburg Expressions! I went in for a consultation. Dr Miller listened to my concerns which involved worn enamel on my front teeth that was becoming embarrassing. She didn’t just listen, she listened well, with empathy. After a great many images, she shared a temporary solution and long term plan to address the underlying cause of my enamel wear that was minimally invasive. She corrected the wear temporarily with a bond, taking immense care to get the teeth just right. When she handed the mirror to me I felt like she gave me back my smile! I am appreciative to say the least and I know that she will do what is best and judicious as we move forward towards a more permanent and sustainable solution. I had cracked a tooth on a very good German sausage while in Europe. I am a retired Lexington dentist having practiced here for over forty years. Dr. Cartee had joined the practice soon after I retired eight years ago. I knew he had taken extensive post graduate courses in surgery and implant placement. I decided to have him evaluate my problem which I knew was going to require a significant treatment. Five days ago Dr. Billy removed my tooth and placed a graft and implant. I was amazed when the entire procedure took just about one hour. Even though I knew every step of his procedure, I had no discomfort whatsoever during treatment. I did take two Tylenol before the numbness abated. Now, five days later I am still waiting for the first sign of discomfort. It is hard for me to say this, but I am thinking this young dentist may be better than I was!

When I first started going to Revive Chiropractic, I was in pretty bad shape. I was having neck and low back pain with numbness traveling down my arms and legs. Needless to say I was scared! In 8 weeks I went from living a life in daily pain to dancing again so I HIGHLY recommend! Dr. Nick and his staff are the kindest, friendliest, and caring people on earth! They have modern equipment that I have never seen before at any of my old chiropractors but it surely made me feel better! The service and experience is A++++ !!!

Having been to several Lexington area chiropractors I can tell you with certainty that Dr. Christian is light years ahead of the rest. Many “specialize” in one or two areas of the spine among the cervical, thoracic or lumbar and are weak on the others. Dr. C covers all of them as well as the entire rest of the body. I’ve had an arthritic condition in my thumb since 1996 which I gave up on alleviating for which he’s worked wonders, and he does it all with textbook technique, a smile and a fist bump (a gentle one in that he’s very physically fit, an absolute prerequisite for a chiropractic) to boot. Look no further than Elevate.

Having recurring lower back pain. Last time was about two years ago and the chiropractor adjusted me by swinging my leg over and pouncing on my thigh to get it back in line. It made a loud pop and scared the heck out of me. These folks use a totally different approach that is not as physical. Same result.

Our baby, Shadow Findlay has been going to Tates Creek with Dr. Lacing since he was a few months old! He has been battling blastomycosis and they are currently helping to save him.
I cannot recommend VWC enough. I drive an hour and a half to get here and it’s worth every second! I struggled with finding a reliable vet when I first moved to KY and after a few undesirable experiences at a previous vet, I decided to take a chance and try out VWC and it was the best decision I could’ve made! My dogs can be quite dramatic and sensitive, but at VWC they literally pull me through the door and behind the desk to see the wonderful front desk ladies who have spoiled them rotten with love and cookies from the very first time we set foot in the building. The vets are all so incredibly kind and patient with my goofy mutts and are always very attentive to their needs and proper care. They always let them go at their own pace with lots of kind words, encouragement and cookies! I trust them 1000% with my babies and I’m so grateful to have found them!

I was asked if there was anything else they could do while he was under .great question!! I had them removed the hair from his ears (mini Schnauzer) micro chip him and they did his nails beautifully!

This is the best vet we have ever used. As long as we are close enough we will use this vet. We have had beagles for years and being them all there. They love to come when other places they seem scared or anxious. The staff is always friendly and welcoming and our newest puppy is very hard to deal with. They are all very kind and patient. I recommend this place to all pet owners.

JESSICA IS AMAZING!! She is very knowledgeable about different breeds, patient and understanding. My babies are difficult and she handles them beautifully. She is VERY straight forward with you, so don't take it personally. She just tells you like it is for the benifit of your pet. Wouldn't trust anyone else.

I couldn’t be happier with the grooming services here! Helen is the best groomer I’ve ever worked with. She always does an amazing job with my poodle and pays attention to every detail. My dog comes home looking absolutely beautiful, clean, and perfectly groomed every time.

Ive been a regular monthly client for about a year and a half, but I have had occasional massage here since 1994. I have greatly benefitted from adding massage to my health practices. The providers are knowledgeable and supportive of my health goals related to strength, flexibility and pain management. There are a wide variety of options from gentle massage, deep tissue, couples, stones, and scents. The staff is very helpful recommending what therapists can provide the ideal experience you are wanting and happy to answer all your questions and concerns. Sceduling is an easy phone call, but for regular appointments its best to scedule ahead and not wait to the last minute. However, they work hard to get you in if you need to change or get a last minute appointment. The gift shop is always stocked with items to support your wellness and often have items that make nice gifts. The rooms are very cozy and decorated really nice. The massage tables are heated and easily adjustable for the thearpist. The music is always a pleasant background sound. Your offered a lovely heated towel at the end of the session, water and mint candy. There is plenty of space for your belongings and to change. The lighting is nice, no odd smells or noises to disturb your relaxation. The massage oil feels good on my skin, absorbs well, no sticky feeling after, and barely has any smell. Even tho the center is housed in an older downtown building it feels very updated, clean, safe, welcoming, and modern with classic charm. There is parking at the building and across the street. As long as I plan to be there 10-15 minutes early ive never had trouble parking in time for my appointment. I feel very pampered and cared for here and I highly recommend treating yourself at The Massage Center. Its a high value experience for the cost.

I'm fairly new to Creative Yoga. I've found my go to hot yoga studio. Recently moving to Lexington full time I've tried 5 or 6 studio. My class today with the instructor Bailey was the best class I've had. Why are her classes so good. She has a very good flow to her classes. Her voice is not over powering my mindful calmness, or so low I strugle to understand. She does the class with us. I feel seeing an instructor demonstrating the position is very benifcial giving me assurance the instructor is knowledgeable. I love giving recommendations when appropriate. Creative Yoga and Bailey are very desearving. Hope to see you in class. Come join us.

I swear if I could give this woman 10 stars instead of five, I would!! I have been going to her for probably close to 10 years. I’ve had several back issues from taking care of my sick father every time I go to her I leave feeling 10 times better. She is an amazing massage therapist and her technique is amazing! She has also helped me when I carpal tunnel in my right hand through massage. It has never returned. She customizes every massage to whatever problem you’re dealing with Plus, she uses hot stones and cupping at no extra charge! Over the years I have had many massages, none compare to Kristi. Last year I moved out of Lexington and I live one hour from her studio. When I am in need of a massage, I happily make that 1 hour drive because I now trust no one else. You might think you don’t have to be careful with choosing a massage therapist but trust me you do. In the past I’ve had horrible damage done to my back from a massage therapist that obviously did not know what they’re doing. I honestly cannot recommend Kristi’s studio enough! She’s also a wonderful person and over the years has become a friend.❤️

Oh did I mention... they have a new aesthetician Kahalah, she did my eye brows...she's awesome too! It's a one stop shop now....!

I took my mom there for her first time with acupuncture. She has chronic pain in her back and knee. The staff is great and the DR had my mom's pain cut in half in a short time. If your looking for pain relief without medicines this is the place to go. Can't wait to see the results down the road.
As someone who had no previous experience with acupuncture, I wasn't sure what to expect. I wasn’t skeptical, just unsure. It’s always a little uncomfortable trying something new, but the team makes it easy. Jessica, the receptionist, made the initial registration very simple and is always warm and welcoming. Deborah is fantastic and always gives you her full attention and the time to explain any health concerns. The overall experience is very calming.
I wasn't sure how much acupuncture would help my lower back pain, but I was open to the experience and more than happy to try something other than injections. Within a few visits, my back was feeling like it had a few years prior, which was a significant improvement.
I was able to increase my excercise routine, and eventually, begin running again without any lasting pain. With no prior acupuncture experience, I was surprised at how quickly (and how much) I felt relief.
I'm sure results vary from person to person, but for me, I'm grateful for the relief Deborah provided.
