BASE COLOR - NATURAL ASH PERFECTION! I have previously struggled with brassy base colors with other stylists. My nemesis! Hope created the perfect ash base color while avoiding brassy undertones. She actually listened to me when I said a developer at 20 was too strong for me and leaves my color brassy and she lowered it to what my fine hair prefers + tailored the color to my specific needs. She delivered that cooler base I had in my younger days.
BRIGHT HIGHLIGHTS = SHINE: The highlights are exactly what I wanted and have missed. The brightness against the ash base created that perfect contrast, imparting a shine straight from the beach. Her baby-lites are perfect and better for me than the trendy and thicker highlights that can overpower my fine hair and end up looking striped. Previously with other stylists, I have felt my highlights were muddy against my base color.
HAIR THINNING ISSUES: I am thinning around the hairline along my face and missed having highlights there, as base color only seemed to make it appear thicker but made my skin feel dull. Hope created the illusion of volume with a depth and brightness by artfully placing the highlights where I had enough base colored hair behind them to back them up. With highlights framing my face once again, I can pull my hair up or back and still have the brightness against my skin, yet I do not look bald.
SHE LISTENS! Hope's warmth, knowledge, and kindness were truly appreciated. She made me feel not only valued as a client but also understood on a personal level. Any time I've needed a haircut and she was on vacation I've tried a couple other places in Lexington and Sulphur Kentucky where I live now.
They don't come close at all to the quality of cutting hair than her.
It is worth the 1 1/2 hour drive to see her.

I have been desperately looking for someone to give me a trim and not try to upsell or push a bunch of other things on me. I don’t need balayage or extensions or sparkles or anything like that. I just wanted a freaking haircut without paying 100 bucks for it. I happened to walk in on a whim to see if this place could meet my needs because of the convenient parking location when I was in the area for something else. Lashawna was kind enough to squeeze me in and do exactly what I asked, without any added frills that I did not have time for today. She was efficient, friendly, affordable, and most of all, did exactly what I asked. My haircut came out BEAUTIFULLY. The location is relaxed and not overwhelming like so many cattle car salons out there. Customer for life!

Hands down the chilliest barbershop in town! Was out looking for a barber and came across this place! When I got there they was a barber outside with his dog and he said he could take me in just a few! Make a long story short I’m a customer for as long as he is around! All the barbers there and atmosphere is just like the old barbershops like when I was growing up! Just a good place! From my experience this is the highest quality barber shop in Central Kentucky. I have been a client of Hunter’s for over a year now, and I can’t remember ever receiving a more professional, consistent, and skilled haircut or beard trim in my life. The prices are very consistent with the quality of the cut, and I appreciate how easily I’m able to book in advance and find a convenient time that fits my schedule.

It was my first time visiting this particular shop. Needed something close to where I was going to be due to an appointment I had. I was the first one at the shop this particular morning. I just needed a pedicure, and the gentleman that was their greeted me soon as I walked in. He told me that they wasn't there yet but was on the way. I waited for about 5 or 10 more minutes and the gentleman who done my pedicure arrived. I had a great experience and will probably go back to see how well they do on nails. He done a fantastic job on my feet and took his time.
Under new ownership. I went in July 2024. Interior is totally remodeled. They have what seems like a thousand colors or more now. They told me they have 100 shades of chrome. The girl next to me got a cool design that turned out great. It felt clean and professional. The couple that owns it were there welcoming customers in. They were friendly and fun to talk with while I got my nails done. I will be going back for sure!!

Booked a couples massage for me and my best friend on her birthday. They did really great at accommodating us, answering our questions, and making us feel comfortable! Our guy’s name was Keith and he did a FANTASTIC job. If you need a tattoo, get it from this guy. He did my girlfriend’s tattoo and one for me. He reassured us and made sure everything was done exactly as we wanted it. He had fantastic suggestions for our tattoos and made sure the color came out on my girlfriend’s tattoo exactly how she wanted it. He helped make sure the design for my tattoo came out exactly how I wanted it to be. We couldn’t have had a better tattoo experience. The rates were beyond reasonable and our artist was talented and deserved every penny. We would go here again in a heartbeat!! (The green anemo symbol is a few days old in the picture, and the one on my left arm the “Cut here” is day of.)

Me and my boyfriend were out of town and wanted to get a quick tattoo before we leave from vacation. Called the store to see if they had walk-in and sure enough they did. We went to the place was clean and quiet. Me and my boyfriend both got tattoos and was out of there at a reasonable time. Matt was very nice and talkative. He drew up the tattoos and it was a quick process. I would recommend and would come again if we are back next year.

We called this company as referred by my parents, and glad we did. The owner gave us options. He was courteous, professional, and knowledgeable. We wanted to sign up right away, he sent us the quote that evening, and we accepted and scheduled an installation a week later. Just today, The electrician team came and was again courteous, professional, knowledgeable, clean, thorough, and quick! For a competitive price, they installed four can lights in what used to be a dungeon of a dining room and fixed an outdated dimmer in our pool room. I cannot recommend this company enough. Bluegrass Company is A #1 +++ in our opinion and neither my husband nor I are relatives, or personal friends. This is the second time that we have had them - this time, because we reupholstered furniture and wanted it protected the right way! In addition to protecting the new upholstery, Kevin shared with us the specifics of how to handle any spills that may occur, AND they are now doing the same excellent job on hardwood floors. Kevin told us which products we should NOT use on our wood floors along with the 'why', and agreed that our floors are not in need (yet) of any attention beyond the usual. Sorry to be so wordy but I never get anything out of 'one word' ratings- I always want the reasoning behind the rating- and now you have it!

I had the pleasure of having Autumn H clean my home and it was great! I love using top mops for a few reasons: 1) great communication.. I knew exactly when she was arriving and when she left.. also I knew what she intended to do, what she needed before she came, and what to expect. She also asked if there was anything I really wanted her to focus on 2) the products she used actually cleaned my laminate floors and didn’t leave it streaky.. also no weird smells 3) I can tell she actually moved things to clean under and behind them 4) she cleaned my backsplash I feel like this is something that gets over looked 5) i have a black Aussie doodle who sheds very badly and she was able to get his fluff off the trim and off my white floors 6) the overall professionalism autumn h demonstrated was great! I can’t say enough good things about my experience working with Anderson & Rodgers! Everyone I interacted with was incredibly kind, professional, thorough, and a pleasure to work with. HDH remodeled my kitchen a couple of years ago and I still love it. They really listened to what we wanted. There was a pipe that had to be moved after taking the old soffit out. HDH worked around the problem and still finished the project on time. I wanted a pot filler over the stove but no room with the current stove. Several months later I got a new stove and they came back and put the pot filler in. We are very pleased with their work.
We are very pleased with the new (17' x 20') deck that Distinctive Design Remodeling built for us in Jan of 2024 under the hipped roof that they previously built for us in Oct of 2022. Jesse was awesome during the job proposal process. Jon did a great job of answering any of our questions. Jordan kept us informed constantly during the construction process and resolved any concerns we had. We highly recommend these guys for any home improvement project you might have.
Any kind of work that takes you out of your home is stressful, but working with Marshall’s made it a lot less stressful. We were promised 4-6 weeks out of our house and we’re back in at the 4 week mark. Once the work was actually able to start when all materials were in the work just seemed to fly by. We have a very active 2 year old little boy and getting him back into his normal routine as quick as we could was important to us and Marshall’s made sure that happened. I called Manny in a panic, our water heater rusted through and water came into the house, ruining our flooring. Thankfully, he had a gap in a job, and was able to get three of his employees out within a few days. All three of his crew members were friendly, punctual, professional, tidy and knowledgeable! Our small bathroom was put back together in no time, our dining room was corrected and completed in just a few hours and our kitchen was retiled and back to functional in less than 3 days! Ultimate has taken care of our yard in Picadome Park for over 5 years. They are super professional, service us on time and have turned our yard from an overgrown, weed-infested plot of land into a true yard. Many of our friends and neighbors have hired Ultimate because of the success we have had. They are local - so you aren't over paying for some big national company. Great group of guys that get the job done quick and efficiently. They were removing a tree in my front yard that was infected by a fungus. It was a hazard to not just my family, but my neighbors as well. Got a fair pricing and the work was completed within a total of two work days. Took two days simply cause they didn't wanna ruin my yard with the machinery while it was still a bit wet outside. From the time I moved in to when they were able to show up, I had several large branches fall as well as smaller debris that I had collected and placed on my front porch. Without being asked, they cleared that off without hesitation. Again, great group of guys that get the job done quick and efficiently.
They did an amazing job! We had a tree fall, needed others removed, and some trimming done. When every other company was telling us it would take months to get to us, Ivan and his team were able to get to us much faster than that and for a very reasonable price. Their team did a great job of removing the trees and stumps as well as guiding us on what would look best when it came to the trimming of the trees. Was my first time going back to the dentist in the while , and I actually enjoyed it at Arnold family dentistry. Sometimes we can lose track of time or push off going back but I think my main reason was because I was uncomfortable, judged, or just simply not treated good and it makes your experiences bad. Well not this time. They have amazing and caring staff. It’s really a good atmosphere. I was really nervous upon arrival but once we got started it all went away. Marley took great care of my teeth. They are very good at what they do and very detailed at explaining everything going on and anything you need to know. Thank you for making me feel comfortable and at home here. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Just went to my first visit to see Dr Pugh and I can tell you I have never been to a chiropractor that does all the things they do to make you better. There staff is top notch and very caring if you live in the Lexington area this is the only chiropractor you will ever need it’s an Awesome place!!

I have been seeing Dr. Sara Brown for almost two years. Every adjustment is catered to my body, gentle and just where needed. Never a hard or rough experience. The focus is on daily habits, care and physical therapy. Recently I had a pretty intense pain after a vacation and Dr Sara was able to find a rib that was not in place and gently fixed it. It was amazing how much better I feel and I was able to instantly stop pain meds for it.
I love this place & Doc C. I drive from out of town to go there. I wouldn’t see another & didn't for years until I could go back. Top notch care & equipment. Awesome atmosphere & staff. Everyone is always kind & easy going. They genuinely care about your health & progress. It feels more like a visit with friends while getting treatment than just going to a sterile impersonal clinic. Dr TJ himself, is truly a treasure of a Dr. To find someone who listens, genuinely cares, offers suggestions and looks at health from a total picture perspective is so encouraging. I haven't felt this much physical relief in a long time. My four year old and six year old also love it here. I never imagined looking forward to visits at a doctors office until now. I took my son here to see Dr. Jenna Turner. He was having digestive issues, and sleep issues. After just 1 visit he was doing much better! Dr. Jenna was also very playful, fun, and interactive with my 3 yr old. He loves coming to their office to see her and views it as a “fun” outing.

I really appreciate Dr. Lacy and the team at Tates Creek Animal Hospital. I adopted an 8 month-old GSD in 2023 who we realized had been very poorly socialized and, as a result, was terrified of pretty much everything. Dr. Lacy and the techs we've seen have been so patient and kind with him at every visit. They also worked with us to develop a plan to manage his anxiety, and I'm happy to say that, after about a year now, he is a much more confident and happy dog. I would recommend Tates Creek to anyone, but especially if you're looking for compassionate care for a maybe more complicated pet, they're amazing.

I can't say enough about Dr. Sheets and his team at Lexington Animal Clinic. I brought my 19-year-old Persian Siamese cat to the vet to be treated for an upper respiratory infection. At that age it's a very serious situation. Dr. Sheets and his team of Dalton and Cheryl took such great care of Max. They nursed him back to good health and treated him as if he was a newborn kitten. We realized, too, that Max still had some fight in him. I highly recommend Dr. Sheets, Dalton and Cheryl. They went above and beyond in treating my senior cat as if he was a younger cat or kitten that needed help. I truly appreciate it. Lexington Animal Clinic is simply the best.

One of the main things I love is that it’s the standard of care for daycare to come with boarding and isn’t an “additional service.” To allow dogs to socialize when they have to be boarded shouldn’t be something you have to add on as an extra service like other competitors here in our town. I also loved having access to the camera so that I could check in on him during the day. My doggo was a very happy pup when I picked him up! It was like picking a kid up from summer camp. I can’t say the same about another place we have taken him to, in which I could tell by his demeanor that he had been upset while being boarded. The atmosphere and people made me feel so comfortable leaving him at Dogtopia - Lexington.
The staff at Camp Bow Wow is so friendly. They seem to like people almost as much as they love dogs! Phone calls and emails get answered right away. The whole environment is dog centric and dog safe. You can even see your pup on the petcam in real time. I’m always bragging about Bow Wow to anyone needing doggy daycare or boarding.

We got our Australian Shepard/Great Pyrenees groomed at this location. The drop off was quick and easy and the staff was friendly and professional. They work on multiple dogs at a time so we didn’t receive a time window for pick up. Overall, he was there 2.5 hours which is better than some other competitors we have used in the past. They did a great job on the cut. We will use their services in the future.
My dog is disabled and they accommodated him really well . They did an amazing job with his cut . No nicks and they got all his mats out . The price is fair and worth it for the services they do and for the patience and care they put into their work .
