This is the second time I have used these folks. The first was several years ago to remove a large Cleveland Pear that had become too big for it's area. This time they removed two 20 year old Bradford Pears that had become weak and brittle. Same as before, no complaints. I would certainly recommend them. On a side note, shame on the city of Lexington for planting these horrid trees then leaving home owners to deal with them.

I've been to medusa's two times now, one for cut and another for color, and I genuinely look forward to my appointments here! Not just for the super cool stuff to my hair, but to relax. Ryann is super cool and chill, and they have some interesting stories and such to talk about while doing your hair! The pricing is honestly amazing, and the environment is so comfortable! Going places is super hard for me, as well as doing anything to my hair, but I feel comfortable to do it with Ryann. I love their betta fish as well, he's very pretty! BASE COLOR - NATURAL ASH PERFECTION! I have previously struggled with brassy base colors with other stylists. My nemesis! Hope created the perfect ash base color while avoiding brassy undertones. She actually listened to me when I said a developer at 20 was too strong for me and leaves my color brassy and she lowered it to what my fine hair prefers + tailored the color to my specific needs. She delivered that cooler base I had in my younger days.
BRIGHT HIGHLIGHTS = SHINE: The highlights are exactly what I wanted and have missed. The brightness against the ash base created that perfect contrast, imparting a shine straight from the beach. Her baby-lites are perfect and better for me than the trendy and thicker highlights that can overpower my fine hair and end up looking striped. Previously with other stylists, I have felt my highlights were muddy against my base color.
HAIR THINNING ISSUES: I am thinning around the hairline along my face and missed having highlights there, as base color only seemed to make it appear thicker but made my skin feel dull. Hope created the illusion of volume with a depth and brightness by artfully placing the highlights where I had enough base colored hair behind them to back them up. With highlights framing my face once again, I can pull my hair up or back and still have the brightness against my skin, yet I do not look bald.
SHE LISTENS! Hope's warmth, knowledge, and kindness were truly appreciated. She made me feel not only valued as a client but also understood on a personal level. I know with my very specific concerns, it might not be as much fun or creative for a stylist, but she never made me feel odd for all my input.

Went today for the first time today. Great place, clean, and the place itself is nice. Famo did my cut. He was a pleasure to work with, detail oriented, and cool to hang out with. Shelly at No Lines Tanning is the absolute best! She’s been doing my spray tans for years, and I always love the results—natural, even, and flawless every time. I wouldn’t go anywhere else!
Very clean salon, prices for tanning are awesome…. $8-$10 for a single visit and $30 for a monthly package. However, I’m not a fan of their tanning beds. The bulbs are out frequently and the bulbs just aren’t strong . Employees are very kind.

I get a gel mani/pedi and it lasts very well, which is exactly what I’m
looking for—usually still intact at weeks 3 and 4! Once when a nail chipped after 2 weeks, they fixed it promptly and for free. The style is 1990s and a bit drab and sometimes the nail techs seem tired and bored, but after 20 years, I can’t blame them. I just want nice, long lasting nails at a fair price without too much waiting and I get that here. A lot of the nicer places I’ve visited gave gel manicures that didn’t last over a week, so I’m glad to find folks who are competent at their job!

Words cannot describe how wonderful my experience was here with Mickey and Samantha. The kindness, compassion and love that they showed me has made me a life long customer. I came in with quite the disaster of a color situation and they took time and were very gentle with me (it was embarrassing walking in there such a mess) and literally performed a miracle. If you are looking for a salon that cares and knows what they are doing, do yourself a favor and come here. I will also say that the way they worked together and the kindness among the staff was so nice to see as well. It felt like a family environment and this is a business that I highly recommend.

I started seeing her over a year ago; I found her on the Face Reality website & really wanted to get on top of the adult acne I had been experiencing since covid. I joined the Acne Bootcamp program & when I tell you Trish has worked miracles on my skin… I mean it! My acne has cleared up significantly & she’s really helped eliminate dark marks & even out my skin tone. She is incredibly knowledgeable about all things skincare including diet/lifestyle habits as well as the best skincare products for your skin type. She also makes herself easily available through text if you have questions or need to do a last minute product pickup, and I never ever feel like she’s trying to “upsell” me on things I don’t need. The acne bootcamp facials aren’t exactly intended to be relaxing (since a good portion of it involves extraction) but I always find myself looking forward to them & feel so relaxed that I take a little nap every time— LOL! I really feel like Trish has given me back confidence in my skin through her empathetic & attentive care. Incredible bridal makeup! I trialed a few different ones, but Edomoni was a stand out. She paid attention to detail, understands how makeup/colors work, and she was very open with any suggestions I had throughout the process without getting frustrated, which made the experience 10/10 and very comforting. Tara was great! My hair was absolutely gorgeous. My makeup also lasted all night, including the lashes, which always seem to lift for me but they didn't budge. She was very kind and professional. All my girls loved her and they also looked amazing! The only thing I was slightly dissapointed in was that I asked to have my ears covered and they unfortunately were out in every picture. That being said, I would still 100% recommend Gatwick and Tara!
Obsessed with Kristin, her work, and her team that she brings is always so incredible too! I recently got married in August and she did my makeup for both the rehearsal and wedding day, and seriously wow! My makeup stayed on and looked flawless literally all night, even into the very late night at the bars! She's just incredible and I know that my bridesmaids and moms loved their makeup too!

My tattoo I got here from over a decade ago still looks nice. I was in there recently for something and what stood out was that it was very clean in there. Some may not like it but their site states they refuse to do unsafe piercings and I actually think that is a responsible thing that reflects positively on the establishment.

They genuinely care, are thoughtful, patient, clean, and investigate to determine the best product for the client's specific situation. They do not try to make a quick sale. They explain things so people who are not in the trades can understand. These are the people you want to have work in your home.
I cannot say enough about this company. They have sent the most competent crew members to our home. The receptionist (Jennifer?) has gone out of their way to schedule getting life back in order each time. Our experiences now include HVAC and water heater care or replacements. They always given us all the options without the pressure sell and made us feel secure that we were getting the best equipment for our home. Meanwhile, on one particular occasion, the work had to be done while my elder mother was the only receiving person at home. She was made utterly at ease. We called on Monday and they came out to Flemingsburg on Thursday to fix our leaky bathtub faucet. They were able to work with our schedule which is really nice because we don’t get home until 5pm from work and sometimes it’s hard to schedule things because of that. Steve was very nice and professional and finished the job quickly! We appreciate that they service the Flemingsburg area since we’re a bit of a drive from Lexington and don’t have many options closer to us.

Myself and my sister used Lairson plumbing for years. They have always been bad about answering or returning calls. But my most recent experience has been absolutely terrible. I called them twice in a week to take care of an urgent issue, no response. Just to bug them to death and hopefully get a response i called them 26 times. I don't know how anyone runs a business without returning calls. I'll pick a new plumber. If i could give them a minus 100 degree rating I would. We had them running electrical for a kiln and for a hot tub. The price was fantastic. Based on the excellent reviews I saw and recommendations from horse people about this firm’s equine construction division, I met with their initial project manager on Oct. 10, 2025 to get an initial free estimate for building our new horse stable, the first phase of a multi building project. I provided them with a draftsman created blueprint for 7 stall, wash stall, tack room, rest room, laundry, run-in overhang etc. I thought it was a good meeting and was told that because they were so busy that it would take 2 to 3 weeks to get an initial free estimate as a prelude to a more formal commitment. After about 2 1/2 weeks, I called to ask about progress. I received a rather brusque call back from the project manager stating that he had told me 3 to 4 weeks (not so, I wrote his initial timeline estimate down because I was hoping to get other estimates). I am very disappointed that it is now 7 1/2 weeks out and I have heard nothing at all from them. I noted a review where the folks said they were treated well even for a small job. Well, they have passed up an opportunity to build a stable, main custom house, guest house, and indoor arena, all part of an extended plan. Why would anyone want to hire contractors who treat potential customers this way right from the start? My experience with these folks is not the same as what I have seen in other reviews, but that is okay since I will gladly go elsewhere where I can be treated with some professional courtesy.
After leaving a one-star review to which Anderson and Rodgers politely responded, I wish to amend my review. The company’s president, Teddy Rodgers, reached out to me and promised to ameliorate the situation—which he has admirably done. He explained how a critical employee’s marriage and honeymoon got in the way of my project’s followup as well as how another person’s transference impacted their usual handling of work. This definitely can happen in a large organization juggling many jobs. Yesterday Teddy spent two hours filling me in on construction details, smart building decisions, cost estimates, and contacts with sub-contractors. He had done a lot of research for which I am grateful, and he has gone the extra mile in trying to make up for the whole initial problem. We will probably meet again next week after he receives some more estimates. He has gained my trust, and even if Anderson and Rodgers ultimately does not get the contract to build my stable, I will definitely be talking with them again when it comes time to build our main house.

We had a great experience with HDH! We were referred by a friend who also had a good experience with remodeling of his home. Our project was large, including complete renovation of a kitchen and 3 bathrooms. From the first visit, Erik (owner) was so helpful and accommodating. I had a vague idea of what I wanted for our space and Erik was able to take what little vision I had and design something beautiful and updated that is still widely appealing if we ever decide to sell our home. With his design and layout ideas, we were able to add our own touches to fit our family.
The crew who actually completed our project (Victor and Ray) were fantastic. They worked on the project like it was their own home. We felt totally comfortable leaving the home for errands, knowing they were trustworthy and would take care of things and continue working while we were gone. They arrived right on time every day and worked throughout the day, efficiently completing all the work. And the work they completed is of excellent quality, with attention to detail. I'm pretty picky and Erik/team addressed any concerns I had. Erik was responsive and stayed in close communication throughout the months-long project. Would definitely use HDH again without hesitation and highly recommend them for any project!
Another wonderful job done by Letitia and Sergie. They designed a bar in our basement. From start to finish was a wonderful experience, all done efficiently and great workmanship. Can’t wait to entertain. Thank you both for a job done well as always.

Steve and his men did a great job replacing our sidewalks after a 105 foot tall pin oak tree fell across our front yard during the 2009 Lexington ice storm. Portions of the sidewalks had been crushed 3 feet into the ground. They removed the broken concrete, leveled out the ground and poured us nice new sidewalks. Outdoor Spaces is absolutely amazing! They corrected a disruption in the concrete of our driveway caused by a tree root—while preserving both the root and the tree with care!—using gorgeous pavers. They also created our long-dreamed-of walkway with pavers-- flowing gracefully from the front to the back of our house, complete with a stunning landscape design and perfectly chosen plantings suited to the sun and space (Wendy was a great help in her planting advice).

Jennifer with Mow-Mow's returned the call the same day and two days later she was back for planning and estimate work. She was VERY responsive through the entire process. The crew arrived on a Tuesday and the job was done by 2:00 the next day. This was a pretty big job and we were stunned by how fast our front yard was transformed from a weedy, overgrown mess to a beautiful garden. It makes us very happy. This is the second time I have used these folks. The first was several years ago to remove a large Cleveland Pear that had become too big for it's area. This time they removed two 20 year old Bradford Pears that had become weak and brittle. Same as before, no complaints. I would certainly recommend them. On a side note, shame on the city of Lexington for planting these horrid trees then leaving home owners to deal with them.

We had a couple of big overgrown very tall trees. They came and trimmed both of them and it has made a big difference. Cleaned up what they cut and a small pile I had cut too. Had really good equipment. Also they are arborists as one tree I was not sure it was worth saving.

When I first started going to Revive Chiropractic, I was in pretty bad shape. I was having neck and low back pain with numbness traveling down my arms and legs. Needless to say I was scared! In 8 weeks I went from living a life in daily pain to dancing again so I HIGHLY recommend! Dr. Nick and his staff are the kindest, friendliest, and caring people on earth! I took my son here to see Dr. Jenna Turner. He was having digestive issues, and sleep issues. After just 1 visit he was doing much better! Dr. Jenna was also very playful, fun, and interactive with my 3 yr old. He loves coming to their office to see her and views it as a “fun” outing.

Having been to several Lexington area chiropractors I can tell you with certainty that Dr. Christian is light years ahead of the rest. Many “specialize” in one or two areas of the spine among the cervical, thoracic or lumbar and are weak on the others. Dr. C covers all of them as well as the entire rest of the body. I’ve had an arthritic condition in my thumb since 1996 which I gave up on alleviating for which he’s worked wonders, and he does it all with textbook technique, a smile and a fist bump (a gentle one in that he’s very physically fit, an absolute prerequisite for a chiropractic) to boot. Look no further than Elevate.

Our baby, Shadow Findlay has been going to Tates Creek with Dr. Lacing since he was a few months old! He has been battling blastomycosis and they are currently helping to save him.
I cannot recommend VWC enough. I drive an hour and a half to get here and it’s worth every second! I struggled with finding a reliable vet when I first moved to KY and after a few undesirable experiences at a previous vet, I decided to take a chance and try out VWC and it was the best decision I could’ve made! My dogs can be quite dramatic and sensitive, but at VWC they literally pull me through the door and behind the desk to see the wonderful front desk ladies who have spoiled them rotten with love and cookies from the very first time we set foot in the building. The vets are all so incredibly kind and patient with my goofy mutts and are always very attentive to their needs and proper care. They always let them go at their own pace with lots of kind words, encouragement and cookies! I trust them 1000% with my babies and I’m so grateful to have found them!

I was asked if there was anything else they could do while he was under .great question!! I had them removed the hair from his ears (mini Schnauzer) micro chip him and they did his nails beautifully!
As soon as we got in the woman who roomed us was very kind and welcoming and even though our dog tried to urinate she was very kind and said if she did then it was ok which eased the stress from usual vets. The room is amazing! Feels like I am in a living room and it is calming for our dog and gave her plenty of room to move around.
This is the best vet we have ever used. As long as we are close enough we will use this vet. We have had beagles for years and being them all there. They love to come when other places they seem scared or anxious. The staff is always friendly and welcoming and our newest puppy is very hard to deal with. They are all very kind and patient. I recommend this place to all pet owners.

Our family has trusted this veterinary hospital for many years, and they continue to exceed every expectation. We recently had our puppy spayed and the level of compassion, professionalism, and communication we received was absolutely outstanding. They treated our fur baby like she was their own.

For the first time in a very long time we have a comprehensive plan to get my dog healthy again! Dr. Miller and her vet tech were very kind, knowledgeable, and helpful. They spent a lot of time explaining everything and going over the details of Ronnie’s treatment plan )she has alopecia and a minor skin infection). They also are helping with her allergies. I would highly recommend taking your pet here!

Used her facility for a layover for my horses while doing sightseeing in Lexington and at the KY Hp. Dr Poole is so welcoming and Her facility boasts, large stalls, Stripped daily, turn out pens and supervision all day.
We were able to park our large living quarters and hook up to electric and water We also had no apprehension about leaving our horses while sightseeing
We spent a lot of time talking with Dr. Pool, who just shared so much with us and Answered all of our questions.

Campbow is my husky’s favorite place to go and burn her energy. Employees greet not only both of us, but Luna by her name. Campbow has special events/activities for a small fee each week which is great for one on one interaction.
Our Great Pyrenees, named Duke, is never more happy than when he is at Keshlyn. And we are happy also. We are totally happy with the care provided to him at Keshlyn, and also with the customer service provided to us. Keshlyn has become a Lexington institution, and for good reason. It’s as good as it gets!
JESSICA IS AMAZING!! She is very knowledgeable about different breeds, patient and understanding. My babies are difficult and she handles them beautifully. She is VERY straight forward with you, so don't take it personally. She just tells you like it is for the benifit of your pet. Wouldn't trust anyone else.

I had taken my little girl somewhere else and they wouldn’t take her because they felt uncomfortable about how finicky she was, and then someone recommended I take her to House of Houndz I’m so glad I did! We arranged a couples massage with Lee & Bella for a deep tissue massage! Very swanky venue that restored an elementary school into various small businesses. Woman owned and led. Coffee shop and photography. Gym in the basement. Upscale boutiques and gift shop. Nice staff and very welcoming. Clean and attentive. Friendly and accommodating. Informative about future therapy.

I've been a client of Laura Cox, the chief yoga instructor at Breathe Pilates, since 2013. It's been one of the best parts of my life since -- practicing yoga as her student and client.I started yoga knowing NOTHING about it. I wasn't exercising regularly and rarely ever had. Over several years working with her and other fine folks at a local hot yoga studio I still go to on off days from Breathe, I learned peace and grit while gaining strength and flexibility I never thought a middle-aged guy could pick up. The main reason for that was Laura's excellent teaching. She remains enthusiastic in each class, individualizes instruction for you in group settings, and was very popular among the clients at the studio.She had wheels in motion to open her own studio just when the COVID lockdown hit, and she went through with it, opening first through Zoom and over time in person (though she still has several Zoom clients from all over the country). I started attending her Vinyasa classes and am so glad I still do. My strength and flexibility continues to improve, and it says a lot that I get out of bed early to go work out with her when I'd usually sleep in otherwise. It's an amazing way to start the day three days a week.Laura's studio at Breathe is the best yoga experience you could ask for. It only holds a few people, and it's not unusual for there to only be a couple of us in person with one or two additional folks on Zoom. That means she can really help us individually, and we also get to have fun with her as she sings us instructions or yells out "Party Toes" randomly. She designs workouts that she knows we need and caters them to who's in class that day. For example, I fell on black ice six years ago and smashed my L1 vertebra together, limiting my lower back flexibility and especially my ability to do situps and traditional ab work. It's common for us to do ab work in yoga classes I attend that I can actually do -- she makes it possible for me by seeking out exercises for that part of the body that vary from the standard, and yoga has helped me live a normal life (my physical therapy -- the doctor told me to go back to yoga class as it was already doing all we'd do in PT). She's always learning new methods and trying them on us to help us as a class and individually -- a perpetual student and teacher.So if you're new to yoga or have some experience and just want to find a relaxed and helpful studio, Laura's Breathe yoga classes are an awesome choice. Her rates are reasonable, and her careful guidance is priceless.
The staff is excellent and kind. I’ve come here for 14 years and it’s changed my life all for the better. A hidden gem!

Both Bridgette and Alexran are outstanding! From the energy being consistent throughout the work out, the hands on adjustments, demonstrating exercises, and the encouragement to push us/myself. 4am and 5ams are better because of them!
I started out with the 2 week ultimate lid classes they offer new people and I was hooked
I use the app to book my classes, and unlock the door (you do have this option instead of punching in the code) you are able to check in 10 mins till classes start!
If you can't make a class you do have to cancel in a 10hr window(which is fair to give others on the waitlist to accept and prepare for the classes) if you do miss they give you one grace pass every 30 days (I think again is fair)

She customizes every massage to whatever problem you’re dealing with Plus, she uses hot stones and cupping at no extra charge! Over the years I have had many massages, none compare to Kristi. Last year I moved out of Lexington and I live one hour from her studio. When I am in need of a massage, I happily make that 1 hour drive because I now trust no one else. You might think you don’t have to be careful with choosing a massage therapist but trust me you do. In the past I’ve had horrible damage done to my back from a massage therapist that obviously did not know what they’re doing. I honestly cannot recommend Kristi’s studio enough! She’s also a wonderful person and over the years has become a friend.❤️
Malama Massage Center a Women owned business has some of the best massage therapist I've ever been to, and of the five ladies there...I've seen of three of them, they have not disappointed! And now they're offering Lymphatic Drainage Massage by Anihhya...I've gotta book with her as well! Nina...the owner has been in business for over 20yrs and it shows in her Therapists! Oh did I mention... they have a new aesthetician Kahalah, she did my eye brows...she's awesome too! It's a one stop shop now....!

So I have been going to Lion and Dragon for almost 2 years; and let me tell you I can't even begin to tell you how good I feel after each session. Brenda has literally helped relieve tension, pain, and overall improved my quality of life. I was sent by the VA and have always chosen to come back. Each time I enter the office I am greeted warmly and asked what pains I'm having and am guided to the room and given time to disrobe and have the massage table heated(very big perk as it's cold) during the time I'm either attended to all pains or aches and each time given courteous and prompt help each time. I can't say enough about this place. Will continue to keep coming back

The space is serene yet full of healing warmth and energy, the practitioner knowledgeable and ready to share what he knows. Needles placed with a deftness confidence which inspire trust and faith. I am having more days when I'm able get out of bed for the first time in almost a year (Many visits and tests ordered by my primary care doctor and specialists have yet to pinpoint a diagnosis). I will be continuing treatments at Blue Lotus with faith that there will be further improvement!

I took my mom there for her first time with acupuncture. She has chronic pain in her back and knee. The staff is great and the DR had my mom's pain cut in half in a short time. If your looking for pain relief without medicines this is the place to go. Can't wait to see the results down the road.

We talked about everything from acupuncture to academia—a welcoming vibe and experience ? I cannot say anything about the treatment itself—in terms of whether or not it “works”—but it was relatively painless and very relaxing!
