“Twelve years ago Rio Grande built a fine fence around my back yard. Recently it needed a new gate. As with the initial build Rio Grande was exceptional. The gate was built with my input, and work was done on some boards from the original fence that went above and beyond what I expected. They came back a couple of times for some adjustments. Fast, friendly and fantastic work.

Special thanks go to representative Medina Blanton. Working with her throughout the process was more than satisfying. She was thorough, accommodating and dealt with questions quickly and clearly. And she’s incredibly friendly. I’m writing this review as much to compliment her as Rio Grande itself.

“Based on the excellent reviews I saw and recommendations from horse people about this firm’s equine construction division, I met with their initial project manager on Oct. 10, 2025 to get an initial free estimate for building our new horse stable, the first phase of a multi building project. I provided them with a draftsman created blueprint for 7 stall, wash stall, tack room, rest room, laundry, run-in overhang etc. I thought it was a good meeting and was told that because they were so busy that it would take 2 to 3 weeks to get an initial free estimate as a prelude to a more formal commitment. After about 2 1/2 weeks, I called to ask about progress. I received a rather brusque call back from the project manager stating that he had told me 3 to 4 weeks (not so, I wrote his initial timeline estimate down because I was hoping to get other estimates). I am very disappointed that it is now 7 1/2 weeks out and I have heard nothing at all from them. I noted a review where the folks said they were treated well even for a small job. Well, they have passed up an opportunity to build a stable, main custom house, guest house, and indoor arena, all part of an extended plan. Why would anyone want to hire contractors who treat potential customers this way right from the start? My experience with these folks is not the same as what I have seen in other reviews, but that is okay since I will gladly go elsewhere where I can be treated with some professional courtesy.

After leaving a one-star review to which Anderson and Rodgers politely responded, I wish to amend my review. The company’s president, Teddy Rodgers, reached out to me and promised to ameliorate the situation—which he has admirably done. He explained how a critical employee’s marriage and honeymoon got in the way of my project’s followup as well as how another person’s transference impacted their usual handling of work. This definitely can happen in a large organization juggling many jobs. Yesterday Teddy spent two hours filling me in on construction details, smart building decisions, cost estimates, and contacts with sub-contractors. He had done a lot of research for which I am grateful, and he has gone the extra mile in trying to make up for the whole initial problem. We will probably meet again next week after he receives some more estimates. He has gained my trust, and even if Anderson and Rodgers ultimately does not get the contract to build my stable, I will definitely be talking with them again when it comes time to build our main house.“

“General Contractor here; We were dealing with a leaking synthetic slate roof that was installed improperly. I called five different reputable companies, two of which weren't comfortable working on this type of roof. Out of the three that came out only Noah from Reliable Residential Roofing even got on the roof to inspect. This was a tall two-story home with a flat roof (2/12). Noah identified four areas of concern that the other two companies that came out couldn't/didn't identify with their drones. Not only did Noah inspect the roof, but he also put a temporary vent boot over a vent and cleared minor debris as part of his inspection. His quote was right in line with the only other quote we received but for a better product. Save yourself some hassle and call Noah at Reliable Residential Roofing!“
