They offered me Turkish coffee. I had had it once before in a Turkish restaurant, but this one was so much better. Delicious! They even offered my husband a cup while he waited. The attention to details is fantastic. My highlight was a little too light for my liking. Mina was so kind and toned it for me, no problem. She also noticed the hair cut I had gotten 2 weeks ago was bad and trimmed and fixed it for me. Mina blow dried and styled my hair. It turned out beautifully. I highly recommend Smyrna’s Hair Salon. Not a resident yet but did a tour with Brooke today. First impression of the building walking in was it had a luxurious but fun vibe with the scent of a 5 star hotel. Cool artwork throughout the building, amenities were up to date and seemed well maintained. Apartment I saw was gorgeous, couldn’t believe there was a coat closet! Could def see myself coming home here and feeling comfortable. Brooke was very professional throughout the showing, she was warm, attentive with a razor sharp professionalism. Def the front runner in the search for my new place.

Coraline is an incredible artist. I have been going to her for almost 3 years. She does incredible Vivids. I had bright pinks and orange with and without extensions. Gave her inspo photos and she did exactly what I asked for. A year ago, decided to go blonde and she was able to get me to blonde perfectly. I now have gorgeous blond hair with extensions in the gold tone I wanted. My actual hair color is very dark brown. Miracle worker! She is also a really great person and the hours fly by when I get my hair done. I drive from St Petersburg because I do not trust anyone else. Very cool atmosphere in the salon, as well. Amazing service, called in without appointment Dumar took me in, set up expectations about possible wait times, I got there it was easy to get parking, came in was greeted by Elias, he was fantastic and super friendly and offered me some soft drinks, I came from training Capoeira and could not refuse to that so grabbed a complimentary Pineapple juice it was very refreshing. When my turn came I was able to chat with Oswaldo from Cuba, young fellow super friendly and attentive he did an amazing job.
The place looks cool, they have a huge TV, a little nice pool table where the kids were having fun and a little VIP area in the back for more extensive and exclusive services. Loxy is a fabulous colorist and stylist! I was desperate for a hair fix and she opened early to come to my aid. I arrived at Trio with over-highlighted, frizzy curls. She took the time to discuss what I like about my hair and what I considered problematic. I told her my highlights now looked pure blond and I wanted more contrast while my roots were far too grown out. I also made it clear I didn't want to spend half my day in the salon. She gave me partial highlights and lowlights, toner, a trim and with her magic scissors took out a lot of the bulk I'd been carrying. Before starting she made sure to tell me what each step would cost so there were no surprises. I love my hair and got many compliments the rest of the day. My hair looks beautiful and feels healthy and silky. I highly recommend Trio and definitely recommend Loxy!

I have a mango sap burn that basically burned a hole in my chin and have never really had bad skin til recently from too much sun exposure and being a woman with that time of the month hormones etc. I called Helene on Sunday and left a message, and she promptly called back within a couple of hours and booked me for the following day. I didn't know what to expect, never having had a facial before.. She surpassed my expectations. I love how she uses whole organic products and the natural remedies she uses to help you on your healing journey. I will definitely be going back to see her. I googled facial businesses in Sarasota, and she is by far the most affordable, too. Some people in this town want $250 just to give you a consultation absolutely absurd. I surprised my husband with a couples massage while in town visiting. I explained some problem areas I had from a running injury. She was able to help relieve some of the pain I had. Just spent the day at Oddities Tattoos on Bee Ridge Road in Sarasota, Florida, with the better part of my family. We are from Michigan and have other tattoos, but these were outstanding! My wife had her tattoo completely redone with a few additions, my daughter, daughter-in-law, granddaughter and my self, got all new tattoos, seven tattoos in all! I called them based on Yelp reviews to come and do a simple job of replacing AI stainless hose for my faucet that had worn over time. I had ordered the hose online. Doing research, I called them and they came within 2 days. Rates were very reasonable, especially since they do 15-minute increments. These guys are great. They did the initial job in less time than expected, and were extremely thoughtful and communicative. Just had them back to check the lining because of a problem I thought might be related. (It's been about a year) Nothing wrong with the lining, and one of them solved a very simple plumbing problem while he was here -- unrelated to the lining job, but something plumbers hadn't picked up on.

When this business was open at Gulfgate it was my go to locksmit The tecnician-owner was very professional and performed his job to high standards. When the economy nosed down in 2019-2020 he decided it was time to retire . Unfortunately other unscrupulous "locksmiths" got a hold of the phone number and pretend to be the real deal. My advice to them is to be extra careful with those people. Remember you are giving the keys to your house to people with questionable morals. Always ask for ID and references.

I could not have asked for a better company to buy our upstairs carpet from. The owner George was so professional and kind. He showed up on time to measure our playroom, ordered the carpet and had it installed so quickly. The price was excellent and less than I had expected. The quality of padding and carpet are superb.
When George was not in the office to answer my questions, Mindy the office manager was was able to assist me and/or she would contact George immediately and call me right back. The installers showed up at the time they said they would and it only took them less than 2 days to finish the job. They cleaned up the scraps and even left us extra carpet.

In search of a reliable general contractor who could not only restore our home but also carry out some remodeling, we diligently collected multiple estimates. Throughout the entire process, we received invaluable guidance in the design and decision-making aspects. Their support was indispensable, considering the tremendous scope of the project, which involved a complete redesign of the kitchen and master bathroom, as well as electrical work, extensive flooring, trim installation, and interior/exterior painting. Very great experience with halls termite and pest. I noticed a swarm of termites flying In my lanai one night so I decided to call a couple of termite companies. After getting a few quotes, I found Matt with halls termite and pest through next door. Matt was the only one who did a full inspection in my attic to make sure there was no damage done prior to installing a bait systems The price was fair and he went above and beyond. He was also very knowledgeable. I will also be using them for my pest control. Highly recommend.

My cat had a horrible infection and wasn’t likely to survive but the staff and doctors there worked diligently and patiently to save her . I’m forever grateful . Great place with an amazing knowledgeable staff ❤️
Before I moved to this area from another state, my daughter, who is a Veterinarian, vetted every clinic & Vet in this area and this is the clinic she picked. I am elated to be at Bay Road. They are AAHA certified, so professional and so loving to my puppers. And I really love the doctors’ notes and labs sent to me after the visit.
Dr. Tudin is the only veterinarian that I trust (and I have used several). I have been bringing my pets to his office for over 30 years. It is approximately 30 minutes from my home, but worth the drive because Dr. Tudin and his office staff are kind, knowledgeable, compassionate, and trustworthy. Dr. Tudin only tests and prescribes medications that are necessary for the treatment of your pet. His front office staff have even gone above and beyond by making sure I could get a prescription dog food from a different veterinarians office closer to my home for convenience. I feel lucky to have a veterinarian I can trust in the area!

I am so happy with Alfonso's grooming of my Cairn Terrier, Miss Hilda. I adopted her at age 11 from a breeder. Living in a house, and walking on a leash didn't come naturally. She had been bullied by other dogs at the breeders so was too fearful to drop off at busy groomers.. Thankfully, one evening a friend and I read though Alfonso's reviews. We called. He answered and came to the rescue. It surely was no easy task given her love of dirt digging and rejection of anything resembling a brush. Given such a challenge, he could have muzzled and shaved her or just refused the job . Rather one hour later he and now unrecognizable Miss Hilda emerged from the van. I thought of that old movie,' My Fair Lady': Before and After

I am so happy we found Doggo Den! The owners and staff are all so helpful and loving towards the pups. We have a 5 month old cockapoo and they are treating her with such gentleness to get her used to the grooming process. So appreciated! Highly recommend!

Karri did an amazing Job with Ruby. Ruby is very anxious when visiting a groomer, sometimes place wouldn’t touch her due to her Anxious behavior.
Karri made sure Ruby felt comfortable before she started on her. We think it made all the Difference in the world. Ruby adapted to her right away and was able to groom her without any issues. I will be back and also bring our other furry baby to her as well.

Excellent experience for my 2 senior pups. Very happy with the groom, the service was great and the pricing is right on with other groomers I’ve used in the area. What I really like here is that my dogs aren’t being stressed out by a room full of other dogs waiting their turn. The appointment was right on time and everything went great. I will be back!

Took our toy poodle here for a full grooming today and was pleased with the whole experience. The one-on-one grooming and more personal environment (compared to a big box pet store, for example) clearly made a difference for my anxious poodle. They were quick *and* thorough, following my requests for the haircut perfectly after seeing a photo of my desired haircut.
Doggo usually huffs and puffs after a grooming to formally lodge his complaints, but *none* of that happened today. A win! Will absolutely bring our dog back here!
Sally grooms both my dogs. She does a fantastic job every time. She is in high demand and very busy; however, she’s also reasonably priced.
Kyle has been grooming our dogs for years! Kyle is the BEST - he does an absolute perfect job on our pug & for years he groomed our chocolate lab -until our lab passed away.Our dogs are always happy to see Kyle. Kyle couldn't be nicer nor more professional!
Take your cat or dog to D’Heroes on Tamiami Trail, Sarasota. I just picked up my dog (Rocky) and he looks like a movie star. He also received a ton of love there. Talk about great service, good feeling, simple place, affordable and awesome care. They speak English and Spanish too. What a great experience.

By far the best yoga studio I’ve been to. There are so many different classes to choose from for all different levels. My favorite is Yoga Sculpt. It provides me a great workout with fun music. I definitely recommend this place!
1st time doing hot yoga, 2nd time ever doing yoga... I can't wait to go back! Loved the atmosphere, Kelly was amazing and even though I wasn't 100% on the poses and stretches, I never felt out of place. Comfortable space - definitely recommend!!

Going to the Iyengar Sarasota yoga studio is never been a disappointment. I have always gained more for my practice, knowledge of yoga and my own self understanding of who I am after taking a class with them. If you have never taken a class with an Iyengar instructor/teacher try it at least once and then make your own assessment, it’s worth the treat for the experience. ( I am a Iyengar student/practitioner , so I have a great biases for the style)
I have found so much restoration and peace at Bhavana. I love the variety of offerings from yin to sound healing. My soul feels nourished and my body feels revitalized when I leave this studio. All of the teachers are inclusive in their language and give students a lot of freedom to explore, introspectively. I also appreciate the wide range of props available :) I'm a huge fan of the Tuesday evening yin class. I've noticed my sleep has gotten deeper and I've found a deeper sense of relaxation each time I attend. Thank you for holding space in such a beautiful way for your community! <3

it's hard for me to get into working out as I have social anxiety and gyms aren't my thing. I've found that pilates and yoga have helped me in easing myself into getting my body active. the dopamine high after taking classes at shack is insane. more specifically, i'd like to give a shoutout to Kalesta. She's an amazing instructor and all around great person with beautiful vibes. Uplifting and encouraging, while doing a great job at challenging everyone in the room. :)

Manta Fitness Sarasota is a great place to experience Pilates on the megaformer! Classes are fun and effective . Each instructor is very knowledgable, and classes are truly a total body workout. Put your smart watch on and track the calorie burn, activity level, and your heart rate!“ It work out” and you’ll feel great !
I had my first Pilates experience this morning with my two sisters. It was absolutely amazing. Gloria was my instructor and she was incredible. Very lovely voice and highly energetic! She was excellent at engaging with the class and keeping us motivated! What I also loved was how helpful our instructor was at keeping me and the others informed on how to better our form or what to correct, or a few tips and tricks to engage other muscle in the body.Overall, I loved the experience and I loved the class! Will absolutely recommend to anyone looking for a sign to try out Pilates!I am wishing Gloria well on her journey and I thank her for a spectacular experience this morning. I was blown away. I hope to continue coming back and having a wonderful time with every class.

Shea is incredible. Her body work including lymphatic massage feels heavenly and my body feels so much better and lighter afterwards. I have had pain relief after just one session even for problems that have plagued me for years. When she added in some hypnotherapy, I felt like I had an exorcism! I could feel my body starting to recovery immediately. I could not be happier with Shea Shulman.
This was probably the best massage I have ever had! I have chronic low back pain and sciatic flareups, and I was barely able to walk today. After the 90 minute deep tissue session I feel so much better!!! I’m walking without every step making me want to cry. Selena (I think that was her name) is a miracle worker!!

An eye opener to the, usually erroneous, concepts on our body physiology. One hour of exercises/education stretches changed the chronic back pain it was nagging me for weeks. My husband and I were visiting Sarasota and were hoping to book a last minute couple’s massage — and boy did we luck out. We stumbled upon Mind Body Works after a quick Google search, and could not be happier with our wonderful experience with Rosetta and Byron. I am nearly 8 months pregnant, and knowing that Rosetta was a doula prior really eased my mind about getting a prenatal massage. She was so amazing and the massage far exceeded my expectations! My husband was massaged by Byron and was also so very pleased. He was extremely informative and made my husband feel so comfortable and relaxed. We could not recommend them enough. Not to mention, they are just lovely people, their home is beautiful and they sent us off with homemade herbal tea. Don’t hesitate to book with them! We will absolutely be back next time we are in the area.

I've been seeing Dr. Frank off and on since I had plantar fasciitis in 2023. I am 60+ years old playing competitive pickleball so I have nagging injuries and issues at times. Unlike other places I have been, Dr. Frank is hands-on and gets right into the problem area. His comprehensive knowledge of the body is impressive and he knows where to apply the pressure, get the pain released and have me back at living fully once again.

Martha and I used to be neighbors; I was aware that she is a Chinese doctor but only recently used her services. Firstly, her offices are so impeccable and peaceful. Secondly, Martha studied with both city Chinese doctors and rural ones (Shaolin) so she can prescribe the best course of action for your needs. I am certain that had I seen a Western doctor for this particular ailment, I would have been prescribed surgery. With Martha, suction and acupuncture and herbs ... within minutes the pain in my arm / wrist was gone and stayed gone for more than 6 months. So grateful to know Martha and to have called her!
My allergies are gone! Can't say enough good things about Panyada. She is so thorough, caring, patient, kind and compassionate. And, on top of that, her office is beautiful and you feel a sense of calm as soon as you walk in the door.
I suffered so badly from allergies, I was convinced I had to move from Sarasota. But, after just my first visit to Panyada, no more allergies! It's like a miracle.
Next visit is for some recent lower back pain. There's no doubt she'll help me with that as well.

For 2 years I suffered from severe ulcerative colitis. For the first year I was placed on traditional western medications. The second year I was prescribed an additional infusion. This lasted another year with no significant improvement. I then made an appointment to see Dr. Liang. After about 20 minutes of discussing my condition I was face up on a table with approximately 30 needles in me. Dr. Liang immediately understood my condition and planned a course of treatment that included acupuncture and herbs. After 3 months I have had significant improvements. Without getting into too much detail, I am now sleeping through the night when I used to have to get up 6 - 8 times. Dr. Liang’s knowledge, personality and caring concern for his patients is amazing. This is also reflected in his staff. I have never been in a Dr’s office where the atmosphere is so caring and personable. I have already recommended Dr. Liang to my friends who collectively have a wide variety of issues. Thank you Dr. Liang both as my doctor and my friend.

After seeing numerous doctors, dermatologists and podiatrist for 15 years, Dr. Shao is the only doctor that finally and successfully cleared up my athletes foot fungus. It was chronic and the regular methods were not working and out of desperation I chose to try acupuncture along with Dr. Shao herbal recommendations and I’m so glad I did. In turn he also relieved the plantar fasciitis I was suffering with. Thank you Dr. Shao!
Dr. Cynthia Higgins performed an excellent evaluation of me for a medical marijuana card. The only issue I have is whether or not my previous physician (Adam Leroy M.D.) with Dolphin Medical in Bradenton has released me as his patient so Dr. Higgins can finish the processing to get my medical marijuna card.
Dr Hynes has treated me for lower back pain and for a knee issue (slightly torn Meniscus). My lower back pain is completely gone. Not only did she help with the pain, she also made many suggestions on how to ensure that it doesn't return. Proper stretching, etc. I was very happy with her treatment for my knee, no surgery required and now I am walking pain free well on the road to full recovery. Extremely positive experience.

I can only say thank you! I could barely walk or get off a chair due to back and sciatic pain. Dr. Zhao got me moving on the first visit. I can only speak for myself that he is a true professional and works magic. I have already referred friends that are going through pain.
My son recently completed several days of instruction and the final driving test with Suncoast. He found the instructor to be extremely professional and supportive, which boosted his confidence behind the wheel. Given that we spend most of our time abroad, my son only had the minimum hours required to obtain his license, making this experience all the more crucial. I highly recommend Suncoast for driving instruction.
