Our project involved moving walls, investigating structural and bearing walls, removing columns, a full kitchen remodel, interior and exterior painting, new flooring, doors, trim, baseboards, a new front door, and many upgrades throughout the home. One of the best parts of the experience was the design process at their showroom on Main Street in downtown Sarasota. Being able to see our project on a 3D screen and make changes as we went gave us confidence that everything would turn out exactly how we wanted it. Choosing cabinets, countertops, tile, wood plank flooring, and finishes in one place made the process incredibly convenient and stress-free.
Once construction started, communication was excellent. We received regular updates, timelines, and everyone who worked on the home was professional, respectful, and pleasant to work with. Even when we asked for extra changes, the response was always, “No problem, we’ll take care of it.”
The home was kept clean throughout the remodel, and we appreciated the thoughtful suggestions made along the way that improved other areas of the house we hadn’t even considered.

“We recently completed a major remodeling project with JLS Remodeling Services, and we couldn't be happier with the results. They transformed our home by adding a beautiful, luxurious full bathroom, creating a stunning TV feature wall with a vapor fireplace and a custom hand-painted wallpaper mural, opening multiple walls to create a more open and inviting layout, completely remodeling our bonus room with a statement oversized window, and building three new closets.

This was a complex renovation involving multiple trades and significant structural work. The oversized window required rebuilding an entire exterior wall, engineering plans, and tying new concrete into the existing foundation to ensure the home's structural integrity. JLS coordinated every part of the project smoothly, and the quality of their work was evident throughout.

The project took a little over six months, slightly longer than expected due to circumstances outside of JLS' control. We continued living in the house during the renovation, and the crew kept the project moving while doing everything they could to contain dust and minimize disruption. We really appreciated the care they took to protect the rest of our home.

“I am tardy writing this review as Castillo Marble & Granite fabricated & installed my granite kitchen counter tops over a year ago and they did an excellent job. I used to be in the stone fabrication/installation business so I know a good job when I see it. Castillo took great care to find slabs big enough to avoid seams and the measurements were perfect. They were prompt, efficient and kept it clean. There was one minor snafu that they addressed to my satisfaction. I just bought a new house and will be needing kitchen and bathroom tops and I know who I will be calling: Castillo Marble & Granite.“

Since then, we've had our master bath, jack and jill bathroom and pool bathroom remodeled by George and his crew in 2022. We've been very happy with Fantastic Kitchen by George for the renovations and highly recommend them for their high quality workmanship. George is easy to communicate with and provides good service for his customers.“

“Dave remodeled both my kitchen and main bath. Then he covered all my ugly tile floors with the newer LVP flooring. If I had another project, he is the first and maybe only one I would call. After 4 years and many remodeling jobs completed perfectly, I can no longer recommend Dave’s Granite, Dave & I signed a contract 10 months ago for work on my guest bathroom. This job is not yet complete. For months I have called and left text messages and I have received many promises that the job will soon be finished. But Dave has never shown up. This bath remodel was started in February 2024 and it is now December. To add insult to injury, the job before the bathroom is starting to fall apart. This is very much out of character for Dave, and it worries me. But the fact is, my job has not been completed and the kitchen needs a repair. And, why is my positive review from 2023 the last one to show up. Does Dave have a new Facebook page? Yes, I have been very patient but have given up. I will hire someone else to finish and will not recommend exact in the future.“

“We did a total remodel on our kitchen using Cabinet SRQ/Elite Woodwork for cabinet selection and installation. They were recommended to us by two other condominium owners in our neighborhood. We worked with Carol and Debbie on the kitchen design and cabinet selection. We met with them at least four times and they engaged with us so much that it felt like they were planning their own kitchen. They answered all our questions, gave suggestions, and were so helpful and enthusiastic. We seriously couldn’t have done it without them. In our opinion they are the shining stars of the business. When it came to the installation, the cabinets arrived on time and installation began the next day. The installation went smoothly. We did have one minor issue we requested be changed and they willingly made the change for us. They also accommodated us by allowing us to install the flooring before they put the kick plates on. We were very pleased with their professionalism and flexibility. We would use them again if the need arose and would highly recommend them.“
