“Everyone was professional and so kind and caring. They laid out A plan with pricing information and let me decide based on the information they gave me what The next step should be. One of the options was to take him to an ER vet so that he could spend the night there and get IV fluids Because they were closing at 8 o’clock and could not do it there. They called the ER vet and the price was astronomical. I asked them if I could take him home and then bring him back tomorrow to get the fluids at their place. We did that plan of action and it saved me almost $3000.“

“I had a great experience with Southgate Vet. This is my first winter living seasonally in FL with my dog and when she needed a sick visit, I called a couple of different offices. Lorrie was very pleasant and helpful to get me connected and schedule a next day appointment. Jorge was very thorough taking my dog’s medical history and clearly communicated next steps. My dog was seen by Dr. Casey, who has wonderful energy and clearly stated options and the treatment plan. Happy to be connected to a great office!“

“Walked in with my 5 month old puppy for the first time. All the girls in the front desk were great and very polite. Met the vet tech Angela and she explained everything in detail. Angela was very knowledgeable and answered all my questions. Dr. Reed was so patient with my puppy. My puppy was spoiled with peanut butter,cheese and water. This is the first time I've experienced this treatment at a vets office. If anyone is looking for a new veterinarian, this is the place. These people all do a great job.“

“I contacted this place due to a new sore found on our dogs leg and due to a cancelation they got us in that day. The front desk lady was awesome and very friendly! They took us back quickly, and the doctor came right into the room as soon as we got in there. The exam fee was great. The lowest I've seen in a while! The only reason we won't be back is because they do not take care credit. We do not have insurance for our animals because we use care credit. I really wish they did because this would have been our new vet home!!!“

“I can't say enough nice things about this practice. Dr. Brown and Dr. Browning are extremely knowledgeable, skilled, caring and compassionate. The techs and receptionists are equally attentive and kind. I have a senior dog that has suffered with a number of ailments. He has had eye issues, a back issue, dental issues, a heart murmer, digestive upset and a poisoning episode. The office offers emergency work-in appointments that are invaluable. I never feel rushed. The fees are comparable. I especially appreciate the holistic slant. My dog isn't the most cooperative, but the entire staff makes effort to make him feel comfortable. Although initially the next available appointment was 2 days away, office person Kat called me within a few hours of making the appointment to have me come in later today rather than wait for the original appointment due to the situation. “I have been dealing with constant eye infections in my English bulldog for over a year. I took her here and what an amazing experience! From the moment I walked in The receptionist was so warm and welcoming, and then the veterinary assistant came and sat right next to me talking to me about my dogs issues.
The veterinarian herself Ran a battery of tests on my dog’s eyes and once she came to a diagnosis showed me step-by-step on what to do and how to do it, there were several medication’s she prescribed. I have never been treated better by a staff!
Also, within 24 hours, my dog’s eyes were a night and day difference.
