I visit Christopher here. He's the best! My last cut from him is the greatest one I have ever received, seriously. Based on my style request, he asked if he could use a razor to try a new way, instead of strictly scissors, I said absolutely, and it was just what I needed. When I tell him what has not worked for me in the past, at other places, he listens and figures it out. I trust him completely and will be back. Also I like to buy product here - only the best brands that smell delicious, plus my money going to "small" biz instead of big biz you-know-who, that makes me happy. What a great company.

Shawn is hands down the best barber I’ve been to. He actually takes the time to care about your personal style instead of just rushing through a cut. He’ll give honest opinions on what would look good on you and what wouldn’t, and you can tell he genuinely wants you walking out looking your best.
He’s also super easy-going, easy to talk to, and just fun to be around, which honestly makes the whole experience better and leads to consistently great haircuts. The vibe in the shop is clean and relaxed, plenty of TVs, good music playing, and an all-around great atmosphere.

Curly hair girls - Highly recommend! It's so hard finding someone who can cut curly hair. I have gone to Vanessa a few times now and she is amazing! She gives appropriate feedback and is very professional. I love the color and cut she did for me. She also does a great blow out! She has 1 chair so you're not surrounded by other stylists and clients. It is a very calming, pleasant experience. Responds quick on inquiries. Vanessa will not disappoint!

I had such a great experience there just passing through town from Alaska and the man who did my nails is so sweet. I did not catch his name, but I could tell everybody loved him and he is a great at his job very friendly and funny and also the woman redid my toenail polish who works there and she is amazing as well!!! I go every 2 weeks because I am a groomer and work with a lot of water and she always accommodates my busy and always changing schedule. Her artistic flare for new and creative styles is what I love most. I get compliments on my nails everywhere I go and almost every day! Amazing service. I can appreciate the patience it took while my 2 year okd threw a huge tantrum and i was still able to get my service. We showed up with a party of 4 , 10 mins before they closed at 5pm. They had no problem staying later, asked us for 15 mins and was able to provide excellence service. We left 2 hours after their closing time. You dont find that often. Will continue to come here.

Today I treated myself to an 80 minute dermaplane facial. It was my first time at this day spa and I definitely will be going back! I was greeted very cordially by the receptionist and quickly offered tea or water. A few minutes later, Hope, my esthetician came to the waiting area and greeted me. She took me back to her treatment room, asked me the questions that estheticians ask their clients, ie., do you have any particular skin issues, what skin products do you currently use and what is your goal today. This is the second time I have had American Leak Detection at my house to find an irrigation leak. I'm happy to say that they are two for two. This one was a little more challenging because the flow rate was not great, but they still found it, with a little bit of helium! We found the breached PVC 90° elbow about 2 1/2 feet deep exactly where they placed their marker.

I'm in the process of doing major exterior renovations to my home. Boxing in the eaves for weather protection and aesthetics, replacing/removing damaged fascia, painting, replacing a storm door and repairing around the window frames. Gary has the patience of a saint. He explains the breakdown of the cost and materials involved to do the project. He shows up and explains the process when I get overwhelmed and am ready to give up. Today Francisco and Jorge did the exterior repair work that was the 2nd stage of our termite damage treatment. Once he found them, successfully closed them up, placed and baited traps and caught the culprit. No more rats. He did what several other exterminators couldn't do. I will definitely use Hydrex again.
Our guys generally does a good job. He cleans cobwebs and sprays for bugs. He also checks for gophers as we have the gopher service. He also checks rat traps that he has put out for us.
I have used BPC pest control for the last 25 years and all of my tentings. (Coastal living necessity.ugh) Termite fumigation is not fun. It’s not Disneyland. It creates work, costs money and takes up time. I look for the pest control company that impacts these the least and still gets rid of the pests. Period. Big ads on Yelp, or on tv all cost money. That cost is passed on to the customer. BPC is a local owned business who is helpful, has low prices, gets in, gets out and gets the job done. I’ve never had or heard of anyone I’ve referred to them, ever having a problem. Ever.
Ventura Bee Rescue is absolutely outstanding! Last year when I moved to Ventura, I was understandably very stressed when I noticed I had an active beehive in the roof eaves of my new home. I had no idea how long it had been there and the bees were getting aggressive. I was afraid my dog and grandkids were going to get stung, but didn't want to kill the bees. I also was tight on funds since I just moved so affordability was key!

My daughter is 4 years old and had such a great experience having 3 teeth extracted. Two mesiodens, and a baby tooth that was obstructing the path of her permanent teeth. She was very afraid of the dentist initially. But after the kindness of the staff and Dr Sunny she started to feel more comfortable. With the help of conscious sedation, nitrous and the care and patience that Dr Sunny took during the surgery she was able to walk out without having to be fully sedated, no trauma or even a tear. I as a mother who has worked in dentistry many years was so very grateful for the care Dr Sunny gives to his patients.

My old dentist at this location, Dr Callaghan, retired and passed his practice on to Dr Belaya. I went to see her for a check up and cleaning, and some molar pain. It was easy to schedule an appointment and I had a very short wait. Dr Belaya was gentle, efficient, and obviously cared very much about me and my teeth. X-rays revealed a crack in my painful tooth and she said I’d need a crown and possibly a root canal. She advised getting a temporary crown, and seeing if that worked before committing to a root canal. Again, easy to schedule, and only a brief wait. I went in for the crown, and it went very well. Dr. Belaya had told me to expect about an hour and a half for the procedure, but it was done in just over an hour. Dr Belaya was again, very gentle, efficient, obviously knew what she was doing, and made sure I understood everything every step of the way. I have had issues in the past with insufficient novocaine and told her this. She gave me extra, and the entire procedure was totally pain free (other than the initial novocaine prick). As she suspected, a crown took care of my problem and no root canal was necessary. Dr Belaya is a fantastic, caring dentist and I highly recommend her. In fact, I can’t think of any way any dentist could be better!

Dr. Sones and his team are amazing. I have always had issues with the teeth and have always felt like a burden to other Dentist. I was referred here by a family member and I’m so grateful that I was. Dr. Sones is easy to talk to, kind and professional and most importantly always willing to help. The ladies in the office are incredibly kind, beyond helpful and a pleasure to work with as well. Dr. Matt Leeonard is very knowledgeable and physically skilled. His staff is polite and efficient. He explained in detail the x-rays of my back and how decompression treatment could help eliminate the painful symptoms of my scoliosis. At the end of the first decompression session, I notice a definite improvement. I recommend Coastal Chiropractic to others.

Dr. Algee at De-Stress chiropractic is the best chiropractor I've ever gone to! He is thoughtful, and extremely skilled, and won't give up until he's relieved your discomfort. I've gone to other chiropractors who refused to lay hands on me during our first appointment, or only tried one or two adjustments and argued with me when I complained that I was still in discomfort. In contrast, Dr. Algee had me walking out of his office normally on my very first appointment after being in extreme pain when I walked in -- and he tried multiple adjustments, testing how I was feeling and walking after each one. Dr. Algee is great at what he does and you can feel confident you're in good hands here.

Dr Watson has been our vet for the last 40 years. She is kind, caring and sensitive to not only pets but also to the owners. Her way of euthanasia is amazing and gentle to all in a very emotional situation. i can't recommend her enough.

The owner is the most caring person who works really hard! I love a young entrepreneur working mobile and has a shop! She is also earning a degree to take care of animals. Tailor has advanced knowledge of animal behavior, overall well being, and anatomy and was able to provide TLC to my dog after another local groomer did not.
Donna is the only groomer I have consistently taken my maltipoo too! She does an amazing job and devotes her energy to one dog at a time. I will never go anywhere else!

I hesitantly attended my first session of Somatic Healing Therapy with Jessy Raspillar. It was a birthday gift and I did not know what to expect. My experience was spiritually enhancing and emotionally healing. From the moment I entered the room, I felt at peace. By the time the session ended, I knew I wanted to return. I scheduled my second session for the following week. Jessy has the gift of guiding your connection with your higher self and loving essence. What do you need to know about The Aerial Studio? The folks are friendly pros when it comes to making sure your child can perform, whether it be in the studio itself or guiding you in how to navigate your own home experience. They offer a variety of classes, and even though their parkour program was not the right fit for us, their silks program has been a match. The coaches and teachers are all amazing in working with kids and adults of all ages. The Aerial Studio recently moved to a bigger space which is awesome. It's so awesome that it's become so popular that classes fill up superfast. Would love to see more classes with more options. Tonote, these criticisms are meant to be positive. The Aerial Studio does deserve all 5 Stars of this Review. Is there room to improve? Yes. Is TAS providing "The Greatest Show in Ventura County (the shows are incredible displays of how talented their students are!) ? Absolutely.

Templepilates is a great clean Studio. Small groups and always interesting and never a dull class. Teacher Roger is such a gem. All teachers are great.
Owner and principal instructor Susan Wileman has a deep knowledge of not only Pilates but the Restorative Exercise/Nutritious Movement specialty area as well (founded by author Katy Bowman). Susan communicates all her topics well, although I had to make a concerted effort in the early weeks to really sustain attention to what she was saying, not drift into a distracted state of mind. In general the small classes (3 - 6 participants) work well for me but occasionally I opt for a private session, especially to re-orient to Pilates after I've been away from it for a medical reason or a prolonged out of town trip. I did not think I would stick with Pilates long when I first started, but it grew on me. Now I feel privileged to be able to attend sessions, making progress at my own pace. I only landed at Restore Pilates because of a personal recommendation by a bodywork specialist I'd known for years; apparently she trained with Susan in the Restorative Exercise realm so she recommends Re-Store Pilates as a studio that honors and teaches alignment fundamentals in ways not common in a chain-owned/operated venues. I am grateful Susan was resourceful in sustaining her business despite prolonged Covid-era restrictions for service-sector businesses. Her long-time clientele rebounded with amazing commitment to continue with Pilates and numerous new clients are drawn to Re-Store Pilates year round.

I had a great experience here! The massage was very professional, and the deep tissue massage was excellent with just the right amount of pressure. I also tried the hot stone treatment and detox therapy, which were very relaxing and refreshing. Dr. Stacy Hicks has truly changed my health and life. I’ve suffer with Ehlers Danlos Syndrome most of my life and all comorbidities that go along with it. I’ve had twelve surgeries (many joint replacements), and have seen multiple rheumatologists, GI specialists, pain specialists, and every other doctor you can imagine without relief. Western medicine (besides surgery) had really failed me..The two conditions Dr Hicks treated me for are whole body chronic pain (especially cervical and headaches), and GI issues including but not limited to SIBO. Between Accupuncture, herbs, and her prescribed lab testing, my pain is so much more in control, and my ten year struggle with GI issues now coming to an end. I was an RN, so have worked with many doctors, but I can only imagine all that Dr Hicks has studied. Her knowledge and treatments far outweigh the usual western medicine ways. I didnt experience the five minute rushed appointment and out the door with multiple prescriptions in my hand. She explained everything thoroughly regarding underlying health issues and her plan to treat them. I really can’t express how grateful I am to have met Dr Hicks, not only has she changed my life, she’s become a friend for life. And thank you to Jeremy also, you are always there for any needs that I have, I always know my needs will be communicated and taken care of. Dr Splies is a truly gifted practitioner with a calm and relaxing office in Ventura. I went to see her for some female issues and she was able to help me out with that. She also has a full compliment of herbs to help you out as well, if you are interested in that part of the treatment. On top of that she’s also got an amazing bedside manner which really matters.

I was super skeptical about getting Acupuncture. I normally get chiropractic with a very mixed results over the years from dozens for chiropractors . Came here bc it was covered by my insurance. The guy that did my Acupuncture Jonathan Bill from right off the bat was an extremely nice guy and explain to me how Acupuncture works and ask me what my symptoms are the first time I went I felt an immediate change and every time I went, I got better. Completely changed my mind on Acupuncture and I will do it over chiropractic now.
I had such an amazing experience with Krystal today! I came in with notable pain today, after a pretty traumatizing injury 5 weeks ago, and I am already feeling so much relief after one treatment! Krystal took a thorough subjective including nutritional and emotional health intake which I appreciated, and her acupuncture treatment was very effective and also I loved the essential oils and other techniques to down regulate the nervous system. I was nervous for my first acu treatment but it went so great!! Thank you Krystal!!
I passed my behind the wheel test thanks to my instructor Josh! He is super cool and so patient. He definitely helped me build my confidence but overall made sure I was comfortable throughout each session. The only issue was there was some rescheduling with my instructor but I learned a lot of useful tips and techniques. Overall, both my instructor and Dollar Driving School were excellent! I would recommend
