“I wanted to wait a few days before I posted about my experience with Corrie. I had an event coming up and wanted to find someone quick to do lash extensions for me. What was more important was also someone who seemed to care about keeping my lashes healthy as well. So of course I went to Yelp to search out someone and there was Corrie! I sent her a message on Yelp and she responded within an hour or so. She answered all of my probing questions with no signs of annoyance! That's a big plus! So I booked with her. Let's go over the quick summary:Location: Ventura- in a small shopping center inside Wax Me! salonParking: ample Price: very affordable; and she even does permanent makeup!Expertise: this girl is certified and displays all of her certification, which I love! Ain't nobody got no time for going to YouTube trained folks who will snatch all your lashes and eyebrows out! Pass on that!!! Do your research people!!!!Hygiene: very cleanAmbience: very relaxing music, comfortable pillows for under your knees when lying flatTime: took a little over 2 hrs but that's because I asked her to make a few adjustmentsPersonality: very sweet and does not talk too much when she's doing your lashes (my preference!)All in all, she is legit! I'm actually surprised she has less than 20 reviews! I'm a very tough critic so I'm quite impressed. She's very knowledgeable and takes her time to give you good aftercare instructions. Only downside is she is not open on Fridays and Saturdays so that's a bummer. Otherwise, if you're looking to try someone new in the Ventura area, Corrie is the person to try!“

“I got to know Miriam through following her on social media! After we connected on there I felt immediately drawn to her warm personality. When I started struggling with my skin I knew right away I was going to reach out to her, not only is she an extremely sweet and giving person; she has an amazing reputation and years of experience as an esthetician. I felt confident she would be able to help me after seeing before and afters of her clients as well as her reviews. I have been struggling with dermatitis off and on for over a year and after nothing was working to improve my issue permanently including seeing the doctor I decided to go see Miriam. She responded promptly and asked me so many questions to get to the bottom of what could be causing my issue. During the treatment she shared so much valuable knowledge about my issue and gave me tips to help. It was the first time I felt heard in a year. She customized the treatment to my current needs and recommended products for me to use at home. What I really loved was that she took the time to explain the science behind why she was recommending those products. My skin responded immediately and is already looking better after one facial! I booked my next two facials right away and can't wait to implement all the tips she gave me.
