“I wanted to wait a few days before I posted about my experience with Corrie. I had an event coming up and wanted to find someone quick to do lash extensions for me. What was more important was also someone who seemed to care about keeping my lashes healthy as well. So of course I went to Yelp to search out someone and there was Corrie! I sent her a message on Yelp and she responded within an hour or so. She answered all of my probing questions with no signs of annoyance! That's a big plus! So I booked with her. Let's go over the quick summary:Location: Ventura- in a small shopping center inside Wax Me! salonParking: ample Price: very affordable; and she even does permanent makeup!Expertise: this girl is certified and displays all of her certification, which I love! Ain't nobody got no time for going to YouTube trained folks who will snatch all your lashes and eyebrows out! Pass on that!!! Do your research people!!!!Hygiene: very cleanAmbience: very relaxing music, comfortable pillows for under your knees when lying flatTime: took a little over 2 hrs but that's because I asked her to make a few adjustmentsPersonality: very sweet and does not talk too much when she's doing your lashes (my preference!)All in all, she is legit! I'm actually surprised she has less than 20 reviews! I'm a very tough critic so I'm quite impressed. She's very knowledgeable and takes her time to give you good aftercare instructions. Only downside is she is not open on Fridays and Saturdays so that's a bummer. Otherwise, if you're looking to try someone new in the Ventura area, Corrie is the person to try!“

“This was much more of an experience than a typical hair appointment. In addition to being so talented, Billy is incredibly kind and thoughtful. He makes sure you feel seen and heard while he co-creates the look of your dreams. Not knowing what to expect, I was a little bit apprehensive since I actually wanted to keep my style and color very similar to what I currently had to still match my existing brand photos. He magically managed to do that while still creating something extra to make me feel spectacular. What a treat and top notch experience - thanks Billy!“

“I brought my mom in (who is disabled) for highlights/base color and a hair cut. We found a fist-sized knot in her hair that her caregivers had been apparently ignoring. October spent HOURS meticulously and gently combing it out, and was so sweet and patient with my mom the entire process. She and Gemma were so kind and helpful during my mom's entire appointment, and October did a fantastic job on my mom's hair. My mom loves her hair and repeatedly said she can't wait to go back. They are the best! Definitely recommend. If I didn't live two hours away myself I would love to go there, too.“

“I made a last minute appointment while I was visiting family in Ventura county. I have very fine, very straight hair that is difficult to cut and color (shows every single cut, and highlights can look streaky and unnatural if not done with care). It had been about 6 months since my last cut & color. Alice did an amazing job with my difficult texture and corrected a previously botched color job done at another salon. She was very meticulous in applying my highlights (full head with a very fine weave of 2 colors), and managed to cut my thin hair in such a way as to actually create a thick, textured bob. She listened when I said I would not be blow-drying or curling my hair (new mom, no time), and gave me a cut that works (so many stylists will say "sure, no problem" then give you a cut that doesn't look good unless you spend half a hour curling and styling your hair--not Alice--I can literally scrunch and go). I have spent more than double for these services in the Bay Area at super trendy salons, and have not been nearly as pleased with the outcome. Great find, and will be back!“
