After reading so many good comments, I decided to call G/k & Sons Plumbing instead of one of the big high-priced companies, and I am very glad I did. They were able to respond very quickly and arrived at my home within a short time of my call, which was a huge relief because I needed help with a serious plumbing issue right away. When Manuel arrived, I explained the problem and he got started immediately. He also took time to clearly walk me through what he believed was causing the drain problem, how he planned to troubleshoot it, what tools he would use, and what the estimated cost would be. I really appreciated how open and professional he was from the start, because it made the whole service call much less stressful. The problem turned out to be a stubborn sewer line blockage on the lower level, and the cleanout access in the utility area was hidden under flooring, which made the job more difficult than expected. Even so, Manuel stayed focused and kept working through each step. He used electronic locating equipment to find the access point, then moved on to the next phase of the repair with a lot of skill and patience. He explained that he had located the clog and would use hydro jetting to try to clear the line properly. Because of the way the drain line and Y-connectors were set up, reaching the blockage from the exterior cleanout was not easy, but he stayed persistent the entire time. At one point I even wondered if it could be done, but he remained confident and professional. It became obvious that he had strong experience with drain cleaning, sewer line diagnostics, and tough plumbing repairs. He successfully cleared the blockage and restored everything to proper working order without ever showing frustration. He spent several hours at my home and worked hard the whole time. He also scheduled a follow-up visit to install a backwater valve to help prevent future sewage backup issues, which gave me added peace of mind. That extra attention showed me he was not just fixing the immediate problem, but also helping protect the plumbing system going forward. Overall, I am very happy with the workmanship, fast response, communication, and dedication. The service was professional from beginning to end, and the pricing felt much more reasonable than larger companies. I would absolutely use them again for any drain, sewer, or general plumbing work, and I would gladly recommend them to anyone needing an honest and skilled plumber.

Have gotten a good few simple things done over the last couple years, but recently had a very complicated job on a pair of wool flannel pants. Needed them shortened, cuffed, new rub guard, and tapered around the thigh while maintaining the centered pleat. They knocked it out in under a week and everything was dead perfect. Will be continuing to go here with whatever I need, highly recommend!
I took a suit jacket in to get the sleeve length adjusted. They did it in about a week 's time and less than anyone else in the area. I'll use them if something needs tailoring in the future ?.

I recently had SC Window Tinting install a full-body wrap and window tint on my car, and I could not be more impressed with the finished product. This is a pretty unique car, and I’m extremely particular about who I trust to work on it. I met the owner, who is a genuinely great guy, and at drop-off I also met both installers, Alberto and James. Awesome dudes. They took the time to walk me through the preparation and installation process, answered every question I had, and never made me feel rushed. Their attention to detail was obvious from the beginning and really shows in the final result.
The wrap and tint look incredible. Everything is clean, precise, and professionally finished. You can tell they take a lot of pride in their work and treat the vehicle like it is their own.

This was my first time here. Needed a new barber because I just moved here. This place seems to have a great group of barbers. When you arrive you need to go up the stairs where the beauty shop is. I was a walk in and got seen almost instantly.
Joe is a truly talented barber. He does an excellent job on my son’s hair every single time, so much so that my son refuses to go anywhere else. His shop is always inviting and comfortable, and he even offers to put on whatever we want to watch on TV. On top of that, he’s friendly, easy to talk to, and makes every visit a great experience. Angela is the best at cutting men's, women's and children's hair. My son has gone to her several times and always comes back with his hair looking amazing. We all love how well his hair looks that his girlfriend booked an appointment for her hair today (which turned out beautiful as well). While we were there, my daughter connected with Angela and asked her to cut her hair too. My daughter has been reluctant to have anyone cut her hair in the past, so she had never had a hair cut before. Angela did a great job and made her feel so special and pampered. Been coming here for years. They are tucked away in a strip mall on Canyon road so you probably wouldn't notice them just driving by. Depending on the time of day the wait isn't very long. They almost always have 3 ladies working. I like that they trim edges with a straight razor and trim eye brows as well.

Super nice ladies!! The owner makes conversation with everyone and always does a great job with recommending new nail ideas. I had to get my acrylics removed and usually it’s painful but they used a remover, which is the first nail place in awhile that does it the proper way. They are also really clean which I love.

We searched high and low to find a place with good reviews and glad we chose to try Fancy nails by the chick fil a/jiffy lube in south Hill. The location doesn't seem glamorous, but it was warm, welcoming, and relaxing inside, with super friendly and attentive employees. For the reasonable prices, there was great attention to detail without ever feeling rushed or like just another customer. They are a very popular location, but were thanking us for coming to get our nails done. We called same day for two Mani Pedi apts and they said yes no problem. There was no wait when they had a lovely YouTube video on a big screen while we were there. Our gel nails are still looking fabulous a week and a half later and we've already booked our next appointment online. Photo is 11 days after gel manicure with heavy use and lots of dishes washed- no chipping yet!

Shantel did an AMAZING job on my lashes. I got a hybrid set and I legitimately cannot feel them on my eyes. I’ve always had sensitive eyes and lash extensions have felt heavy to me in the past. But she did such a good job that they truly feel natural and like they don’t weigh my eyes down at all. She’s also super sweet and just let me zone out for most of my appointment. Which I genuinely appreciate :)

She explained that I should not comb these lashes from the base but midway. However, while they look nice I think I prefer Classic since it looks more natural. Also, less length at the end of the lashes personally. Still, love them and I look much better with them on lol!

Wow! What a great job Jimmy did for us. He went the extra mile to get the job done and thoroughly completed it. He was on time and made sure I was aware of the cost involved in digging up the lids to the septic tank which was underneath the house (not an easy task to do and find). Not only did he find the lids which two other companies weren’t successful at or willing to do. Jimmy could have just emptied out one tank and be done. He went underneath the house and found the second lid and pumped out the rest of the tank which was full. I can’t thank Jimmy enough for the job he did and the professionalism he displayed to fully complete the job at hand. Not an easy task at all. Thank you!

After reading so many good comments, I decided to call G/k & Sons Plumbing instead of one of the big high-priced companies, and I am very glad I did. They were able to respond very quickly and arrived at my home within a short time of my call, which was a huge relief because I needed help with a serious plumbing issue right away. When Manuel arrived, I explained the problem and he got started immediately. He also took time to clearly walk me through what he believed was causing the drain problem, how he planned to troubleshoot it, what tools he would use, and what the estimated cost would be. I really appreciated how open and professional he was from the start, because it made the whole service call much less stressful. The problem turned out to be a stubborn sewer line blockage on the lower level, and the cleanout access in the utility area was hidden under flooring, which made the job more difficult than expected. Even so, Manuel stayed focused and kept working through each step. He used electronic locating equipment to find the access point, then moved on to the next phase of the repair with a lot of skill and patience. He explained that he had located the clog and would use hydro jetting to try to clear the line properly. Because of the way the drain line and Y-connectors were set up, reaching the blockage from the exterior cleanout was not easy, but he stayed persistent the entire time. At one point I even wondered if it could be done, but he remained confident and professional. It became obvious that he had strong experience with drain cleaning, sewer line diagnostics, and tough plumbing repairs. He successfully cleared the blockage and restored everything to proper working order without ever showing frustration. He spent several hours at my home and worked hard the whole time. He also scheduled a follow-up visit to install a backwater valve to help prevent future sewage backup issues, which gave me added peace of mind. That extra attention showed me he was not just fixing the immediate problem, but also helping protect the plumbing system going forward. Overall, I am very happy with the workmanship, fast response, communication, and dedication. The service was professional from beginning to end, and the pricing felt much more reasonable than larger companies. I would absolutely use them again for any drain, sewer, or general plumbing work, and I would gladly recommend them to anyone needing an honest and skilled plumber.

While doing roof work we discovered old knob and tube wiring was still active not only in the attic space, but in the whole house! Reed took care of rewiring the whole house, deactivated the knob and tube. We have plaster walls in most of the house, so I know it was not an easy task but they got it done with minimal damage.

I had a "small project" to repair some dry rot around some window trim. I got an estimate from Greg. They were able to start work quickly. The project shifted to replacing osb with plywood, new vapor barrier, new siding, trim, and paint. It was more extensive, but they did exactly what was needed to ensure the side of the house was sealed up tighter than it was before. They worked until after dark and finished the project within two weeks. Friendly, conscientious, responsive, and skilled. I got exactly what I paid for (and probably more). I highly recommend this company. Add them to your list of potential contractors when getting estimates. I think you'll be impressed.
We worked with Chumley to improve the foundation under an addition to our house, and we had a great experience from start to finish. We got multiple bids for the project, and Chumley’s was by far the most thorough. Jackson even included a video with the bid walking through everything we had discussed in detail, along with different options and considerations. It gave us a lot of confidence that we understood the scope of work and our choices before moving forward.

We have worked with Fine Design for two different projects now. First was our kitchen and bathroom remodel last year, which turned out beautiful. Their contractors are professional and friendly and do QUALITY work! Best, they guarantee the work for a year so any little thing that needed tweaking they were prompt to get it fixed. The second project is finishing up now which was a rebuild of our staircase and new carpet throughout most of the house. We have a funky staircase and Clayton and John have been meticulously cutting and installing to ensure it is perfect. Vlad, the flooring contractor, is FAST and friendly, as well as the painting team, Sean and Randy. A+

Had Damien & Nelson out to start rodent control after we've observed rats in the yard in daylight hours in the last week or two. We've lived at our house for 5 years and never seen a rat until now. Damian was very patient and very thorough in explaining their treatment process, safeguards to ensure the poison only impacts the rats and not other animals in the environment like squirrels or animals that might feed on rats (owls, raptors, cats, coyotes). My wife was initially very hesitant about using poison because of concern for other wildlife, but felt much better after discussing with Damian. We've only just started service, but I feel very confident the issue will be under control in a few months. I used Rambo & Damien before to resolve a cockroach issue at a rental property and they were very thorough then and fully resolved the issue. I heartily recommend Rambo to anyone needing pest control service!

I have been a customer of Modern Pest Control's for about 6 years and have been consistently pleased with their service. I really appreciate that as a woman homeowner they never talk down to me, ask to see the husband or act in an condescending way, iykyk! A friend of mine recommended them and turns out she went to high school with the owner! It's great knowing that this company is so locally owned that we know the same people. Something else that stands out about them is that they don't go door to door trying to sell contracts to the whole neighborhood, we can stop and start service any time without penalties.

The redo of our backyard involved Hardscape, sprinklers and new sod grass. The goal was to increase our patio areas and improve the overall look and functionality of our yard. This project took about 6 weeks. Jesse was really good keeping us informed of progress, choices, and suggestions as the project unfolded. His guys work hard in all weather conditions. The quality of the work is excellent and they strive to make sure your completely satisfied. The materials we chose for hardscape were Allan Block (Canadian Company) for vertical retaining walls, Artistic Pavers for patio surfaces. The Lighting I chose was by DEKOR Lighting. We're very happy withe the results and I highly recommend JAC Landscaping. Here's the before and after pictures.
John and the team did an amazing job of clearing a large stump, filling the area, and landscaping the area. He was very communicative and fair and made some great recommendations.
Used New Dimensions to rip out the five old crappy varieties of grass that came with the house. They then installed a paver patio, added brick edging, put in 4 inches of top soil, and laid sod to replace the old grass along with adding new sprinkler heads to fully cover the new grass. They were very meticulous in the design and implementation, always insuring everything was measured and level. Their workers are very hard workers, respectful, and cleaned up every day. They are a class act and a pleasure to work with; all for a fair price. I would highly recommend New Dimensions for any landscaping project regardless of the scope of work.

Joaquin and crew removed the upper parts of the large dead maple that was hanging over the powerlines and left the habitat snag I requested. They did a great job at a reasonable cost, all without causing siginifacant impacts to the fruit trees that were directly under the maple. I will contact them again for future work.
Joe and his team are nothing short of amazing. During the recent bomb cyclone, we had a tree fall on a build we are doing and he came right out to assess it. we wound up taking out 3 trees in total around the lot,all close to the house. These falls were perfect, not a scratch. Avoided power boxes, 2 houses, a lawn tractor and other trees. I am amazed. and recommend them highly!

We just did vaccine/rabies shots for her after a quick exam and the actual shot hppened in less than 2 mins after the peanut butter destraction was placed (they had other treats on hand but Embers favorite is peanut butter). Great quick friendly expierience, definetly reccomend (even if your dog doesnt like other dogs, like mine)

I called to schedule my girls for a much needed grooming, left a voicemail, and got a call back the next day. I was able to schedule the girls within two weeks, which was perfect for me.
A few days before the appointment I received both a text and email reminder, which was very helpful. The day of the grooming, I met Dee, she is very pleasant and welcoming. I dropped the girls off, and Dee said it would be 3-4 hours to finish them both, and she was closer to the 3 hour mark. The girls seemed even happier than their previous grooming appointments. They each got cute bandanas, smell great, and the grooming is impeccable. I am very pleased with how well they both turned out.
We've had our pup go to Daisy's on numerous occasions and the staff have been great with us humans and our dog. The overall service we love along with the freshness the dog comes home with. Oh, I can't forget the stylish bandana!
Staff is great. Deshed my shiba amazingly. Way better than PetSmart. You can really see the results in our dog, especially the teeth brushing as well. You def get your money's worth from this place.

I’m so used to having to choose one or the other- either suffering through a therapeutic massage or selecting a relaxing one, but she was able to pull off both in the same session!

I have been struggling to find a massage spa that would be able to help me target my muscle tightness, hip tightness, and lower back pain. Adriana listened and provided the perfect amount pressure and specialized attention to my “problem areas.” She’s clearly very knowledgeable, and it helped how she explained what muscles were giving me grief. She even talked to me about stretches that I can do in my own time, to help. With all respect to other big name massage/spa businesses (e.g. Hand and Stone), Meridian beats them out bar none. The outside is unassuming, but inside, it’s very cozy, and the people are so friendly. I’ll definitely be coming back!
I've struggled with leg cramps and night time spasms that keep me up every night. I have seen many, many massage therapists to try and get relief and most of the time they don't listen, they aren't knowledgeable enough or they are not capable of the work needed. I've been seeing Marcela once a week for the last month and I have had progressing relief from the first massage to the most recent. She listens and is obviously very knowledgeable in her profession. I recommend her highly for therapeutic work.
Fantastic Chinese traditional massage that is relaxing, but also incorporates some reflexology/ stretching to leave you feeling even better than normal massages! Just let them know if you have motion limitations. Affordable and will definitely be coming back! ?
Just had an amazing 90 minute massage with Angela. She has a tool she uses...I wish I could describe it...but what I feel is heat. Almost feels like a hot rock massage. What it does for her is enables her to give an even better massage because it relaxes your muscles. What it did for me was to get a deep tissue massage that didn't hurt as much as normal. I would HIGHLY recommend Angela for your next massage!!
I have been receiving massages from Heather for a little over 7 years. She does an amazing job tailoring the massage to exactly what your body needs. After every session, my body feels relaxed and rejuvenated. Heather is also a fun and enjoyable person to talk to, making every appointment a great experience. I would like to share my physical therapy rehabilitation at Olympic Sports ans Spine therapy in South Hill. I was referred there by my surgeon after breaking both of my ankles. To be honest, I did not want to go there at first, I thought why do I need this, I will just walk it off on my own. But in the end I didn't want the appointments to be over. All the therapists that I met there are very professional and attentive, all the employees are very friendly and caring. The atmosphere is very amazing and promotes healing. I think that this place is this way because of the manager, Niko Manetti! I highly recommend this place to everyone who is healing after an injury. I broke my leg before and did not have a rehabilitation to help me. It was very painful and took a long time to go back to normal. This time, due to the competent therapists, Niko and Grant, I didn't even notice how I started walking without pain. I was supported at all stages of rehabilitation, all my questions were answered and concerns were addressed. Do not disregard the recommendations of doctors! Physical Therapy — that’s what really helps! Again, highly recommend and thank you for making me feel like part of your family! Inna
East Main location in Puyallup. Have nothing but praise for everyone at this location. Therapists are kind, caring and take time to listen to you. Therapy is efficient and tailored to individual needs. Office staff always greeted me with a smile and went above and beyond to be helpful.
