I would love to shout from all the mountain tops how much I love the classes that Carlo teaches. I started doing hot yoga about 8 years ago and have practiced all over the world. When I am in town I always attend one of his classes on Saturday morning and he is the only teacher that I take 26/2 from anymore. 26/2 is 90 minutes in a hot room, it is 26 postures and 2 breathing exercises. It is physically and mentally challenging, but your mind and body will thank you for doing it. Carlo talks to us the whole time, he is funny, and witty and he absolutely knows his stuff. I wish I knew the name of the lady teaching yin tonight and the very nice couple after class that approached me. While I had a smile on my face, it was a rough evening for me. You three smiled back at me with so much genuine care I could feel your authenticity. The lovely instructor modified moves for me after noticing my struggles in a very graceful and compassionate way. A friend and I went to Hot Yoga here and had a good experience. They do not have a free class free option like many places. The class is $20, but as a first timer, the $20 get you 2 weeks of unlimited classes which is great if you live in the area. Mats and towels are available to rent - $5 and $3 respectively, there is a water bottle fountain, 2 yoga studios and a restroom. There aren't any lockers, but there are open cubby holes to leave your belongings in while you attend class. The staff is friendly and at the end of session, they give out cool wet refreshing towels to help bring you back to life. Yogis stop by!
