I was a catcher for baseball for nearly 40 years, and I have the knees to prove it. Today,I got two Cortizone injections one in each knee and Dr Albert Dheurle performed perfectly. Nothing but a stick, no pain and both knees are feeling great.
It has taken me nearly 2 months of weekly meetings with Eugene the Magnificent (literally how he is named in my contacts list) for my to figure out how to write this review, and I still am not confident that I will be effective. Here's the deal: this is the weirdest massage you'll ever get. You will not nod off during this massage (unless you are also the sort of person that nods off during atomic bombs and volcanoes, in which case, there are probably other medical professionals to see prior to getting a massage). I have been battling through full body, nonstop nerve pain for 28 years and I find incredible, odd relief after my time getting worked on by Eugene. I tend to have increased energy for days after, he has provided me a lot of helps (workouts, stretching suggestions, tools that help etc) to take with me, and he is a profoundly curious person, genuinely interested in all the parts that make up the whole. I always leave edified by the conversation and what I have learned of him, he is using his time with me to develop his own knowledge and skill (which is great news for you, new patient!). He is brilliant, and never done learning. I am deeply grateful for the friend who referred me. I have not felt such hope in managing my pain in a very long time. Is it weird and hard to explain? Yep. Do it anyway.

I have spent years trying to find someone who chooses the right color for my eyebrows because I have reddish hair and I’m so happy I found Jorden who found the perfect color and setting time! Highly recommend her as she cares for the details and is very talented.
Jim is definitely an acquired taste, but in a positive way! There's no shortage of ego with him, however he absolutely backs it up. We initially went with BASK Construction because Jim owned the lot we wanted, so it wasn't really a choice at first. But over the three years it took to build our custom home, it became clear that he really knew what he was doing. His attention to detail is impressive. For example, he didn't screw down the floorboards until after painting and running dehumidifiers for three weeks. That extra month meant zero squeaks in our floors! Our home was partly a design-build project, since we only had basic architectural plans. During the process Jim rearranged beams and made structural changes that completely perfected the floor plan while paying attention to lines of sight. Jim and his team achieved a beautiful balance with the finish work, detailed, yet casual and comfortable. Exactly what we wanted. We would absolutely work with him again on another home construction or renovation.

The good: I don't like making appointments for a haircut so the hybrid system is great. You can check the wait time online and get on the list before you leave home. The price is also great. I can't stomach paying $50-60 for a haircut that takes 10 minutes. The bad: you never know what kind of cut you're going to get. Staff turnover is high so it's rare to get the same stylist twice. I've had seriously good cuts here - 5 stars all the way. But I've a also a couple of 1 star cuts - really, really bad. Fortunately hair grows back. But until I can bare to lay down more cash for a cut, Great Clips it is.
Raul has been cutting my son’s hair for several months and I can’t recommend him enough. He’s friendly and great with kids on top of being a skilled barber. The shop is welcoming and not your typical Gig Harbor barber shop.

They are really nice and efficient here, so I feel bad giving anything less than 4 stars. I have been here before and noticed the nail art I received was just okay. Then again yesterday, I believe they need to improve their skills a bit. I asked for a heart, and think it could have been cleaner. My gel manicure has also already chipped on day 2. Usually I get a good 1-2 weeks before any signs of chipping. Pedicure was perfect though.
Went here today at 10am on a Thursday and got right in. Tiffany did my pedicure and Hana (her shirt said) did my gel manicure at the same time. My brought my toddler with me and they were very sweet with her. They have a pink kids pedicure station (we did not use but my daughter sat in this chair and loved it). Total time was around 40 minutes while they did pedicure/manicure at the same time. I noticed Tiffany used alcohol to clean up edges of toe nails which I appreciate this extra attention to detail in a clean finish. A woman Kristie I presume is owner, was very friendly and thankful.
Cleanliness: The salon appeared clean and modern. Each pedicure station had disposable liner

Today's review is for Olympic Nails & Spa in Gig Harbor. First off let me start off by saying that this business has been under new management since August of 2024. This is a Great thing for Olympic Nails! They have one of the best Nail technicians in the PNW, (her name is Annie). Her and the staff are an unbelievable addition to this business. I can say, (100%) since my wife, daughter and even my mom have been going to Annie for many years. They absolutely love her and her work. Over the years, I have been privileged to see all of Annie's hard work and the creations that she comes up with on people's nails. I honestly don't know how someone can be so articulate and precise while working on nails. Now let's be honest ladies, sometimes a nail will break or fall off these technicians cannot make the nails always last forever. I have been married for 33 yrs-YES, (33) so I've seen and heard of all kinds of nail issues in that time. My wife and daughter have Never been So happy with all of the work Annie and the staff have done for them in almost ten years. I would Highly recommend Annie and the staff at Olympic Nails to do a fantastic job on your nails or a pedicure. Most Women when they find a place they like will stick to it. If you find yourself wondering where else to go- then wonder no more. Come to Olympia Nail & Spa and give them a try. Even though I had washed my hair beforehand, she insisted on doing a full wash and conditioning treatment taking her time to make it a truly relaxing experience. Melanie is incredible! As a bridesmaid, she not only did my hair but also styled the entire wedding party—including the bride, mother of the bride, five bridesmaids, and the flower girl. Since the venue wasn’t available until later, she had us start at the salon at 6 a.m., and then came with us to the venue to finish and do the final touch-ups. We were all so thankful for her flexibility and creative problem-solving, and every one of us looked amazing!
I was especially nervous because my hair is quite thin and has been falling out. I’ve had some bad experiences with hairstylists at weddings before, and my mom is also a hairstylist, which makes it hard for me to trust just anyone with my hair. I had decided to use clip-in extensions for a fuller look, with braids and soft curls, but I was worried it might be too much to ask. When I showed Melanie the picture and the extensions, she was enthusiastic and confident about creating the look I wanted. She worked effortlessly with the extensions, constantly checking in with me to make sure I felt comfortable and that she was on track with my vision.
As someone whose mom is a hairstylist, it’s always a little hard to sit in another stylist’s chair, but Melanie made it feel so easy and comfortable.

I booked the Restore & Refresh Extended package at Blue Moon Massage & Wellness Spa in Gig Harbor, which included a one-hour massage and one-hour facial with Madeline. From start to finish, the experience was exceptional.
Upon arrival, I was greeted with a warm, friendly smile and escorted to a peaceful waiting area. I was offered tea or water while I waited, which was a lovely touch and immediately set the tone for a relaxing experience. The spa’s ambiance is warm, calming, and inviting.
My appointment began right on time, and Madeline was outstanding. During the massage, she expertly identified the areas that needed the most attention and applied the perfect amount of pressure throughout the session. The facial was pure bliss—thorough, relaxing, and incredibly rejuvenating. I left feeling completely refreshed, deeply relaxed, and with a beautiful glow.

Skin logic by Shadi is a place everyone should visit. Shadi is a very knowledgeable and professional esthetician and she has a unique touch. She uncover needs and customize her work accordingly. My facial with her was such an amazing experience that I gifted several members of my family gift cards and they all loved it. In waxing she is an artist and transforms your look.

Shannon was very kind and professional. My initial appointment went well, and I really liked how my lash extensions looked.
About a week later, Shannon followed up with me to ask how I was liking them. I let her know that I liked the look of the lashes, but felt they were shedding faster than expected. She was very understanding and offered to have me come back for another set at no charge.
At the follow-up appointment, she took the time to explain that oil or moisture may have contributed to the retention issue and adjusted the application to help the lashes last longer. The new set has been holding up much better so far.
I really appreciate that Shannon followed up, stood behind her work, and made sure I was happy with the final result. She clearly cares about her clients and the quality of her work.

I had one new tattoo and one coverup done and I was very happy with the service, the art, and the pricing is very reasonable for the level of skill that Xorcha has. I had inspiration art for both but received custom pieces at the end and love everything. I communicated what my goals were and everything was incorporated with no issues.

I've had more work done since then and I couldn't be happier. Xorcha takes the idea out of my head and puts it in a stencil. I would recommend to anyone :)
We started with a sour dough caused drain clog, ended up with Jason finding that our septic filter has been placed at the wrong places and the water is not going from the first tank to the pump tank, then figured out the clog is worse than we thought and took multiple hours of drain snake to clean the main pipe out.
It was definitely stressful / hard work, and during multiple points we were genuinely worried, but Jason kept pushing and explained to us how things work.
Eventually we fixed both the septic and the sour dough clog over two days, as well as replaced a sewage pipe that wasn't done properly.
Jason will be our plumber of choice going forward!
Thank you to Pat's Plumbing and to Julio for the solid work they did on my incoming water system. The work is solid. They are happy to answer any questions I have, even a month after the work is finished. I really feel like the integrity is there. I am happy to recommend them to anyone I know in this area who needs plumbing services.
Great Western Plumbing came out today and installed a Bevelo gas light from New Orleans today. They did a wonderful job! They were very friendly, polite and professional. I won’t hesitate to hire them again when I need another gas line installed for my back yard.
I had Chris as the expert come out and he quickly diagnosed my brother's plumbing problem. Was more extensive than I originally thought but he used time wisely and coordinated others to help from another local company to get septic pumped. He's a pro and he digs really fast. I'll ask for him first if the need comes up again.

They are honest, professional, and truly care about their customers while providing quality plumbing repairs and solid service. i was really impressed not only by their plumbing skills, but also by their knowledge of permit codes and their positive, professional attitude. jack and his apprentice miles fixed the leak under my sink on short notice, worked quickly, and made sure everything was done the right way and up to code. They also took time to explain the repair, checked that the drain and supply lines were working properly, and left the area clean when the job was finished. The pricing was fair and reasonable for the service provided, and the whole experience felt smooth and stress-free. i definitely recommend this plumbing team for reliable repairs and helpful service.
On 8/6/24 N Shore Electric sent David, and his apprentice Josh to our home to trouble shoot a couple repairs. They not only quickly found the problems but repaired them! David, found a total of 3 fire hazards in our home and restored power not only to the garage lights, but to our bathroom outlets, and replaced a broken outlet box. We can now use all the bathroom outlets! He explained the problems (not in excess) and showed us the issues that were hazardous, that were shortening the circuit in the bathroom outlets upstairs/downstairs repeatedly which had been so annoying! (FYI We had a friend replace the GFI outlets - before we called N Shore - to no avail).
We had been using the garage door opener lights all winter until the lights were quickly fixed, because it did take some time to find an electrician by referral. (It obviously wasn't a flipped breaker, fuse, fixture prob or bulb). So, it is so nice to have a well lit garage again!
I asked David to check a lose electrical box behind the sofa and was shocked when he showed me it was cracked! Another fire hazard! We no longer have the cord coming unplugged! David instructed Josh to replace it with the part we had on hand, and it was done in a blink of an eye! Boy they work fast & nice! David was writing the invoice while Josh finished up.
On a final note, we now trust that our septic problems that we had been experiencing are not electrically related to anything, because David checked the box for us too!
The team at N Shore Electric left things clean/tidy. We got the Aloha we expect from a friendly, professional, caring electrical team. Josh & David worked well together, so they didn't waste anytime or our $! Ask for David & Josh!

Can’t say enough about the excellence of this business . When we contacted them they were utterly accommodating and quick to respond- it wasn’t a big job - but it had a sense of urgency because of the appliances being operated. In addition to making the repairs he discovered an ant infestation- he vacuumed the ants and cleaned the area and notified us of the issue . His fee was extremely fair and really went above and beyond given the ant issue.

In the process of renovating my new home. So far John Offutt has been a great advocate and teacher. He educated me about carpeting a large space and the best type of pad to use. Dr. Reid has gone above and beyond for me and Katie has been so helpful with making sure I understand everything. Very happy with Purdy Vet hospital. We have been going here for about 15 years. So grateful for Dr Pope (and her humor) and the rest of the team. Recently our pup had a dental that was more than anticipated and the communication was great and we are happy they were thorough in diagnosing what was going on. Yesterday my family and I came because my dog Bentley had a seizure and wasn’t acting like himself. We ended up having to make the hard decision to bring him peace and let him cross the rainbow bridge. I can’t even find the words to describe how amazing the whole team is here. There was so much love, compassion, and calmness every step of the way. Which made such a hard day feel better. Having the last moments with our dog in that environment, surrounded by such great people made it better. I also felt super educated that I was making the right choice. The girls always offer exceptional service and care for your furry buddy. We typically get a nail trim but this time we boarded the dogs together for a short stay. They loved it and were worn out from all the play❤

All of the instructors and staff at The Fit Lab 253 are absolutely phenomenal. I felt welcome from the first day I walked in. They offer classes are geared for all levels, with right amount of challenge. The cues are easy to follow and visual guidance is also available when needed. Honestly, being cued correctly and being corrected when I'm out of alignment or in the wrong position have kept me from injury. Reformer Pilates has changed my life! I took a few private lessons with Amanda as my intro to pilates. She and the lessons were so amazing, I've been hooked ever since. When I'm in town, I come to the studio fairly consistently and my body has been transformed, completely snatched. I feel my workouts all over, every atrophied muscle has been awakened. Every instructor does something "special" in their class, please try them all, you will not be disappointed. I highly, highly recommend coming here.
Terri is awesome! She’s so knowledgeable and caring - after 3 sessions my should pain was relieved and my whole body felt better. She provides exercises and advice to help you with the specific areas your body needs a little extra love and support. She’s amazing.
I highly recommend Trent as a massage therapist. I received 4 or 5 therapeutic massages from him during the past two months. These sessions dramatically reduced chronic pain issues and left me feeling more relaxed and limber than I have felt in months. I found Trent to be a good listener and communicator, and a thoroughly professional provider. I am a continuing client.

Stephanie has magic hands. I guess I got fired as a client, though. She canceled my appointments and said she would call to reschedule them but she never did. That was as two years ago and to this day I'm unsure of what caused my excommunication.
It has taken me nearly 2 months of weekly meetings with Eugene the Magnificent (literally how he is named in my contacts list) for my to figure out how to write this review, and I still am not confident that I will be effective. Here's the deal: this is the weirdest massage you'll ever get. You will not nod off during this massage (unless you are also the sort of person that nods off during atomic bombs and volcanoes, in which case, there are probably other medical professionals to see prior to getting a massage). I have been battling through full body, nonstop nerve pain for 28 years and I find incredible, odd relief after my time getting worked on by Eugene. I tend to have increased energy for days after, he has provided me a lot of helps (workouts, stretching suggestions, tools that help etc) to take with me, and he is a profoundly curious person, genuinely interested in all the parts that make up the whole. I always leave edified by the conversation and what I have learned of him, he is using his time with me to develop his own knowledge and skill (which is great news for you, new patient!). He is brilliant, and never done learning. I am deeply grateful for the friend who referred me. I have not felt such hope in managing my pain in a very long time. Is it weird and hard to explain? Yep. Do it anyway.

I’ve been doing physical therapy here for the last eight weeks for a shoulder injury and my recovery has been steady and successful. My pain has diminished, strength has increased and my range of motion is almost back to normal. Exercises are geared towards incremental recovery and home exercises are made easily accessible online to do at home. My experiences with all staff and ownership have been professional, positive and helpful. I have been to ABC Physical Therapy twice for 2 different issues over the last 2-3 years and they have been helpful each time. Dustin is very knowledgeable and patient and has great skills as a PT. I agree with other reviews that his dry needling has been a game changer for my more bothersome chronic shoulder tightness and pain. It really is the thing that has made the most difference in the last year, and Dustin is very skilled and has great technique, highly recommend!
The staff will keep one busy with new exercises from session to session. This helps keep the patient from getting bored from doing the same exercises over and over.
