“On 8/6/24 N Shore Electric sent David, and his apprentice Josh to our home to trouble shoot a couple repairs. They not only quickly found the problems but repaired them! David, found a total of 3 fire hazards in our home and restored power not only to the garage lights, but to our bathroom outlets, and replaced a broken outlet box. We can now use all the bathroom outlets! He explained the problems (not in excess) and showed us the issues that were hazardous, that were shortening the circuit in the bathroom outlets upstairs/downstairs repeatedly which had been so annoying! (FYI We had a friend replace the GFI outlets - before we called N Shore - to no avail).
We had been using the garage door opener lights all winter until the lights were quickly fixed, because it did take some time to find an electrician by referral. (It obviously wasn't a flipped breaker, fuse, fixture prob or bulb). So, it is so nice to have a well lit garage again!
I asked David to check a lose electrical box behind the sofa and was shocked when he showed me it was cracked! Another fire hazard! We no longer have the cord coming unplugged! David instructed Josh to replace it with the part we had on hand, and it was done in a blink of an eye! Boy they work fast & nice! David was writing the invoice while Josh finished up.
On a final note, we now trust that our septic problems that we had been experiencing are not electrically related to anything, because David checked the box for us too!
