After a complete fashion emergency when I accidentally sat down too quickly and blew out the seam of my favorite skirt, I was on the verge of a meltdown. Thankfully, she answered my call and came to the rescue. From the moment I spoke with her, she was calm, reassuring, and incredibly kind. She immediately put me at ease and took the time to explain things about my garment that I never knew before. Her knowledge and expertise were obvious from the start.
Not only did she take me right away, but she even delayed her own dinner plans to help me. That level of kindness and dedication is so rare these days. The repair itself was flawless; you would never know there had been any damage at all.
And the price? Absolutely unbelievable. She only charged me $20 for high-quality work, same-day service, and incredible customer care. It was an absolute steal.
She truly feels like one of God's angels on this earth. If you're considering alterations, repairs, or tailoring, do not hesitate to call her. I have been going to Gary & Joel’s for a year and half after moving to the Lancaster area, and finding a barber that you’re comfortable with is not easy, but I found Gary & Joel’s and their reviews were top notch. Gary’s been my barber since but just recently found out that he’s retiring, all the best to Gary on his retirement, I never had any complaints on the cuts he has given me. But I will continue to go there, it’s a good atmosphere and as a senior citizen the price is just right. Yes I recommend Gary & Joel’s Barber Shop!!

I genuinely don’t get some of the bad reviews (possibly because they are from some time ago) because my experience at Tropic Tan was the complete opposite. Jessica helped me today and was SO friendly in a real, not fake way…actually listening and happy to answer all my random curiosity questions without rushing me ? I love how thorough their sign up process is too, it felt informative. The beds are super well maintained, there are multiple levels to choose from, and with a quick glance they seem to have a ton of lotions for every budget. I used to go to Palm Beach Tan (even back when they were Baja Beach) and just couldn’t bring myself to go back…this is exactly why. I’ll take a cute, quaint place with a genuinely personable staff over a super modern sales driven vibe any day. I was on a little tanning hiatus thanks to laser hair removal ? and I am SO glad I took a chance on this place…definitely coming back for many moons to come.

I am so incredibly happy with these gel tips done by Lili. I have gone to Lili since I was a child, and I was soooo nervous to try something other than acrylics. Lili assured me these would be best for the length I like, and she was so right. They feel like MY nails! They're also more flexible and comfortable than acrylics, and they are less brittle. There's none of that excess glue that sticks to your skin after getting acrylics done, either.
I HIGHLY recommend Lili, especially if you like long nails and fine line designs. I don't trust anyone else to do my nails! Thanks, Lili :)

While on a visit to Lancaster, I decided to stop by to get my eyebrows cleaned up. My daughter had booked an appointment with Riley previous to my visit, so I checked for availability for an appointment for me. Luckily, there was one available after hers. Perfect!We had a 4:30 appointment time on a Wednesday. The spa is located in a strip mall. There is ample parking directly in front of the spa; no problems finding a stall. When you walk into the spa, the atmosphere is cute and fun. Pictures of legendary icons: Marilyn Monroe, Brigette Bardot, and Audrey Hepburn with big gum bubbles adorn the walls. A neon sign stating, “You’re like really pretty” above the checkout desk certainly brought a small to my face. Riley, our aesthetician checked us in and brought us over to her station. It is a heavenly reclined chair(?) with a fuzzy cover was DIVINE to lay on. I’m not kidding. I repeatedly said that I want one for my house. Once in place, Riley asked about my eyebrow goals. She worked diligently and was a joy to speak with. Not gonna lie, I felt no pain or discomfort while she cleaned up my brows. She is very good. Once finished, I was given a mirror to check out her work. It looked like my eyes got a mini lift! I am very happy with her work. Riley also did a great job with my daughter’s brows, too!Would I definitely come back? Absolutely! Do I recommend? Resounding yes! I wish I could have tried out the other services, but my visit to Lancaster was short and already packed with other activities. Thank you, Riley for a wonderful brow waxing!

For our ADU permit in Lancaster, the city needed a map of an unrecorded sewer easement line. Anthony & Sons Plumbing sent Jeff and the crew out on time, and they carefully scoped the sewer line, marked the route, and noted the depth. They also helped confirm that the sewer pipe was not on our property, which was very useful for the application process. The team was polite, professional, and easy to work with. The price was higher than another estimate, but the quality of the sewer inspection work, their knowledge, and the clear information they provided made it worth it. I would definitely consider them again for future sewer lateral and plumbing work.

80 year old home needed a complete bathtub faucets overhaul. Original 3 handle faucets over 50 years old, all replaced as well as shower and drain set-up. Beyond basic plumbing, work involved new pipes and cutting through plaster and old tile. I knew this was a bigger job....had called other plumbers and they frankly wasted our time. I have used Gochnauer for my heating and cooling for a # of years and I have consistently found them to be very professional and trustworthy. This weekend I had the need for emergency service as the furnace failed overnight and the inside temp was 59 degrees. Mark called me from the emergency service line within 20 minutes of my call. Additionally, he walked me through a few steps over the phone that enabled me to successfully reset the system avoiding the delay and cost of an emergency service call. Inside temp now going back up! After moving into our condo, we needed help with the electrical panel. We were told to use a licensed electrician, and that turned out to be a great choice. Brantley inspected the panel and found signs of a small issue inside the breaker box that needed attention right away. We had the breakers replaced and the panel updated to meet code, which gave us a lot of peace of mind. Later, we had an EV charger installed in the garage, and Brantley also added a new bathroom light and exhaust fan. He and Thomas were professional, careful, and easy to work with. The bathroom electrical work required opening some drywall, but they kept the area tidy and cleaned everything up before leaving. The whole experience was smooth, safe, and well done, and we feel very fortunate to have found such reliable electricians.
I called Torres Electric after another electrician quoted me 4k to replace a heater that was “beyond repair”. The electrician who came by and diagnosed the issue to find a relatively simple fix which he handled within 2 hours for a fraction of the price. The heater works perfectly now and I’m very happy with the service. I know who to call for electrical work in the future

I just had lights installed on my high ceilings. The electricians arrived on time. They even removed their shoes and reviewed the job scope thoroughly. They gave me an estimated completion time and began right away. They worked diligently throughout the day and entertained my numerous questions.On a scale of 1-10, I give them an 11. These guys were outstanding. I would personally hire these guys for my organization. They are all professional, fun, honest, and take their job seriously while still engaging.They covered my floors, walls, and stairs. There was no dust, and no touch-up paint was needed. They finished ahead of time and provided me a thorough review of the lights and how to make them "SMART."I would definitely rehire them. I did some estimates, and they were substantially lower than other companies.

I thought I knew all about cleaning and I thought from my last job we had the best cleaning chemicals till I started this job. Clean works use the best cleaning chemicals out there. I don't even have to wear a mask when using the chemicals cause there not potent. We take pride in our work. I can't speak for everyone's work as I am new and just getting around to some accounts but for the ones I have seen do cleaning they are Good. Also, The staff here is amazing and so are the cleaners. My husband and I have had two, bare bones, open storage rooms, downstairs in our bi-level home. Our washer/dryer was in a most awkward hallway position due to the previous owners--and we weren't quite sure how to make that space work more efficiently (and aesthetically) for us.
Tom came out and took measurements, talked us through the whole process of moving our laundry units, updating the plumbing & electrical, and framing out a new (large) reach-in closet. Their crew arrived exactly when they said they would—and they did a fantastic (professional) job of hearing me out about placements and details. Having electrical issues? This is the company you need to contact. A small family run business with fair pricing and excellent results. Recently we had a 10 unit apartment building without electric during a snowstorm and these folks got there and diagnosed the problem pretty quickly. While they did have to go back 2 more times with parts the total cost was quite fair.

Mike Long, the owner of Jim Long Landshapers was awesome to work with, as were all of his employees. Despite the challenges of dealing with zoning and stormwater management in the City of Lancaster, Mike stayed positive and got the job done. With only a three foot walkway to get to our backyard, he and his employees brought in many tons of stone, brick, block, and topsoil by wheelbarrow to make our backyard dream come true. When we purchased our older home, the plantings at the front of our house were very overgrown, and somewhat haphazard. Our brick front porch was crumbling, and back patio was sinking. We worked with Fernhill Landscapes to address all of these issues. The plan for the gardens and hard scape was spectacular. Fernhill demonstrated a vast knowledge of all plants, including those native to our area. We were particularly impressed by their design expertise. Our gardens are lovely, and the hard scapes are now both safe and beautiful. Doug from Fernhill, and his crew, were excellent people to work with. Everyone communicated well, to ensure we understood the tasks that were taking place, and when they would occur. Issues always arise when working with a project of this scope. In our case, only two occurred, and the team responded immediately to discuss and resolve each item. We found Fernhill Landscapes to be extremely knowledgeable and professional, and would not hesitate to work with them again. We would give them the highest recommendation.

I had Chris Huber work for me on two different projects. The first was for a retaining wall, concrete sidewalk, and deck at my parents house. He also dug up the old driveway and graded it for the new pavement. The second project was to remove a concrete patio in my back yard and tear out a sidewalk/curb in front of my house. He helped me form up and pour the new sidewalk. Chris is a journeyman carpenter and provides good insight to home building projects as well as excavating. He was easy to get along with and my family is happy with how both projects turned out. I look forward to using him again.

I wanted to share my experience with Smiles by Stevens. I needed one of my front 4 teeth extracted, a large bone graft and and ultimately an implant. Dr. Stevens and Mal were excellent throughout all of the procedures and they stayed after hours to accomodate my schedule. I had to have multiple injections in my gums and I have to give Dr. Stevens' needle skills an A++. Never felt any pain during, or after, all 3 procedures. The entire staff were friendly, helpful and professional. Never thought I would say going to the dentist was a great experience, but I have to give them credit, this was a 5 star experience. Thank you all!

Liz, once verifying I was his POA, provided me his latest records, explained what they mean and suggested I get the copy from the care facility so I could compare his last appointment here with the info from his latest appointment at the new place. Her insights were very thorough and caring! She is very knowledgable but was able to make it understandable to me. I would highly recommend this practice based on this interaction!!

I had pretty bad sciatica that shot down my leg. Bothered me for a year. I couldn't golf and I had to sleep with a pillow between my legs in order fall asleep without pain. I went to different chiropractors in the area. They provided relief but never corrected the root issue. Dr. Scatko found the root cause in my first visit. It only took him 4 appointments to correct it and now I am 100% pain free. Couldn't speak more highly of him and his ability to diagnose and rid my sciatica!

(Our patient numbers are 2 and 6!) he has helped my husband, not only with his back and shoulders, but with his knees and ankles and much more. So very true that he does not just treat a specific thing but the whole person. He is very knowledgeable and recommends exercises to maintain your adjustment. He will show you how to walk! He has modern equipment to help you relax and some exercise machines for specific reasons. His wife, Laura, is the office manager-we love her! Can’t recommend highly enough. I recently saw Dr. Hebel to have an area on my nose that was Basil cell carcinoma. It went better than I expected. I have stitches that will come out in a week. Everyone was very professional. I can’t say if there will be a scar there or not because it’s too soon. I hope not. I’m certain if anything pops up again, I will return to Dermatology associates of Lancaster.

There is not enough good things to say about this entire office. Dr Brod Diagnosed my 6 year old daughter with a rare tumor on her retina. As scary as that sounds he helped walk us through the whole meaning/outcome ...everything he could to help ease us. anytime we had questions, his office staff would help us find answers so quickly. His nurse is so wonderful she puts our daughter at ease every time, and Dr. Brod is her hero, my daughter wants to be an eye Dr. like him she says because he helped her see again :) I would recommend this office to anyone! Not only do they have extremely amazing bed side manner, but they kept us updated during the surgery and after. He is a very great knowledgeable surgeon.

Dr. Hodges and her team are great! I appreciate that they don’t push services that aren't necessary and I feel I can really trust them.
I tried this vet because my normal couldn't get me in as quickly as I needed and I was not disappointed and would recommend and return. This appointment was for my crested gecko which was recently rescued and had laid eggs and had babies. I called on a Friday and they got me in later the same day.
One thing I really noticed about this vet is I never once felt like they just wanted my money. On the phone right away it was just concern for my reptile and the receptionist already had experience with them so that was a plus. My usual vet still asks me for money up front and I've been going there for years. Lincoln highway only asked for payment after the appointment was done and over with and my geckos were looked over. And the price was literally less than half of what my usual vet wanted to charge me. So I'm very satisfied there.

I have been taking my pups to them for over 15 years. My current crew consists of five rescues, three seniors and two younger guys. The seniors each have medical issues that need cared for on a regular basis. The vet and the staff are amazing and have pulled more than one from the brink of death. Dr. Purvis has a vast knowledge of health care and is willing to work with me to keep them healthy. I enjoy adopting seniors and they generally come with medical challenges. They have always made time to get me in when something crops up and spend whatever time is needed until a plan is formulated. And they are very supportive when I call and say I don’t know what’s wrong but something is going on. They listen, diagnose and help me understand the treatment plan. And when that time comes for them to cross the rainbow bridge they make it the best experience possible. Dr. Purvis and her staff are an amazing team of healthcare professionals and all around great people.

Lynnlee does an outstanding job, with my chocolate lab, Roxy! Roxy is terrified of the hairdryer, so it can't be used on her. Lynnlee makes sure she is dry when I pick her up, just by towel drying her. I have taken her other places, and she always ended up with an ear infection, because they never took the time to dry her right! I highly recommend The Dog Den!

Had an excellent first experience with Focused Care Therapeutic Massage. All of my questions were thoroughly answered ahead of time allowing me to make an informed decision about what type of massage would suit my needs best. My masseuse, Kim, did an incredible job focusing on the targeted muscle groups and made sure to check in during the massage to make sure she was using an appropriate pressure.

Keith is great! When I first saw him, he worked out a shoulder knot that had been bothering me for months. I finally went in for an hour long deep tissue massage and I don't think my muscles have been this relaxed since I was a kid. I will definitely be back.

I've had a few massages from Lily before, but this was the first prenatal experience I had as I am 17 weeks pregnant! I had been feeling a lot of pain in my lower back and hip tightness and decided to schedule. Not only was Lily able to relieve the pain but she had pillows perfectly set up so I could be as comfortable as I possibly can right now! I could have fallen asleep in the bed but was able to pick Lily's brain about her extensive knowledge of health and wellness. I always feel better after a visit :)
Surely there had to be somewhere that I could realize some relief from the constant chronic pain throughout my upper back. At age 79 I had about given up but by some miracle I was referred to Serenity Massage and the incredibly gifted touch of Kimberly Griffith. I have no idea how she is able to separate her gift of pain relief from the numerous other places I have visited but I am not going to question it After my first massage I attended a social event that same night and was amazed how much more enjoyable life could be without pain. I have been seeing Bernadette since I was 16 years old, I am 22 now. She’s significantly helped me navigate through all of my highs and lows. She really cracks into your trauma and helps you process and heal if you allow her to.
I have been here about six times and I always came in with a problem and the masseuse fixed it she is great!!! I would not go anywhere else. I have plantar Fac and could not walk and I walked out and the next day no pain. They did some remodeling and the place is clean and pleasant looking, I have no problems going there.

Cindy gave me a wonderful massage last evening. I occasionally have a total massage but most times Cindy concentrates on areas I ask her to target. She will do “energy work” on the muscles in my lower back that I pull this time of year working in my flowerbeds. She does deep tissue on my back, shoulders and neck where I hold my stress. She also works on my sinuses. She will work on other areas as well. Each massage is different and unique. I leave calm and relaxed. Thanks Cindy!! ?

I have known Melissa for years and have had the privilege of working with her previously. When I was having shoulder issues and couldn’t seem to improve it on my own, I went to her and she is helping me get back on track! My wife found this place for me and boy am I glad she did! Dr. Lee was really friendly and knowledgeable plus she did a great job making my pain feel way better! She also gave me a good sheet with foods that could be making my issue worse and also gave me some things I can change to improve my symptoms! Body and sole offers the most relaxing experience you could ever want. My stress diminishes from the time I walk in the door. The massage therapists are wonderful at their jobs and are a pleasure to be with. If reflexology or a facial are what you're going for, you can't go wrong. They are wonderful and skilled as well.
