“I rarely leave reviews, but sometimes when the place is exceptional, I take time to review so that other people can benefit from my reviews. My child is overweight and for many years we struggled to find a place that my child would be accepted, would love to be physically active, and would strive to be better person as a whole. We have tried many different places such as ballet and dance in different states and places; but my child lost interest within two weeks of attending. I was losing hope until I decided to try one more place - Taeguk Taekwondo, and we found what we have been looking for many years. At a deeper level, I understood that the passion of the teacher translates to children who then, feel motivated and have a desire to continue. Mr. Hayes and Mrs. Hayes are professionals, who helped my child tremendously. We have been going to Taeguk Taekwondo for three months and my child is excited about every single class just as much as if she was going there for the first time. My child sees and feels that Mr. and Mrs. Hayes greatly care about her and genuinely desire to help her, and not just her, but all the children that come to this school. The teachers earned my child's respects and she tries her best not to let them down in any capacity. Mr. and Mrs. Hayes definitely have a talent to show my child to appreciate the physical activity, to set higher moral standards, and to be accountable for her behavior. I have never seen this amount of care from any places before. Once your child attends this school, rest be assured that your child is in good hands; in the hands of genuine people who have a broader perspective than just physical exercise. “Sadly it turns out Master Yim has retired as of February 2023. I found out two days after he cleared the place out. Right when I finally spent a decade overcoming some unrelated injuries, enough to return. He is one of the best instructors out there. I hope my fellow students remember not only the technique, but more importantly his philosophy, and pass it on to future generations. If anyone knows his whereabouts, or remembers his lessons, or could recommend a similar experience, I'd be glad to get in touch.Pil seung!“

“Mimidis Karate has been very welcoming to my son and to the other children just starting out. The helpers all seem knowledgeable as well when they're leading the sessions. For having some larger classes they do a good job at watching all of the children and giving some feedback. We've been here about a month now and my son absolutely loves it. At first when you hear the sessions are only 30 minutes long you think that's not much at all but you'll quickly realize it's plenty of time for the younger kids and anymore would not be beneficial for them.“

“I absolutely love this place. To call it just a gym isn’t doing it any justice. It’s a gym, school, and home. Also Steve is the nicest guy I ever met and went above and beyond to make me feel comfortable and gave me some really solid advice on MMA. I 100% recommend it even if you have to drive 40 minutes like I do.“
