Long story short, I had a horrible and humiliating experience with a Dr at Penn State Hershey after having an abnormal growth. Dr. McGillis was willing to take the time to give me a second opinion. She was kind and gentle and respected my desire for another set of eyes. No complaints.

I've read the negative reviews and I can't disagree more. I've seen Dr. McGillis twice and will be going for a third surgery shortly.She is an excellent, caring, and careful physician. On my last Mose treatment, I spent all day in the office and it took seven tries to get all the affected area. The reason it took so long was because she was trying to get all the affected tissue without damage to the surrounding area. I really appreciate that level of care, and wouldn't have it any other way.As far as her personality, she's a surgeon not a stand up comic. What an great experience for my facial surgery above my eye! The RN was right on the ball on all my questions and concerns as was the Doctor. My surgery turned into one larger than expected but she did a great job as it ended being across the bridge of my nose. 4 weeks later...I don't see the scar. A positive experience from the first phone call for information till I got the stitches removed. Thank you to all!
