My wedding dress was previously altered poorly from the shop I had bought it from. I took it to multiple tailor’s who turned me away saying the dress was too damaged due to being altered incorrectly. The Golden Needle was a fairy godmother and able to fix the dress in a short turn around just days before the wedding. I am so thankful for her amazing sewing skills and kindness! I could not recommend her more - she truly saved the day and made my dress wearable. I will be a loyal customer for alteration needs in the future!

Nancy has been doing my hair for years. I have extremely difficult hair to color. I know, I know... you will say you do too and every hairdresser will say they are the best and it's nothing they haven't faced before. My hair is naturally comprised of dark blonde, med blonde, light blonde, golds and strawberry blonde. That strawberry is my Achilles! Everywhere else I either leave: 1. Like a carrot top. 2. With a temporary glaze or toner in a feeble attempt to fix what they think I can't see. 3. Overly hilited hair over the color, bleached to the point of massive breakage and flyaways. Nancy is the only one who can balance my hair color right and keep it full, shiny and HEALTHY! Trust Me! Still don't believe me? I have an expert hair stylist, & I love her dearly but I met Sheri a few weeks ago & made an appointment. I am loyal but with a broken foot, wheelchair & bad back I could not drive. Sheri was walking distance. Wow!! Amazing. Her color was like gold to my hair & gave me so many treats. Something really good just happened to my hsir.

A beautiful salon and Sam gave me the best haircut I’ve ever had! She is an amazing stylist and really takes her time to make sure you leave her chair with a precise and flattering cut. She was able to give my fine, flat hair so much volume and bounce! I will definitely keep coming back.

Came in today for gel polish set. I usually get gel-x but I wanted to give my nails a break. Christina did a fantastic job at taking care of my nails and she spent a lot of time making sure my nails were prepped thoroughly and shaped the way I wanted them. My appointment was really quick and I appreciated how efficient she was. The salon has a relaxing atmosphere and the workers were all very nice to me. Would definitely come back again!

This is long overdue! I moved to San Diego from the east coast several months ago and in need of a new threading salon. We all know how agonizing that can be, I exclusively thread so my bar for eyebrow threading is high. Im so grateful I found Raanya Studios, all my needs were met and my technician gave me the best shape for my face. Will come again!

I'm newer to the area and found this salon based on the excellent reviews here. My experience was outstanding. I got an appointment the same afternoon. The salon was clean, Alma styli was friendly and personable. After months of pandemic lockdown, I got full highlights and a cut and I loved it. I will definitely be back. Convenient parking on the street and plenty in their parking lot.
I have been getting my lashes done consistently for the past 4 years and since going to Alexa for the past year+, I can tell a significant difference in how long my lashes stay on, no irritation after, and how generally satisfied I am each time I leave her studio. Her space is clean, cute, provides free parking, and in a wonderful little spot in Del Mar. She is truly amazing at her craft and makes each experience so enjoyable that I look forward to each appointment I have with her and that amazing feeling of fresh full lashes after is unbeatable! She's the ONE!

I’ve been going to Debbie B for the past 7 years and I should have posted this a long time ago, but she’s so good, I didn’t want to share my secret. ? I have been going to her because I love the way she blends my hair with blonde highlights. I am Asian, so I have really thick, dark brown, and I’m in my mid 40s, so the grey hairs have been popping up. Before I found Debbie, I’ll often times come out with brassy and orange hair. When going to Debbie, my hair comes out silky, shiny, blended, and blonde. She’s super sweet and I love our conversations. Totally worth the wait if she’s booked out. Text her for an appointment!

I went to Surface Aeshtetics is in Del Mar this morning and there is easy parking.I had a sunburn a week ago and my cheeks were very irritated, and face dry and scaly. I needed her help to correct the sun damage and mild hyperpigmentation, especially since I have been trying to minimize pigmentation on my cheeks with hydroquinone.She was very professional and gentle, providing education on the process of sun damage and how to correct it. My skin already feels much better.She also helped with small acne outbreaks on my nose and chin with extractions and my face is much clearer now.Thanks Michelle!1/17/2023: I wanted to update my review and say that I still stand by my previously written statement and Michelle is outstanding in her field and knowledge and experience. From the moment I walked in, the atmosphere felt peaceful and inviting. The space is clean, cozy, and thoughtfully set up, which made it easy to relax. The facial was great and tailored to my skin, and I loved the extra hand, neck, and head massage, it made the whole experience feel like a full reset. Dela was incredibly professional, gentle, and attentive, with such a positive and caring attitude. She made me feel comfortable the entire time. Highly recommend!
The most relaxing experience I've ever had. The spa music was perfect both in volume and in relaxation. The robes are soft and the sandles i wish I could've stole em. Beth's facial was out of this world. She's gentle and calming and really makes you feel comfortable. The products are amazing and my skin has never felt better. The massage was absolutely amazing and I wish I could pack them up and take them with me back to pa. No others will ever compare now.

The folks at I-Rise have been the absolute best! Juanita and Dr. Mohan are very diligent and meticulous. I was treated incredibly well here and all my mouth problems were taken care of better than I could have anticipated. It helps that they take Medi-Cal as well. I am used to bad dental experiences and this has been the most positive dental experience I have ever had! I would recommend them to anyone. Fantastic work and very friendly and professional staff. No weird up charges or random unexplained expenses. Incredibly clean facility. They help you make sense of everything! Very attentive to patient concerns and dental anxiety. I first went to Dr Lerner because I had a meniscus injury on my knee. He was able to get me walking again after two years of pain and misery. Also, I have stomach issues and he has helped me with that. He is a godsend. I really respect and admire him. He knows his stuff.

I’ve been rehabbing my shoulder for several months with Sarah at Bespoke Del Mar. I can’t say enough good things about Sarah’s expertise, fun nature, and kindness. She makes me look forward to PT rather than dread it! I am about 90% better and have avoided surgery or injections so yay. Bespoke is wonderful because you get the whole hour with your DPT - no assistants. And if you’re on Medicare it is covered fully by insurance. I love this place.
