I’ve been on the executive membership plan since the shop rolled this plan out. I get 3-4 haircuts a month for the price of 1. It’s an incredible deal and I can’t believe I have this as an option. Even with (optional) service tips, this is a massive savings. Danny is my go to guy. He is prompt, professional, he always gives me the BEST cut, and we have great conversations about all things conspiracy related. I have never had anything less than a perfect, hospitable experience at this shop. I live just down the street but when I move, I will still make the slightly longer trek to this shop due to the skill set of the staff, the cleanliness of the shop, the overall good vibes and the hospitality and customer service. I have never had difficult in making an appointment, granted- I don’t try to do last minute walk ins because that is absolutely unheard of today unless you want to wait a long time. Especially with a shop of this caliber, the barbers have stacked days due to high demand from clients. If you get your hair cut more than 1x a month; this deal is a no brainer. Just book your appts out for the month, it’s easy to reschedule on their Squire app too. Barber Refinery makes it easy to look good. Keep up the great work y’all ???

Tyler is incredible. I got a fantastic haircut from him. I visit a lot of shops and have had many different barbers. This is easily in my top 5 haircuts of all time. In addition to his barber skills, he is a great conversationalist; I was comfortable and enjoyed my time at the shop. Very clean space, great services and friendly staff. Will definitely be back.“

This is a true traditional barbershop — small, welcoming, and proudly family run across three generations. The focus isn’t on trendy décor or gimmicks. It’s on what matters: clean, quality cuts, great conversation, and fair prices.
I walked in without an appointment and knew within minutes this would become my new forever barber. After trying several places around the area and leaving disappointed more than once, this place finally got it right.
Even if you don’t live nearby, it’s worth the trip. Located right along Highway 101 and surrounded by great local eateries, it’s easy to turn a simple haircut into a nice stop while enjoying Encinitas.

“I've been going there for years. Rico is from a family of barbers. I always get great haircuts there, and the beard trims are great too. The staff is great. They do excellent work. They always review what kind of cut the customer wants before they start and when they finish they give the customer an opportunity to request any changes they might want. I often see parents bringing boys there for haircuts. All of the barbers seem happy to do haircuts for the kids and they have a good repor with them. The regular mens cut is $35 and well worth the price. Beard trims are $20. I do get a beard trim on holidays or other special occasions when I want to look extra great. You will look great when you leave.“
