I contacted a flooring contractor to fix uneven surfaces in my home. They corrected the issue & installed new flooring perfectly. Everything feels balanced and looks neat.
When our AC started acting up this year, I figured it was probably done for and that we'd be looking at a full replacement. I looked at several different companies, but ultimately reached out to Mountain Valley as they were highly recommended by several Seattle-centric communities.
On the day of the appointment, Jim showed up exactly on time. He was polite, professional, and thorough. He found a leak in our evaporator coil and recommended replacing it. Honestly, I was surprised (and relieved) that he didn't jump straight to a system replacement, as I had expected.
The quote we received was a little bit higher than expected, but this was entirely because of the cost of the coil itself (dang inflation). But regardless, it was a very reasonable quote to get our system back up and running, and significantly cheaper than a full system replacement.
The repair went smoothly, and we're once again enjoying a comfortable home. We would absolutely recommend Mountain Valley to our friends and family!

Ricardo and his teammate did an amazing job replacing a cracked and leaking portion of my old cast iron drain and sewer pipes with ABS. He also replaced my sump pump with a brand new one I provided and repiped everything so it looked nice and tidy. Communication and service was both timely and professional. Everything was done to code and after pulling a permit the inspection passed with flying colors. I had obtained 4 different quotes and Ricardo's price was the best hands down and the quality of his workmanship was top notch. This one is a keeper folks

Highly recommend Arrow. My chihuahua was attacked by a dog on a Saturday evening and she had a puncture wound and a torn ear. I went to Arrow; the front desk tech told me the vet would not be able to see us before they closed at 8pm, but the tech took my dog, shaved around her wound, and gave her a quick once-over to make sure she didn't need immediate emergency care, then told us to come back early on Sunday (which we did). There was no charge for the once-over on Saturday, which gave me HUGE relief and peace of mind. I went back on Sunday and the vet took a closer look at her wounds, got them cleaned, made sure there was no neck or spinal injuries, and I got some antibiotics and antiflammatories to take home. The final bill was just over $250, which is a fraction of what I expected to pay. The other dog's owner paid me for the visit and they were shocked the bill was so low, too. If I had to wait all weekend to see our usual vet on Monday I would have been a nervous wreck. Urgent care was exactly what we needed, the staff at Arrow was great, and the cost was more than reasonable.

Filipino and family owned barber shop ♥️ I take my son here to get his haircut. They perform excellent work. My son is always happy with his hair cut. This place is by appointment only. You can schedule by using the app Booksy or by using their business phone number and request an appointment. They can take walk ins but only when it isn't busy and they don't have any appointments. Cash payments are not recommended they use Zelle, cashapp, or venmo. Not open Sundays closest 2pm on Mondays. Otherwise normally closes at 7pm.

First time in to Sweet P Beauty for a eyebrow tint and eyelash lift. Siera was professional, calm and extremely gentle which I really appreciated. She always explained what she was doing next and made sure I was comfortable. I loved the result of the curled lashes and darker brows. Siera also showed me how to use my brow make up and brush more effectively. The shop itself was clean and well appointed with products. I know I will return!
Katie has given me nothing but chart-topping haircuts since I started going to her a few years ago, not to mention incredible dye and balayage work. The more I trust her, the better my hair looks.
My most recent cut was about a month ago and is hands-down the best haircut of my life. Photos in the pink sweater are from today, with zero styling and no dye or bleach in over a year. The rest of the photos are either Katie-dyed or Katie-balayaged.

I've been going to Christine for over a year now for sugaring and facials, it's an appointment that I always look forward to. From seamless appointment booking through text all the way to the service, I can't recommend Lady Lam enough. Christine is very talented at her craft, she thoroughly explains the process of her services and products and you can tell she puts extreme care in the work she does. In the past I tried a few salons to get my Brazilian wax but none of them felt comfortable. My first experience at Lady Lam was so comfortable, Christine made sure I was well situated, was gentle and also distracted me with her wonderful presence. She is a wonderful listener and her studio space is well appointed. I also have for a couple facials with her and they were so relaxing! The prices for all of her services are very reasonable for the service that lasts for a long while. You will need to book with her well in advance (month + recommended) because she is in high demand.I'm going to continue to go to her for sugaring and facials until who knows when. Highly recommend booking an appointment with her!

I always touted to anyone that would listen that Jamila had angel hands because the stored up tension in my upper body or lactic acid in my legs were instantly relieved. This last service I treated my daughter and I to facials. I loved my toning/firming treatment. I would definitely recommend this establishment for its services and inviting environment. Thompson Electrical did a small job for us this morning, moving two outlets and installing a third outlet. The electricians arrived on time and completed the job in 90 minutes. They were efficient, quiet, professional and did not have to turn power off to the house to complete the job. This was not an urgent job, but they were able to schedule it quickly and everyone we spoke with was professional and appreciative of our business. **** worked with several electricians over the years, and we will call Thompson for any work we need to have done in the future.

We had a move-out and move-in cleaning done at two houses. The scheduling, booking and customer service was some of the best that I've seen from contractors so kudos to Oleg for being awesome to work with. I did find that a few obvious spots were missed during both cleanings (B+ grade cleaning), but they made it right with a partial refund/credit for one house and had their supervisor come out to do the fix work the next day on the other house. The bathrooms and kitchens look stellar, it's the small stuff like baseboards, spots on walls, vent registers, light switch covers, and cobwebs that were overlooked in some spots. I would grade the customer service as 5 star, cleaning as 3 star, and a balance of a 4 star for making it right.

Amazing work. We had our garage renovated into living space which involved plumbing, electrical, framing, siding, hvac, sheetrock, painting, flooring, moving a water heater and added a closet. An enthusiastic five stars A++. From the first time we met the owner, Greg, to the very end of the project it’s been an incredible experience, which is a weird thing to say about renovation work! The estimate was very competitive and if anything changed, Greg was really transparent. His communication throughout the six month excavation of our basement (2’ of dirt, more in the crawl space, and redoing our entire foundation) was excellent. He answered every single one of my questions quickly and in terms I could understand. And I cannot say enough good things about the crew led by Barry and assisted by Lamonte. They are incredibly detail oriented, tidy, organized, friendly, and creative with their problem-solving. Anytime there were extra trucks or noise, Barry went and notified every neighbor on the street who also got to know him. There wasn’t a problem that Barry couldn’t solve. They really went above and beyond with everything they did. We even found on garbage day that they had put our trash bins back for us every week. When they had extra workers helping, they were awesome too! Just good people all around who really know what they’re doing even with a huge project on a 1908 house.

Complete Heating & Cooling replaced our decades old furnace with a newer Rheem furnace that came with a touchscreen thermostat as well as improve the venting pipe system in our garage. We got through our first winter with no problems, which we are grateful for.
The crew showed up on time and completed everything within 1 day. Overall, I think they are a solid choice to go with, and it's nice that they are a local company.
One tip I might offer is to double check if the thermostat that they will install qualify for utility rebates (if any).

I am a registered nurse at an ambulatory clinic in the Renton area. I am very familiar with medical treatments for pain or injuries but not so familiar with Chiropractic treatments.
From the first visit to the clinic I felt welcome and well cared for.
The front desk staff were caring and efficient. I worked a lot with McKenna, Miriam and Hannah.
I was working mainly with Dr. Corona and Dr. Kagetsu. They listened to my concerns and developed a plan to help me.
The other chiropractors were professional and helpful.
Before appts the assisting staff would help me with stretching and mobility. I worked mainly with Justin and Jimmie. They have a welcoming and light hearted manner that helped to lift some of the stress and pain I was experiencing after my accident. The other staff members were helpful too.
Later I started scheduling appointments with Taylor, one of their massage therapists. She has been wonderful! She is kind and professional.
I was not sure if acupuncture would be helpful for me. I did not know anything about it. Wow! After the 4th session I realized a big difference in my quality of sleep and anxiety level. I was working Shuyao. What a nice experience.

Highly recommend Arrow. My chihuahua was attacked by a dog on a Saturday evening and she had a puncture wound and a torn ear. I went to Arrow; the front desk tech told me the vet would not be able to see us before they closed at 8pm, but the tech took my dog, shaved around her wound, and gave her a quick once-over to make sure she didn't need immediate emergency care, then told us to come back early on Sunday (which we did). There was no charge for the once-over on Saturday, which gave me HUGE relief and peace of mind. I went back on Sunday and the vet took a closer look at her wounds, got them cleaned, made sure there was no neck or spinal injuries, and I got some antibiotics and antiflammatories to take home. The final bill was just over $250, which is a fraction of what I expected to pay. The other dog's owner paid me for the visit and they were shocked the bill was so low, too. If I had to wait all weekend to see our usual vet on Monday I would have been a nervous wreck. Urgent care was exactly what we needed, the staff at Arrow was great, and the cost was more than reasonable.

We cannot say enough good things about this veterinary clinic and their entire team. They took exceptional care of our sweet girl after she tore her ACL and needed TPLO/TTA surgery.
From the very beginning, we felt informed, supported, and genuinely cared for. Nurse Nina went above and beyond and surprised us with the sweetest custom bandage, which honestly meant more to us than she probably realized. The entire team came out to greet our girl, showered her with love, and made sure we left feeling confident about her recovery plan.
For anyone preparing for this surgery: they walked us through the healing process clearly and realistically—strict rest at first, gradual leash walks, pain management, and what signs to watch for during recovery. Knowing what was normal (swelling, slower movement early on, probably won’t eat or potty for the first 24 hours, gradual improvement week by week) helped ease so much anxiety. They were always available to answer questions and never made us feel silly for checking in.
On top of all that, their pricing was significantly more affordable—about half the cost of BluePearl and Bellevue Veterinary and they accept CareCredit.
